Just got off our flight earlier today and had time to try out Cask & Larder here in Orlando airport. Our server Jakim was top notch! Hubby and I had C&L cheeseburgers, fries, side salad, as well as C&L street corn. Everything was really delicious. The bacon jam was the perfect touch for the burgers. Really good flavor! I want to try the chicken and waffles next, and my husband wants to try the alfredo next trip over this way.

If you're flying out of Southwest, this is the spot for food. I ordered the brisket meatloaf on my server's recommendation and it was excellent. The Bavarian pretzel is always a hit as well. If you're in a rush, or if there is no seating available, you can order to-go at the counter.

This is our good to place when we have a layover. The food is good and most of the time the service is quick and friendly. The prices are very reasonable for an airport, and they understand that their customers most likely need to be in and out. My goto are the shrimp tacos. They are so good. 3 tacos with flavorful shrimp and the perfect amount of lettuce, onions, and cheese. BF likes to try different things and he's liked most of what he's ordered. He hot the Cubano today and said it was great. Their hamburgers are very good, too. If you've got time to sit down for a meal, you should definitely come here.

Cask & Larder at Terminal C in the Orlando Airport is hands down one of the best airport dining experiences I’ve ever had. The pork belly tacos were on another level...perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, packed with flavor in every bite. You’d never guess you were eating in an airport restaurant! Not only is the food outstanding, but it’s also a great bar to enjoy a quality drink before your flight. Whether you’re in the mood for a craft beer, a well made cocktail, or just something to help you relax before takeoff, this place has you covered. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was fast and friendly...something you really appreciate when you’re catching a flight. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to get to the airport early just to eat here. Highly recommend if you’re flying through MCO!!!!

For an airport setting, I found the experience quite satisfying as a whole. The venue was very busy, a positive indicator. The servers were having a hard time keeping up. There is a separate bar abutting the tables. The bbq sampler was mediocre, and the burger very good. Dinks were as advertised. We charged our phones while eating.

Pretzel was 10/10 Pretzels are my favorite food- so I’m pretty picky. Pass on the mustard sauce though. Also C&L lemonade- awesome if you’re a vodka gal.

It's one of the best airport restaurants I've been to. The portion sizes were HUGE the flavor was amazing, and if it wasn't for the beer prices, this would be on par with any other restaurant for value. The pick 3 appetizers is a huge amount of food, i ordered it as a meal and had to share with my husband as well. Make sure you try the brussels sprouts! Yum!

Stopped in for a quick bite since we only had 1 hr before boarding. There was a long line, but some space at the bar, so we sat there. Service was pretty quick which is good.goof. The food was good. I had the pork sandwich on pretzel bread. I thought it was pulled pork, but it came out with pork belly, so I could have just read the menu wrong. It still was good. My BF got a Cuban sandwich. He said the meat was dry. We also ordered a side of mac and cheese. It's white cheddar. The sauce was creamy. It just probably would have been better with bacon crumbs or prosciutto on top. Otherwise it's just regular.

Cask & Larder is located near the Food Court in the Orlando International Airport. Even though it’s an open air style restaurant, the atmosphere is a small escape from all of the hustle & bustle of the airport. There’s plenty of tables with charging ports which is a great convenience. The food was great! I had the C&L burger which was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. The bacon jam was definitely the star of the show. I also went for a side salad instead of fries. The service was quick but they also weren’t “pushy” with trying to move tables. I appreciated that very much. I was able to enjoy my meal, charge my phone and kill some time in a somewhat relaxing environment. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Friendly Staff, nice menu selections, fresh and delicious. Draft Beer selection is excellent. A lot of signature beers. Florida Sunshine is very balanced and refreshing. Five Points IPA was mildly hoppy with a nice citrus burst. Arcadia Falls was the rotational small batch in the Pic. Very Hoppy and green tasting until your taste buds get used to it. Then its phenomenal!! Nice dry crisp taste. Happy after kick!

Great food, friendly staff (even when it’s busy), wonderful ambience for an airport eatery. Well worth a detour to the left (gates 100-129) after going through security when I am flying Delta if I have the time to spare before my flight. My favorite for breakfast is the chicken waffle sandwich with some brewed iced tea.

