Had wonderful service at this Dairy Queen location. I had come in after doing some volunteer work looking like a red lobster and in much discomfort needing to cool off. The person at the register was extra sweet and patient as I was deciding what I was going to order which took a tiny bit longer than usual because I was not feeling well due to the sunburn. The service here was grate and so was the food and blizzards we ordered.

Ice cream was delicious even if the service was a bit slow. It was only because they were making everything fresh!

I went at 11pm on a Friday night. Restaurant was clean, well staffed and service was prompt. I had forgotten to pick up a shake and came back at 11:55 (five mins before close) to get one and they graciously made me a delicious banana shake with real banana. If every fast restaurant was like this I would be eating out every day!!! I was helped by juaquin and another gentleman and they are rockstars!!!

I tried the grilled chicken sandwich, and it was one of the best grilled chicken patties that I've ever had! I was able to get a free blizzard by downloading the app. Make sure you download the Texas DQ app. I'm already earning points for my next reward!!

Fresh and quick! We frequent this location often because of their great service. My husband tried the non dairy dilly bar for the 1st time and stated it was quite delicious. It's gluten free and plant based with a tasty vegan coconut ice cream. A great vegan option.

I have been going to Dairy Queen for over 30 years between Texas and Louisiana. Each location is about the same and service is normally slow especially for the steak finger baskets. Today, I happened to stop at this location and was pleasantly surprised. Dine-in is allowed and all the appropriate safety measures are in effect. It’s clean and inviting. They have decorated for Halloween. Best of all, this is the fastest and friendliest service by far that I have received from any Dairy Queen and everything was piping hot! It took about two minutes for my food to be brought to me. I will be coming back.

The cake was delicious! Unfortunately, they were very busy and the poor guy running the only register was rather slow. I had to wait in line for 20+ minutes to let them know I had a cake ready to pick up. Then it took 3 people to find it. But, it was very tasty and I imagine we will get one again!

This and pretty much every other Mayfield DQ I've ever been to is always good. Service is always friendly, orders are accurate nearly 100% of the time and the food is always fresh and hot. It's nice to see people in fast food taking pride in the work they do.

Love coming here for the ice cream and the dude sandwich. Literally a combination made in heaven. The staff here will always go above and beyond and the mail in coupons they send monthly always give me more of an incentive to visit frequently. The cleanliness of the restaurant always makes me want to come back. The only downside is the tiny napkins, but I can easily overlook it because of everything else.

I usually order online and pick it up. Service is always friendly. May not always be the fastest, but everyone has always been happy, helpful, and friendly (and not overly so like other places). The last time an employee even helped me to my car...... In the cold....with a smile.... Its always nice and clean and the manager does everything that the employees do. DQ burgers are always delicious. Not sure if it's the bread or what but In and out, McDonald's an all those wish they could be as good as a hunger buster. Fries are excellent and the turtle pecan cluster blizzards are one of the most fantastic ice cream desserts you will ever have. The service is fast and the drink station is great.

Love the fast service and kind employees. To me, the Mayfield locations feel more home comfort atmosphere. I usually get a M&M’s Blizzard with chocolate ice cream. And it always tastes just as expected - AMAZING! The burgers are great too! The employees are always pleasant and happy to assist. If you need more time, they are patient. If you need help getting something, they offer to help. If something is wrong, they are quick to rectify. All around good location. The only one I go to.

