This hidden gem is such great value, huge choice of dishes and serves delicious food. It caters brilliantly for vegetarians. Great build your own veggie burger and the vegetarian Sunday lunch is amazing value, super yummy with so many perfectly cooked fresh veggies. The staff are all so friendly and helpful with adding or taking off things you don’t like. It’s become a real favorite of ours living here, when you want delicious pub grub style food. It also has tapas, salads, paella, quesadillas. There is something for everyone. Highly recommended 💕

If you are looking for a nice family run place with good dishes at reasonable prices then this is the place. AND you can even get a very good Paella for ONE person if ordered on the day before! The interior is a bit selfmade but with the right food and drinks it becomes a cozy place to be. Apparently popular among Brits. Table reservation recommended.

Great little place. It is really well decorated and the food is of excellent quality. We ate the first day in the hotel and there is no comparison. The food is definitely homemade and with care. My son, who is a fussy eater normally, really liked it. I had the Mahon cheese and Parma ham baguette and it was first class, my wife had the chicken and bacon baguette and she was equally impressed. On top of the food, Carmen, the person who served us, was brilliant - she really took the time to speak to us like we had been coming there for years. Such an amazing restaurant and well worth the trip if you are not nearby. If you’re staying at the Club de Sol then you have no excuse to not make a visit.

Brilliant little place, called in for breakfast at about 14:00, no problem as do snacks till 17:00. Tasty, well cooked and hot! Proper toasted cheese and ham for the wife very nice. Booked an evening table for Friday as the menu looked great.

Amazing food and service. We ate here a few nights while staying at the Club Del Sol hotel opposite. Colin & Carmin are amazing, couldn't be more accommodating and had the F1 and football on in the bar which was full and fun. Well done guys, great place

Wow, what a fantastic selection of tempting treats on the menu, from a bit of a snack to a hearty full blown meal, we ordered 3 different meals and they all came beautifully presented and well cooked, lovely family, and especially lovely food. Well worth a visit, but be prepared as you will want to go back again.

What a wonderful restaurant. Friendly staff speak excellent English. Food was great. I had local Mallorcan dish aubergines tomatoes potatoes in wonderful sauce can highly recommend it. My husband had Mallorcan pizza the best he has had. Bottle of white house wine from Navarre region fantastic and only €11 we will be going again

A family run hideaway. We went there for Sunday lunch which was excellent and all staff so friendly and attentive. Our dog was welcomed and spoilt too. Will be back for sure.

Great experience! We came a group of 6 and each ordered something different. I was worried at first because there’s a ton of options on the menu - from local seafood and pizza to Indian - usually such variety is a warning sign. But everything was really great - looked and tasted impressive. Made us real happy after a long trip! Plus, it’s a family business! Definitely recommend.

Auf dem Weg von Cala Ratjada zum Cap de Formentor haben wir hier unseren Zwischenstopp gemacht. Das Restaurant ist von außen super unscheinbar und liegt mitten in einem privaten Wohnkomplex, ist aber von extern zugänglich. Bei der ausschließlich englisch- und spanischsprachigen Speisekarte ist für jeden etwas dabei. Wir hatten Gambas am Spieß mit Speck ummantelt (eine echte Augenweide), Gambas in der Pfanne mit Öl und Knoblauch und ein Rotbarschfilet. Es war ein Gedicht! Der Service war sehr freundlich und engagiert. Auch hier ist zu beachten, dass ausschließlich Englisch und Spanisch gesprochen wird. Beim nächsten Mal kommen wir gern wieder - unserer Meinung nach ein echter Geheimtipp!!!

Wir waren am 03.06.2023 um 17 Uhr nachmittags dort Haben ein Tisch für ein Paar + Sohnemann Bekommen. Bedienung war Freundlich trotz meine Schlechte Englisch Kenntnisse und haben trotzdem zu unsere Wunschbestellung bekommen. Das Essen war sehr Lecker sogar Leckerer als Viele andere Restaurants, Die Portionen waren Groß. Die Rechnung war auch gleich wie die Speisekarte. Ohne Versteckte Kosten. Unser Essen Hat ca. 47.- gekostet inkl 2 Getränke. Kleine Info : Speisekarte ist nur in Englisch und die Bedienung Sprechen kein Deutsch. Fazit : Hier ist man gut aufgehoben, Man wird Hier NICHT Angezockt. Vielen Dank für die Gerichte und wir kommen wieder Vorbei :) Von uns Gibt's Eine Klare Empfehlung bzw als ein Kleiner Geheimtipp.