If you are at the Orlando airport and flying out of the A-Gates, this is a great place to grab a Beer and great food if your killing time. They have a full size bar and can make any drink you want but also have specialty Cask & Larder brews for everyone's taste. The bar area is comfortable and the scenery outside of is fantastic, plus thet have live sports playing on various TVs. You can also have a quiet sit down meal off of their menu that has a large variety of items which is located in an area accross from the bar. Highly recommended...my go to!

Came here wanting a snacky lunch and this place came through! This is the type of food that’s tasty but will also not give you a stomach-ache on the flight, so I’d say to come here instead of some of the other nearby restaurants. It’s a little bit pricier but I think that the food is worth it, and the seating and service is a really nice break from the stress that comes with travel. The atmosphere is cute, with paneling that makes you forget you have a flight in 90 minutes, and they can get the food out fast enough if you’re a bit time-sensitive. I would let them know, though, before you’re seated. I really liked their corn side, although the brussels sprouts dish did feel admittedly dry. If you’re at this terminal and have a little bit of time, I’d definitely recommend it over the other spots nearby.

The restaurant is great. Who would if thought a good restaurant would be in the airport? The server and hostess was very professional and attentive. I ordered the meatloaf made from brisket...it was so good. I want the recipe! The beer they had was great and the server knew his stuff. Thank you so much for the great service.

Immediate recognition when we took a seat, received beverage and food menu, and bartenders asked if they could start a drink for us. Excellent service and food was outstanding. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I think the surprising element was one becomes accustomed to just accepting the poor food choices normally found in the airport. The salad was cold and fresh and included watermelon radishes. The dressing was house made and for ranch dressing was over the top good and different. My pork sandwich had slaw and onion sticks which were a perfect compliment. The turkey club was ordered by my companion. Sandwich was juicy and flavorful with dried tomatoes that really made the sandwich. Thanks Wes and Scott for a great send off of meal and drinks - great way to end the vacation.

The C&L Cheeseburger with blue cheese and sautéed onions was so delicious! My friends got the BLT Sliders and a Turkey Wrap with French fries. Everyone enjoyed the food! Great drinks and service! If you have extra time, check it out! ❤️

I grabbed a great lil spot near the atrium windows looking out over a couple lil well-landscaped ponds with palm trees and everything. They were out of the breaded&fried avocado wedges which was so disappointing I couldn't bring myself to order anything else. So I just had four beers over the course of two hours while waiting for my flight. They had a solid liquor selection though and a few TV's which were attracting a crowd as the US Open was winding down. Safe travels and cheers! 🍻🛫

Had a layover here (and delay). Service was attentive, beer is great, avocado fries are addicting… It gets busy though so if you don’t see a spot when you walk up, you may be waiting a while.

Sat here to catch a soccer game while waiting for my flight. Great service, friendly bartenders, and awesome hot wings! I also had a delicious spicy Bloody Mary with a tajin rim. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a place to grab a drink and a bite before your flight.

My flight was delayed multiple times so I made the best of it and grabbed some food and wine. This chix and waffles was so good! The whipped ricotta really took it to the next level and the waffles were fluffy! Definitely made the right choice!

"Lauren" and the morning crew were nothing short of amazing! They know how to read their guests and provided excellent service according! Great tap selection and everything from lite bites to a full steak dinner. Something for everyone! Definitely recommend the next time you find yourself "on the 'A Side' of MCO!

We had a flight delay so had some time to grab a quick bite. We were seated right away. It was a busy night, but it wasn't long before Natasha showed up. She got our drinks and orders quickly and our food came out in a timely manner. We all had something different and it was all good. I'm usually suspect of airport restaurants, but the service was great and the food was excellent. I also notice that the manager didn't hide in the back, but stayed on the floor to make sure no one was being overlooked. We will stop here on our next trip to/through Orlando, and you should, too!

Wow, I’m shock how good it is here. Orlando’s airport food is normally just ok but it reminds me of the food I had in Las Vegas food. You can definitely taste the quality even though I just had a traditional breakfast. I would come here again! Vanilla latte was soooo good! I wanted another and I got one for to-go haha 10/10 recommend.

Tasty food, great service, good atmosphere, and reasonable prices. It's a great place to sit in the airport before your flight. Don't get the burger! Well, I'm sure it's good, but they have much more interesting and flavorful food like the Hot Wings and their Street Corn. Highly recommend both of those! The server was also super friendly and detail oriented. I ordered the two messiest things on the menu and he ensured everything was clean. Love this place!