Listen. I don’t normally cruise into Dairy Queen like a rogue snack bandit at 9:30 p.m., but fate (and an early dinner) had other plans. I was starving. I’m talking “might fight a raccoon for a granola bar” levels of hunger. But instead of going feral, I pulled into DQ, because I’m a civilized adult with taste. Now, let me tell you about the girl working the drive-thru—an absolute gem. Friendly, upbeat, and the kind of person who makes you believe in customer service again. She invited me to fill out a survey for free ice cream, and I almost wept. A true prophet of dairy. Then came The Banana Split. I don’t know what celestial farmer plucked that banana, but it was so fresh I half-expected it to still be humming photosynthesis. It was perfectly ripe—none of that sad, mushy nonsense or premature green bitterness. This was The Chosen Banana. And the ice cream? Smooth. Creamy. Like it had just been churned by angels who graduated top of their class at Dessert University. The chocolate sauce hit like a sweet right hook to my tastebuds. Strawberries? More like straw-very-delicious. Pineapple topping? WHO KNEW TROPICAL FRUIT COULD GO THIS HARD? By the time I hit the whipped cream, I was having what can only be described as an out-of-body dessert experience. I sat in my car staring into the void of the Texas night sky, pondering my life choices and wondering why I had been denying myself this masterpiece all along. 5/5. Would drive through again like a midnight sugar goblin. Dairy Queen, you’ve outdone yourself. God bless your bananas.

I rarely eat late nite, but needed some grub tonight. This spot is right next to our hotel and was open late. Walked in, and the staff was busy but quickly greeted me and in meer minutes I had my burger and fries to go. Burger was well made and tasty. Fries were fresh with the perfect crisp. Kudos to the night crew!

Very clean, I ate inside and the moment someone left the staff was at the table cleaning. All the employees were extremely helpful and the food was great.

We swing into this Dairy Queen every once in a while and have always had a great experience. The staff is fantastic, helpful, and super friendly. Our orders are always spot-on and prepared well from the meals to the desserts, and the quality of food has never been an issue. We have had a variety of items from their menu and never have had a complaint. Whether you are popping through the drive-thru or dining in, the service is prompt and the customer service is fantastic. I highly recommend this location.

This is one of my favorite DQ’s because they always has the most helpful staff, and they also take requests on slushy floats, which is not on the menu, but it is easily made. They also have really good french fries at this location will definitely come back again and as always, they offer a military discount.

We were in the area for a volleyball tournament. From San Antonio, I have been to quite a few Dairy Queens. This was by far the best experience my family and I have ever had. The service was amazing super friendly staff was really impressed. They forgot my cheese curds, but it was ok great job to the staff and @Owner

Never been to this DQ before today and I was not disappointed. I had the tacos and they were very good. The shells were fresh and crunchy and the filling was tasty. They have taco sauce, but I don't really care for it, so I took my own. The man who took my order was very nice as well. I know I'll return to this location.

It sucks that my wife doesn’t really like Dairy Queen because that’s all we had in the small town I grew up in so I’ve always loved it. This restaurant was super clean and everyone was super nice. Everyone had a good attitude. It’s really nice to go somewhere like that. Seems like most places in Austin you just get bad attitudes. Makes you not want to go back. Too bad I don’t live nearby or I would go here all the time.

The food is fast food but the order was right and delicious! What is exceptional here is the service. They have people who really seem to like working here and very customer oriented. That's a rare find in fast food do we well definitely come back when the kiddo wants a burger!

We usually visit the drive through. This DQ location has super friendly employees. Their fries are hands down the best of any burger joint! The Hunger Buster and Blizzard combo deal was so good. Sometimes the drive through line is long, but it moves pretty fast. They even offered our dog a pup cup of vanilla ice cream. 😋

This is the best Diary Queen I've ever been to in the Great State of Texas! The food hits, and the service was a fast and friendly experience. The restaurant was clean. My food was delicious, and desserts were done perfectly. I had a chicken strip basket and a blizzard that was upside down thick. If you know, you know. I'm coming back here every time I'm in the area. I have enjoyed myself this much since I worked at DQ as a kid.

This was the cleanest DQ I've ever been in. The staff was great and the blizzards me and my family got was great. We don't normally do fast food, but the experiance we had here will for sure bring us back! My wife took a picture with the owners truck and met the owner. He got us to the store, and the store experience will bring us back. We tried the frosted animal cookie, drumstick, girl scout thin mints and the chocolate brownie extreme.

