I looove CiCi's food! BUT the hamburger pizza could have more hamburger, I asked for one and i swear I could count the pieces of hamburger that were on the entire pizza on one hand. So more hamburger on the pizza, please, we are begging! lol Also the restrooms are always so dirty so that meds to improve greatly. The only reason I gave service a 4 star is because the pizza guy isn't very friendly when you request a certain pizza that isn't on the buffet. For example when I asked for a hamburger pizza he just kind of looked at me like he was mad I asked. So CiCi's please improve on these things so you can get 5 stars!

Today08/1/24 was so on point from the moment we walked in. We eat here all the time and the team that was here was amazing. Salad bar was full and fresh and a variety of great pizza was put on the bar & customer service from the clean up girl was amazing as well. Best we seen. Thanks Adrian for having yr team on point. I've been going to CiCi's Pizza in Lubbock and Amarillo for over 25 years. For the past two months I make this my outing every other week for the buffet. I Love the price and even more so since I get my senior discount. 😀 The salad bar has definitely improved and well maintained. The pasta doesn't need to be sitting in water while being served but that's very minor. The Awesome selections of pizza are Amazing. Even if I don't see my favorite flavor the employees are very polite and willing to make whatever I'm needing. Dessert - WOW!! I don't normally have dessert, but I tried it a couple of weeks ago. Totally mesmerized my taste buds!! 😋😋 Cleanliness isn't a one man or women's job. Very overwhelming. Some customers take their own dishes to discard of them. Others are absolutely filthy and don't help even gather their plates. Just rude!! Suggestions- I spoke with one of the employees about the taste of the Spaghetti with meatball pizza today. She wasn't enthused about trying it, so I tried it for her. First bite, I knew I wouldn't ever order one. Very, very bland. Noodles need to be cooked with a little salt, I'm not a salt person, but this pizza is lacking flavor. You can taste the Italian Seasoning, but other than that blah!! Second suggestion - The area in which people are to dump their plates to help out is so disgusting to customers who just ate a Great meal! Can't beat the price at any buffet that I know! Also they had good variety and a veterans discount, so I got a coke as well, which I usually don't. Definitely plan to go again! The pizzas were fresh and delicious, and they also allow ordering a type of pizza you want on the buffet! I wonder how they do it! But I'm glad they do

Came for lunch with my 1st grader, daughter & husband. It was packed. They had about 60 elementary kids from school enjoying a field trip. So they had a small wait. Unfortunately we had to leave to take my husband back to work. I came back with the kids. Food and service was amazing. Even when their slammed they don't disappoint. At the time of my visit, the facility was very clean, & steady flow of fresh pizza on the buffet. My wife has a tomato allergy. The staff was more than happy to accommodate her. The manager suggested a pizza with no tomatoes in the ingredients. The team took special care not to contaminate the pizza. They change gloves, used clean pans and cutters. I have always loved Cici's pizza because it's usually always fresh out of the oven and friendly employees, but this time, the Pizza was hard and you could tell it sat around for awhile. Food was coming out at a good pace nice and hot. You could tell the servers were having a day and we went late. I just kinda felt like we were bothering even though they didn't close for another 2 hours.

Food was good, but when they ran out of something, it took quite awhile to make it again. The salad bar was messy and didn't get cleaned, it ran out of several items. I guess because it was Sunday and very crowded, that's to be expected, but it should have been someone's job to refill an clean up. Overall, it was a good lunch

As always their pizza buffet has a great selection and the price can't be beat, especially with the current deal going on, making buffets w/ a drink around $6 per person. The pizzas are not the best in the world, but they still hit the spot when you have a craving. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the manager was willing to assist her staff and customers with what they needed. The only reason this review is not a 5 star one is because of the fact the wait time was approximately an hour to get in, and the facility was a bit dirty, that being said, they were exceptionally busy upon this visit.

