Opiniones de China Moon Miami
Wonderful food. Got it delivered. The woman I spoke to on the phone about my delivery status was very kind. Easy hand off. The food! So delicious. Clsssic egg drop soup, beef friend rice was cooked just the way I personally like it. I like my friend rice to be darker and they cook it that way here, which I love! The crab rangoons were great. The sauce was different than what I normally get at Chinese food places, but it was so great! I’m not from the area, but i hope to come here again when I am in the Miami area!
Killer food. Had a craving for dumplings and these were great value for the price. Talked to the owner when I was picking up and seemed like a cool guy, they are apparently doing a popup on Sundays with a new menu too.
Take out only with a few tables I had their lunch combination special the food was delicious filling portion size was excellent for underneath $10 charge $.50 extra to add a soup on the combination I asked him if he’d make it a bigger soup for and he did for a dollar more Wow very accommodating but the flavor of the chicken cashew was off the chain I wish this place had a place to sit down other than a few tables outside I guess they do a lot of delivery on South Beach but if you want a good Chinese food try this place you won’t be disappointed Yum and more Yum
Best Chinese take out on the beach, if you live in the area it’s faster to do a pick up, if not delivery is fine as well … staff always welcoming and friendly on the phone and make sure your order is accurate, they have a great selection of food options, quality/price is great, love eveything and Including their pad Thai, spicy chicken wings, wonton soups and dumplings!
I have lived two blocks from the restaurant for 5 years. I really like the variety of their menu. The only thing I advise is that the person who answers the phone be nicer. Speak slower and you have the option to speak in Spanish.
It’s on a great centric location in Miami Beach, with parking, very nice and fast to order. It’s great Chinese Food. Ask for Andrea!!!
Amazing energy and delicious food! Hidden gem in south beach. Theresa and Tish are top tier with service too!
This place is the absolute BESSSTTTTT!!! It has amazing service, and the food is unbelievable. Although it looks like the eat in seems crappy, it's not at all. You can go there with friends and family and will have a good time. You can eat inside or outside, and you feel like you have no worries when you are there. This is a must visit. Please go there and after rate it five stars because they deserve it. 3.2 stars is not accurate.
Went for the Sunday Dinners and was blown away by the food. Made me feel like I’d never had Chinese food before!
Every time we order from the person taking order on phone to delivery guy friendly we have use them for employee events also for individual orders food fresh and on point
Great food, great price, great guy, very smart and kind. Just an overall good experience! Excited to eat here again!
You can not find a better lunch for the price here on the west side of SoBe. These guys are amazing and the food keeps changing. I love to try different things at least once or twice a week!
If you're looking for some totally amazing eats you'll definitely want to check out China Moon. Service was great and their variety and selection is phenomenal. Always a great time at China Moon. Highly recommend.
This place has great food and the staff is amazing. Thank you Lynn for being patient with me trying to figure out what it is that I wanted to eat. Will be back.
This is great take out spot. They have friendly staff, and very quick food service. The food is always fresh, and some how they manage to make juicy yet crispy chicken. Unlink many American Chinese restaurants China Moon actually uses good quality meats, and you won't be biting into an empty shell of sauce covered mush. Pick up orders are consistently ready within 10 minutes or less.
Great service and staff. Their food tastes authentic and deliciously well made. I love this place. The owner and son are really nice. The restaurant is small but has enough seating for a party of four and it's very cozy for dining.
I didn't know about this place and I love it. Ordered for the very first time and it exceeded my expectations. The food was very good and the delivery person was very nice and friendly. I'm glad I found it. I'm definitely order from here the next time I want Chinese food. Thanks 😊
Came here with my daughter after she mentioned wanting Chinese for lunch. Was looking for a small, mom and pop restaurant and came across China Moon. We ordered lo mein, combination fried rice, and steamed dumplings and ate outside at their table. Everything was delicious
Picked up dinner here tonight and this was a typical fast Chinese takeout joint. On the positive the service was great! The guy working at the counter was extremely helpful with helping us to choose our order and the food came out extremely fast. A few things to watch out for is with the quick delivery of food I almost didn't check the bag and had to ask for chop sticks. So if this is important to you for chinese then make sure you request them. Also on the negative side I would say food quality is mediocre, but this was to be expected with it being a fast chinese joint. If I'm looking for Chinese again I will use here especially since I saw they only charge a dollar for delivery.
