Dine under the sea at Coral Reef, where Epcot meets exotic oceanic wonders
Classy, Epcot Center outpost featuring gourmet seafood meals amid aquariums with exotic sea animals.
Coral Reef Restaurant is praised for its unique atmosphere with views of an aquarium. Many reviewers loved the food, especially the seafood options. Ho Phi and Jeff are frequently mentioned as providing excellent service.
Tip: Request a table next to the aquarium for the best view. Reservations are highly suggested.

10/12/2025 Had dinner here and ordered the snapper. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. There's an aquarium inside of it which was cool to see! I was hoping I could pick out the fish I was going to eat. They had several sharks in there and an old sea turtle which I didn't see. We had the dark chocolate birthday cake too which was delicious and enough for 8 people!!! I would recommend stopping here for dinner and a birthday celebration.
We had an excellent meal at the Coral Reef! Our server, Karen, went above and beyond and was very attentive to our kids. We loved the food, and they gave us large portions for lunch. We ordered the Grilled Snapper, Coastal Palm Cakes, and Caribbean Salad. Everything was very tasty, nice presentation and flavorful. There was minimal wait time (due to Food and Wine fest) so it was a great time to try this restaurant. My kids loved the steak, mac and cheese and the coconut ice cream kids dessert is not to be missed. It definitely was a highlight at Epcot to be able to dine while watching all the marine life swim by!
Coral Reef Restaurant at EPCOT was an excellent dining experience and a surprisingly relaxing break from the pace of the park. What really sets this restaurant apart is the massive aquarium wall that runs alongside most of the dining room. Watching sea turtles, rays, sharks, and schools of fish glide by while you eat turns a simple meal into something memorable, especially if looking for a quieter, air-conditioned escape during summer months. The food itself exceeded expectations for a sit-down restaurant. Seafood is clearly the focus, and it shows , the fish was well prepared, flavorful, and not overly heavy. Portions were satisfying without being overwhelming, which is ideal if you plan to keep walking the park afterward. Service was attentive without being rushed, which helped the meal feel like a genuine dining experience rather than just another reservation to get through. Request a table next to the aquarium glass when you check in, not when you book. Hosts can’t guarantee it, but polite requests often help. Lunch tends to be easier to snag than dinner and still offers the same atmosphere. Again, this is a great spot to schedule during peak heat or mid-afternoon when EPCOT crowds feel overwhelming. Overall, Coral Reef strikes a great balance between atmosphere and quality food. It’s not just a novelty restaurant , it’s a solid choice for a calm, visually stunning meal inside EPCOT, especially for couples or anyone needing a reset during a long park day.
We ordered the Jamaican wings, and surf and turf with the key lime tart for dessert. I didn’t feel it was super dark like some other reviews. Marcus was our server and he did a good job making suggestions and keeping our drinks full. Dining by the aquarium was a nice experience. We used the Annual Pass dinner discount that was available which I feel is the right value for the food served. I don’t think I would need to go back unless running the summer promotion again.
I love fish and aquariums so this restaurant was super fun for me! The food was really good, the drinks were great and the service was excellent. The keylime pie was not my favorite but everything else was super fun! THE BREAD! I loved the bread
What a fantastic place to eat! Dillon was our server and he was absolutely on it never left us wanting. The view of the 2nd largest aquarium in the states is astounding. We had the coconut shrimp, snapper, surf & turf and everything was spectacular. If you're in Epcot this place is a must.
This was my first experience at Coral Reef Restaurant on 2/9/25. We had a midday reservation and were greeted as soon as we entered the door. After checking in, we were seated within 7 minutes. Our booth wasn’t right against the aquarium window but it was 1one row back which allowed us to have a good view without people looking at us to see the fish. The service was top notch and what you would expect from Disney. From the delicious offerings to peaceful atmosphere, we had a great lunch! I got the shrimp fettuccine and my friends got the surf & turf and the grilled mahi. The food came out quickly and was so delicious! I first thought my got duped because it looked like I hardly had any food in my bowl. However, the bowl was much deeper and the food was very delicious. I was stuffed after finishing. My friends and I will be back in the future!
Highly suggest reservations! The atmosphere is amazing, portions less than expected for the price but very good food. Staff are very friendly and glad to tell you about the fish swimming by your table.
I am giving 5 stars based on the overall value of this experience, to receive couple drinks, filet mignon and a dessert for little over than hundred bucks. It’s very fair value and to take a break from the heat outside and enjoy beautiful ambience and atmosphere of America second largest aquarium at priceless experience..