What can I say but that it's Cicis. Pizza is fine. Basic salads. Deserts are fine. Small arcade area is ok. Cicis is basic, affordable, and family friendly. I recommend for something quick and sweet compared to something more advanced, more expensive and time consuming. So, what I'm trying to say is, perfect for a quick family trip. Thanks Cicis. Not the best food. But a great place to go when you have a large group of kids. Or if you're looking for a quick bite. The employees are always helpful and nice. The place is always clean. Salad bar is not very good. The vegetables always look like they were attacked by a dull knife. But the pizza is ok and especially the create your own pizzas. The pasta is always over cooked and soggy. The soup is always lacking. But the flavor is there.

Clean up was on it today the way the guys were busting tables and asking to take the dirty plates. Pizza and cinnamon rolls were out yesterday the manager Abel even came by to ask how we were doing it was nice.

Solid overall with perfectly acceptable atmosphere. At times the food is hit or miss but with the variety at your disposal it's hard to miss one you'll like! Cinnamon rolls are always amazing here too.

Poor counter man, I asked if there was a free refill on drink, to which he stated no. Then I purchased large drinks thinking there weren't free refills, which there is. We aren't from Lubbock so we hadn't been before to know either. Anyway the food was amazing.

I really wanted to give 5 stars just to recognize the gentleman cleaning the tables. I have not witnessed such a happy individual going about their job, which wasn't the most glamorous in the establishment. Yet there he was with a friendly smile, doing his task with a giant smile and warm welcome for every customer. It was an extreme pleasure just to observe a 64 year old finding pleasure in serving his fellow humans.

The only thing I didn’t like is that we ordered a specific pizza (I can’t handle the tomato based sauces), it wasn’t brought to our table, but instead they put it on the bar and it was gone in 30 sec. This particular day was busy. Atmosphere was nice. The food was to be expected. We brought some friends with us as we all had just left the pool for my daughter’s birthday get together.

Cicis has always been one of mine and my kids favorite place to go for a good pizza buffet. It might be the last one in Lubbock and they still do a great job. The pizza is always great. My kids may be older now but we still enjoy going to Cicis.

Took the kids there to munch out on the all you can eat pizza buffet. First time I've ate at a cicis in about 10 years if not longer since they closed the one where I live down. It was a little packed kids running everywhere having a good time at the small arcade area. Just what you would expect for the atmosphere and noise of it all. We got our plates after paying 4 of us me an adult at 2 teens and an 11 year old was approx $52 dollars because they charge extra for drinks it doesn't come with buffett.... We went put our stuff up got some pizza. We ate had a salad as well. The salad bar was lacking other extra on there, but it made for a descent salad. Could've also been a little more freher with the ingredients, but I get it they have lots of people come and go. We went and got pizza. Pizza was great like I remember it. They also made sure to try and keep up with the amount of people in there to keep it full. They did a great job on that aspect as well. We finished eating, but we decided to leave because of the amount of people that were coming in to eat as well. We didn't hit the arcade so maybe next time we can. Will def return to this cicis it was satisfying and great pizza.

Its a buffet and like most buffets the food is usually warm or cold but rarely hot. I didn't see anyone cleaning tables as guest left but I did see the manager scrolling through his phone (my own pet peeve).

Havent been here in a while but my last visit, well, the food was coming out really quick didn't have to wait to long but the problem was no clean tables, you can't eat if 90% of the tables are dirty, orher then that it was eh.

Good place to take young kids with a big appetite . Games were clean and a decent variety to interest young to older kids. Lettuce in salad bar had lots of brown pieces of old lettuce but the pizza bar always had lots of fresh pizza and I heard several people asking for special pizza and they were getting it to their tables pretty quick. Great service for a buffet.

The people are great, the service was great, the food was great. The location was just a bit dirty and the games in the game area were empty. I do have to say I think there must have been a big party before we arrived. So that could have been the reason for the uncleanliness. Either way my family and I enjoyed our time there.