To survive as a restaurant in south beach is a thing to be proud of in and of itself- but this restaurant goes above and beyond. We live on south beach and avoided eating at this place because of reviews but were left confused after ordering their chengs chicken and Singapore noodles. As people who love food- thanks for taking care of us 💜
I order from China Moon any time I don’t want to cook. The food is always delicious and hot when delivered. My favorite place on the beach.
This is a standard, no frills Chinese takeout spot. But, boy is the food yummy. I grew up with my grandfather's amazing Chinese home cooking. We would walk to NYC's Chinatown to get ingredients and then I would stuff my face with his delectable creations. So, while nothing quite lives up to my memory of grampa's cuisine, this place really does chinese takeout justice. The sliced white meat chicken is juicy, and the tofu is well seasoned. Highly recommend the Chicken with Snow Peas and Mushrooms and the Ma Po Tofu. Also, their chicken soup is super decent. If you live in the area and are in need of a little chicken soup to get you through a cold, grab the large size and slurp your cold away.
delicious food, friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere. Specific examples of dishes, like Mongolian beef, dumplings, or House fried rice can be mentioned, along with positive comments about the restaurant's ambiance, whether it's cozy or not spacious. Reviews often praise fresh ingredients, generous portions, and reasonable prices.
I usually don’t write reviews we been here 3 different times in 2 weeks with my Grandparents the place doesn’t have ambience only 2 tables however the place is very clean u can see from counter I guess the new owners r Buddhist they don’t use ANY MSG OR ARTIFICIAL COLORS lot of veggies Broccoli peas carrots cabbage peepers onions incredible they r more into Healthy offerings , they use Hallal Chicken basically Organic we didn’t order Beef or Pork so we don’t know about that…, portions r very very Generous we ordered Family Pack 2 … it would cost over 200 on Ocean Drive … this was less than 70 and it was too much food … and not very authentic however delicious and healthy….. CHEAPEST FOOD ON THE BEACH NO COMPULSORY Gratuity the Lady is very nice although it was busy we ordered a certain way our food and she politely accepted and made although she doesn’t speak English..and she gave us free bottle water … We parked right in front for Free…we will b regulars hope they don’t change their process keep it this way ….
I ate there takeout eggplant w tofu yesterday. Have to call and order two more today for myself and a friend. It was the best Chinese food I have had that I can remember. Mr Chow’s at the W for $400 was a huge expensive disappointment but this place is a hidden gem. The honest best place with the most delightful lady at the counter to take my order. Gotta go and place my order for delivery now.
Visited my sister at Flamingo Towers Stopped by China Moon Ordered Chicken and Broccoli it was delicious good portion it was good for 2 meals ..parking was free place was busy with deliveries.. I had to wait good 25 mins but it was all Good..
.Only Chinese Food late nite till 10pm I stopped by to pick up food for my Mom we ordered house fried rice and Mongolian beef … Food was top notch we definitely will b regulars the portion was filled with protein large portions hope it stays that way… U can basically peep thru the kitchen looks very clean I wish they had more seats there were 6 people sitting inside and 8 outside.. I guess these r the new owners hope they keep the portion as it is and open early and close late … it was very helpful since the parking was Free and available…
China Moon in South Beach, Miami, was a fantastic find during my visit for Ultra Music Festival. I was staying nearby, and this little hole-in-the-wall spot was perfect for cheap, delicious Chinese takeout. The exterior might not look like much, but the food more than makes up for it—generous portions and all the classics, like General Tso's chicken and lo mein. With only two tables, it’s mainly for takeout, making it ideal for a quick meal after a long day. Perfect for a quick, flavorful bite without breaking the bank!
I went to the China Moon pop-up and was really impressed by the dishes. Our group had the scallion pancakes, taiwanese fried chicken, ma po tofu, double cooked pork belly, honey garlic chicken and it was hard to pick our favorite. It’s nice to see Miami finally catching up with Asian food from other major cities. Excited to come back!
