Nothing beats a basic hotpot for lunch! I think it's a great place to go on dates or lunch with friends. I like the concept of putting a stove in between the tables to keep the soup hot and boiling. Along with it, the noodles, vegetables, and meat are served individually with your choice of broth. I had a terrific time here, and I will definitely return.
Our server was the coolest! Can't remember his name, but we went on a Monday night (specifically halloween night). His vibes were great. This is a pretty standard shabu spot. Each entree came with a bowl of veggies (pumpkin, cabbage, tofu, etc). For condiments, they provide sesame sauce and soy sauce. Scallions and garlic on the side too. I think the meal was pretty worth it! This is a nice place to get your fix of hot pot when you don't feel like getting AYCE.
First time going there and didn't know what to expect. It was amazing and it was sooo good. I got the vegetarian option while my hubby got the kobe beef with his broth. Again, excellent experience and food.
Absolutely delicious! Great prices and really nice staff. Rolls are a little on the small side, but they're super tasty!

Great food and great service! Our first family hot pot experience and it didn't disappoint!
go to place for hot pot, everytime. tends to work better for smaller parties though. Great place to try!
Excellent Food and service. Quality of food is above par - we like it so much that we’ve been going here at least once a week for the last year or so…lol
Drove an hour and a half to try this place. Had the spicy Sichuan. My kid loved it, I don't think it's worth a frequent drive, but it was worth the try. The American wagyu is great. However the service was AMAZING! We went on April 6, around 6 pm and there were only 2 servers, it was starting to get busy and they still took the time to ask if it was our time and explained how hot pot worked. They frequently checked on us and although they were busy, they never forgot when we requested additional sides. So for the service, I give it 5 stars.
Great atmosphere. The AYCE option is such a steal with Wagyu. Totally recommend!
Came here for a birthday dinner for our little family and we decided to order the AYCE. Everything was super tasty and the quality of the Wagyu was melt in your mouth. You can get up to 3 broths but our favorite was the Tonkatsu and Sukiyaki. You can also do individual entrees as well if AYCE isn’t your thing.
Fantastic hot pot experience with Darius as our server! Highly recommend! Fresh, high-quality ingredients and great service.
Fantastic food! Really fun environment, worth trying if you haven't had hot pot before. You won't leave hungry!
The soup's good, the tofu's good, the hot tea's good, every food and drink in this restaurant is good. Arigato!

I would say that I’m a bit experienced when it comes to hot pot restaurants. Not by personal preference, but because my dad really likes wagyu beef. And if you’re picking up the bill and you let me talk the whole time, then I’m fine if you don’t want to try the Liberian restaurant that I picked out. We did the “All you can eat” option, which I think was $38 per person (I wasn’t looking at the prices very much 😬). Actually there were plenty of options for dietary restrictions in terms of broth choices, which I think is kind of uncommon for this style of restaurant. There’s a fee if you don’t finish what you ordered for the all you can eat, but we didn’t have a problem with that (none of us ate lunch 😂) Menu highlights: I liked the miso broth, the enoki mushrooms, and the fish balls with roe. My dad liked the spicy sichuan broth, beef belly, and wagyu.
Decent hot pot place, good meat and fresh veggies. Definitely order the large portion but overall nothing special about this place. Worth a try and I would come back.
Yummy shabu spot! Brooths are flavorful, big portions of meat and veggies. Service was good. Skip the cocktails. They weren't worth it.
This place was amazing lots of fun very tasty very much worth the money. We will definitely be back hopefully sooner than later come with a big appetite because you will be full when you leave.

Great tasting food. Not much of a wait for us and was seated within minutes.
Love this little gem! I was new to hot pot. The first time the gentleman explained how to do everything. Since then we've been back a few times. Food and service is always good 👍🏻

Disappointed service. Only one waiter for 6 tables. Everyone was waiting food and etc. food was fresh and restaurant clean. Again, service was not good enough. I think they need at least two waiter or waitress. It was too much for him to handling 5-6 tables with big groups at busy dinner time. 09/24 @5pm

Shack is an apt name for this restaurant. It seemed clean, reasonabke price for ayce about $40/person. The sauce bar veggies were a bit wilted but edible. There was a bug in the Napa cabbage they brought. They replaced it no issue. None of the veggies seemed super fresh. The enoki and spinach were wilted. The meat was good quality, and I liked the sauce bar selection. The server shut off my pot twice without asking if I was done before the 90 minute limit was up and I had just ordered tofu 10 minutes before hand. Not a place I'd go back to but it did alright in a pinch.

We did the all-you-can-eat hot pot and were charged a $10 “waste fee” even though we ate all of the meat and vegetables. The only things left were noodles and broth — and one of the broths was genuinely unpleasant, which we told staff before finishing. We were told “there’s nothing we can do.” I understand waste policies for excessive leftover food, but charging customers for uneaten broth (especially when one broth was not enjoyable) feels unnecessarily greedy. Broth isn’t something you can “pack up,” and penalizing people for not forcing it down is unreasonable. For the price point, the ambience is bland and underwhelming. It doesn’t match what they’re charging — the space could be much nicer with minimal effort. As someone newer to hot pot, the experience was also not welcoming. There was no guidance or explanation, and staff felt more judgmental than helpful when we had questions. If you’re new, don’t expect any kind of introduction or support. Overall, between the rigid policy, lack of hospitality, and mediocre atmosphere, we won’t be back. I can make a better, more comfortable hot pot experience at home for $20 for me and my wife without feeling nickel-and-dimed.

Their hot pot broth is not even half decent, it was horrible, the tonkotsu broth along with all the others are beat by nearly every hot pot place in the county, so you're basically eating bottom of the barrel. If you don't mind all that, this place is for you. It's cheap!