Update on Monday 9/4/23- not sure why we decided to come back again, but here we are. 10 min wait for the girl, Natalie, taking care of the salad/pasta bar to decide to act as the cashier for the line out the door. Not friendly, never smiled, felt like we were an intrusion on her time. Noticed they are encouraging people to clean their own tables instead of the older lady bussing tables. Most people did clean their tables, some did not. Today, they were able to keep pizzas on the buffet line as well as desserts and cheese sticks. Pizza was hot/fresh, but noticed they have alot of pepperoni options. Did see a BBQ, Canadian bacon, Alfredo and spinach option. Still not my favorite place, but today was a better visit than the last one. Friday night all you can eat for $7.99. What a mess!! 1 person working the register and salad bar, 1 poor older lady trying to keep up bussing tables and 4 people working the kitchen and not able to keep pizzas on the buffet. As soon as a pizza comes up, people scarfing it up within seconds. I now remember why we haven't been here in awhile. None of the employees seem to have a sense of urgency to keep the buffet full causing people become vultures waiting and then attack like piranhas before the pizza hits the tray. I will say that I have seen people stack 10 pieces of pizza on their plates and then leave 5 of them on the plate. Amazing how wasteful people can be. We even saw a few taking doggie bags out. I never even saw cheese bread or any desserts. We probably won't be making this a return visit.

Great selection and price point for the buffet however most everything was cold. Decent food if you wait for or request fresh food.

The manager Abel was amazing and professional. He has worked the for 30+ years. I have been going there for years and I see him most of the time. Unfortunately a staff member by the of Vanessa walks over to our table and addresses a 9 year old of why he has tea in him cup because he used a water cup although he had a paid cup. The paid cup had water in because he is 9 and picked up the wrong cup. She instructs him to pour his drink into his cup as if he was an adult. So I the grandmother gave her the money to pay for an adult cup although we proceeded to drink WATER out of a PAID child’s cup. Before leaving I did thank Abel and informed him if the bad customer service Vanessa offered. I also informed Vanessa she shouldn’t address anyone until she knows how to properly address them. I hope she receive proper training because Vanessa was terrible.

I love eating here but I'm here now and there's staff walking around. A lot of dirty tables but their not cleaning them. 1 male employee with curly black long hair did ask to take our plates. He was sweet. The pace of their pizzas coming out are normally faster than tonight. Their trying. Just tonight isn't a normal night I guess.

We visited CiCis Pizza for lunch. When we entered, we had to stand at the counter for about 10 minutes while the attendant was refilling the salad par and would occasionally look up at us, then put her head back down. After a while, the same attendant made her way over to the register and processed the line that was by now out the door and standing on the sidewalk. We go out plate and grabbed a small salad. the salad was about average. When we finished, we had to buss our own tables and then proceeded to the pizza line. It was fairly well stocked with hot pizza. the quality was fine and we finished out meal. The experience was good.

Good customer service everyone was nice, pizza was good but I’m giving a 2 not sure if it’s usually this way. This was our first time trying it out. It was so dirty. The walls by the tables were gross, the chairs were dirty. Where they keep the pizza on the bottom there was spills of pasta sauce. Floors needed to be sweeped and cleaned.

The salad bar was terrible. Brown lettuce, after asking for some more they opened another bag of salad and just poured it on top of old brown salad. 😱 They do not have cheese, bacon bits or olives on the salad bar. You have to ask for it. Salad dressing was dripped all over the counter. The ranch dressing handle had thousand Island dressing all over it. No smiling faces on employees..... No cinnamon rolls, or brownies. Did finally get some cinnamon rolls after asking. But they were out of brownies??? Go figure!!!! The gentleman who used to run this place many years ago needs to come chew some butt... Not a good experience at all.

They used to add the noodles to the soup, but they don't anymore, so they get dry and don't look appealing. The broth is still amazing and full of flavor though. There weren't many options for the pizza or very many employees working (I only saw 3), so we had to wait for them to help us get more food. It would've been nice to have more pizza options and one employee that focuses on serving only, not accepting payments and serving, or serving and cleaning tables. The 3 tea options were all out of order. The walls looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. UPDATE: The staff has increased and they're much better at getting pizza out. You can still put in an order of your choice and they call out the pizza when placing it on the buffet. 2nd update: They've painted the walls, removed the "arcade" area and blocked it off, and have a large sign on the wall stating big changes are coming. I can't wait to see what those changes are, but the new paint is already a great improvement! The place is much brighter!