Stop by here twice for some quick and cheap grub. Just hit the spot since I was here for the week working and it was close to my Airbnb. Good stuff and their giant size fried rice is great deal. Will be be back next time I’m in the area.
Buen sabor! Suficiente comida para 3-4 personas! Compré el Combo de $45 ! Muy recomendado
This is my go-to takeout place. The food is always prepared well and is available within 10 minutes if you don't need delivery. When I moved over from Brickell to South Beach I had to try a few different Chinese restaurants before finding this one. Definitely better than most take out on the beach.
This is a good local spot for Chinese food, its standard fare, but its all done well and of good quality. The restaurant is clean and pretty well run. Delivery is quick, prices are in line with SOBE.
This place is great for the value. Be warned, it's not a fancy Chinese restaurant with hispanic cooks in the kitchen. If you are from northern cities/states such as NYC or NJ, then this is the closest to home that you will find in Miami. The egg rolls are real egg rolls, not spring rolls like most of the restaurants in Miami try to pass off as egg rolls. FYI, the pink stuff in the egg rolls is shredded pork.. that's a real egg roll. If it's all veggies, it's a spring roll. There is a huge difference between the two. The other thing I like is the fried rice. They load it with pork, which I love. Their broccoli and other veggies rarely come soggy. The one bad thing is that every once and a while I do get soggy breaded chicken, but this is not unusual considering that the chicken is always sitting in a sauce. The delivery time will usually determine the freshness of the food. For the price and quality of the food, you can't get any better in South Beach. If your looking for upscale food, made by people who are far from Chinese, then look somewhere else. But if your looking for inexpensive, authentic Chinese food, then this is it.
UPDATE: THE FOOD IS AWESOME! They've responded with having different order takers. And have not had a problem.THANK YOU! I placed an order...the owner swiped my card, nothing happened, he swipes it again and again......he says he has a problem with his phone line....When i call the bank they tell me they have 4 transactions... I COULD HAVE HAD MY MONEY STOLEN RIGHT INFRONT OF ME!
I was visiting yesterday at 9.45 pm as the lady was closing I ordered the A Family pac Wow very fulfilling and the food was delicious good for 4 … cheapest meal in town… and gratuity is not compulsory...it’s basically a take out and I gave 4 stars since the place had only 6 seats., instead of 5 stars For the generous portion and price nothing to complain about…The lady was cooking and serving very polite ..
At least they were honest about MSG being present in the ingredients, cuz most people probably don't bother asking 🤷. Reminds me of one of those 'Hole in the wall' spots in NYC that I would only get Fried Chicken wings from cuz you definitely don't want to get to exquisite at spots like this.
Food is ok. I really wish they didn’t undercut my food experience by saving some Pennies on chopsticks… I need chopsticks 🥢 man! If I order Chinese the least you can do is put some chopsticks on my bag. Not only today, happens every time. So annoying to get home and find out you got to use a fork instead.
Sorry. Generally nice people and we've given it a few shots, but they should improve the food. Sometimes a bit cool so not always feeling as fresh as we'd like. I hope when we try it again in a year or so it is better because it's nice to sit outside on the parking lot and it is so close!
Ordered for delivery. No sauces. No rice. Was actually really good food, but will be wary of ordering again over incomplete items.
It used to be a good spot in the neighborhood for quick, comforting Chinese food. Not anymore. I got takeout for $50 worth of food that doesn't taste anything like it used to and doesn't even taste like Chinese food. Placing an order over the phone was a struggle of its own, because I don't speak fluent Spanish. This place closed down for a bit and then reopened. I guess the previous owners are not there anymore; that's why this "Chinese" food has all kinds of flavors but Chinese food. The wonton soup has way too much soy sauce in it. The chicken lo mein doesn't taste anything like it's supposed to. Crab rangoon served without sauce. Disappointing. I wish the previous owners were still in business. Alas, it will be the last time ordering there. It was good while it lasted.
CURRENT REVIEW MAY 2025- Under new ownership. There is no current menu online to order from. They no longer have our favorites we loved ordering. It seemed very confusing trying to place an order. REVIEW 5 YEARS AGO Fast delivery. Decent Chinese food. Great Eggrolls.
