Tacos dorados easily crack the list for one of my favorite meals in all of LA. I could eat them everyday for the rest of my life and be a very happy person. If you were thinking about trying this spot, try it yesterday. And if you weren’t thinking about trying it, then also try it yesterday

Friendly staff and amazing food quality. You could taste how fresh the seafood was! I was beyond happy with their service and their prices aren't bad compared to other mariscos restaurants I've been to with worse food quality. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants that homestyle mariscos flavor & experience. P.s. Cash Only , be prepared.

We came here on a hot Saturday afternoon. It was a long wait but by the time we got in, it was worth it. The food is amazing, the service was impeccable. They close early and we didn't know but they were so nice and let us stay a little extra while gently kicking us out 😂 there's no alcohol at this location but everything else was great!

I’ve been going here for the past 15+ years. My last review recommended I should review this place. Since I never have, figured I should share my experience. I used to work down the street from this original spot on Olympic and the corner of Evergreen. I’ve seen their growth due to the amazing food. They used to have two corner restaurants literally across the street from one another on the corner of Lorena and Olympic. Now theres only one on that corner and it makes me sad. They’re always packed around lunch time and they close pretty early because Im sure they meet their quota everyday. Anyways this place has a dine in only, inside the restaurant and offers take out as well. They also have a catering truck parked right out front thats been there for years. The trucks now a newer, bigger and better food truck! The food truck is there take out option and most people just eat right there out in front of the restaurant. Small planter bench in front of the restaurant. This place always has a line. And for good reason. Its the best Mariscos place ever! My Wife has me drive us out there, all the way from Westminster in OC, whenever she has a craving for Mariscos! Doesn’t matter what you get all the food options are amazing! I personally always get the Shrimp Tacos Dorados(Toasted Hard Shell) and a mixed Ceviche Tostada. Wifey always plays roulette and switches up what she gets. Its always hard to choose what to get because its all soooo good! They give you avocado, limon, and salsa with every order. I’ve encouraged my wife to ask them what’s inside these Shrimp Tacos because they’re fire! Think they put crack in them because they’re sooo addictive! I literally take a bunch of shrimp tacos home for everyone else who didn’t get to go. They’re even better cold as leftovers! Can you say that about your favorite tacos? 4 Vientos has a special place in my and my wife’s hearts! Im so glad to see that they’re opening up newer locations in DTLA! I recommend you try the place and not judge a book by its cover, atmosphere, or surroundings. Granted the neighborhood is a mess. But its LA, and when in Rome! We always take some Home! This was our first time to Mariscos 4 Vientos. Parking was on the street and we chose to eat outside at the food truck. When we arrived, there was a line 10 people deep with 5 people waiting for their orders. We figured this was a good sign! I ordered a tostada mixto and 2 shrimp tacos. My wife ordered a tostada a la diabla and 2 shrimp tacos. It was our first time eating shrimp tacos that were deep fried, so they were completely different from what we have had in the past. You definitely need to try these. The tostada al la diabla was had a great flavor and was very spicy hot. My personal favorite was the tostada mixta because I could taste all of seafood. Don't forget their salsa...order it on the side and by the cup. We'll be back to try more on their menu soon! Maybe we'll see you there.

My favorite place to eat seafood in East Los Angeles every time I make the trip to Los Angeles it's a must that I stop and eat here the shrimp fry tacos are to die for and everything is really fresh and prepared on-site. I highly recommend this place for any Seafood lover. Their tostadas mixta are the best! Hands down!

Food is great, the prices are good, although the amount of food given has lower since the pandemic. They are up to standard by announcing 6 feet distance and wearing of mask. The wait time is approximately 10-15 min after ordering. Street parking available, don't park in Red zone because tickets are $150 parking enforcement in the area constantly.

But before Jonathan Gold sent Mariscos Jalisco shooting for the stars, the truck with the longest lines was probably going to be Mariscos 4 Vientos on any given day, and for good reason. The original truck and bricks and mortar at 3000 E. Olympic Blvd have been going strong for over a decade, with recent expansions further east to the intersection of S. Lorena Street, where two additional locations have offered a similar popular menu. With the sounds of tractor trailers and the smells of diesel fumes, it is almost a miracle this casual restaurant on the corner can be so comfortable and relaxing. A little later in the day, the spot tucked across the street on Lorena offers beers with your meal. Either way, sometimes you are just in the mood for a table and these locations serve that need better than the lonchera.