Pizzas Tase Alright But Some Are Disgusting

Not too busy. Very slow at keeping fresh pizzas up on deck. We were there for about 45 minutes and thought we would get pasta but it was never refilled at any point while there. Dessert pizza was a rare thing too but did manage to watch and got it when it popped up. It was quickly gone too. Not much to choose from. Restroom was very bad smelling. Not impressed.

The food tastes good but the service is horrible. We waited for 15 minutes to pay and there was a line behind us. I asked the cashier if they had a spinach Alfredo on the buffet and she said there was one coming up. It never did. There’s never enough pizza on the buffet to serve everyone and you have to wait. The salad bar was near empty of salad and ranch dressing. You would think the manager would train the staff to be better prepared for lunch and dinner rush.

They were busy and that led to empty pizza slots on the bar. You serve yourself get your own refills and they want you to clear your own tables . Of course when you are paying they try to get you to leave a tip,(for who) tables set unwiped for over an hour I had to wipe off my own .

Salad bar was ok. Pizza was ok. They seemed to rotate 3 or 4 pizzas through, but the less popular just sat. Pasta bar was terrible…old pasta & all they did when they noticed it was low is to pull the dried pieces into the middle.

Their vegetarian pizza is horrible bc I can't pick all of the diced onions off & still enjoy it while it's hot. All I can eat is the cheese pizza. They only had gross pizzas out on the buffet when we got there. I had to beg for them to put out a meat lovers pizza for my husband. They should already have proper pizzas cooking &/or cooked when they open so people don't have to eat salad &/or pasta or nothing at all.

So! My fiance went there with his friends yesterday and spent almost 100.00$ on food. Right? You'd think they be happy about that. But the manager there decided t be rude, obnoxious, and almost kick them out over one w a t e r c u p, ONLY ONE, that was filled with soda. Because someone had been there for the first time and thought it was okay. She came out and decided to be extremely rude and say "I swear to God, if I have to tell you again to not put soda in the water cups again, I'm gonna kick you out." She didn't even tell them a first time. Like, nowhere else gives a damn about it. They're givng business!!! Be happy! And not only that but she fat shamed a 17 year old kid who hasn't eaten a whole lot in days for eating 4 plates. A 115 lb CHILD. And for what? The food was gonna get thrown out anyway!!!! To make matters worse, when my fiance and his friends left, she stole THREE WATER CUPS, FULL OF SODA, AND 5 BOXES OF FOOD, UNPAID. And the workers hate her anyway!!! She makes everyone miserable. Please fire her!!!!! This was so uncalled-for. Edit: oh yeah! Turns out she doesn't even take care of the food she serves. Sneezes on her hands and touches the food!!! Until she gets fired, my family and I over 200+ people btw will never come here again. Do better Cicis!

The employees at the front have smart mouths, blocked off half the restaurant 2 hours before closing trying have a 8pm rush sit restricted into half the restaurant. Waited 28 mins for noodles after being told they were being dropped and when asking how long on the noodles “ idk how long the cook cause that’s the cooks job” noodles finna be mushy.

We waited thinking they would restock but NOPE! And I felt even more horrible for the people that came it at 9pm and had to ask if they were gonna put pizza out!! We showed up at 9:25 pm. Sign in the door says close at 10 pm. They told us they close in five minutes. We could eat what’s left was left on the buffet, but had to eat it in five minutes. Their attitude was terrible when I pointed to the closing time on the door (I didn’t say a word).

This place has gone waaaaay down hill. It seems they are too busy worried about making the to go orders rather than keeping the buffet stocked. The pizza that is on the buffet has such weird combinations and they can't seem to keep up with the demand of number of pizza needed. Paying $9 for 2 slices of pizza is absolutely ridiculous! Every time I went back to attempt to get more it was either all gone or only had what everyone else refused to eat as well. Complete waste of money. We won't be back for sure.