As far as airport restaurants go, this is about as good as they come. They've got a decent selection of southern inspired dishes as well as an assortment of their own craft beers. We ended up trying three of the side dishes and really liked what we got, especially the brussel sprouts. I also tried their limited time hazy IPA and thought it was pretty good. We did have to wait a few minutes to be seated, so it might not be the best option if you're in a rush. Service was very friendly though!

Convenient location. They sat us down and took our order in average time. Drinks were delivered very quickly and food followed shortly behind. QR code for easy menu access.

I never expected the best part of flying home for the holidays would be the airport bar. We had the best time with the bartender, Lauren. She made great food recommendations and her drinks were delicious. We were so stressed with the trip and she made us laugh so hard we forgot the family drama for a minute! Definitely will be stopping by next time we fly through here.

We ate dinner at Cask & Larder after an emergency stop at the airport of Orlando, and the restaurant was surprisingly good. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was very stylish and inviting. The service was also very quick, and the waitress was very friendly. Overall, I think it was a very nice accidental stay at a great place.

I have been to the Ravenous Pig in Winter Park, and I'm surprised to say that the quality of food is pretty similar given that this is an airport restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and open. The service was nice and quick. The BLT sandwich was nice and the bacon had a good flavor. The fried pickles had a great taste and crunch. I am a total spice baby, so I could not eat the jalapeño ranch dip, but they got me regular ranch and it had a great taste.

My family and I were thoroughly impressed by this restaurant inside of Terminal A at Orlando Airport. It's located within the food court area of the terminal but it's the only dine-in spot where you are served by staff. The restaurant has a chic aesthetic to it and you forget that you're inside of an airport terminal while dining there. There was a short wait to be seated but it wasn't long. I would estimate from the time we were seated until we had finished and paid our bill was about 45 minutes to an hour. The food we ordered was excellent so I had no heartache paying the slightly expensive tab. We ordered the Southern Cuban Sandwich, Nashville Chicken Sandwich, and C&L Shrimp Tacos. Each dish was full of flavor and tasted high-quality. Our food was delivered hot and the portion sizes were reasonable. I think I was most impressed by the quality and flavor of the food. The chef who designed the menu knew what he was doing and the cooks did an excellent job of following through with each recipe. We also ordered drinks with our lunch. I had the Five Points IPA and was very happy with it. I like craft beer and it was nice being able to try something I can't get back home. If you want a really good meal and you have the time to spare before your flight, this is a great option. Yes, it's a little more expensive than other food court options but it was totally worth it for me and my family.

Food was fantastic. We think it was the best fried pickles we have had. We opted for the salad with our burgers but after how good the pickles were and how good the fries looked, we wish one of us would have gotten the fries as a side and shared. Service was great and fast. Would recommend.

Awesome southern styled food in a let’s go with unusual? spot (terminal A of airport). I had the classic chicken n waffles topped with some diced apples and whipped ricotta. It was the perfect meal to preface a 4 hr flight. Nice selection of beverages as well and all served by an attentive and pleasantly patient staff. There’s also a to-go provisions store (snagged some bourbon marshmallows for later) among many fresh made and prepackaged items suitable for air travel. When at all possible I mss as me it a point to fly out of terminal A just to eat here. Could not think of a better spot to impress any visitors from out of the area.

Great place for a bite to eat. I had the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, which is very delicious. Staff were very friendly. It is located in MCO, going towards gates C230-C238, in Terminal C. There are tables and chairs to sit down and eat. There is also a separate section inside the location for table service only. If you carry out your food, then you sit at the tables and chairs across the way.

Loved this place!! Had a cheeseburger with salad and got the Brussels sprouts as well as a cold brew coffee. The cold brew was one of the best I’ve had and the Brussels sprouts were amazing!! The burger and salad were great too! The service was incredible and the atmosphere was well lit and comfy! Would definitely eat here again!

Excellent breakfast here, hot and fresh. The bacon on my sandwich was ¼” thick, and very hot. Coffee is OK, but the service was quick and fit into our travel schedule. This place is so much better than the huge chains in this terminal, and the pricing was not bad compared to other airports. Highly recommend and we will visit again.

