Bill's Restaurant & Bar - Leeds

Arrived in Leeds the other day looking to grab some nice food was directed by some locals towards Bills their recommendation did not come lightly, absolutely amazing experience, great food, lovely atmosphere and such helpful staff. 10/10 will definitely be coming again, also a big mention to our server Kalila who was so charming and helpful throughout our stay. ❤️

Visited here with a group of 12 on a weekday so it was a bit quiet as expected. Service was excellent, a good choice of beers and other drinks. The food I ordered was chicken two ways dish which was nice. The starter was prawn cocktail but not like I usually have had it, it was nice nonetheless.

Loved the ambiance of the restaurant. The staff is very welcoming and warm. Ordered the Prawn Cocktail. Came with a mango salsa and guacamole. Great starter 👌🏼 Bill's Classic Beef Burgers for mains. Perfect medium rare juicy patties. Solid burgers 😋

My friend and I both ordered the same burger and we loved it, they looked appetizing and tasted good. The dessert was good too. It was a sunny Sunday afternoon so outside area was full, so we sat inside near the window, service was amazing and friendly, food came quick too. Nice environment and relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend dining there.

Beautiful building and decor, fab servers and fantastic breakfasts. I had the garden plate - every mouthful was delicious, Mick had the big brunch which was equally scrumptious. Our first visit but we’ll definitely return to a Bills if there’s one nearby.

We came for the bottomless pancakes which were amazing. The pancakes themselves were perfectly cooked and the toppings were so fresh and tasty. Our server James couldn’t have been nicer too! So friendly, took time to have genuine chats with us and went out of his way to cater to our table and ensure the pancakes were 10/10 - thank you James!

Beautiful old building with lots of history.. the blue plaque on the outside explains whose house it used to be and you can really feel it inside. It's cosy and has a lovely atmosphere. The service was exceptional and the Gluten Free menu was explained thoroughly. The set menu is 2 courses for £17 and they were more than happy to adapt the dishes to Gluten Free. I had pate starter and a burger for Main. Both of which were outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely brilliant. We were served by Matt! He was very accommodating. The food was absolutely brilliant, came out quickly. I will definitely be returning! The staff here are an asset to Bills.

Had a really nice time at Bill’s in Leeds. The food was great and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Everything we had was really enjoyable. Special mention to Kalila, who was lovely and made us feel well looked after. Great service and a great experience overall — would definitely come back! 😊

We had such a lovely time at Bibbi’s in Leeds! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the ice cream was absolutely amazing as always. What really made the experience extra special was the service we received from Gabriel. He was incredibly friendly, patient, and genuinely kind, making us feel so welcome and looked after. You can tell he really cares about the customers and enjoys what he does. Big thanks to Gabriel for making our visit even better — we’ll definitely be back again soon!

Our second year coming here for Valentine’s Day and could not fault a thing! 10/10!!! All the staff working were very friendly and helpful, the food was brilliant too. Every time we’ve come here it’s been great, would highly reccomend if in Leeds!

Wonder young professional, polite staff members with excellent communication skills and outstanding hospitality. A joyful atmosphere with Top Quality Food, I truly respect the chef’s dedication. I personally recommend the 2 or 3 course meal meanu. 10 out of 10 for value for money. To the employees of Bill’s Leeds City centre “Top Tip, keep hold of your staff and please promote through hospitality education courses. They will go far in the business and will be a highly valuable resource for the community. Best food dishes around.

We went for pancake day and our waitress Eva was so lovely and helpful! One of our friends arrived late but she still managed to get all our food out together on such a busy night. Thank you!!

Was in Leeds for an appointment and called in with no booking. Seated straight away by lovely staff member. Food and drinks ordered, it was exceptional. Staff couldn’t do enough. Beautiful place. I believe there is branch in Manchester but they have a lot to live up too but will definitely give it a go.

Today i went to Bills with my family, I was served by a wonderful server, her energy was amazing, very welcoming and engaging. Her service made our visit 10x better. After we had left I popped back in quickly as I forgot to ask for her name so that I could write this review. Anyways thank you so much Paulina you made our experience so much better we need more people like you.

