Stopped here for a quick breakfast around 10am on a Tuesday. We were very happy with everything! I had a delicious matcha coco limeade (amazing!), chicken empanada and manchego cheese croquette with a side of cassava fries (very good, fluffy interior and crunchy outside). My husband had an egg and cheese wrap, the eggs were fluffy, there were 3 kinds of cheese AND a breaded and fried manchego croquette in the wrap, it tasted gourmet, very flavorful. It came with some fruit and a bean salad, which were delightful extras. The outdoor seating area is really nice with large ceiling fans. They also sell some easy grab and go drinks and foods like prepared beach lunch boxes. I noticed they also had some delicious looking desserts including cheesecake but I didn't get to try those. Additionally, they sell some little useful items like biobay safe sunscreen and bug spray produced nearby in PR. They also sell Rum that is made in Vieques. Definitely stop in if you're Vieques!
Restaurante Bili is definitely a very popular restaurant, in a bustling part of town; and it tends to be busy each and every day (for dinner) that they are open!! So, I say all this to say - make sure to make a reservation if you’d like to avoid a long wait &/or disappointment with there not being a table available. We were extremely lucky to have gotten a table with a relatively short wait on a busy evening. Likely because it was within the last hour of the restaurant’s opening!! Now - on to the best part… the FOOD! The creamy pumpkin soup with an arepa was really delicious!!! Full of flavour, prepared with passion and love and I would definitely go back for more! For our mains, my sister and I decided to both have the seasonal fresh caught fish with Puerto Rican yellow rice - YUMMMM! My only regret is that the fish was not big enough… I would have loved MORE! Overall this was a great dining experience.
Yummy! Everything from the juices to the empanadas are homemade daily. The location can't be beat. Breakfast can get a little chaotic but it's worth the wait. Delicious! Can't wait to go back.
Best lunch in Vieques. Great food by local Puerto Rican Chef Eva Bolívar who cooked with her abuela before attending the Culinary Institute of America. Bili is a husband and wife operation that welcomes guests, has outdoor/indoor seating, and take-out items for the beach. We had mahi mahi empanada, ciabatta sandwich, and conch salad. Would have gone back for more, but not open every day.
NOT temporarily closed! We had the delicious bean salad today, as well as the black bean dip, croquetas de manchego and my husband the mahi mahi empanada. All the food was fresh and delicious!! Very kind owners too. Much better priced food than the overrated banana’s next door.
Absolutely recommend Restaurante Bili! We got right in at 6:30 on a Tuesday. The staff was super friendly and attentive without making us feel rushed. We had the appetizer sampler which was three small bites of each option which was so good and perfect for two people. I wish they bottled the chimichurri they have with the Empanadas! The cod fritters are SO good and not too fishy. Great for kids who like fish sticks. The mofongo bite - delightful. The corn and cheese bites with tomato jelly are the sweet treat of the plate. We also ordered the lobster, as its caught locally, and did NOT regret it! Grilled to perfection, juicy on the inside and served with lime and butter. It was large enough for two people to split, as well as the portions of rice and beans. The rice was cooked to perfection and the beans you could tell had been cooked low and slow, so much flavor! We also saw that the chef cooking our lobster was a woman, even better! ;) Grilled plantains came with the chef as well and were the perfect dessert. So, compliments to the chef it was absolutely delicious! Dont sleep on this spot.
We really enjoyed our meal! The staff was so nice and there are lots of options for people who don’t feel like red meat. I had crab pasta and my husband had a great chicken dish. The drinks were good too.
Ate twice here while visiting. Relaxed vibe, kind and friendly staff, nice drinks and delicious food. I eat a plant based diet which limited my options, but I found 2-3 great choices there, and all were made with care (not just meat dishes without the meat). The vegetarian paella was especially delicious! I heard the seafood one was too. Highly recommend.
Cute place, enjoyed the pairing of the generous meat omelette with high-quality yuca and tapioca chips in the Tripleta Omeletta. The yuca fries were really good with their mayonnaise dip! Their self-made hot sauce is packed with heat and a sour punch, providing plenty of kicks. Smoothie and juices were good too, but where this place loses out is in their spinach toast (they ran out of avocados), which were too salty and overly rich. Overall, a nice place for a relaxing brunch near the beach.
We were lucky enough to stay on this beautiful island for about a week eating at a different restaurant every time we ate. This was our overall favorite restaurant in Vieques. Absolutely delicious food, friendly service and a beautiful view of the beach in front. Everything we ordered tasted superb. Thankyou, Bili for making our stay better!

We arrived in Vieques late on a weekend and happened to stumble upon this spot by chance, as many other restaurants were closed. We’re so glad we did! Everything—from the food to the service was absolutely wonderful. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. The highlight of our meal was without a doubt the grilled lobster—hands down the best either of us has ever had! If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and make sure to stop by.
The food was absolutely incredible — we got the appetizer sampler, chicken & mofongo, paella puertorriqueña, the sangría, & the piña colada tres leches cake. The chicken was easily one of the best pieces I’ve ever had — you can taste the char of the grill & it was so moist and flavorful. Could not recommend Restaurante Bili enough!!
Amazing service. Food is good. We got the sampler and tostones con ensalada de carrucho. Bacalaitos is my favorite. Very flavorful. Then chicken empanadas is my second favorite. I like the chimichurri sauce a lot. I like appetizers better than entree. Grilled lobster and whole red snapper are good, but not the best I’ve had.
This is the spot if you want fresh fruit drinks, not anything from concentrate or from a syrup. The service was fast and friendly, and the environment was light and relaxed. They had a good menu that anyone could find something that they would like. I got a Virgin Pina Colada, and it was absolutely delicious. The establishment had one of the cleaner bathrooms. Their coffee was and good. It's close to everything in Esperanza.
The coffee is amazing here! When you ask for milk in the side for your coffee, they serve it warm ❤️. We had breakfast and lunch here and loved everything we tried. We had the boricoa omelette with ciabatta toast and boy was it big and packed with flavor! I also loved their mofonguitos de yucca with cilantro aioli. We ordered the traditional omelette breakfast to go and that was more of the size I was expecting for an omelette. I will say, they did give me one less ciabatta bread than the day before when I sat down to eat. I was sad about that because the toast is delicious. For lunch we had the mahi mahi wrap with the sweet plantain chutney with yucca fries and that was out of this world good! My fiance has the chicken with garlic cream and that was also super delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Their smoothie are also super delicious, fresh, and not overly sugary. I wish I would've had time to have their dinner. I'm pretty sure we would've enjoyed it as well.

Fácilmente uno de los mejores restaurantes en Puerto Rico. Riquísimo todo y servicio estelar preñao de buenas vibras. Pedí la paella vegetariana y el mahi con majado de viandas y varios espresso martinis en el curso de dos días. Exquisito todooooo

Wonderful food and great service in paradise. While other restaurants (mostly overpriced) in Vieques frankly are subpar. Bili restaurant has fresh ingredients, delicious and creative dishes and a caring staff. Nuestra familia está agradecida y feliz de habernos topado con este gran restaurante, “sin querer queriendo”!
