High Hill Farm

I had the pleasure of once again trying the amazing food at the Côte restaurant located at the High Hill Farm resort community. This visit was a bit different though. I actually got to stay in one of the beautiful bungalows and enjoy an amazing breakfast in bed. I made reservations at 6pm and we showed up shortly before. We were politely greeted and we even got to check in before being seated. Our waitress Anna stopped by and took our drink order and gave us some time to look over the menu. She came back shortly after to check on us. That’s when we placed our order. We got the Burrata as our appetizer and a caesar salad. For our entrees, we chose the Smoked Pork Loin and the Brick Chicken. We went ahead and ordered dessert as well. My wife wanted the Dubai Chocolate and I couldn’t leave without getting their incredible Butter Cake. The bread and butter, caesar salad, and the Burrata came out first and it was honestly the first time I’ve ever had Burrata. The crostini’s were perfectly toasted. The warmth from the buttered crostini mixed with the cold bruschetta was a match made in heaven. The olive oil and balsamic reduction added such a nice touch. Of course their warm bread and butter was just as incredible as the last time, as well as the salad. Now it was time for the main course. The first thing I tried was the pork loin. It had a nice smoky flavor to it and the dijon cream sauce was absolutely delicious. The risotto and the corn and peppers were also just as amazing as the last time I had them. The risotto was rich and creamy and the corn and peppers were loaded with flavor. I then tried the Brick Chicken. It was very juicy and tender and the seasoning was just right. The brown butter sauce was the icing on the cake. It really brought the dish together. The rosemary potatoes were cooked to perfection and seasoned to match. Shortly after dinner, they brought out our dessert. I would have jumped right into the Butter Cake, but I had to wait for it to cool off. My wife tried the Dubai Chocolate and she really enjoyed it. She said the mixture of the pistachio cream and kataifi was delectable. Although small, we still feel like we got our monies worth, due to the beautiful presentation and overall flavor. My Butter Cake had finally cooled off enough for me to get a few bites and it was just as expected😍 After we were done eating, we made our way over to our room. It was honestly the perfect ending to the night. Although it was freezing cold outside, it was nice and toasty when we walked in. The room gave off such a cozy and welcoming vibe. It honestly had everything we needed. The bed itself was super comfortable, as well as the pillows. The shower was absolutely massive and they included some really nice shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap. The TV had tons of movie channels and the ability to order PPV as well. I actually woke up the next morning feeling refreshed, especially knowing I was about to get some amazing breakfast delivered to my door. For breakfast, I had the Avocado Toast. It was on a toasted honey berry wheat, with bruschetta, bagel seasoning, and home fries. I absolutely loved it!!! My wife had the belgian waffle with fresh berries and bacon. She said it was the perfect breakfast to wake up to. If you’re wanting to have an amazing dinner date or possibly even take it a step further and get a night in one of their beautiful bungalows, then I highly recommend reaching out to High Hill Farm and making a reservation soon. They also offer much larger houses as well. 3-5 bedrooms and some of them have pools (even heated pools).

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ High Hill Resort is truly a hidden gem in Texas! Jason & I stayed in one of their beautiful bungalows, The Great Southern, and from start to finish our experience was incredible. The bungalow was gorgeous, comfortable, and felt like a true escape. Dinner at their restaurant Côte was a highlight—we had the duck magret, osso bucco, and finished with the Buttercake, which was absolutely unforgettable! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the service was top-notch. What excites us even more is the vision for the full Mediterranean-style resort community they’re building. With villas, a white sand beach, boutique-style Topgolf, pickleball, shopping, dining, and so much more on the horizon—it’s clear this is going to be one of Texas’ premier destinations. Whether you’re looking for a weekend getaway, a vacation rental, or even an investment opportunity, High Hill Resort is a must-visit. We can’t wait to come back!

I absolutely loved my time at High Hill Farm. It was a beautiful weekend to visit. The owners/staff couldn't be nicer. And what a hidden gem! I live in the Dallas-area and made the quick trip over. It was like being in another world out there. So quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. I can't recommend this place enough to anyone who is just looking to get away from the hustle and bustle.

My wife and I had an extraordinary time here. The staff was attentive to our needs, the accommodations we're lovely & comfortable & the food was delicious! We had such a great time & knew our kids would enjoy the pool, so we went back to Tyler & got them the next morning & came back for another night. Highly recommend this place for so many reasons.

We were looking for a nice quiet weekend away from the hustle and bustle. We stayed in the Great Southern and it was perfect. Our favorite was the giant soaking tub in the bathroom!!