I LOVE this place. I have made it a tradition to come every time I fly out of Orlando (my hometown.) Practically everything I've had on the menu is fantastic. The meatloaf is my absolute favorite but there is a lot to explore on the menu. The brussel sprouts are fantastic and they just added fried avocado wedges to the menu and they are really good.

The service was excellent. We were seated with no wait time. This place is very cozy. The staff works together as a team from my observation. Our server Mewas very knowledgeable about the menu suggested the Shrimp & Grits, that is what I ordered also we ordered Cheeseburger & French Fries. The Shrimp & Grits was simply amazing. I’ve never had Shrimp & Grits that tasted like this one, full of flavor and the mixture with tomatoes & sweet white corn made it by far the best. When we’re in the this airport again we will definitely stop by. Hats off to the Cooks & Staff.

I would definitely eat here again. The food was great. The "hot chicken," however, is not hot at all. So, if you know Nashville Hot Chicken as we do, this is not it. Still, the food is good and you can count on it filling you up while at the Orlando Airport. Our waitress was great!

⭐️ 5‑Star Airport Gem & A Guest You’ll Never Forget! First off, Cask & Larder is a beautifully refreshing option tucked amidst Terminal C at MCO—far from your typical grab-and-go food. With James Beard–nominated chefs behind it, this Southern comfort eatery and brewhouse offers “farm‑to‑terminal” cuisine in a warm, inviting atmosphere ☀️🍽️ . ⸻ 🍔 The Bacon Cheeseburger: Pure Bliss! Let’s talk about that burger. The Bacon Cheeseburger is nothing short of spectacular—juicy, perfectly seasoned beef stacked with smoky bacon and melty cheese. Every bite felt like a moment on a gourmet foodie journey, making me almost miss my flight because I refused to rush this masterpiece 🤤🥓🧀. ⸻ 🌟 Al: The Heart & Soul of Your Visit What truly elevated the experience was Al, your fabulous waiter. His upbeat, magnetic personality made your time there feel special. His service was: • Warm & Welcoming – you felt immediately at ease. • Positively Energizing – his personal flair was irresistibly joyous. • Memorably Engaging – he made the meal feel like catching up with an old friend. He wasn’t just serving food—he was lifting spirits ✨. If you’re at Gate C230, absolutely ask for Al—he’ll make the wait for your flight something to look forward to. ⸻ 👏 Echoing the Praise Other travelers raved about the atmosphere and service: “Great service, one of the more enjoyable airport bar experiences I’ve had.” And the restaurant itself is celebrated for blowing away expectations: “It’s completely out of place, nearly absurd, to find food this good in an airport.” Your experience perfectly mirrors these glowing impressions. ⸻ 📌 Final Takeaway If your travels take you through Orlando International, make a point to stop at Gate C230 and treat yourself to the Bacon Cheeseburger at Cask & Larder. And above all, ask for Al—his welcoming charm is contagious and adds a personal touch that turns a simple meal into a highlight of your trip 😊✈️. Bon appétit and happy travels!

I have been dreaming of the brown butter bourbon old fashioned since I was here years ago. It is among the most delicious drinks I have ever had. Service today (thanks Michelle) was friendly and prompt and attentive. We just had appetizers but yum-o on the pretzels. There is a sophisticated spice blend and a superbly textured beer cheese. Fried pickles were super crispy and fresh and dipping sauce was delicious. This place never disappoints! Such a peaceful atmosphere in the hub bub of the airport.

Great service. Our waiter Miguel was super kind and very helpful! The wait to get in was long but what do you expect for the only sit down restaurant in a super busy terminal. And the food is ok but good enough when you have not to many options and just want to sit and relax. The fries though i must say were very very delicious! The Cuban was good too. Chicken fingers ehhh. And the burger was a good burger. So take that as you will. Super cute place though love the green and the fake tree with the real birds. Overall would recommend!