This Dairy Queen is outstanding in customer service from the minute you walk in. The way this Dairy Queen is currently being managed far exceeds any fast food restaurant in the area in several areas, such as, but not limited to: 1) Very well kept and clean when you walk in. 2) Customers are greeted in a respectful but very friendly way. 3) The employees were all working, but they also seemed to be enjoying themselves... chatting, laughing a little, but were working the entire time... That comes from a leadership manager/management style. 4) Efficiency - My order was ready rather quickly... before I expected it to be. 5) The food was freshly cooked, customized to my preferences, and absolutely delicious. The presentation, or the quality/effort put into making my order, were very noticeable and appreciated. Excellent Dairy Queen and Fast Food Restaurant! 😋

We only use the drive-thru at this location but they are quick and accurate with our orders. Peanut Buster parfait, chocolate dipped cones, Blizzards, they are favorites with our family. It's in a good location but there's been traffic changes recently so be aware of that.

Chocolate milkshake was amazing and the fries were really good too! But the tomato and lettuce on the burger looked like they had been left out or were a day or two old as the texture wasn’t right and neither was the color- and of course the taste of them weren’t great. If veggies had been fresh I would have given five stars.

It's a fast food burger spot. The food is better than most fast food spots and the dairy based desserts are great. The one thing this DQ sets itself apart from the others is that it has chocolate soft serve and cherry dip, an incredible combo.

One of the best DQ's I've been in my whole life. Customer service was welcoming and attentive. Haven't had steak fingers since a teenager so wanted to go try em out again. I tried the tacos also, not going to lie they were way better than taco hell's! The one thing DQ is a clear winner at, WHITE PEPPER GRAVY! If they make a WPG blizzard I'd buy it 😋

It has been a long time since I have been to DQ the French Fries were fantastic. My Blizzard was good but my husband's and daughters tasted like the candy may have been a bit old. Overall, we all enjoyed the treat.

Edit: I spoke to Mr. Mayfield, who genuinely was interested in solving the problem, offered to buy us treats on the menu and was clearly someone who cared about his business. Much appreciated. Tried to enjoy their .85 Blizzard deal today and the hubs downloaded the app but it wouldn’t seem to let us select a location so we headed out anyway. Got there and explained the situation in the drive through with no one behind us. The server saw the app and explained we downloaded the US app not the Texas app. At that point we had already ordered and we had no wifi to download the correct app. We of course went ahead and paid and went our way but it was a sham and a shame that cost us $10. They should have honored the deal.

Plentiful cookie bits in the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard. Not a fresh slice of Pumpkin Pie like Andy’s, but the ratio is much higher here.

The service was great and the dining area was clean.

Their blizzards are so good, and I would definitely try any flavor and not be disappointed. The music is pretty loud every time we go, though, so it is hard to hear your family and friends talk.

The staff were so kind and loving. For some reason this location never had the blizzard ice cream super frozen. Always on the soft serve side. I prefer my blizzards firm with spoon. This place will still be able to be turned upside down but it’s not as cold as other dq places. Again - the staff is amazing and they all working so hard so I just take it home and pop in freezer for a bit. It isn’t their fault the machine is not working as it should.

Ice cream here is great. You can customize your sunades if you'd like. My customized banana split was excellent! Like other DQs, this location has soft serve chocolate ice cream. I suggest trying this in your next ice cream treat. The employee I interacted with was friendly and engaging.  He made me feel like a valued customer.

3 stars because we order an oreo ice cream cake and got a oreo with reeses in it, and we had a person with a peanut allergy. I will say this the manager was amazing even refunded our money. I dont mean this to be a negative review but just double check your cakes.

They consistently mess up the easiest of orders. I hqve gotten one patty on a beltbuster ( 2 patty burger) numerous times. Simple stuff like putting the right ingredients gets messed up alot. The food is usually fresh and it is good when the order is done right.

The service was great. They were very friendly towards my kids and myself. It was just the quality. I've never eaten here before, and as the first time coming, I was not impressed by their chicken hamburger. The kids however, loved it all and really enjoyed the ice cream at hand.

Enjoy this location. However, I do wish they would look at their GrubHub menu to see what size of fry we are ordering. We order fries that cost $3.29 and look to be double the size of what we get. See photos. The amount of fries we get is not at all worth $3.29.