If there were more stars, they would get them! Sharon and Jason have perfected the romantic getaway. My wife and I stayed for our anniversary and EVERYTHING was exemplary. The food from chef, John Novak was extraordinary (understatement), the wine/cocktail was paired perfectly with our meal, the pool was the right temperature. Not to mention the "great southern" bungalow greatly exceeded our expectations. From the unbelievably soft bed, to the rainfall, spacious shower, to the private terrace. All of it was spectacular! We will most certainly be coming back!

I have stayed at the resort twice and eaten at the restaurant half a dozen times. The food is absoluely the best in East Texas, and the accomodations are very comfortable. I am not a huge fan of the brunch. I prefer the continental breakfast delivered to my room instead.

This is a very special place. Small staff, wonderful service, everyone has an “ownership” mentality. The restaurant served delicious food, OMG the lobster bisque! Beautiful grounds and the lodging and amenities were top notch.

My wife and I were looking for that perfect weeked getaway that wasn't too far to drive from DFW. OMG....this place is everything and more we could have wanted!! HHF is the combination of Seaside meets ETX Piney Woods meets counry luxuxry. The owners, Jason & Sherry, live on property and shared their vision with us over dinner and drinks. Such wonderful people to meet. The Staff is 1st Class and everything you need is taken care of with a touch of Southern Hospitality. The food is straight out of a 5 star gourmet restaurant. Plenty of cool places to hang out and just unplug. We just cannot say enough of HHF!!!!

A group of us recently enjoyed an incredible weekend at High Hill Farm, in no small part to our hosts – Sharon and Jason. If you’re not familiar with High Hill Farm, it’s time you do! Nestled in a secluded East Texas location (only 2 hours east of Dallas), HHF is a fabulous facility that offers guests a relaxing get away. While our party was there for a relaxing weekend, HHF can do anything from corporate retreats to weddings to all things in between. Need a massage? In room massage packages are available at HHF as well – this is on my list for our next visit. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Sharon, half of the dynamic duo that runs HHF! She set expectations about our bungalow (an adorable, modernly appointed guest house that made us feel like Royalty), as well as other points of interest on the property, including the vineyard, the on-site restaurant (Cote, reviewed separately), and even pointed out the incredibly detailed chicken coop! Pretty birds! Our visit included using the property as a back-drop for some photography sessions, which turned out fantastic! The main event building (which includes the restaurant and event space) offers an elevated view of the property below, including the vineyard, directly behind the building. We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at High Hill Farm, which is really made exceptional by the outstanding hosts and owners. Sharon and Jason have left no stone unturned when it comes to the amazing comfort details. They’ve really made a special place for guests; and from what I learned, more is coming! We can’t wait to visit High Hill Farm again – this time to hopefully enjoy a warm fire on a cool winter night. What more can you ask for?

We had our wedding here and it was absoltuely beautiful. I would return to High Hill Farm over and over. The food, ambiance and hospitality is above and beyond. I highly recommend this venue and weekend stay!

My husband and I hosted his birthday dinner at High Hill Farms this weekend and had a fabulous time! The property is simply beautiful and immaculate. Our group of 18 was making plans to return, before we even left! We spent the night in the Southern Bungalow and enjoyed leisure brunch the following morning. The beds were amazingly comfortable! Stay for brunch and enjoy the breakfast enchiladas... YUM!! Our little girls and parents joined us for brunch and the girls ran around outside for hours. You will not be disappointed!!

This place was amazing. The staff was very friendly and professional. The grounds were beautiful and very clean. We had a group of close to 100 people and it was perfect.

Stopped by to check out the food and thoroughly enjoyed it. Will be back to spend the night as soon as we can.

My husband and I found this place, which is amazing. The whole world should know about it. We had the most delicious lunch there. The club sandwich and chicken Caesar salad were wonderful, but the Lobster Bisque was one of the best I have ever had. I must also mention the amazing Bloody Mary they made us. The staff and owners were so accommodating and gave us the best tour of the entire property. If you are looking for a beautiful wedding venue, or an event venue, I would highly recommend. Jason and his wife Sharon were delightful and genuine. I can't wait to see what they do next here!

Oh my goodness! Spent my birthday weekend here & it was AMAZING! Nestled in the woods, the cutest & exceptionally clean cottage, pampered with breakfast in bed, a wonderful massage with Kyle & perfectly prepared dinners that were scrumptious! And did I mention the cocktails?! Put High Hill Resort on your East Texas bucket list!

