I've celebrate here my birthday with family and friends and we had fantastic time! It was a memorable meal, well presented and accompanied by many bottles of very good Italian wine! Excellent food. Garden. We were 9 and shared many dishes. I enjoyed most the the t-bone steak, ossobuco, tagliata di manzo, fried frutti del mare -delicious and fresh salmon in marinate-pics. Dolci - must try the chocolate cake and tiramisù . English speaking male waiters, these people love what they are doing. Strongly recommend. Reservation needed. Marvelous food, ambiance and evening. I'd go back without a doubt! Thank you Hostaria Borromei for making my birthday evening special!

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at this nice restaurant. It's out of the way and very intimate feeling. We shared a starter of grilled octopus which was absolutely delicious . My husband had the tuna for his entree and I had sea bass. Both of our meals perfect but I think mine was just a bit better than his. We shared a nice bottle of wine recommended by our waiter. Our bill was only around 130 euro which I don't think is too bad for Milan. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Piccolo locale nella vecchia Milano. A dire il vero, anche abbastanza difficile da trovare. Entrando si respira un'atmosfera di altri tempi, non sembra neppure di essere nel centro storico di Milano. Ci si arriva direttamente a piedi perché posteggi non ce ne sono e le fermate dei mezzi pubblici sono abbastanza distanti. La qualità dei piatti è buona e il personale abbastanza gentile.

Posto incantevole, accogliente ma un po’ strettini i tavoli nella terrazzina. Arrivati alle 22 ci hanno accolto senza problemi e servito subito e con simpatia ed eleganza. Il cibo era ottimo, con le salsette dei primi è da farci una bella scarpetta! Cotoletta alla milanese grande morbida all’interno e croccante la panatura esterna, come piace a me! Se capito a milano ci tornerei molto volentieri. Camerieri veloci e sempre preparati a sottoporsi alle esigenze dei clienti.

Entrati per caso con dei colleghi ci siamo meravigliati del posto, location veramente suggestiva. Abbiamo pranzato veramente bene, ci torneremo sicuramente. Staff molto gentile.

Osteria Milanese molto informale ma con una buona scelta dal menù. Ottimi il risotto alla milanese con ossobuco e la guancia di manzo basata al vino. Il servizio è molto cordiale. Consigliato

Bel posto, ristorante tipico milanese. Pietanze ben preparate, prezzi nella norma. Belle le salette interne. Locale sempre molto frequentato a pranzo, preferibile prenotare. Personale cordiale e cortese.

Pranzo di lavoro: posticino molto carino nel centro storico di Milano, in una delle zone più belle di Milano. Abbiamo pranzato in veranda, e non sembrava nemmeno di essere a Milano. Business lunch menù rende anche i prezzi facilmente accessibili. Consigliatissimo!!!

Bellissimo posto nel centro storico di Milano. Posti all'aperto, in veranda e in ristorante. Carne e pesce preparati sapientemente con gusto anche nell"impiattamento. Personale disponibile e veloce nel servizio. Prezzo onesto e giusto per la particolarità del posto.

Ci ho trascorso la pausa pranzo. È un posto elegante con un buon menù, le porzioni potrebbero essere però un po' più sostanziose, soprattutto per i primi. Non do più di 3 stelle perche è impensabile che non si accettino buono pasto a pranzo in una zona così frequentata da lavoratori.

Locale classico delle Milano business, buon servizio da ristorante di tradizione. Ambiente molto elegante e suggestivo anche se con un retrogusto di polveroso. Purtroppo un po' tanto rumoroso e decisamente caruccio. Ma se volete un posto per far bella figura con i clienti è perfetto.

Online Reservation was without any problem. Arriving at Hostaria Borromei we experienced a warm welcome and were guided to a nice table. We ordered Antipasti, prima and secondi piatti, a good wine was recommend by the waiter. The starters had been served after a short time and were very good. Unfortuantely the next course had been called off too early, hence the Pasta was served before we finished the starter. The waiter apologised directly and we showed understanding. From that Point on our good experience changed totally. The former waiter did not Show up any more, all other waiters ingnored us. After Clearing away the second course we waited for more than one hour to the main course. The ossobuco was ok but risotto was not cooked right. No dessert was offered afterwards, even ordering an cafe was difficult and time wasting. It is most unlikely that we will come again.

Un pranzo veloce e poco gradito. Una semplice cesar salad con due microscopici pezzettini di pollo durissimo, lattuga un po passatella e ancor peggio...camerieri scostanti e scocciati. Meglio un baretto anonimo.

My wife's meal was good but my 'veal chop' for €22 was a fried crumbed wiener schnitzel the size of the dinner plate (and nothing else). I regretted eating it.

Tanto buono, quanto incompetenti e cafoni... camerieri che a mezzanotte ti obbligano a chiedere il conto e uscire dal locale. Uno dei dei quali sparecchia il tavolo già pronto per uscire, in giacca di pelle. Una volta pagato il conto salato (73€), mi accorgo del perché, la fretta giustificata di raggiungere la fidanzata in un angolo per limonare... Sconsigliato per arroganza e atteggianti sgradevoli