Was informed that the previous owners recently retired, and as such, the food quality has decreased, yet the prices have increased. Avoid this place until it's sold again.
New Management. Eggplant Garlic sauce my favorite for 10 years is no longer eatable. Raise prices and hire a decent chef.
Tight parking. Below average food. Was expecting better after reading reviews but maybe my expectations were distorted because I wanted good cheap Chinese food during visit here in Miami. Orange chicken was soggy and over sauced. Chicken pad Thai was horrible with a weird aftertaste. Soups were fine.
Flavor isn’t exactly the star 😬, but it gets the job done 🥡⚡—perfect for a quick Chinese food fix. Fast and convenient 🛒☕.
I’ve ordered from this place for years, but today was the last straw. The food they sent was ROTTEN. The soup smelled bad, tasted worse, and when I called them out they tried to lie and say they ‘put vinegar’ in it — clearly trying to cover up spoiled food. The ribs were dry and inedible. This is disgusting and dangerous. I’ll be reporting this place to the health inspector. Avoid this restaurant at all costs
Not the China Moon we loved in South Beach! So disappointed now that they are “under new management”! GROSS! When did fried dumplings become empanadas? Where is the sauce on the broccoli with chicken? Why is a main meal shrimp dish served with popcorn shrimp? Wow! They will lose a ton of frequent customers for sure. Barely eatable. Don’t waste your money.
This used to be my favorite neighborhood Chinese place. I was so excited to eat my hot and sour soup and fried rice, but unfortunately, they were both unrecognizable in look and taste. The soup looked like pure soy sauce- and it tasted like it also. The first photo is the soup with added water in it, because I tried to dilute it. So imagine it before. Absolutely inedible. The rice was just ok- edible compared to the soup, but I’m now done and feel like I just put way too much soy sauce in my system. My husband also didn’t like his chicken noodle soup. I called to complain and the woman who answered the phone then divulged that there is new management. This is a huge disappointment for us as China Moon used to have the best fried rice ever! Will miss this place so much. :(
House lo mein with chicken broccoli egg roll ragoons and egg drop soup It’s a big no for me, ragoons taste fishy not sweet at all. The chicken broccoli is horrible bland taste gooey you can taste the animal , lo mien is dry and bland egg roll taste plastic egg drop soup taste like you’re eating yolk no season in any of the foods and the hot oil just oil. Nothing hot about it. Never again!
Supposedly this is fried rice but it looks like soup, I don't think the new owners know it's Chinese food.
This is the first time I've found myself in such a strange situation! As usual in such cases, we made an order online, paid, and received an email confirmation. But when we went to get food, we found an abandoned place! The doors were closed, the lights were out, and there was no one there! Ridiculous! Usually, if a place is closed, there is a time limit for online orders - it says that this time is unavailable and that the opening time is then. But not here! I wrote a response to the email, through which I received a confirmation and asked what's going on. But two weeks have passed, and I still haven't received a response. Is that even possible?? You get money and that's it?! We contacted the bank to make a chargeback. Scam, do not recommend!
The worst so called chinese food we have ever attempted to eat.charged us 5 dollars for delivery and the food went right into the garbage and had to reorder from a different restaurant
Looks like they have a new owner or administration and the food is terrible.I had been coming to this place for more than twenty years and now is not even 3% of China Moon was. This is not Chinese food anymore . Save your trip to the beach, not worthed.
They just lost a customer. Their customer service is terrible. Their service is terrible and the person in the phone. Some gentleman is very rude. Do not go to this establishment and the food is lousy low quality.