Oh my God—it’s happening. I ordered the CHICKEN & WAFFLES ($21) and had to start writing this while it was still melting in my mouth. The Nashville hot chicken? Crispy, spicy, tender—like it just won a culinary Oscar. The Belgian waffle? Fluffy and golden like it floated down from a brunch cloud. Then the hot honey apple & red onion jam and whipped ricotta swooped in like flavor ninjas. Sweet, spicy, creamy, tangy—balanced like a jazz quartet on a tightrope. Now… the only thing that didn’t vibe? The young lady at the counter, i wouldnt mention name but blonde ponytail, with bangs—bless her heart—felt like she was followed by a personal thunderstorm. Not rude, but about as warm as a DMV printer in January. I’ve been greeted by cremation staff with more pep. Honestly, I’m starting to think she missed her flight two months ago and just started working here out of protest. That said, my flight boards in 1 hour and 15 minutes, and I might order a second round. This dish slapped. Hard.

We had the fried avocado wedges, the BBQ plate and shared them both. It was too much food for two people but it was amazing! So, so good and full of flavor! Definitely recommend this place! Would have given 4 stars for service instead of 5 just because we ordered a bottle of wine and never received it BUT, we were so full that we never would have been able to drink it and the servers were so nice! They were also very busy and we could see they were working hard with great attitudes!

Stopped at Cask & Larder at the Orlando airport on my way to Syracuse for Thanksgiving with my daughter, and our bartender/server Lauren was amazing. She was super friendly and really on top of everything. I ordered the blueberry mule with elderflower, and it was honestly so good. One drink to calm the nerves, right? She checked in on us just the right amount and made the whole morning feel easy. Girl was hustling, it looked busy. Great service and a great start to our trip. I’d definitely look for her again next time we fly.

I only went there for dessert because the wait line was too long. The ambience and the service were top notch. I only had a chocolate chip brownie sundae 5/5 I wish the place was more spacious considering the limited place to dine in in/around that’s 112 in MCO.

Reasonably, priced for airport food. The hash browns were reminiscent of the hash browns I ate at McDonald's growing up. My only complaint is the 🥑 did not taste fresh. Furthermore, it tasted like it was frozen, then thawed. Although, I was appreciative they let me substitute the avocado for the meat that normally accompanies the dish.

Great spot for breakfast. We sat at the bar to eat and wait for our flight. Decent food selection and staff is friendly. Loved the chorizo tacos!

**update** knowing C&L was here made it an easy choice as to where we were going to spend some down time - and WOW, it was even better than last time!! We got cocktails, a couple beer flights, and an enormous amount of food. The service awesome (again) and the food was even better. Probably one of the best airport restaurants in Orlando. Service was crazy fast, and obviously concerned about the flight times of their patrons. Our food was delivered “to go” so we could take it on the plane, and despite not having a lot of time to spare - we made it through with ample time for the flight. Cool layout and decor.

I only went there for dessert because the wait line was too long. The ambience and the service were top notch. I only had a chocolate chip brownie sundae 5/5 I wish the place was more spacious considering the limited place to dine in in/around that’s 112 in MCO.

Listen, this is a gated community in the getto that is the MCO food court. Grab a seat, order some average food that given the context it is surrounded by it gets lifted to above average, and watch the terrifying zoo unfold outside behind a secure cage- literally. The menu is easy, food comes out fast, coffee is gross-but I ain’t waiting 20min for a Starbucks coffee-, service is nice, servers won’t scream at you like they do across the fence. Bonus: plenty of chargers around. You may have to wait a bit.

We sat at the bar. The drinks were mixed well. The Mac n cheese was good as was the beet salad. The Brussel sprouts had good flavor but were overcooked.

This is a good place for an "airport taco" fondly known as the estranged and even more vaguely distance cousin of the "street taco". Made with pork belly, some veg and flexible flour tortillas these "airport tacos" are of decent size, of fair ingredient quality, and include a lot of sauce and drizzles lathering about the various crevices and obtuse surfaces. Winner, winner, taco dinner.

This review is for the “to go” food portion of Cask & Larder. We actually came over from the Delta side of the terminal since food is very limited over there and we are big fans of their sister restaurant Polite Pig. Overall this is elevated quick service airport food, so don’t expect gourmet - but for what it is it was fast and good! The market area is where you order it to go and service was good and very quick. We had the Turkey melt, grilled chicken sandwich, the large pretzel and the biscuits. The pretzel was the stand out - big with delicious Cajun seasoning and a cheese dip. The sandwiches were both tasty with good kettle chips. The biscuits were the only disappointment - felt like they had been sitting out all day. Overall I would make the trek to the southwest side of the terminal if I wanted something tasty for the plane ride!