If lunch or dinner, this is the place to be! Surprisingly good restaurant within the hotel area. Delicious food and good service with a "like at home" feeling. It's rather british fusion style cuisine. Don't be afraid of Carmen, she is actually really nice! We've been here multiple times for lunch as well as dinner. The sandwiches (southern style chicken) is probably the best bang for the money! I can recommend the lamb and the Mediterranean skewer! Thanks for having us daily for the past few days. It's been a pleasure. Recommended!

We were very lucky to get a table here last night without a booking. It was pretty much fully booked. The food was really good. I had a blue cheese burger which was clearly home made and delicious with proper hand cut chips. My wife had tempura prawns which were also delicious. We have booked for two further nights as it was so good. Definitely worth trying and book in advance as we saw a fair number of people turned away.

Wir sind hier in polença im Urlaub und habe zufällig diese Restaurant gefunden, und dachten wir probieren es einfach mal aus! Und wurde keinesfalls enttäuscht!!! Ambiente war wirklich klasse alle sehr herzlich und an den Sonntagen gibt es live Musik! Am heutigen Sontag spielte Emma Rossi und es war einfach klasse!! Und das Essen war spitze!! Preis Leistung kaum zu schlagen! Nur zu empfehlen!

I am a huge fan of this place. The food is really really good and the atmosphere is unique. You can feel the love they have put into this place. The patio with all the flowers, plants and little lights is so cute. I can only recommend you to come here. It’s most definitely my favorite restaurant in this area. P.s. Fantastic food, service and atmosphere! Myself, wife and the young family arrived on a Tuesday for a first holiday dinner and what a pleasant surprise it was. Incredible food, service from Carmin (sorry if I’ve misspelled your name) and some amazing live singers made our first night spectacular. We returned there this evening for an evening better meal. Highly recommended, absolute gem of a place! Huge thanks!

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und der Service super zuvorkommend. Mir wurde tatsächlich eine Paella mit Fisch zubereitet, obwohl diese nicht auf der Karte stand. Die Preise sind normal - nicht so überteuert wie in anderen Restaurants in der Nähe und geschmacklich wirklich Klasse. Ich kann es definitiv nur empfehlen!

My partner and i booked b + b in the hotel and was recommended the hideaway before we came..it sits in its own grounds beside block 2 and opposite block 5...has a pool in summer...does live sports and has entertainment on ....Excellent atmosphere...really friendly staff especially carmen who is a sweetheart!! Loved it!! Highly recommended for club del sol customers!! Especially as there is nowhere else nearby xx

Outstanding. Cannot recommend this beautiful family run restaurant enough. We stayed for 2 weeks at Club del Sol so most nights had dinner at the Hideaway. Service gets 10/10, food was off the scale with Sharon producing with her daughter dishes of such a high standard I challenge anyone to find better or better priced. The location is lovely the service by Eduardo and Carmen is warm welcoming and lovely. The food is just superb we eat here at least a couple of times when we are staying at Club Del Sol even though we are all inclusive, the steaks are the best I’ve ever had in Mallorca tender and tasty and perfectly cooked by Sharon. On our last night I had the Saffron Lamb shoulder it was out of this world, next time I’m there must ask for the recipe because I cannot replicate it st home. If you are staying at Club Del Sol room only this place is heaven sent for you, if you are all inclusive you must go for dinner

Best meal I've had in Puerto Pollensa this holiday! We ordered lots of different food and all of it was top class. Definitely recommend a must if you are in the area. Staff are also super friendly and this is a lovely location.

Small, family friendly restaurant with an extensive menu which caters to many tastes. Great seafood (of course) served on a patio which rings to the sweet sound of birds roosting in the nearby foliage.

Two meals so far and they’ve both been exceptional. Small and friendly with a lovely family that run it. We’ve been made very welcome and can’t wait to go back. Some really lovely vegetarian options.

