Opiniones de Cafe Salsera Dallas
I had the greatest time! Amy was our cocktail server and she was the sweetest—super attentive and truly went above and beyond to make our girls’ night out the best. Amazing service and great atmosphere. Highly recommend!
I’d walked by this place a few times but had never been in. Very nice place for a date night of GNO. Service was great and everyone was on top of it. Sat in a booth and they had a QR code to order to our table, pay via Apple Pay, and split between multiple parties. So easy and convenient too!
Great service! Thank you for hosting Dallas Book & Sip Club! 10/10
10/10 great venue and great drinks! Great place for a GNO
Great atmosphere. So cute perfect for girls night.
Great location for book club! Food and drinks were 5/5!
Amy was my cocktail waitress and made our night! VIP service was GREAT. The vibes were AMAZING. Atmosphere wise was the BEST i’ve seen in deep ellum. I 100% recommend bottle service here. Ask for Amy👍
I came around 930pm on a Saturday night. The place was pretty empty at that time. My friend and I ordered tacos and the chips and salsa. We were able to sit at one of the booths since they weren’t reserved til about 1030/11pm. Our server was sweet and attentive. The guys at the door were alright, but the security guys inside were too serious about standing around the “vip” section once it got later. Didn’t wait long for the food. The tacos were tasty and the chips had some good seasoning on them. Def would go back for the food lol. We decided to leave and check out some other bars, but came back to Salsera after midnight. The place was hella packed on both floors. You could barely move through the dance floor. People were dancing, but there was no way to avoid touching everyone around you. Music choice was 7/10 imo.
So far I haven't tried any food, but the staff is always friendly. What really draws me here is typically they have Salsa lessons for like $5 per person (fyi. This whole Deep Ellum area has parking fees for most of the parking @$10 per. Car). But so far the Salsera has been good. And has a nice old feel to it. I'll update when I have some food and let you know there how it goes. Edit 3/21/19 Come pretty often, still a great place food is decent priced and has pretty good flavor, portions are good also.
Long line to get in. I took this photo in front of the club because it was so funny seeing Dallas police on horses! 😁 About the club: very long line, Saturday night seems to be more reggaeton and electronic, little cumbia & merengue. Smells like smoke and beer. Stuffed, hard to dance or move around. Overwhelming. Nice artwork on the walls. Awesome floor. I will come back another day hopefully there will be less people and more salsa music so I can test out that gorgeous hardwood floor.
Great space and amazing atmosphere! The decor is perfect for the girls and I’ll definitely come back
The bartenders are kind and friendly- the venue is very clean as well. ALSO they play great music consistently
Drinks are like 17$ lol god damm 17$ … the atmosphere is amazing but no one is friendly. I rather go to Vidora , even tho they don’t have Ac at Vidora . I didn’t try the food . Short line tho . The bartender doesn’t like their job. They look miserable .
This place has the best potential. It could be so much more if it was cleaner. We sat on the balcony and it was terrible. It was slow to get anything. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks. Our table was sticky and so was the floor. My food was cold and had paper stuck to my bacon, it looked and tasted amazing but I wasn't really upset until I found the hair in my food! They compensated me the meal that I didn't finish.
You need to get there before 11:30pm if you want to enter, if not prepare to stand in line until someone decides to leave. It gets a bit crowded but if you're nlt claustophobic then you'll be fine. The drinks are pretty nice and the employees are on Point taking care of the empty cups and beer cans.
While the remodel is AMAZING!!! The service keeps getting worse, even more so now. We bought a table (bottle service) and waited an hour for the bottle to come out, mind you we wanted 2 bottles but the first one took forever leaving us minimal to no time for the second. We ordered shots in between and the servers kept getting confused brining a few at a time (another waist). We did get one of their new sections the layouts are amazing and cute. But the service is nothing compared to how it was back when the drinks would come out faster and the bottle shortly after the mixers. The photo shows the table solemnly with the mixers and drinks we had to go to the bar for due to the lack of customer service.
Let me be very clear — this is about the bartenders and the absolute lack of basic human decency they showed. I was there Friday night 05/30 with friends. They didn’t greet us, didn’t acknowledge a “hi” or “thank you,” and acted like making eye contact was somehow beneath them. No smile, no courtesy, nothing. Just blank stares and bad energy, like they were being forced to serve us against their will. If you’re going to work in hospitality, bare minimum effort includes acknowledging your guests — not treating them like an inconvenience for existing. If they hate their job that much, maybe they shouldn’t be behind a bar. I work food/bar industry as well, and I would NEVER treat my guests the way those girls do.
I was there last night bartender is rude. Doesn’t even acknowledge you doesn’t say hi or anything. She has a face that doesn’t even wanna be there. Also, those drinks are very expensive. I pay $17 for a ranch water Security guards are rude police only thing is the AC in the music
Worst experience ever. Over priced drinks. $20 to get past the line, even with it being so packed it’s a fire code violation! Ran out of limes and shot glasses for 3 patron shots for $46? So a giant cup with no salt, and an orange when asked for lime? No toilet paper in the woman’s bathrooms. Floors littered with napkins, per my husband the man’s bathrooms are littered with cocaine. You want a drink at the bar? Not happening. You have to squeeze past people just to sign and tip on a stationary tablet? They just let people stay at the bar counter instead of making room for people to order then have the audacity to charge $19 for two beers? I will be reporting them to code enforcement with photo and video evidence, and to my bank for services NOT rendered. I also had an employee stack dirty cups into my current drink. As someone who frequents deep ellum for the last 12yrs, this was the WORST experience. Come here if you dare, but be warned you have to physically push people to order or to even use the restrooms (which will have no toilet paper or cocaine). This bar is one of the reasons deep ellum is no longer the place to be. Also be prepared to deal with second hand marijuana on the “smoking” balcony. TLDR: over priced, disgusting, not staffed well, clientele has much to be desired.
This place is terrible for dancing at night. The security takes bribes waited over an hour in line and people were able to get to the front and pay the securities pictured above $20 just to get in. I was waiting in front of the door for 20 minutes and they let in 35 people in front of me. Why make a line?? Just charge cover at that point. Don’t waste your time in this line go somewhere else. The place across the street cheap stakes has the same music and is way better.
