Opiniones de The Art of Espresso La Jolla
Best cafe on campus. Matcha is surprisingly good and rich. Vietnamese coffee is good.
Anyone who knows me, knows that I LIVE on air and a great cup of coffee. Today we visited Art of Espresso and honestly, it’s probably THE best blended coffee I’ve ever had - anywhere. I got the blended Java with a hint of chocolate so it was lightly sweet just how I like it. The location is actually ON the UCSD Campus and doesn’t advertise so you won’t find it otherwise. Plenty of outdoor tables and a great breeze from La Jolla shores. Privately owned and operated, it’s one of the best kept secrets in town! #espresso #familyowned #coffee #nikkiffrancis #commercialrealestate
Must try Java Pop! (With or without milk both good! Best coffee in the campus!

This is my favorite coffee cart on campus. Expensive for a poor student (sadly it's La Jolla) but slightly cheaper than other coffee spots on campus and the best, most friendly and speedy service of all the coffee carts/shops at UCSD. The line keeps moving quickly to let us get to class on time and it's all done with a smile. Great pastries, teas and coffees. Small but tasty sandwiches and salads. Ask for their Espresso Pass for a buy 10, get 1 free espresso or chai. They have indoor seating too!
Of all the coffee spots on campus, this has to be my favorite. They consistently have the best espresso and keep the line a-movin. Good pastries, nice folks and one of the few places that I feel I'm getting real coffee.
If this shop ever closes, it’ll be a real loss for the campus.
For sure the best coffee on campus. Great service and super fast. Good spot to slow down and take a sip.
Best coffee on campus and in La Jolla, really. I wish they had longer hours! The owners are really friendly and they have great prices too.
I exclusively drink matcha (no coffee) and this matcha is SHOCKINGLY good. Please never change whatever matcha powder you’re using 🍵🫶🏻 every other cafe on campus has borderline undrinkable matcha but this stuff is so good I drink it with zero added syrups or flavorings.
Good espresso and brewed coffee options! Highly recommend :)
Best place to get coffee on campus at UCSD. The coffee and food are great quality, the service is amazing. I always get my food or drink very quickly and they always taste great. The owners are friendly and know how to run a great business that I'll always come back to. I highly recommend this place whenever you need a pick me up or a quick bite to eat on campus.
I really like this charming corner of campus. Nice tables to have your coffee outside, breakfast or even lunch. They have a lot of healthy snacks as well as pastries. They also know how to prepare a good affordable coffee. The staff is really nice and always in good mood. As a said, my favorite coffee spot on campus!
Matcha tasted like grass but I liked the Banana Bread
I love Art of Espresso - the prices are really good and they have great drink and pastry options. The only downside is that it is that it is a coffee cart so there is only outdoor seating which is not great for all weather or when it is just too cold outside. But other than that they have great quality coffee and I love their smoothies!
I love this place. Great selection of exotic coffee from all over the world. And it's not too expensive. For $1.75 you can get a large cup of coffee. Lots of other caffeinated beverages and snacks are available too. The owner and staff are really friendly, they once made me a cup of coffee before business hours when I was wandering around aimlessly trying to get my daily caffeine fix. That type of go the extra mile service means a lot, and I will definitely be a customer for life!
They offer a variety of delicious coffee and tea flavors, along with tasty pastries and snacks. Because of this, some items can be a bit on the pricey side, but the quality and excellent employees more than make up for it. Miles above the rest of the coffee places around campus.

Matcha Latte is probably the best on campus
Matcha Latte is probably the best on campus
Best espresso/coffee spot on campus. Great place that is outdoors to relax and people watch or have great debates and discussion. They also have decent food sandwiches, bagels, and pastries.
Long line and crowded seating. matcha is hit or miss, sometimes it’s good sometimes it’s just milky. i had to give inflate the score tho because this is definitely the best matcha on campus

Got the blueberry scones & iced tea. Quality is decent, scones was moist. This place is cheaper than normal cafe, located in the middle of campus, great location! The staff are super nice!!