My wife and I normally enjoy Dairy Queen except tonight was not good. We generally order either tacos or the DQ Dude. Tonight our tacos tasted like they cooked in old grease. I also got a side salad which was very good. The staff was gracious and helpful. Not sure if I will order the tacos again.

They ran you through like a cattle call at 11:00 am. Not another car in sight. Apparently they no longer have medium drinks or fries. Salad looked to be weeks old. Then whomever brought the food out to the car looked to be really enjoying his job and was mad because I sent him back to get condiments because there was zero in the bag. Save the hassle and go to the Leander location and stay away from Mayflield DQ. They are progressively getting worse.

We ve never had DQ before, we went because we had coupons, seems like this location is different than the rest and they dont take coupons. Keep customers happy! Had to go back through to get the extra gravy we paid for. The person working the headset made it sound like we were a bother to him. Then the burger that I ordered did not have bacon like ordered and looks like it was smashed together by some angry kid.

It's 1pm on Saturday and the drive thru is closed and the store is locked.

I'm in New York and I ordered a cake online for my son's birthday in Leander. I called 3 times to verify the order and explained that I wanted to pay for it and was told that they couldn't take the payment over the phone but I could take a picture of the card and text it to him and they could put in the information manually. Twice after the first call when I called Dairy Queen back to insure the time of pick up I again explained that I'm in New York but my grandson had a picture of the front and back of my card and again was told no problem they would enter it manually. Today when he picked it up he was told by Kelly that they don't do that so he paid with his card. I couldn't believe it after talking to 3 previous people and being told no problem. I called and talked to Chris and he told me they don't do that. Very poor customer service!!!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Even though there were no other cars in the drive-thru & only 1 or 2 possible "inside costumers", we had to pull to the front & wait for our food. 1 large steak finger basket, 1 medium chicken finger basket, & 1 large blizzard. My husband had literally just had surgery & hadn't had anything to eat in almost 24 hrs, which was why we opted for "fast food". This wasn't the main issue & wouldn't have been a big deal except for the fact the individual who brought out the food, NOT the blizzard, was extremely rude & snooty. We told him we had also ordered a blizzard. He said he'd "go get it from the freezer". Huh? When he returned we couldn't believe the size! My husband questioned whether or not he had brought the correct size as it was EXTREMELY SMALL. It cost almost $7 & appeared to be around 12 oz. He said it that was all he was getting for $7, he didn't want it. The employee stated he needed the receipt & the credit card to process the return. In other words, we'd be stuck there even longer & who knows how much longer...so we left. But before we pulled away we asked for the manager & he said "I'm the highest person here/ manager on duty". Do what?!?!? He then said we could contact the owner if we had any issues with the pricing because the owner was the one who decided how much each item on the menu costs. Why wouldn't "you" do the simplest & right thing to do at the time in order to satisfy your costumer, like offer to remake the blizzard & this time put it in the CORRECT cup? Offer an additional small bluzzard? Coupon towards a future visit? Comp the meal? The list goes on....We are quite certain the wrong size was made/brought out. (We verified the size of the cup/how many oz's it held, after we got home.) To top things off, the food was TERRIBLE! The steak fingers were soggy/"limp", the fries were also disgusting & portions were small. We paid over $30 for bad service, gross food, & terribly small portions. We had take out food from this exact same location about 2 weeks ago & the difference in the food AND the service was like night & day. Not only that but we received more food, (2 large steak finger baskets (with a lot of fries) & TWO large beverages for less than $30. Explain that to me...In case you haven't figured it out, no, I would not recommend this "fast food restaurant", based on this visit alone.

Unable to order, there prices seemed different then normal. Which caused me to ask is this a DQ and the young lady expalins it’s a Mayfield DQ not an American DQ. I understand business and franchises but damn I googled Dairy Queen😐😐😐

Manager acted as if I was an imbecile. Hope they see that I am not. When I asked a question, I was told something was not available before I even finished say what it was. So just out of confirmation, I repeated my request but this time I was able to complete saying what it was that I wanted. Rudeness and arrogance is what I was met with. Then she left the till and went to another staff to complain about me, all whilst I was still watching her. I confronted her and she was surprised then only began to explain to me because I had addressed her infront of everybody watching. I am never going back to this restaurant again.