Left hungry for the 1st time in around 30yrs. I ate a salad, 2 slices of Alfredo Pepperoni & lucked into a cinnamon roll. Normally a solid operation, but this last visit was absolutely terrible. They apparently were out of Marinara, there might have been 1 pizza on the buffet at a time & when that happened it was mushroom, black olives & red onions with Alfredo sauce. When I asked for 2 custom pizzas yelling ensued from a lady in the back (they were storing 1 made pizza under the buffet). After waiting 15min from the request, I still didn't see my pizzas go into the oven & we left. Still making full to-go orders somehow though. More pizzas in a single take-out order than the buffet had the whole time we were there. Just terrible & sad.

My husband and I went today for lunch and it was horrible. We will definitely not be back. They had just opened and the pizza that they had out were not cooked correctly. I was watching as pizza came out of the oven and if there was still that kind out they would put the fresh one under the counter. Poorly ran!! When we came in, almost no food was made or left to grab from the buffet. All the customers around us are sitting and watching the buffet to basically scavenge the pizzas that are left. There was an employee who became upset and knocked over a chair that almost hit my mother in law and seemed to be arguing with a manager and talking crap with other customers. There came in a huge group of people that came in and didn't get service for a long period of time. And customers are having to clean their own tables as the dining area is unclean.

Me , my mother and my sister went out to eat here and we are a family of food service workers with pride. Needless to say we won’t be coming back for a while due to the floor being covered in food chunks, multiple accounts of cross contamination and works wiping their face, touching the food directly after amd not bothering for gloves and or washing their hands. We were there for about an hour and a half and I below fear of food sickness or even poisoning due to a mild issue I have with jalapeños. They mix that one pizza with another and also the pepper’s juice splashed onto the counter next to other pizzas. The cashier took over 15 minutes to get greeted or noticed at counter, she had a nose ring in touching her hair and had ear buds in. Do better CiCi’s Pizza!

This place is amazing when theres another manager but today 8-13-25 at 6:30 noooo . Food was like blahhh! noodles soggy, ranch was gross, pizza was not cooked well

Since the old owner had left, it feels like times got hard and the joy of the place has left. Updated for 2024. New manager/lead is super retentive about bowls versus cups for ranch. We have been going here longer than she has been employed here. Get out of here with that crud.

How many health department violations can you have in an hour? My daughter and I who both work in food service and have Serve Safe Certifications, lost count. First, it took over five minutes to be greeted to even pay for our food. No hand washing, filthy floors, the buffet lines were filthy, the workers kept touching their hair and faces. In the entire hour, I never saw anyone was their hands or wear gloves. One cook took his drink into the active kitchen area. Even better there was dust from the dust storm Lubbock had FOUR DAYS ago, still laying on the buffet counters around the bowls and plates. I have never seen such a disgusting and filthy restaurant in my life.

Place was absolutely disgusting! The table we had was clean but the floor all around the table was covered in trash and food! None of the workers was wearing gloves tables around us was stacked with dishes! The absolute worst Cicis I have ever been to will never go back! Will not recommend this place to anyone

We went in on Sunday around 1 PM. They were totally understaffed. People kept coming in and there was no pizza out for the most part. We wasted our money that day. Usually Cicis is good, but this location was not.

Told they couldn't let anyone in because they had to get thier buffet back up. So you turn down customers? Crazy, who runs this place? It was a Saturday lunch, its pizza. Get you some new management.

There was almost no pizza available despite waiting for over an hour, the whole store was filthy every table had plates stacked up and the floor was covered in trash, and there weren't any employees to be found leaving a line at the register out the door.

My family of 4 and I tried to go for a late lunch and after waiting at the counter for close to 5 minutes with no one in sight, a worker finally came out to tell us they weren’t allowed to take anymore customers because they needed to restock the buffet. We decided to just leave and take our business to Pie Five instead.

They made us wait 20 minutes before serving us. I've never been to a buffet thats done this before. It's so wild.