Not much that I can say other than incredible. I can see why this place is an LA gem. East LA to be exact. Great customer service and the food is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced when it comes to shrimp tacos. I ordered 3 and automatically wanted to order another one after taking one bite of the first one on my plate. The food came out hot, fresh, and fast. I had four of the shrimp tacos. They're crispy and the salsa that they put on top is out of this world. It counteracts the warmth of the taco fresh and a little cold. But after the second taco that spicing starts coming through. And next thing you know you got some drops running down your forehead. Your nose is running a little but you can't stop eating those darn tacos. By the fourth one I was kind of dizzy but I kept going and washed it down with a cucumber water. My girl shrimp tacos too and a fish taco. Wow that fish taco was so good as well. I had to take a bite. Fresh delicious mariscos can't be beat in this part of town.

We got there at 5:03 (knowing they close at 5:30) we were expecting them to say they couldn’t serve us anymore or a rude attitude, HOWEVER, Carlos greeted us with a huge smile. He answered my daughter’s question regarding the food contents (shellfish allergy). We didn’t wait long, the food was soooooo good, we got tostadas and tacos and my daughters loved the French fries. They want to say thank you to Carlos because he was so attentive.

Super yummy food!! We had the Marlin quesadilla tacos, shrimp tacos dorados, and the fish tacos!! All 10/10 so delicious and flavorful! The prices are perfect for the quality! Service was great all the people there are nice. It seems like there is no one person assigned to a table so I’m assuming the tip gets split (I hope). Overall awesome experience it was our first time there. Drinks are you typical drinks I don’t think they have fountain drinks though.

My wife is from Ensenada, Mexico, and we were near East Los Angeles at the time. I decided to take her to Mariscos 4 Vientos, the most talked-about seafood spot in LA in years. It was her first time eating there, and she was excited about trying some Baja-style mariscos. This place is both a restaurant and a food truck spot. Since it's very popular, be prepared to wait to be served inside and at the food truck. They also offer parking, but spaces are limited. Your best option is to park behind the restaurant in the alley area, where plenty of space is available. Mariscos 4 Vientos only accepts cash but has a pair of ATMs inside and outside at this location. We arrived around 1:30 pm and waited 15 minutes to order our food at the food truck spot. I ordered three Tacos Dorados de Camaron, and she had a Tostada Mixta. After about another 10 minutes, our food was ready and did not disappoint. The first two tacos were crunchy, had plenty of shrimp and fantastic flavor. The last one was the same, but it got pretty soggy due to the sauce and the time it took for me to eat it. According to my wife, the tostada mixta had Baja vibes, was very flavorful, with plenty of mariscos on a giant tostada, and guaranteed to fill you up with one portion. If you have the patience to wait in line to eat delicious food, please come to Mariscos 4 Vientos, which is highly recommended.

I think best fried shrimp taco in LA. I have been coming since I was 20’s. The food here is absolutely delicious. I wish I can speak Spanish so I can order something else. But shrimp taco is the must. I will try something else next time I am in LA.

Enjoyed my prawn taco and the staff were very friendly and helpful. As I test I had three from here and then wandered the 50m to Mariscos Jalisco to try theirs. Overall I think Jalisco was slightly fresher (crispier and warmer) and slightly cheaper $2.50 v $2.75 but Id happily return to either (it was “splitting hairs” between them in terms of quality). Happily recommend 4.7/5!

A must go-to spot if you’re looking for the best tacos in LA. Went to the food truck and ordered the shrimp tacos. A bunch of locals and nearby workers were waiting…so you know it’s legit! Only ordered two because I didn’t want to be full for dinner, but will be ordering a lot more next time.

This is a legendary Mexican seafood spot that was reviewed by mark wiens some years ago and that's how I found out about it and since then its been a spot that I always stop by when I'm around the area. the food is quality here and truly unique. their Baja fish tacos are gigantic and everything else is just incredible.

Two words: Shrimp tacos!! Update: after years of coming to this place, I think fame took over. I just had some shrimp tacos, and they've really bland. What happened? They were 5 stars, but bumped it down to 3.