Never ever ever ever again, I ordered bourbon chicken for $10 and they sold me a plate of rice and vegetables I did not ask for and I called back to tell them that they gave me a plate of vegetables instead of bourbon chicken and the very rude mans answer was he was not refunding me because I took it out of the restaurant already smh they are rip offs and you don’t know what your getting till you open the plate. This place is horrible and customer service is the worst I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GO TO THIS PLACE AT ALL . And if I could they would get 0 stars from me
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this place was terrible: -Fried Wantons: They had no filling! Just fried squares of dough! How do you even call those wantons? -Chicken with broccoli: That's all you get - sliced chicken, chunks of broccoli. Not even any sauce, no salt, a few slices of carrot, and that's it. No flavor at all. -They forgot the rice, but by the time I realized it, I'd already tried the wantons and chicken with broccoli and decided it wasn't even worth it And it wasn't cheap, either -- we got the larger (quart) sizes, but two entrees and the side of wantons was $25.00 For what it's worth, my companion had the Szechuan chicken and said it was okay. I would have gone back to ask for a refund but I get the sense it would have been an epic battle. I did take-out, but I the cashier was asking telephone orders to pre-pay the driver's tips on the delivery orders, so that other reviewer was right about that.
Food did not taste right. Didn’t taste like Chinese food. Sesame chicken was too salty and drinks wasn’t cold. Rice was hard and the price that I payed for was to much for a lunch meal. Two lunch meal came out to 21 dollars. Didn’t make any sense .
We order food for the first time and will be the last time. the rice smell like smoke and the egg rolls suck. The worst food ever. I call to let them know, they care less. One star is toooooo much.
Used to get this place a lot but the food today was horrible. General tso’s was black and so salty I couldn’t even finish half.
Ordered shrimp fried rice .. got about 4 super tiny pieces of shrimp ....called to complain and they accused me of eating the shrimp. Told them that in St.Louis they actually put shrimp in their shrimp fried rice, he told me to buy it there next time...
I ordered chicken and broccoli for delivery and the dish was 20% chicken / 80% broccoli. Obviously trying to save money on their part. If I ever order from them again (which is unlikely), I will not be including any vegetables in the future. Proceed with caution.
The food is great except I’ve been calling for the past 30 minutes and they put me on hold, never picked up to take my order, now I called back and they pick and hang up. They could just say “we don’t have delivery today “ and be done with it. This is just rude, strange and unnecessary.
The food was awesome, used to come once a week. Now that it is under new management , the food is terrible. Beside the young lady help me who was awesome. The place has gone down.
This place used to be solid. Then they changed management and took the delicious items off of the menu. Like the Egg Foo Young for example. You can get better Chinese food at Trader Joe’s
2 hr delivery time and then the food is just bad. The crispy scallion pancake was doughy and limp. The panfried dumplings were undercooked. The egg roll had no flavor and the sesame chicken was dried out with a salty sauce. I gave this place a try despite some negative reviews, and I regret it. Next time I'll just throw $30 in the trash.
Pretty bad. I went for a lunch special and got general tso's chicken.. No spice to it, soggy, chicken looked like it was from the night before and it didn't smell appetizing. The egg roll had a completely different taste to it compared to any other egg roll I've ever tried, and looked different. Had a lot of pink stuff inside. Overall unhappy I had to waste my lunch on this. Maybe the birds will enjoy the leftovers. And the best part of the lunch was my can of Coca Cola.
If I could place 0 stars I would do it, I made an order to pick up a rice with chicken and they gave me a rice with shrimp which I cannot eat because I am allergic to shrimp, I ate rice and my throat started to itch in That moment I decided to check and I had shrimp which I made sure they were careful because I am very allergic ... thank God I only ate less than a tablespoon and I was able to medicate in time but if I got to touch the shrimp I could die. When calling and making the claim they were rude and they hung up on me really very irresponsible I definitely do not recommend it.
We bought a chicken noodle soup and special fried rice....it was awful. Soup was just water with noodle so salty, and the fried rice HORRIBLE!!!
We didn't like the food 👎 It used to be good, but I think this restaurant changed owners or they changed the chef. We were really looking forward to eating there, but what a disappointment with the food
Really bad service NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN . I asked to pay with Apple Pay before placing the order for delivery they confirmed and said yes . When they got here with the food the man said his machine was broken and couldn’t do apple pay . He didn’t give me any solution even when i called 2 times to ask if i can pay with the phone, when it’s their fault for giving wrong information . he took the food with him and didn’t apologize or anything !! When he probably will just throw it away . This is Unacceptable
Disappointed. Second try in a few month spin and I have to say they failed again. First time I ordered shrimp with veggies and it’s only had broccoli for vegetable. Today same story, snow peas and mushroom and there no mushrooms at all.... taste is pretty bland too. How do they even stay in business....never again....