What a gem! Great atmosphere, very good quality food and a super friendly team. We spent hours here after a coastal walk in the North. We had an amazing roast dinner and stayed for a few rounds of pool. Lovely Sunday, we will be returning for sure!

We were initially put off by the pictures from the menu and the board outside the restaurant was tatty and unappealing. However I read the amazing reviews and thought we’d give it a try. Oh my word, our meal, the service, and the quaint and quirky atmosphere was unbelievable. All four meals were 10 out of 10. Went back a second time and again, amazing food. The family who run it are friendly and nothing is any trouble. I’d highly recommend this place, it’s a real hidden gem!

A Wonderful Hidden Gem in Port de Pollença My wife and I decided to have dinner at The Hide Away on Thursday evening. Although I've been for drinks before, this was my first time eating there. My wife had visited with friends earlier in the year and recommended it. The restaurant truly lives up to its name. It’s beautifully tucked away behind the Club Del Sol apartments, creating a peaceful escape. We sat on the terrace, which has a lovely, intimate atmosphere enhanced by the surrounding plants. The service was excellent; a very pleasant young lady served us promptly and made us feel very welcome. For our main courses, I ordered the Pineapple with Curried Chicken, and my wife chose the Chicken Tikka Skewer. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. We noticed that all the dishes being brought out to other tables looked equally impressive. The flavours in our meals were fantastic and perfectly balanced. Considering the quality of the food and the lovely setting, the price was very reasonable, including our drinks. Overall, it was a great experience. We will definitely be returning as we saw several other dishes on the menu that we are eager to try. Highly recommended.

Just been to The Hideaway for a second visit whilst staying at the Club Del Sol. Food was delicious. My partner and I both had the honey and garlic chicken. Didn't want it to end. My only gripe would be desserts. An apple crumble & custard would have gone down a treat but all the desserts were ice creams and we're hot dessert people. That said will probably go there for another visit before the end of our holiday as the food is just so good.

this outdoor restaurant had a great atmosphere with fairy lights. the food wasn’t life changing but it was good. the english staff caught us by surprise but were lovely

We visited three times as we were staying at the adjacent Club de Sol. Twice for lunch and once for dinner. Great food and portion sizes every time. The fajita tower and chicken kebab were winners. Also the drinks were lovely and everything was fairly priced. Cosy venue with games to play as you wait. Even nicer at night with the lighting. Best to book for the evening. We appreciated the waitress finding us a table on a busy evening even tho we hadn’t booked. Service was fine - we were served by the same waitress each time. The service on our final lunch was strangely distant and cold. Not sure why, maybe just a bad day but it made us feel a bit unwelcome which is a shame. But once again the food was lovely. We’d come back

El sitio es acogedor y la comida excelente. Probamos los boquerones fritos y las patatas bravas y como principales la torre de fajitas y el gallo. Realmente delicioso. Lo único que al tener muchos árboles había hormigas por todo y eso provocó un poco de discomfort. Aparte de eso repetiría.

Family-run restaurant with a nice atmosphere. We waited 20 minutes to place an order, then 45 minutes for the food. We may have been unlucky, but the place wasn't particularly busy. Unfortunately the food was bland. This place has potential, but they need to step up their game.

Ausschließlich Tappas bestellt, waren soweit ok. Service war überfordert, zu wenig Personal für zu viele Gäste. Manche Tappas waren nicht bestellbar, da schon aus! The food was quite nice and service was good. However, it was a very casual, family atmosphere as the restaurant is in a resort. Unfortunately, there was lots of mosquitos, we would recommend taking repellent.

Alle frittierten Sachen waren leider nicht knusprig. Bedienung. Die Muscheln schmeckten überhaupt nicht. Die Camarones al ajillo schwimmen im Öl und der Knoblauch war nicht genug frittiert.

This place has the atmosphere of a small local pub in the middle of nowhere, which is great. I loved watching football here and drinking beer in the evening. But at lunch, some of the waiters were inattentive and grumpy, and some of the dishes were very questionable (like the salad without dressing). But the burgers and pizza are ok.

Great food sadly let down by "surly" attitude by staff. Total disregard for requests to alter temperature, lower music levels. Pity.