I cannot say enough about our time at High Hill. The staff are so incredibly friendly and while managing such a large property, make you feel like a valued visitor. The Bungalow's are a good size and kept very clean. We ate at the restaurant 3 times during our stay and it was delicious every time. If you go, I highly recommend the hike to sunset point. Take a blanket, a bottle of wine, and enjoy the beautiful view.

Beautiful spot an easy 2 hr drive from Dallas. We had a delicious dinner at Cote our first night, and cocktails at the cute bar. The drinks were also creative and tasty! The grounds are so pretty - very green with a small vineyard, beautiful pool and firepit area, nice covered back patio. The whole weekend was so relaxing and such a nice getaway where we really felt "out of town." The owners and staff provided the type of service you might hope for at a 5-star hotel - they anticipated every need and remembered preferences. We couldn't have had a nicer stay and are already talking about going back in the Fall.

Booked HHR for my wife's birthday and originally planned just to have dinner. But then I saw you could book rooms and knew we had to try it and we are both so glad we did! They greet you at the door upon arrival and you get a tour of the main building. They have two dinning areas with one looked like for special events. Dinner was amazing! You have to try thier filet mignon! My wife got the lobster nachos and loved them! The service is outstanding! We were never without drinks or fresh water! The bartender makes some of the best old fashioned I've ever had! The bungalows are so cozy and welcoming! We will definitely be back!

High End dining at it's finest! It's a bit of a drive but worth the trip ! Excellent food, great service & live music. The "on staff" Chef is Top notch & comes out to check on the customers. Wonderful options on the menu that you won't find just anywhere. We will be back !

Absolutely EXCELLENT! We stayed 2 nights and could not be more pleased with the entire experience. The food is unbelievable! Dinner each night was so good, I would consider this one of the best restaurants in east texas. This was the most perfect pick for our weekend anniversary getaway. The service is what sets this place apart for me. You get that great hometown feel from these friendly people, but they also treat you like royalty. We are so happy to have found High Hill and can't wait to come back!

My daughter-in-law booked a surprise weekend getaway for our family at High Hill. It was absolutely perfect!! From the accommodations, to the outdoor activities, to the FOOD; it was more than we could ever had expected so close to home. Lexi, Willow, Chef Ryan and staff took care of our every need and were genuinely friendly and accommodating. This may have been our first weekend, but will definitely not be our last!

My wife and I had heard GREAT THINGS about High Hill Farm. We decided to go last weekend and it did not disappoint. The food was OUTSTANDING and our server Willow was very attentive and took excellent care of us. We will be back soon!

I cannot say enough good things about staying at High Hill Farms! We went for a weekend getaway from Dallas and loved every minute of it. The food was delicious. The bungalow was perfect and the staff is so accommodating! Additionally, we appreciated all the safety precautions put in place due to COVID-19. The individual rooms were perfect and they were mindful of all common areas! Go enjoy a weekend away! You won't regret it!!!

My husband and I enjoyed the restaurant on High Hill called Côte, and the food and service were amazing. We started with their spinach dip which was one of the best I’ve had. I had their market special which was red fish in a crawfish cream sauce with polenta and grilled squash, so delish! We finished with their Buttercake, and now I’ll have to get this every time I visit. Cocktails were also on par. This place is perfect for a romantic date night.

My partner and I loved our experience here. We barely took any photos because we were just enjoying being in the moment with each other. The room was neat and clean and stayed cool despite 100°+ weather. The location is private, peaceful, and gorgeous. Service all around was personal and excellent. Our cocktails were delicious and we have a few food recommendations that we'll be craving from now on. The lobster nachos were phenomenal, we would drive an hour just for that, lol. The lobster eggs benedict was yummy and the butter cake was to die for. But those were just our highlights, it was all good. We will definitely be back.

A great weekend getaway from Dallas! The rooms are very clean and updated, and the restaurant has incredible food cocktails. If it’s warm, they have a great pool, and if it’s cold, you can have a fire. Definitely don’t miss sunset up on sunset point.

This is the perfect getaway! Dinner was amazing and breakfast in bed was even better! Silvia makes the best cocktails and made sure our every need was met! The place is BEAUTIFUL! Room was very comfortable and super clean! Definitely going to back to this gem!

This was my second time here. I had my 40th birthday brunch here, and we had a lot of people and a lot ordered the same thing, which the kitchen wasn't ready for, but they made it right ! I love their food and them! They are super sweet .

I have stayed at High Hill Farm many times, eaten in the restaurant for brunch and dinner, and have attended several events there. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The cabins are wonderful: so cute, comfortable beds, super clean and they smell amazing. I slept 9 1/2 hours last time I stayed the night! The restaurant can’t be beat. Some of the best food I’ve ever had: chef gives the dishes a unique twist and everything is cooked perfectly. Finally, the owners are great hosts and have filled the place with the most hospitable and personable staff.