First....the parking lot and the restaurant needs a deep cleaning. Secondly...the orange beef was tough as beef jerky. The szechuan shrimp sauce was bland...no heat, no pizzaz. I asked another patron why does he go there. His response was...NOT TOO MANY CHOICES. I am not a fan of frozen dinners by PF CHANGS BUT it is far better. I shared i couldnt eat broccoli. There was no offer of a substitution. A sad and expensive experience.
Me and my family have eaten here plenty of times before but we recently found out they changed ownership. They completely destroyed the quality of food that was being served here. The spare ribs were completely oversauced and the fried rice was bland and tasted nothing like fried rice... Unfortunately this place will not last and I will never eat here again.
I was so excited to eat here. I’ve lived on the beach on an offer for 15 years and used to eat here very long ago. I ordered this for myself, husband and daughter. While the food was OK, the interior waiting area and ordering area has a lot left to be desired and looks kind of grimy and dirty. I love an hole in the wall, and was hoping this had become such. Onto the food, the flavors were fine, I ordered the entire menu of their special Sunday dinner. Unfortunately we all got minor food poisoning within 12 hours and were sick for two days, never again, so bummed!
For many years, it was my favorite Chinese restaurant. It seems they changed owners, and the food is nowhere near Chinese anymore. The fried rice has bell pepper, and the Mongolian beef just tastes like stewed meat... never again.
Got take here: chicken and broccoli dinner special and large wonton soup. First of all, when I called I was told that the dinner special did not come with fried rice only white rice and soup was extra, despite what their website which was updated 5 days prior stated. Second, the wonton soup came in very dark broth. When I tasted it it tasted like they used an entire bottle of soy sauce to season it. Extremely salty! When I saw the chicken and broccoli, I thought a mistake had been made and the gave me beef and broccoli because the meat was so dark! But no it was chicken, extremely overcooked dry chicken and again very salty due to excessive amount of soy
It’s not the same China Moon. The fried rice looks like a mix of spanish sauce and soy. The meats were fatty. Anyway, not the same quality. They have a line cook instead of a chef. We didn’t even finish eating.
They were unjustifiably rude to a repeated customer. The restaurant could not figure out delivery for 90 minutes when I was told delivery was for 20 minutes. That, in itself, is not the problem. When I called to tell them that we were going to cancel the order because of the delay and would like a refund, they just hung up on me and refused to pick up the phone afterwards. I had to call several times before they got tired and picked up the phone to confirm that I would receive a refund. If this is how you treat your repeating customers, then you do not deserve our business or anyone’s business for that matter.
I ate here Dec 7th for the first time. I was hoping it would be a reliable take out spot but I was terribly disappointed. I can make better fried rice with my eyes closed. Don’t waste your time eating there.
Food was awful.I ordered eighty dollars worth of food and not one part of it was acceptable. Everything was overcooked dry and so difficult to eat that. I thought I might be eating jerky... Or cat or dog. They charged me $2 50.Each diet coca cola can. Stay away from this rip-off. The food that is shown and presented in their advertising for their meals is very misleading.... Shame on you for being a rip-off.
I ordered honey garlic chicken, which should be on the chicken. Instead they give this very tiny cup of honey garlic to spread on their tasteless chicken nuggets. Brutal! The pork fried rice tastes burnt. Very disappointed. Just awful taste.
This is, without doubt, the worst Chinese food I have ever had in my life! The "Sweet and Sour Pork" was nothing more than dried cubes of overcooked pork, with a radio-active looking red sauce in a separate container. That was it! No vegetables of any kind whatsoever (how about some pineapple, onion, and bell pepper at least). Likewise, the "Kung Pao Chicken" was just cubes of chicken! No peanuts, nothing! The Pepper Beef did have peppers and onions, but it was hard to find the beef!
We ordered 3 different dishes and the quality and taste of the food was uneatable after new ownership took over. We had to return the food and request a refund. We will never recommend this place.