I had the worst experience here! We went there with our family to have dinner and dessert to celebrate our kids end of school year. There was an area off to the side with open tables, when we went to sit down an employee told us that they had to clean it before we sat down. We told them that we didn’t mind, it wasn’t extremely dirty or anything, but they told us no, we couldn’t sit down. So we waited 20+ minutes for them to clean it, as they cleaned a total of 2 tables. They were busy, we understood, so we started sitting at those tables and the same employee kicked us out saying they needed to clean the whole area. We offered to help clean, and they went off on us completely. We tried to explain that we didn’t mind helping out so that we could have a place to sit where we can be close to each other instead of tables apart. They just told us they didn’t want our help and walked away without cleaning anything. We waited a bit longer before we walked out and went to Freddy’s down the street.

I usually avoid this DQ if I can because the prices here are SO much higher than the one in Leander or off 620, but I was closer to this one and it was late. Never in all of my years of going to DQ have I been served a blizzard in a Styrofoam Dixie cup before. I swear their sizes in blizzards change every time I've ever gone here and I never know what I'm going to get. The sizes just keep getting smaller and the prices just keep going up. This was almost $6 for a mini blizzard. That's insane.

I got a 4 piece and they only gave me 3 pieces of chicken and they give me so little Fries so horrible I can’t believe that’s how you guys serve people that really unacceptable

I am so incredibly disappointed in this Dairy Queen. This is supposed to be a Mayfield location, all it was lame field location. These tacos are the saddest excuse for a taco. I praise Mayfield locations. They are usually the best. This one for sure came up short, short of Taco filling.

Old white lady who works here is SO MEAN!! She was yelling at the staff and then yelling at me through the drive through bc i ordered a peanut butter ice cream and asked for hot fudge in it too. The other employees were nice over the intercom but she has the nastiest attitude for no reason and ruined the whole experience.

$10.50 for a KIDS hamburger meal … absolutely not!!! I will not be returning and will be going to Liberty Hill location from now on, which I normally do but was in the CP area. Had I know this I would not have given them my business.

Had a coupon that the manager said doesnt apply to mayfield locations and that it "normally" states on the coupon where it applies to. It didnt state anywhere where the coupon is valid at and refused to accept the coupon. I guess mayfield is selective about what business it wants to accept and not accept.

Disappointing experience due to poor communication and unprofessional management. My father and I were instructed by staff to pull forward and park in a specific spot in the drive-thru while waiting for our food. This caused confusion with the customers behind us, who became visibly upset. What was most concerning was that management did not clarify that staff had directed us to park there, nor did they take steps to de-escalate the situation. Instead, staff observed from inside and later asked “what’s going on,” while allowing the situation to escalate, including threats by the vehicle behind us to call the police after only a short wait. This situation could have been easily avoided with clear communication and basic management support. Unfortunately, because of how this was handled, we won’t be returning to this location.

Terrible service and disrespectful management. Whenever I come here, it’s through the drive through and the staff are always unfriendly and grumpy. Today I tried to redeem my birthday reward and the manager was very rude in telling me they use a different app and even insinuated I was using an expired reward when the screen literally showed a countdown. Does not make sense that some DQs use different apps. Also doesn’t show good customer service for not just honoring it. Ended up paying for the medium blizzard and ordered a large sundae, but gave us the size of a small sundae. Of all the DQs around Austin, choose ANY other one to avoid being disappointed.

We went to this place only because I received discount coupons at home — it’s just 5 minutes away. When we got there, they told us they don’t accept those coupons. Very disappointing, and I also do NOT recommend the burgers — they’re tasteless and small. There are much better options nearby.

At most of the DQs that I have been to they have limeades the strawberry is my favorite so I pull up and order one with cheese bites and I get to the window and they tell me they don't have limeades there? How does every other DQ make limeades and these guys don't? Does each DQ get to decide what they serve and what they don't????
