It’s 6am at the San Jose Airport, i‘m exhausted.. the woman working today completely turned my morning around. She was so patient, cheerful, and kind, even with the early rush. It’s rare to meet someone with such a genuinely positive attitude that early in the day, and it really made a difference. The food was fresh and tasty too! Thank you for starting the day off right.. people like her make traveling a little easier.

I grabbed an asiago bagel and cream cheese passing on another of my favorites, everything bagel. Excellent flavor. Pairs well with their very good coffee. Fairly readable menu. Accessible table Accessible restrooms in central airport area.

Don’t really get the negative reviews here, but I thought that it be a good place to stop by and grab some bagels before the flight. I’d say that the bagels are really good here, but not the best considering that it’s located inside an airport, but maybe if I come across this place again, I can give a better opinion on it.

Towards gate 28. Really long line but staffed ok. They were polite and preparing orders as given and at good pace. Bagels tasted good and felt fresh. Cream cheese was good and not over loaded. Coffee was hot and they ask you for sugar and cream or milk as they add those for you, no self serve station. Order is given with napkins so no need to grab those. They have limited seating in the place, nothing outside.

Good options of bagels. They even have jalapeño bagels. 3 tables if you want to sit and eat.

On the way to our terminal had a suicidal stopover at the Great American Bagel. Ordered a couple of medium coffees along with an Egg and cheese bagel ( chose cinnamon raisin ( should have so done everything bagel)). Before I get to the bagel and coffees kudos to the staff for being so kind and patient with folks rushing in and lines getting big. They made us feel home at the ordering counter for sure. Next up, the bagel sure turned out to be good though the coffee was a bit large for a medium and was too strong for my taste as well. I haven’t had coffee in a while and it could be because of that though it turned out to be too strong and butter for my taste. Worth a try with the bagels and good luck with the coffee!!

This place cleared the very low bar that I have for airplane terminal food. The veggie supreme was pretty good. Decently sized and around twelve dollars. Would I actively seek this place outside the contacts of airplane food? Probably not. But it was the best tasting airplane terminal food I've had that also didn't break my wallet. Don't count on being able to sit inside, there's only like three tables.

Ordered the sausage sunrise on a plain bagel. The eggs and sausage are precooked and then reheated in a microwave, along with the cheese. The plain bagel had a slightly chewy texture, which means it's fresh. But it was on the thinner side. Overall it was ok. I would not go out of my to order here again. The customer service was great @ 645 am. They were efficient and friendly. 5 stars to the staff!

Place reminds me of Seinfield’s “soup nazi” where you should know what you want to order before you’re up. The lady making bagels will bark at you, “whatsyourorder” then “whatbagel?” and “anythingelse?” I get it. It helps them be more efficient, especially with consideration to people trying to make sure they get to their gates on time. You definitely don’t want to be behind somebody mulling over the menu. I think because of how fast they try to be, they made an error with my order, giving me a cream cheese bagel instead of my bacon bagel. Fortunately I decided to eat at the place, rather than at my gate, so I was able to inform them and have my order remade.

Tragically, there is no non-dairy option here except jelly. Would love to see a hummus bagel or avocado bagel or anything plant-based. And maybe consider some soy milk for coffee…For folks who can’t eat pork for religious reasons, or anyone plant based, probably go somewhere else. The staff was very great and helpful though, so shout out to them!

Disgusting service, even more disgusting looking ham and Swiss panini - for $17 mind you - also I was never asked if I was lactose intolerant and ignored me when I asked for a different milk when I ordered my latte.

This place is really sucks, I ordered for blueberry crunch and a latte, some issue on the coffee machine and they took 15 min for a latte and when I ask for it. The cashier was rude wait with rude tone, no action was taken out to inform the delay and finally the code was half the cup and not hot at all. Not worth for a coffee on this place and waste of my money. When I asked for the pest coffee cashier mentioned out , no small-cup so this is the standard size and this is what the size we charge . “ no courtesy of informing the customer and when I requested to cancel the order , she don’t even both to listen “.

Very rule, they need to train their staff. I asked for a small cup of water, and a Asian guy said Oh no, water. Want water from the sink? Which the hand & cleaning sink, I was like..... whatever, for real?! By law in CA, you need to give a water if a customer ask for it.

Horrible staff. The old asian lady at the counter was snapping at every customer. My medium caramel coffee was only partially full and had no caramel. When I requested her to add more caramel, she shouted at me. This is unacceptable service. Also, you pay seperate for the bagel in a bagel sandwich...what? O.o Avoid this place unless you MUST have bagels.

Such a terrible customer service. I ordered a hot chocolate this morning but the face of the old asian lady is so annoyed at me. What is wrong with her? Is there any sorrows? I am not dare to drink the hot chocolate after that

Staff was fine great but got the worst most unedible panini sandwich I’ve ever tried in my life. The bread was like it was a year old or something

Picture this. You’ve flown halfway or more across the world, skipping through the skies to a faraway place, a place of legends, of technology, of freedom, of opportunity. You’ve taken maybe two, three, four separate flights so far, each in pursuit of your final destination: San Jose, capital of the technology world; hundreds of legendary American Institutions call this incredible place their home. You shuffle off the plane as the dawn light pierces through the majestic glass windows of SJC. You gawk around in awe, at the towering headquarters of trillion dollar companies, at the flickering lights advertising the latest breakthroughs in AI for beer or computer networks for nurses, or something. Your stomach rumbles as you slowly shuffle onwards, head turning this way or that, each new sight of this technological mecca a delight to the senses. You lower your head for a brief moment, and you spy it - a small, humble shop advertising the Great American Bagel. This must be the place! In the great Land of Opportunity, this must be THE Great American Bagel! In your home, you’ve heard whispers of the great bagel, a heavenly concoction of diverse textures and flavors. We must imagine this scene in order to understand the enormity of expectation, the incredible weight of the entire American Mythos, pressing down on this Great American Bagel. It is inevitable that this bagel couldn’t possibly fulfill its promise. And yet, nothing could possibly prepare you for the disappointment that awaits. You take your first bite and are instantly repulsed. Insipid, dry, stale, tasteless, lukewarm bread, separating a greasy, overly salty, gummy cream “cheese”, squeezing out the sides like a teenage pimple on an unwashed face. They called it an “everything” bagel, but “nothing” is a far more accurate way to describe the toppings that dot the barren surface. You’d be better off eating the paper it came wrapped in. At least the guy I ordered from was nice, I guess.

The price is displayed are less than the amount that was charged. I asked about it, and they said that the prices have been updated but they haven't changed their display yet. I was charged 25% more than displayed. The food was good still, the employee was kind but was not willing to make any compromise, and didn't really apologize for the mix-up Nice people, but I do not like giving business to deceptive and advertising

Literally the worst bagel I've had in my entire life. No hole in the bagel, the texture was like a hamburger bun, the cream cheese tasted really weird -- maybe it was fat free? You know what though? I scarfed it down because I was ravenous. So, it was edible. I ordered coffee, which I feel neutral about. Thanks to the staff, I'm sure it's not their fault the bagels are an affront to bagel culture.

They got our coffee and bagel order wrong. We explained nicely to them what we had ordered for a second time. They got it wrong again. Not pleasant about it

I asked for a toasted plain bagel with strawberry jam. Sitting at the gate I find I've paid for a RAW bagel.im horrified....the staff were superhelful and I'd guess undertrained. Very disappointed!!