Food was honestly horrible, we ordered $70 worth of food. Only good part of dinner was the white rice. 5 big Dooms
It is 0 stars!!!!!! The 5 stars was for the previous business!!! They were fabulous!!! I miss my Chinese food once a week!!! They were New owners & I didn’t like the food. It was unedible for me. It looks the business is closed down. Don’t order online. Call them!!! It looks like the business closed down!!!! Saw some people taking pictures of closed business. DO NOT ORDER ONLIBE UNTIL You check to make sure THEY ARE Open!!!
DISGUSTING , krab ragoons taste super fishy and the rice is nasty! very oily and no flavor. Overpriced too. I’m pretty sure there was hair on my food. -10
Best on the beach....NOT ANYMORE..... It a very sad day for me to redo my review. I have been coming here for years. It WAS the best Chinese food on the beach. They have now changed ownership. The food is low quality. The taste is gone. They got the order wrong. And the guy who 1st answered the phone OMG so RUDE...If he worked for me I would have fired him...The owner or manager not sure his true title but he offered it to me for free. That was the only thing that was good. Had I paid for it I would have canceled my CC payment. STAY AWAY. STAY STAY STAY AWAY 😡🙃😥
I live a few blocks away and this used to be my go to. They have these lunch and dinner specials and was pretty affordable and the food was good, now they changed ownership and raised the prices and the food quality is worse than 7 day old trash What a shame. And it seems like they don't care at all, that's Crazy to me. If this was my business I wouldn't sleep til this restaurant is the best of the best
So disappointed ☹️ my food was heated in a microwave. Peas looked old in the fried rice , sesame chicken had no sesame…..Chicken wings were soggy and no sauce. So sad 😞 $30 in the trash can. First time there and will never go back. Egg roll was burnt and tasted stale. Wow , what a disappointment.
This is used to be the best Chinese food spot on South Beach. NOT ANYMORE. The food is overcooked and badly presented. When we saw the food , we were not happy and asked for a refund but were refused. It tasted worse than it looks and it's clear the pictures on Google are not of the meals they prepare .We ended up throwing away over $40 of food. Avoid this shop.
I ordered a few times from the previous ownership and was very happy. The new ownership has been there for about a month. This is the first time I have ordered from the new ownership. I don’t like writing negative reviews but, as a former business owner, the new owner needs to know the shortfalls of his business. This is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. There is no way the new cooks have experience cooking Chinese food. The hot & sour soup was neither hot nor sour. It was water and soy sauce, and almost all broth. The pepper steak combination was terrible as well. On top of this, they charged about $10 more for what I bought than previous ownership did. AND only included white rice with the combination, $2 extra for fried rice. AND did not include a small soup with the combination, like previous owners did. The guy I dealt with was very nice. But, I can guarantee if the new owners don’t make changes quickly, they will be out of business in two months. I wish them luck.
The most disgusting food I’ve ever had in Miami. I called, I was nice, and not even an apology was given. The food was inedible, the only good part of the whole transaction was the Door Dash delivery service.
By far the worst Chinese food ever China moon was my favorite for years on Miami Beach. I was driving down Alton I wanted to get a snack and I’ve been craving great Chinese food so I said oh let me stop at China Moon. Well I had no idea that they changed ownership The counter guy was awesome. Very polite. Great service. The food was awful. I mean, not only was it awful. They got my order wrong. I’m allergic to shellfish and they gave me shellfish in my fried rice. The gentleman behind the counter took care of it right away, but honestly, I didn’t even want them to make it over? I just took it to be polite. I’m gonna have to find a new Chinese restaurant and this is the only one on South Beach so that means I’m driving to China Star in Hallandale
Worst Chinese food ever - not authentic, ingredients aren’t fresh, just doesn’t taste good. This place used to be good until owners changed
Absolutely disappointed. This place used to be amazing under the old ownership, but ever since the new management took over, it’s gone completely downhill. The food is terrible! Bland, greasy, and just completely lacking the flavor and quality you’d expect from a decent Chinese restaurant. To make things worse, the prices are outrageously high for what you get. It’s honestly shocking how bad the food is now and it feels like they’ve never even tasted real Chinese food, let alone know how to cook it. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. If I could give zero stars, I would. What a waste.