Chicken n waffles was okay. Small portion of chicken. Good flavor just would've like a little more. Bloody mary was okay also needed something to kick it up a notch. Grits with egg was a hit. Kids breakfast sandwich the muffin was cold not even toasted. Cheese barely melted. So close to great but missing on a few details.

For airport food, not bad at all.

Really cool atmosphere and had glass ceilings so you can get some fun. I ordered the pork belly tacos and they were savory and the micro cilantro and comeback sauce adds a really nice flavor. I also ordered public house old fashioned. Solid choice. Price point is a bit higher than I would like. $14 cocktails. Also, added fries to my tacos for $3. Don't do it. The fries suck, at least when I tried them.

Given the options at the Orlando airport, Cask and Larder is a solid choice. I actually went out of my way to a different part of the airport to try this out. Some of the other reviews are really down on the food, but I enjoyed the flavor combinations. I was a little disappointed that breakfast ends at 10 on weekends (got there at 10:20), and what's the deal with the plastic silverware?! However, the service was friendly and I wasn't in a rush so I didn't notice if they were slow. The atmosphere was great and the mimosa was huge and they didn't skimp out on the bubbly! I would go back if I was passing through.

Brussel sprouts and grits are legit 6 stars. But the corn is garbage. Wouldn’t even give it 1 star. Service was slow. Had to find waiter to get my ticket to get to the gate on time.

Quaint over-priced goods & treats - nice local selection of atypical airport fare. They had local chocolates, niche sodas, custom treats - cookies, pretzels, etc. I ordered the club sandwich as well - subbing in cheddar cheese for the Swiss (which they happily obliged). The sandwich was quite good - thick bread & bacon, & served with kettle chips. Overall, nice change from usual airport offerings.

We were promptly greeted by our waiter who introduced himself and offer a paper menu for our elderly companion, in addition to the QRCode available. Food was quickly served and very tasty.

It is an airport restaurant, but it’s a very good airport restaurant. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was quite good but not too hot. If’s ambiance was nice for an airport. They were nice to let me eat my sandwich from another place, while my wife ordered and ate there. We also came back at a later date (today Nov24) for breakfast. Great pastries and breakfast sandwiches! VictorB

Very expensive place to have to try to enjoy dinner due to flight delays. You would think the airline would be responsible to pay for your meal after sticking you at the airport for 10hrs - however they responded with "mechanical issues are beyond their control" Cask and Larder is a nice place that has a hot waitress (michelle) who is a great gal...she made our dinner experience a bit better because she had a great positive attitude. The food was OK but better than most airport places. The price is very high and almost unreasonable but people flock to eat here....so if your willing to pay- your the dummy like I was too.

Stopped in for lunch before our flight. The food was good, definitely better than typical airport food and the price was reasonable. Our server was very attentive and polite. A great place for a pre-flight meal.

This is a good spot to stop and eat, especially if you are like me and like to try new food. The pulled pork with a little BBQ sauce and a fork of mac and cheese is delicious! They don't offer this combo, I made it up but you can try all 3 together and get the same experience as I did. Just order a bbq or pulled pork platter. Or try the Cuban sandwich which is also very tasty.

Food was eh. Alaina was a great server, especially considering they were short-staffed on a busy Monday morning. She was efficient, friendly, and thoughtful.

Beautiful spot to grab a quick bite. We got the biscuits and gravy they were very bland but fine otherwise. It's a gorgeous spot in the airport! The cute fake tree even makes fake bird noises or maybe there was an actual bird in there. Either way it's worth stopping by to visit this spot. Just order something different

A meal before our flight. It was this or fast food or walk across the terminal, really. We decided to give a go. For an airport restaurant, it hit the spot! I did the BLT with side salad, and hubby did the farmers salad and street corn side. Everything was super tasty, and the portions were really big. We definitely would return next time at Orlando International Airport.

Extra effort in customer service would take this place to the next level, but considering the location, it’s likely not the highest priority. I stopped here during a long layover between flights. Not in a rush by any mean, and not being greeted or given seating instruction after lingering for a while was initially off putting. Once I found a seat, I was greeted almost immediately. I sat next to the window behind the bar. Great view. Would’ve been most ideal if the window ledges were clean. I started with the C&L Lemonade. It was refreshing and not too sweet, just as the server suggested. Next, we tried the fried pickles. They were perfectly crispy, not at all soggy. The breading seemed like a tempera. Very tasty.