What a fantastic place to eat! We started with the lobster bisque (so flavorful), coconut shrimp, and Jamaican spice rum glazed wings—each one delicious. For the main course, the surf and turf was spot on—the 6oz filet was cooked to perfection. I was in vacation mode and topped it all off with a Mai Tai. Our server, Ilham, was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Everything from the food to the atmosphere made for a great experience. If you’re in Epcot, definitely make time for this spot!
Amazing! Beautiful view of the aquarium while you eat and the food was incredible! Best meal I had my entire trip to Orlando! Jeff was our server and he was great! Excellent service, food recommendations, and interesting facts about some of the rescued sea life in the aquarium. We will absolutely eat here next time we are in Epcot! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Here now 2/28/2026 the service with Daniel has been great. The food (surf and turf) one of the best meals we have had at Disney. Was unsure when booking because I had seen mixed reviews. Would highly recommended.
Recently I saw a ton of people on social media discussing how horrible coral reef was. I was shocked because I had always liked it, but hadn’t eaten there in a few years so my family and I decided to give it another try today. I’m not sure what everyone was complaining about, but we all highly enjoyed our time there. The pineapple bread - wonderful. It was flakey and warm and delicious. I had the shrimp fettuccine - flavorful and delicious and the sauce was perfect - not too thick and overbearing. My husband and daughter also enjoyed their meals (surf and turf and the seafood boil). It is a beautiful restaurant, our server was super attentive, and the food was excellent (and came out very quickly the week of Christmas none the less!) Would highly recommend!

We were happy to find a dinner reservation to try this highly recommended restaurant in Epcot! It’s def a cool atmosphere with the gigantic aquarium that is an entire side of the restaurant! The decorations are ocean inspired too & adds to the ambience. I like that the seating is like a theater do every table has a view of the aquarium. The food was average & a tiny bit pricey. We ordered Mac & cheese off kids menu, the grilled snapper (kinda dry but tasty) & shrimp fettuccine which was typical & good. We also ordered the fun light up kids drink, a glass of wine & coconut shrimp as an appetizer.
We were able to be added to the walk-up list with a 10-minute wait for a 3pm lunch. We checked in, and our table was ready immediately. Our hostess showed us to our table, which was in the middle row of the restaurant. The rows of tables are on different levels, providing everyone a good view of the aquarium. The environment had dimmed lighting but was not too dark. It was quiet...a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the theme park. It was a bonus to be able to watch the sea animals and fish in the aquarium while we waited for our meal. Our server was friendly and responsive. The menu provided a nice array of beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The bread and butter is complimentary and is similar to what you find at the Polynesian restaurants. My spouse ordered the lobster bisque and enjoyed it. We also both enjoyed our surf and turf entrees, which consisted of three shrimp, steak, mashed potatoes, and grilled yellow and red peppers. We found the serving size satisfying and on par with Disney prices.
Had a 6:30pm reservation. Checked in early and was sat right away. Had a lovely view of 2 of the aquarium windows and coukd see a lot. Nice sized both we fit 3 adults in it but it was set for 5 which if it was 5 adults may feel like your on top of each other. Bread was good but almost seemed stale on the outside a weird crunch that just seemed a bit stiff. Sweet like Hawaiian role and the butter had a sweetness as well but all in all wasn't that bad. The coconut shrimp was nice size with a good crunch from the coconut breading and the mango salsa complimented it well. Subbed the shrimp from chicken on the fettuccine which still worked. There was a lot of sauce which I love and a nice lemon after taste that worked with the creaminess of the sauce. The chicken was plain very little seasoning but I think it worked well that way with the sauce. Friends got the salad and soup as an entree and enjoyed them both, did say the salad with the plantain chips/dressing/capers it was a but on the salty side. The bisque was flavorful and creamy with a nice lobster flavor. The mojo chicken was juicy and flavorful and the plantain chips added a nice crunch to go with the rice beans and chicken. The dessert were perfection. The key lime tart was flavorful, light and that perfect tart flavor. The bread pudding was to die for. The ice cream atop the crusty outside but gooey inside was perfect. The Carmel rum sauce was an excellent addition that wasn't to sweet and complimented bothe the bread pudding and the vanilla ice cream perfectly. I know some say the portions are small but I think they were just right I was able to eat my entire meal and almost all the dessert and was full but not overflowing. And when your headed back to the park you don't really want to carry leftovers. Is a little but more on the pricier side of things but overall I think it was a good meal with an original atmosphere with watching the aquarium occupants swimming by.
The grilled snapper was delicious, the mango salsa was a nice addition to the dish. We were seated facing the aquarium, such a nice experience to see while dining.
Was really hoping for a perfect experience. For the price, the portions are very small. My Snapper was so tiny and on a massive bed of cheap rice. The sauce was good and it was the topping as the tiny and over fried coconut shrimp, definitely not worth the $35. This was a Mother's Day dinner and my wife and daughter ordered the Shrimp Fettuccine. They said it was good and the pasta was homemade as stated by our waiter. However, there were 6 31-40 count size shrimp on one order and only 3 on the other! So, no one is really counting or concerned with presentation and for $35, it's a crapshoot. Finally, the tank is ok, but it's just a small portion and less viewing area than you should expect. Plus, there's no dress code so your going to get the same rude guest appearance and temperament that you find at the park, just indoors.... there's a reason this one doesn't show up on any top lists on Google or in travel sites. We won't be doing it again.