Went to cicis and haven't been in a long time and man it's was the worst ......one reason I forgot I didnt want to eat here anymore ....there isn't good pizzas begin made anymore they took forever to make a pizza I was waiting for my son ...turns out the pizza wasent the same taste very nasty and it wasent the same food is bad amd no desserts to choose from the cinnamon rolls were all burn and nasty ....pizza wasent good and workers were just standing around gossiping ....not making any pizza ....won't be back at all

So I'm upgrading my review and dropping my service review to 1 star. My son doesn't eat tomatoe sauce so he asked for a Alfredo cheese pizza and it was fine the first time but he asked for a second one because that pizza goes fast and its not like he's the only one eating it. When he asked for the second one the lady responded with " another one? " in a rude judgemental tone towards my 13 year old. He was with his grandparents so I wasn't with him or else I would have addressed it in person. It's a buffet so yeah he wants ANOTHER pizza. He doesn't need a grown adult judging him especially when he doesn't eat anything else except an Alfredo cheese pizza and maybe the cheese bread. But God forbid you ask for a pizza preference. It also wouldn't hurt to turn your AC on! Oh I'm not sure of her name but she was very thin and looked in her 40s according to my son. 12-19-25 around 2pm. I think talking to your staff and have this be a teaching moment would be great.

This place was so filthy and there was no clean tables the floor was filthy everything was filthy and the guys were all sitting at corner table by kitchen entrance and we’re not cleaning the floors or the tables. Then my husband said he saw an employee drop some toppings on the floor and picked it up and put it on the pizza.

The staff was more focused on making delivery and takeout orders. Sat at our table for 20+ minutes before we got 1 pizza put out on the buffet line. All the customers rushed the line and they just kept letting more and more people in without ANY FOOD!

HORRIBLE!!! OMG! We walked in to a very busy, very messy establishment! We should have turned around and left the moment we saw there were literally NO CLEAN TABLES, trash on the floor and on the tables. I saw one employee sweep one spot then disappeared to the back, ignoring all the dirty tables and trash. Another employee sitting on his phone at a table, and another employee standing there talking with him. "Luckily" for us, they left a cleaning rag and sanitizing spray on another table, so we cleaned our own spot. I went through the buffet line and saw another employee use the serving spatula to pick up a slice that had fallen off the pizza tray, landed on the dirty buffet line, put the slice BACK onto the serving tray and then wiped down the dirty spot she just lifted the pizza from. I'm currently throwing up from food poisoning. The pizza was floppy, thin and soggy. Disgusting, dirty, unsanitary!

I placed a Togo order on the app. I went to pick up the food, after 30 minutes, it still wasn’t ready…while waiting I noted they were placing pizzas on a stool one foot from the floor because they ran out of space on the buffet. I found that disgusting and really sad. They hadn’t made the Togo ranches and the girl took her sweet time so then the pizza was cold. Finally, after all of that, I got home and even after the cinnamon rolls were in the oven at 165 degrees for at least 15 minutes, they were STILL RAW. Very disappointed in this experience.

Staff complained about having to make any extra food at all. Staff very unfriendly. Caught 2 workers straight up insulting multiple customers and pointing them out right in front of me. 0/10 stars, honestly won't go back until there's new management or they teach their employees some respect.

This place is very disappointing! Food was cold and we waited over and hour and a half just for pizza to be made. I asked for noodles three times and the women manager on duty she dismissed me like I was bothering her.

The atmosphere was/is always nasty dirty tables,floors, especially bathroom Who wants to go somewhere they eat need the bathroom and there be vomit and poop splattered all inside and on the back of the toilet, makes you loose your appetite so bad! This is one of my favorite buffets but the service is bad other then a older women she's been there a while she's always A1 on everything... I showerd up today about 5:30pm couldn't find a clean table at all had to have the bus clean us one.. there was no clean plates the pizza was not fresh until they started getting packed. Other then that I love cicis I just wish the workers were always on point with everything 😪 when I worked fast food bathrooms had to be cleaned every 4 hours looked like there's wasn't cleaned for a week

I will never go back. I took my daughter and son to eat and the place was so dirty .the food was not fresh. The salad bar didn’t have very many options, and the pasta was overcooked The restrooms were also very dirty

We like the pizza at Cici's but the cleanliness of this place has gotten awful! There were 5 or 6 employees in this location and maybe 20 guest. Tables were covered in dishes, floors were gross and the bathroom was disgusting. The employees that were not busy cooking were just standing around in the back talking. This used to be a great location but not anymore.