Everything was FABULOUS! 10/10 recommend! We stayed in Southern Charm and it truly lived up to its name! The bungalow is so adorable and beautifully furnished. We had dinner at the Côte restaurant and everything was absolutely delicious!! We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back soon. Thank y’all for everything! Nice and quiet. Food was the best I've ever had. Get the pork shank and before this visit I never liked French onion soup now I crave it.

Owners Sharon and Jason have built a clean and well appointed resort that is ideal for hosting weddings and large private gatherings. Staff was very friendly, food was delicious and accommodations were very comfortable. The main building has enough room to host a well-attended wedding and covered seating outside made for easy social distancing. The on-site vineyard supplies grapes that were made into a tasty signature Port. A barn on the property was converted into guest rooms with kitchen and a fire circle makes for an ideal hangout for young people. 200 yards of distance between the bungalows and the barn allow for several generations to enjoy an evening together, as well as a good night’s sleep when the grand parents are ready to call it a night. Not a bad drive from DFW, very peaceful and a wonderful place to enjoy a starry sky. Note, there is no WiFi in the bungalows and cellular data may be hard to access.

We recently had a leadership retreat here and Sharon, Jason and the staff absolutely over delivered on every single detail throughout our stay. All of the attendees shared that they felt like the red carpet was rolled out for them here. The staff attended to every single detail and was extremely professional. I couldn't recommend this place enough for a personal trip or a small business event. Hands down, the best hidden gem in Texas.

Just spent three wonderful nights here! We have already told our daughters and their families that we all need to get together here! Would highly recommend High Hill Farm to anyone wanting a getaway! And the dinner in The Côte Restaurant is definitely 5 star!! Thank you High Hill for allowing us to come home happy and refreshed!

What a fabulous discovery we made this past weekend visiting High Hill Farm near ARP, Texas! The food was the best part but everything was top notch! It’s fine dining in a very relaxed atmosphere! The owners and staff were very caring and attentive. The little cottages with private patios were wonderful! I’m looking forward to taking some cooking classes! High Hill Farm is a great place. Perfect for a weekend getaway or a business meeting. They can accommodate a pretty sizable tent for special events. The food is wonderful and the service is above and beyond what you could ask for. Take some time away from the busy-ness of life. You’ll be glad you did.

We celebrated our anniversary at Cote. The food was wonderful but the hospitality of the owner, soys chef and chef made the experience even better. We will definitely make the trip from Houston again.

What a lovely family friendly resort! Sharon and Jason Romano were on site during our visit and provided so many extra touches including a toy and stickers to our little girl at dinner. She loved the live music, a harpist who played during dinner. The pool is just lovely and the food is incredible. We were blown away by all the staff who went out of their way to accommodate us. Tyler is also very close if you want to make a visit. We would also imagine couples getting married here as the grounds and staff would be incredible to work with. Highly recommend!

High Hill Resort is a lovely surprise among the pines of east Texas. I came here for a ladies’ weekend based on a recommendation from a local friend. We stayed in the “barn suite,” which was casual but with all the right lux touches - towels, robes, bedding, etc. The customer service was friendly, attentive & excellent. We enjoyed a generous continental breakfast and then a day at the pool. This was a relaxing and beautiful weekend. We will be back - probably to stay at one of the gorgeous vacation homes with private pool & beach!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are looking for an adult getaway!! Beautiful country setting in rural East Texas. Last year I spent 6 days in Palm Beach at a 5 star resort. I enjoyed my time this year much MORE at High Hill Resort. It’s quaint and quiet with the most friendly staff, wonderful accommodations and the food is fantastic!!! The brunch is unmatched. Chef makes the most delicious scones I’ve ever eaten and the caesar salad with capers is unbelievable!!!! Not only is the food PHENOMENAL the owners and staff are too. An unexpected DELIGHT with the perks of a 5 star hotel/resort. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a weekend getaway for an individual looking to unwind, a girls weekend or a couples getaway!!! I will be booking another trip same time next year.

The party room we were in was very fancy and nice, though it could use some wall hangings to cut down on echos. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

I had a reservation on my wedding night we drove an hour there and noone was there to check us in this is ridiculous it is 300 a night we had to drive back an hour to stay at our house the customer service was terrible I wouldnt give this place a try it was a Awful experience

Had several poor interactions with the owners, they are not friendly. Rooms had insect issues, AC didn't work, both of the main owners had bad attitudes. They are money minded people and don't really care about customers. Would not recommend.