Not the greatest food, not the worst. Just average to me. Drink: PUBLIC HOUSE OLD FASHIONED- brown butter-infused old forester bourbon demerara syrup, angostura & orange bitters. App: FRIED DILL PICKLES with cilantro lime ranch dipping sauce. Main: SOUTHERN CUBAN SANDWICH sliced ham, mojo pork, swiss cheese, pickles local pepper jelly, mustard on cuban bread.

Stopped here for dinner during a layover. Although all of the servers were very nice and the restaurant wasn't busy, the service was very slow. The food was also just okay for the price. We had the street corn (1 out of 5), shrimp tacos (3/5), and the pork pretzel sandwich (3/5). If you're looking for a laid back atmosphere and have time to kill, feel free to check it out. There is a nice bar area to sit at and socialize with fellow travelers. However, stay away from the street corn, the breading was burnt (pictures provided) and it lacked any flavor despite being doused in some tasteless sauce (seemed like unsalted butter) and breadcrumbs.

Had a layover at Orlando airport, decided to eat at Cask & Ladder between the 100-129 terminal. My waitress didn’t speak, say hi, cat, darn, nothing. It took her longer than I would have liked to come to my table at times but I still tipped her. I ordered the: - Fried Green Tomatoes with a pepper aioli - I could have had more aioli. I wasn’t sure if I liked it but I kept eating them so, there you go! 😁🤓 Keep in mind this is a rustic restaurant. The batter seem to be a cornmeal batter. ($8) -Grilled Snapper with Mac n Cheese as a substitute for the Brussels sprouts - Well, I wasn’t expecting the Snapper to be so small. It came with a tomato compote that I didn’t like with the Snapper at all. The Snapper wasn’t seasoned but grilled to where it had a burnt taste.(not charred but burnt). I tried to eat it all but I couldn’t. The taste of burnt didn’t do it for me. If they were trying to grill it for the rustic taste, in my opinion, it was a miss. The Mac n Cheese was just ok. It was whiite cheddar cheese.($18) The atmosphere was clean, nice, quiet, even though it’s in the airport. I was able to relax and check some emails… I don’t recommend anything on the menu, you just have to try it yourself.

Look, when you eat a meal at an airport it’s because you are too early for your flight...no one plans on dining at an airport! That said, this was a nice “snack” , some small batch Gin and solid Mac and cheese. It’s all good!

The best choice for a little higher quality food than the BS in the food court for 🐑 This is the Second time getting the breakfast tacos 🌮 traveling through to final destination. Tastes the same as 6 months ago so being consistent is a good thing! Service was Par for both visits!

We stopped in for a quick bite and decided to share the chicken and waffles. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. The chicken looked and smelled like burnt grease, and it was completely unappetizing. On top of that, we paid $30 for just two small coffees and that one dish, which we didn’t even end up eating. That said, the service was amazing—Christina was wonderful and very attentive. Sadly, despite the great service, I cannot recommend this place based on the food quality.

Food was OK at best. Had the omlett..good egg, almost no cheese, a strand or two of red peppers, and a couple of onion strands. Toast, but no jam. Plastic utinsils. Avocado toast .. almost no avocado and bread that could not be cut and was hard to chew. For $40, not worth the effort.

Food isn’t good. Staff and decor was great. But don’t fall for it. Food is pretty bad. Almost like cafeteria food. I got the Burnt ends meatloaf and don’t know where the burnt end name fits in. Just a cheap meatloaf

BLT was not appetizing, not fresh. Fries were lukewarm and the food came out in about 5 minutes. One of the worst BLT’s I’ve ever had. Beer was very good!

S

The beer and fries were good, but the burger was disappointing. It had the consistency of a cheap frozen patty that’s been overcooked and tasted bland despite its appearance. I hate to say it, but a McDonald’s hamburger is more flavorful and costs significantly less.

Good for drinks but the food is very bland in my opinion. The shrimp tacos were flavorless. The street corn, I believe, was deep fried and also bland. The meatloaf was ok. Not my idea of southern comfort food. The service was good and seating was quick. We've eaten breakfast here before and it was great. Lunch? Not so much.