Had a great works Xmas party. Food was of a high standard for a reasonable price. Room and venue were perfect. Service was spot on. Good work from the team. Max , Isobel, Teegan were quick, efficient and good hosts.

Great service provided by Max, Teegan & Isobel to our party of 40+ people, can't fault them at all, constantly available to sort out providing drinks and got everybody's food out with no fuss at all. The food was really nice (I could have done with carrots instead of sprouts though 🤭), didn't hear any complaints from anybody else about what they had either. Would happily go back to this place any time.

It was Friday and very busy but our waiter Malakai looked after us so well. Our table wobbled so he moved us immediately and was so kind when we had a problem with our Blue Light card. He was so attentive, kind and efficient. A great place to eat and first class service. A big thank you to Malakai’s boss who was so helpful and kind to us too. ( I hope I spelled Malakai correctly)

I loved my afternoon at Bills in Leeds today. I was warmly and respectfully greeted and shown to a lovely table with plenty of space to relax. Kalila patiently guided me through the tasty, perfectly cooked meal with such thoughtfulness and helpfulness, making the whole dining experience a pleasant and memorable one. I left with the warm feeling that I had been a valued customer who had spent time in the company of kind, helpful, real people. Thank you so much Kalila and your lovely colleagues at Bills..

We had a lovely experience today being served by Indica she was super friendly and efficient whilst not being pushy or rushing us off the table. The food was lovely and the atmosphere was great. Thank you Indica you really helped to make my mums birthday day special ❤️

Amelie served me and my boyfriend for our 7 year anniversary and was such a good waitress! She made sure everything went really well even though it was busy she made sure we got our food as quick as possible! Couldn’t recommend more!

We had our work Christmas lunch here on Friday 12th December and it was great. The food was lovely and good sized portions for the price. The waiting staff (Max, Teegan and Isobel) were excellent and the couldn’t do enough for us. Definitely recommend this place for large parties

Lovely experience today, came with a friend. Had a couple of coffees and then a pint each. Ben was absolutely fantastic and provided wonderful service (very pleasant and attentive). Will absolutely be back again!

We visited Bill’s recently and were really impressed with the service from our server, Paulina. She was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our meal ,nothing was too much trouble. Paulina checked in , made sure we had everything we needed, and had a lovely, cheerful attitude that made the whole experience even better.thank you !

We went for pancakes yesterday and were served by Gabriel - he was very knowledgeable about the menu and added to the lovely atmosphere. He helped us sort out our bill to include a Blue Light discount which was fantastic and overall made it a great experience. First time in Bills and absolutely astounded at the high quality on offer. The mighty brunch was cooked perfectly with huge portions. All the starters we tried were fantastic and the Sea Bass went down a storm. The service is friendly and prompt, so you won't be left waiting for long. An exceptional price for the quality provided, and the restaurant is a nice chill atmosphere to boot. Will definitely be back.

What a top-notch experience! The staff were all super friendly, shout out to Ben who really went out of their way to help. The drinks came out quickly, and I loved the lively Peroni pint and Bill's Cider—both were spot on in taste and presentation. Everything was so clean and the atmosphere just added to the overall vibe. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Visited as a group of five (including a child) for lunch on a busy Saturday. Food was delicious and arrived quickly. We had the Chicken Caesar Salad, Hippy Bowl, Chicken Burger and a Classic Beef Burger with Mac & Cheese for the little one. Our server Teegan was excellent, very attentive and helpful. The little one changed their mind about their meal and the kitchen were quick to accommodate us which was very much appreciated! We pre-booked a table and it was a good job we did as there was quite a queue when we left.

The service and food was fantastic. Really good value for money. Our waiter Malachi was brilliant. Very polite and lovely to us all. He had a laugh with our group which added to our positive experience. A brilliant afternoon out. Highly recommended.