My family enjoyed eating at the Epcot's Coral Reef. The food was good, even though the steak was overcooked. The host staff were overwhelmed and struggling, but the server was amazing!! Theming was good, but we were seated 4 rows away from the aquarium tank with an onstructed view, which was a major bummer as the aquarium feature was the main reason to eat here. Unfortunately not everyone can get a good view. Manage your expectations.
I’m not sure why this place is so hard to get a reservation other than it is unique dining next to an aquarium but the food is sub par and pricy. The seating is varied and you might not even get a good view of the aquarium. Service is just ok. They are trying to make it seem exciting but lacking overall. Everything we ordered was wrong and requested changes we’re not made. Overall huge disappointment and a place I would not recommend eating at. You would be better eating at the quick service spots in Epcot. Or eat in one of the countries for a better authentic meal.

We had reservations for Coral Reef. The decor is nice and you get a view of the aquarium. We had a very nice and personable waiter Paul, but that's where the good experience ended. The woman who actually brought out our food (Katy or Kaly), large woman, thick glasses, brunette, two buns in the back of her hair slammed our food down at the table so hard and fast that the food almost slid off my plate and onto my lap. The grilled chicken in the kids meal was dry and flavorless. The broccoli was basically raw. The shrimp fettuccine had no seasoning or butter. Several of us got the braised short rib, which came highly recommended. It was good. Food was very pricey for the quality. Overall, there are just too many other good restaurants at Disney to come here again.
You are totally paying for the experience because the food is average. Very limited menu. Our service seemed rushed. It is outrageously over priced, but you are paying for the experience and IMO it…
If you want to charge these prices, you might need to reconsider the restaurant and the food. The interior feels completely outdated (let's say you call it nostalgic—fine), but the portions are incredibly small and the prices are very high. The fettuccine shrimp tasted good. We also had the snapper — it was very small, and the mango sauce didn’t really go well with it. Also, when the bread arrived, I thought what came with it was butter, but it turned out to be the sweetest, candy-like “butter” I’ve ever seen.

The restaurant itself is nice and its cool to see the fish and sharks etc but the cost for the portion size is not fair at all. I get its disney and all but $45 for 3 shrimp and small piece of meat and scoop of potatoes had me bending over... Service was ok. Asked for no ice in the drink and got ice and took forever for a refill. I guess that's always a tough one when I go places. I also looked at the other portion sizes from other tables and im glad I didn't get the shrimp fettuccine because I would have been super upset with how little they give you. We ate at 4pm and i was ready to go get dinner somewhere right after my meal, not dessert lol. Overall, nice restaurant and cool concept but I wont be back unfortunately.
We had an 8:00 PM dinner reservation at Coral Reef Restaurant yesterday evening. I want to start by saying the food itself was fine. The lobster bisque and the grilled snapper were both good and met our expectations. However, the service was unfortunately one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had at Disney. After being seated, no one came to greet us, explain the menu, or even offer water. We waited roughly 10 minutes at the table without any acknowledgement from staff. We eventually had to signal multiple times before a server came over. Once we placed our order, the food arrived quickly — but aside from dropping off the dishes, we received virtually no service for the remainder of the meal. At one point we asked a passing server for two glasses of water. She said “ok” and never returned. We later had to locate the original server who took our order just to receive water. Throughout the entire dinner there were no check-ins, no “how is everything,” and no offer of dessert or post-meal service. The overall feeling was that our table had simply been forgotten. We understand restaurants get busy, but basic attentiveness — especially at a Disney signature dining location — should be a minimum standard. While the food was acceptable, the lack of service significantly impacted the experience. Because of the service alone, I can only rate this visit 2 stars.

We went to the restaurant and we had ordered 15 parathaas and we waited. When we asked after 40mins, the manager forgot about it. They brought the other food out late as well.
So bad. What not recommend. Had the mahi, mahi. My wife had the steak which seemed very processed. All food was warm at best. Also over priced. Paid 150 for 2 adults and two kids. Just mains. No s…

The Seas with Nemo & Friends.
