We zijn dit restaurant bij toeval tegengekomen en het bleek helemaal vol gereserveerd te zijn. Gelukkig was de gastheer ontzettend vriendelijk en deed echt moeite om toch nog een tafeltje voor ons te regelen en met succes! De tapas waren heerlijk, met verrassende smaken. De sfeer was gezellig en ontspannen, en de locatie is erg leuk, perfect voor een avondje uit. Tip: reserveer op tijd, want het is duidelijk een populaire plek en terecht!

We komen al jarenlang in Spanje en hebben in heel wat tapaszaken gegeten, maar dit restaurant van Mike en zijn vrouw is echt een klasse apart. Tijdens onze vakantie zijn we er twee keer gaan eten, en beide keren was het simpelweg fantastisch! De sfeer is warm en uitnodigend, je voelt je meteen welkom. De bediening is oprecht vriendelijk en attent, en het eten… ongeëvenaard. Alles supervers, rijk van smaak en verrassend betaalbaar. Zelfs toen het de tweede keer helemaal vol zat, wist Mike toch nog een tafeltje voor ons te regelen – wat een service! Dit is zonder twijfel een van de allerbeste tapasrestaurants die we ooit hebben bezocht. Een absolute parel – hier móet je gewoon heen!

Väldigt bra tapas-ställe. Vällagade och väl tilltagna tapasrätter. Vi beställde in två stycken var vilket var på gränsen att vara för mycket. Är du hungrig blir det lagom dock. Hur som helst, ligger fint i hamnen. Trevlig personal.

The portions are quite generous, so if you want to try several dishes, it’s a good idea to share. The ingredients were high-quality, and the flavors were spot on. We found this little restaurant on Google maps and were curious how it had maintained a 5 star rating after so many reviews. Well after visiting the restaurant and having a meal it's clear how they've achieved this! The food was spectacular, we had the chorizo in red wine sauce, beef tenderloin, tuna tapas along with some other regional dishes, all of which were exceptional! The service from all the waiting staff was second to none and were always on hand to help with suggestions for items off the menu or just to make sure we had everything we needed. We'll certainly go back again and recommend Alma's restaurant to everyone.

Einen netten Abend mit netten Menschen hier verbracht und die Empfehlung hierhin zu kommen, war wirklich gut. Die Bedienungen waren freundlich, zügig und zuvorkommend. Das Essen (wenn auch für spanische Verhältnisse etwas überteuert) war exzellent. Zum Abend werden ausschließlich Tapas (warm und kalt, einzeln oder im Meter) angeboten - die Speisekarte ist ausreichend und ideenreich. Die Lage direkt am Jachthafen ist traumhaft. Das Lokal selbst ist (spanisch typisch) klein und einladend. Ein barrierefreier Zugang (auch zur Toilette) ist gegeben.

Alright... Where should I start. Just arrived today in Málaga for a short getaway visiting a friend in Fuengirola. So he recommended a couple of places to see while I'm exploring the city when he's working. That's how I ended up in this HIDDEN GEM. Honestly... Just had an easy late afternoon lunch, but what an experience omg. How the place decorated, the ambience, the music... Just as the restaurant name said. Alma = SOUL. This place is just healing your soul, like we are living in this hamster wheel and this place just relaxing your SOUL. And I left the food and service to the end. The food... As I said just wanted something light, nothing heavy. Is a tapas place and I'm sure nobody will be disappointed here. So ordered a bread with alioli and some mushrooms filled with brie cheese. So nothing special, but when I got my food... Nice toasted bread comes with some nice herb oil on it, one of the best alioli I had in Spain in general plus some nice green olives. I love mushroom sooo... Well seasoned and cooked mushrooms with the lovely brie cheese. Simple but so so delicious dishes. And the service... Like when you eating home with your FAMILY!!! They even put the teddy bear on my table as I was visiting alone. Such an amazing gesture. And the last one. I made so many reviews already but never posted a pic from a toilet 🤣🤣 but for me it's just as the place it is, something different and special. I'll definitely be back in the following days to try some more. Thank you guys for this unique experience I haven't had long time. All the best. 10⭐

We had an wonderfull evening, the view into the port and the nice little restaurant was perfect. The service was really good, really attentive and really passionate about his restaurant. The Tapas where great, a mix of classic Tapas and some modern interpretations. We had the alcohol free cocktails, the fresh minty was so good. Unfortunate it was our last evening in Spain, so we couldn't come back and try more delicious Tapas

We agree with many of the other reviews - this is without doubt, a 5 star restaurant! We were greeted by the owner who was so lovely and friendly and instantly made us feel so welcome. The setting is lovely as you get to sit and watch the boats in the harbour whilst enjoying some incredible food! The 1 meter tapas board is an absolute must! Every piece of food we ate was divine and we would 100% go back. As it’s so popular, you need to message the number and book a few days ahead but it is so worth it! A truly fantastic experience from start to end.

First time eating here. Owner/server and so attentive and informative with the food and wine pairing for each course! I would recommend the smoked salmon. Wings.( which are t your traditional wings) the house bbq sauce was flavourful and not spicy. The beet salad. The sliders. Again not traditional. It was all amazing.

Yep, it is worth all the overwhelmingly positive reviews. Atmosphere is cozy, tapases are crazy tasty and there is nothing to complain about service. Took the meter of tapases to share with my friend and we were not dissapointed. I strongly recommend this place. Booking a table beforehand is good idea to secure place in this wonderful restaurant!

