What a gem of a restaurant! We stumbled upon this place by chance. The outdoor terrace offers a beautiful view of the mountains. Inside, there's no view, but it's cozy. We were here for lunch in June 2022 and were the only customers! That was strange, because the food is fantastic. The service was incredibly friendly. We felt like we were in Italy, sitting there on that mountain with the four of us, with waiters and a chef to ourselves. But we naturally wish the restaurant had many more customers, so that's why I'm writing this recent review, so that many more people will be persuaded to come and enjoy the delicious dishes. The prices are more than reasonable, so feel free to explore the menu. The vino della casa was good and inexpensive: half a liter for five euros. We found the dishes so interesting that we chose several different dishes and shared them: we had the Antipasti, which turned out to be a huge plate of delicious local meats and a plate of sun-dried tomatoes, candied onions, and porcini mushrooms. We also had the Tomino su Vellutata di Porcini, skipped the pasta, and opted for Trippa alla Parmigiana, Cotechino con Mexicanos, Tagliata di Cervo ai Fungi porcini, and several contorni: Anelli di Cipolle, Verdure in tempura, Peperonata, and Carciofino alla Romana. I tried this restaurant for lunch after a hike in the area. It's a well-maintained restaurant with friendly, knowledgeable staff. The cuisine is high-quality, and the ingredients are mostly local. The wine list is excellent, and I must say the bulk wine is also worth it. Recommended.

Discovered by chance... very, very satisfied. The dishes are generous and delicious. I recommend the pasta with venison ragù and the venison steak, excellent, as are the mushrooms on the side. And the grandmother's meatballs are also delicious. The staff are very kind and polite, and above all helpful because my family and I arrived without a reservation and around 2 pm, so they were very accommodating. The place is also very welcoming and quiet. Definitely worth trying again!

A lovely place with a beautiful view. Fast and friendly service. We ordered a platter of cured meats and cured meats, tagliatelle with venison ragù, polenta with cheeses, tagliolini with butter, sage, and poppy seeds, and tagliolini with porcini mushrooms. All dishes were generous and flavorful. For dessert, two delicious tiramisu and a Sacher torte, a little dry but not bad. Total: about €70 I'll be back.

I knew this restaurant from past visits. It's decorated like a mountain cabin, with a beautiful outdoor terrace perfect for summer dining. I returned after these Covid-19 periods, and I must say it's improved, both in terms of the variety of dishes and the wine list. Among the first courses, we really enjoyed the garganelli with wild boar ragù and the lamb agnolotti with herbs. For the second courses, the kid casserole (it's Easter time) and the sautéed mushrooms were excellent. We chose a unique wine, the "Vespolina" from the Novara hills. Service was prompt and courteous. Prices were absolutely reasonable.

Traditional, family-style cuisine, in keeping with the setting. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is courteous and attentive. The menu is interesting, though only a couple of dishes could be improved. The wine list is limited but still satisfying. We're always happy to return!

Nice place, but I won't be back. The artichokes served as a side dish were taken from a jar and drained... Cheeses should be served at room temperature, straight from the refrigerator... The meat and wine were good. Polenta...in my opinion, you need to improve... Excellent service. Nice place.
