I wasn't familiar with it, friends had spoken highly of it. I arrived with fairly high expectations, and the restaurant even exceeded them. Fast, friendly, delicious dishes respecting tradition at fair prices, and then—fantastic—even though it was packed, the buzz that sometimes made it impossible to talk to the other side of the table was absolutely minimal. Definitely a place to try several times (their "rataabbuffata" menu changes every week). Finding so many like this... Just to add, lunches are always a wonderful experience, exquisite food, pampering, and a smile when you pay!!! 😊 If possible, it's always better. Yesterday I had the margottini alla bergamasca, sublime to say the least. Every rataabbuffata is always a fantastic experience!! Wow, it's always better. Last Friday's Bagna cauda was amazing, perhaps one of the best I've ever tried!!! 😋😋😋😋

We chose the tasting menu, which was truly meticulously crafted in its combinations and presentation, tasty, and generously portioned. Excellent service; the staff was very friendly and helpful. Good value for money. Next time we're in Alessandria, we'll definitely stop by!

A pleasant lunchtime discovery, with a short menu featuring simple, tasty dishes, cooked to perfection. The place is charming and spacious (though I'd personally remove the wall-mounted TV and fake flowers), and the staff are friendly and discreet. The wine by the glass deserves a special mention; I tried the Barbera...very good for a house wine. Homemade desserts are accompanied by a complimentary glass of Ratafià. The price is fair.