Gorgeous food, beautiful view! I had the beetroot salad and the goats cheese & pear compote sandwich - both absolutely delicious. They also had one of the nicest Rooibos teas I’ve ever had the pleasure of drinking.

The food is a modern twist on traditional tapas and you will not be disappointed, portions are large and can easily be shared with 2 or even 3 people, we had 8 dishes for 3 of us and it was plenty accompanied with a bottle of wine for under €100. Good quality, fresh produce, great service and passion from the owner and lovely atmosphere. Will be back for sure for another experience, maybe trying the metre long tapas…

Super friendly and very attentive staff, who clearly display all the attributes you would hope for in a restaurant worker. The owner we spoke with is rightly very proud of what he, his wife and his business partners have achieved. What an incredible surprise. Tried their steak in red wine sauce — pure perfection. The meat was tender, juicy, full of flavor 🤤. Also had the carpaccio and fries, everything felt homemade and carefully prepared. It’s a small, cozy place with amazing service and a great vibe. The Alma Fuengirola in the marina is a super fine restaurant where you can eat very well.... They are very fine tapas.... Portions are very well done and the quality is very good! The staff are friendly, courteous and very attentive. If you can't make up your mind, they are very helpful. Simply TOP! Always worth a visit.

The best place to eat and drink in Fuengirola marina. It's owned and run by a lovely couple who create super friendly and welcome atmosphere. From the very first step into the restaurant, you can feel that they do their best to make you feel comfortable and that you have everything you need. It's very rare to feel this kind of approach at restaurants these days. The food is of the highest quality. They advertise themselves as a tapas and drinks restaurant, but the portions are pretty big so it's enough to order 2-3 tapas per person to eat one's fill. I was here with my husband. We ordered chorizo in wine, buratta salad, lemon tart, garden hummus - everything was delicious. We also celebrated here our first wedding anniversary. We were welcomed with surprise glasses of champagne and we got exactly the table we asked for, the best one, by the water (even though they technically don't reserve specific tables). We felt wonderful and we are very grareful for creating this atmosphere for us.

This place is an absolute gem! The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, creating a truly warm and wonderful atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The food is nothing short of spectacular – every dish is full of flavor and beautifully prepared. And as if that wasn’t enough, the view of the port is simply breathtaking, making the whole experience unforgettable. I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough!

First Class from start to finish ~ would give 6*’s if I could, because from the minute we entered this restaurant to the minute we left it was excellent. The food, the service and the setting. We can see that the owners are very hands on and clearly passionate about their restaurant. There were four of us and we ordered two dishes each with two salads to share, with some wine & sangria - the bill was reasonable and worth every euro! Safe to say this is the best Tapas I’ve had in Spain and I highly recommend this restaurant to all! Thank you for a truly memorable night and such excellent food.

Lovely atmosphere at this bar where the owners /staff really look after you well. Very friendly and welcoming . The tapas are large tapas to share, really well presented and delicious ! Lovely sunny terrace and nicely decorated inside too. Toilets were spotless .....always a good sign ! We went for lunch but the breakfast menu looks good too !

Amazing food and service! We visited in late September with a reservation, which I recommend as it’s a popular place. Our table was outside which was very romantic and cute. The owner came to introduce himself and the concept of Alma, and gave us some tips to have the best experience. The food was delicious and great portion sizes, the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. The service was great! We had a wonderful time and would recommend and looking forward to coming back!

We visited Alma for lunch in December after seeing all the beautiful posts about their tapas – and wow, what you see in the photos is exactly what you get! The food was incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented. Their tapas board is highly recommended for lunch. We had also booked a table for New Year’s Eve, and once again all we can say is WOW! The atmosphere, the food, the staff – everything was absolutely top-notch. Truly delicious food, and nothing was missing this evening. Alma is without a doubt our new favorite place in Fuengirola Harbour. If we could give more than 5 stars, we definitely would!

Me ha sorprendido gratamente, las croquetas deberían mejorar, pero el sándwich Alma, las alitas, las mini burger y las patatas fritas...muy ricas.

Restaurante en el puerto de Fuengirola👏 🍽🍽 Fuimos porque las reseñas eran buenas, pero como temíamos es un sitio para guiris, aunque la comida está buena. Pedimos el metro de tapas, tartar de atún, bruschetta Alma, y unos sandwiches. 💶💶De precio medio, pagamos 29€ sin 🍧 y sin . 👩🏽‍🍳👨🏽‍🍳Los camareros son muy atentos y agradables. 🕵🏽‍♀️ Es muy pequeño y tiene una terraza también pequeñita en pleno puerto.

Precioso local con una historia aún más bonita. La comida está muy buena. Son tapas grandes con opciones veganas. Todo muy bien cocinado y súper sano. La decoración también nos gustó, veraniega. Es pequeño, recomiéndo reservar, especialmente para la cena. Llevan poco tiempo, pero llenan.

Comida de batalla. Pollo empanado industrial con pan industrial y mucha floritura que no se come. No son platos que representen calidad. Pero entiendo que para los nordicos sea la ostia.

La comida es escasa y poco elaborada. Los camareros eran atentos y amables.

Una pregunta, ustedes saben el nombre de todas las personas que pasan y comen en su restaurante? Es simplemente una crítica constructiva porque no me gustó, hay que admitir que no se puede gustar a todo el mundo, tampoco hace falta que subáis 6/8 reseñas luego para tapar la mía… pronto os daré otra oportunidad y si me gusta rectifico sin problema