We decided to book a table here based on the reviews and we walked here from our hotel further in pollensa, around 25 mins, bear in mind that there’s no footpaths separated from the road so I wouldn’t feel safe at all walking with small children. There is a bus stop outside however which was a blessing as walking back to pollensa on an unlit main road with no footpaths didn’t feel like the safest option. Not sure of the reviews for the great service and food as it was nothing more than just ok. Greeted by a waitress who didn’t exactly shine with enthusiasm, both with greeting us and serving for drinks and food. Sometimes but not always a little small talk and a friendly face is all it takes to make you feel welcomed, we didn’t get that vibe from any staff member unfortunately. Sat outside to eat as was nearly everyone else, there seemed to be a lot of flies and mosquitoes around, more noticeable than other places we’ve eaten at outside. The food although there was nothing wrong with, it wasn’t anything special at all. I’m sure other restaurants would easily match for quality and price. We paid around 90 euros for 3 people for food and a few beers. An honest opinion and not a dig at the restaurant itself, but for the price, quality and service we wouldn’t choose to go here again. A table has to be booked in advance also.

If this is a 4,6 stars, then I'm the pope. We were incredibly hungry, so when we saw this restaurant next to our hotel (that didn't serve any more food at 21:00) it felt like heaven to find an open restaurant with such a high google review score. Little did we know.. I maybe eat out twice a week. But I feel comfortable to say this was the worst restaurant I've eaten at in a few years. It started at our entrance. We were warned that food would take long, about 40 minutes. The joke was on us when we could place our order after 30 minutes, after which the food clock started running. The waitress said maybe bread could be served fast, to tackle our most urgent hunger. So we took our gamble. We lost our money. Some lowlights: - the menu had a large sign that said that customers that have a reservation get served before walk-ins - there was a home-printed peace of paper with a background story from a printer that was out of ink, fully shat on by a very large bird, who had probably had just eaten at the restaurant itself. This peace of paper (sorry for not including a picture) would ironically be the best and shortest summary of the restaurant itself - the ambiance was cold - the people were the opposite of fun despite our above average jokes - the floor was artificial grass - there was an army of mosquitos, trained to bully guests that dared to have a good time - the toilets were full of mold Then the food and drinks. An individual review per item: Drinks - we chose the pina coladas because we felt this could tackle some of our most dire humanitarian needs. It was an ice bath with a hint of pineapple, but it was most certainly not a pina colada - we also had the "hideaway bellini", which was probably named this way because at the first sip, ones feels the urge to hide away, just as the staff seemed to do the entire evening Starters - the bread and aioli was the sole of an army booth, that was baked probably in the summer of 2024. The aioli was okay, but store-bought, not freshly made - the Spanisch charcuterie board was gor sure from a plastic package from a supermarket that cost the restaurant max 2 euros, even though the board was 20. Every self-respecting Spanish person would start a war over this abomination. Maybe we could have expected this, since the place was run by an understaffed group of British people - we had two different types of burgers. One with bacon. It was not bacon. It looked, felt and tasted like the type of rubber band one uses at the gym to support your knees if you can't do a pull-up - the pizza would start another war with every Italian known to man, so we're now basically at world war three since Britain, Spain and Italy are fighting. The crust was probably made from the earlier mentioned shoesole, rolled into a large disc. The cheese was a factory made/plastic blend that made my poop go fluid within record tempo. I usually eat everything. Except of course cilantro. But after this meal, we tried to hide half the burger that we didn't finish underneath the half pizza we didn't finish. Another plate was stacked with leftover 'bacon', fries and all the other garbage we didn't eat. Again, the joke was on us when they converted our large pile of uneaten waste into a take-away box. We had a good laugh about the idea that they found our half burger beneath the half pizza when preparing the take-away box. That's why I give 3 stars for ambiance. Currently we are enjoying a proper pint back at the hotel, and we slowly start to feel human again, so no need to worry about us. But we strongly feel the urge to warn every human with taste buds to avoid this place. But the least we can do is move the rating to a more fair representation of what you can expect. This is not run by people with a love for food or hospitality, which is okay. But maybe just stick to what you got: offer pints and fish & chips. Or no food at all. Just beers. Also no cocktails. It would save a lot of people of having a bad night on their holiday.

The first time was good.So we went back a second time. But after my salad fell on the floor in the kitchen, they still packed it up for me. And didn’t tell me anything! Please don’t do this again!