We had a good meal here on a busy Saturday. We managed to get in for a table of four after the afternoon rush. We waited a little while for drinks to arrive, but the food came pretty quickly after that. We had a good mix of dishes between us from the crispy duck salad, pancakes, steak and eggs and a chicken burger. We all really enjoyed our food and thought the price was pretty reasonable too.

This should have been a 5 star review but some things were missed in our service due to the place over flowing (though they gave us a good discount on our bill). The food and staff were amazing, they have a QR code at the bottom of the menu from which of you add your allergens you can whittle down the menu to things you can eat. The food was very good and service good, although unfortunately our steaks were a bit dry (I think they might have let it rest for a bit long), they said they could replace with sweet potato fries, which they could not and brought the wrong dessert. They removed many of the items from our bill due to this and the food was very tasty. I would definitely give the place a 5 star, but unfortunately I believe the day we went there were unfortunate circumstances, and I can only review based on that.

Always eat at Bills and had an amazing server today, Malachi, he was so friendly a really great to have a real conversation with a server which is sometimes what is missed at restaurants, thank you. Our first server however hadn’t asked me if I had any allergies - uncertain if they were new but it’s nice to know when asked that they remember and care. Nothing was wrong with the food but just missing that extra reassurance to be asked about allergies. Will always come back to this location though.

Service from Eva was excellent. She answered any questions we had and was very warm and welcoming in her manner. One of our party needed to change their order and she facilitated this reassuring us that it was important we were happy with our order. Second visit here and will return.

Very dimly lit, was difficult to read the menu. Had to order drinks 3 times before they arrived. Asked for ketchup never arrived. Ribs were cold and the Thai green curry had 4 tiny pieces of chicken. Burger looked like a happy meal. Staff slow yet not busy. Only positive was the beer was good

With not enough tables to accommodate the demand, you may find yourself waiting for a seat or feeling a bit rushed once you're seated. Another downside is the coffee, which doesn’t quite live up to expectations given the price point. It's serviceable, but for a place that offers such a great breakfast, the coffee could definitely be better. Overall, while the food is a solid choice, the lack of seating and underwhelming coffee may leave you hoping for just a little bit more from the experience. Still, if you’re in the mood for a good breakfast and don’t mind a bit of a wait, Bill's is worth a visit.

I've never been to Bills for some reason but decided to come here for breakfast with a friend. Nice building. Polite host. Some issues with food. I ordered oat milk with my mocha due to intolerance. My mocha was served to me with cow's milk so it had to be replaced. My friend asked for butter to come separately, and it came on the toast. Servers seemed a little irritated by having to redo even though this had been the original request, so not comfortable eating it after this exchange. Beans, bacon and sausage... cold. Hash browns, warm and lovely, though. Decent portions. Overall, wouldn't go back, but it's a nice enough venue and atmosphere. Other similar places have more accurate service and warm food (Browns etc..).

I have no particular problem with this restaurant and it was a good place, nicely decorated, affordable, tables available, and staff were pleasant and helpful. The main issue i have is that this is another place where they have sticky sweet burgers that are more like desserts. I have a condition where i can't have much sugar and what was supposed to be a savoury dish ended up triggering my symptoms. Please be aware of how much sugar is in sauces, breads and other ingredients. Look for where it says carbohydrates of which sugars on the back. Thank you for reading.

We booked this restaurant for 7.30pm On New Years Day. We was a table of 4 and was promptly seated. The place was empty. We ordered 4 starters and all arrived in good timely fashion. No complaints for any of the starters all pleasant enough. Plates cleared and mains appeared quickly. 2 of our guests ordered the chicken burger and both found the chicken burgers to be rock hard and barely edible. 1 guest ordered the beefburger which he said was really enjoyable. I ordered the fish pie after reading Google reviews and I must admit it's the worst fish pie I've ever eaten, I ve made better at home myself, best way to describe it would be dry they might aswell just mixed the fish in with the mash because there wasn't any white sauce with the fish. Maybe we caught them on a bad day. Service was excellent but felt embarrassed to complain with the restaurant being empty. The server did check in with us but our response of ok and the food left on the plates and dishes would have been a signal. Disappointed with the 12.5% service charge