L

Yes, it's an airport restaurant, but $15 for a plastic cup of local beer is ridiculous! A large mojito was cheaper. And the $20 cuban sandwich was small and just ok.

A

Moderate convenience factor but that’s it. It’s always empty and there’s a reason for that. Side note: Hot brewed coffee should be served hot, not at room temperature from sitting in a Cask for 6 hours…

Mediocre food at a high price. The service was fantastic. Our waiter was very attentive and pleasant. It's nice to sit down in a relaxed atmosphere as opposed to waiting at the terminal. Unfortunately the quality of their ingredients is lacking. The bacon was overcooked to the point of becoming pork rhines. The eggs in the breakfast taco were either powered eggs or liquid eggs but definitely not fresh eggs. Very reminiscent of army dining facility food at a price I would expect from a high end steakhouse. Not a restaurant I would visit again.

Plenty of bar-high seats available but had to wait to get seated because only seats at the actual bar are open seating - despitea ton of empty seats. They don't serve beers in glass - plastic cups like at a fraternity party. At $15.44 per beer, it should be served in a glass - trying to get a nose on a new beer and all I could smell is plastic. I came in and sat at a single bar-high, got kicked out and had to wait 15 minutes to get sat in the same spot. Took forever to get a beer. This is the only place to get a beer at these gates - I will avoid this concourse of the airport like the plague.

My server was Lauren M she was rude! She also charged me for a double shot when I only had a inquiry about a drink her specific words were " an old fashion already has a double shot" so why did you charge me? No worries I paid and walked across the way to go to a different bar tender and he was awesome. While I was there Lauren M appears like she wanted to make a statement or something basically felt more aggressive and antagonistic. I will be reaching out to the highest level to report this abusive behavior completely rude and aggressive for no reason! Lauren needs to find another place to work to make her happy

Arrived at 10am for a yummy breakfast only to be met with sad news that breakfast stops at 945am. Who eats lunch at 945am?!?? I ordered shrimp and grits to go and asked very nicely if I could pay for 2 sunny-side-up eggs on top and was told No because "the eggs are already put up and they can't get them back out." Typical airport restaurant rudeness. I took a risk with this meal since I'm gluten-free bc someone a couple play on "Find me gluten-free" said it was safe but took a gluthione+charcoal supp just in case bc I don't think they are trained in cross contact (or even care). No gluten-free menu or markings - which is a hive problem airport-wide because it's 2025 and nearly everyone has an allergy or sensitivity and airport restaurants are hotbed to make people like me sick that need real food. Do better C+L!

This review is for their smaller booth right next to the restaurant. Don’t go to the booth that’s next door. I got a grilled chicken sandwich for $15. I can’t even fathom how they stored the chicken breast before putting it on my bun. It looks so artificial and dry. The peppers or tomatoes (idk what they even look like) taste absolutely awful. Nothing was even warm to indicate it just came off the grill. The only thing going for this meal are the kettle chips. Just go to chipotle instead.

If you’re hungry for breakfast, do yourself a favor & skip this place. While the service was good, the food was some of the worst I’ve ever had in an airport. $50 for two people to have waffles & a breakfast biscuit with sausage is a ripoff. The waffles tasted like they’re complimentary at a La Quinta hotel & the sausage was barely warm, flimsy, & tasted like rubber. Coffee was bad. Will never come here again.

R

Had a layover in the morning so decide to eat at a sit down nicer restaurant rather than McDonald’s or other fast food places. Not worth it! The bacon was like leather and I could barely chew it, sausage patties were not even edible. Eggs were decent.

I can’t begin to describe how bad this food is. I took one bite and was just done. I tried a second bite, and was hoping for a better outcome…kind of like a Cowboys fan year after year. And like a Cowboys fan, was disappointed. The bacon was burnt, the rest was bland, like biting into mushy cardboard. Spit out the second bite and tossed it in the trash. There is literally no worse decision you can make for food in the A terminal than this

We stopped here for dinner and it was a very unpleasant experience. We ordered steak and a Mac and cheese. It took 35 minutes for the steak to come not as asked - sent it back and it came back burnt (after having asked about it a few times). It took an extra 10 minutes for the Mac and cheese and when it got there it clearly looked like it had just been heated in the microwave. We didn’t even eat it. The airport is really nice. This place needs to improve their service and the quality of the food. Very bad. Do not recommend it.
