We honestly would have eaten more but had actually eaten a late lunch forgetting at first of our dinner plan. Regardless, our four year old and two year old children devoured all of these dishes along with us and absolutely loved them. We actually ordered extra pasta to take home for the next day it was that good. Not to mention the immaculate vibes, gorgeous dining room, beautifully done bar and wonderful staff. This place deserves a spot on my weekly rotation for sure! There is also great outdoor seating which is where we dined as the inside was packed when we arrived. I’ve already planned my next visit for lunch. I’ll get a filet salad at the bar maybe share a pasta and watch a game with my husband over some drinks. Perhaps I’ll try out the brunch another day with some girlfriends. The only thing I wish went differently is that I took the time out from eating to take some better photos! Cucina Moderna in Fort Lauderdale absolutely exceeded our expectations! The Chicken Parm was one of the best I’ve had perfectly breaded, flavorful, and cooked just right! We substitute the sauce for vodka sauce recommeneded by the manager and it was a hit! The Alfredo pasta was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, and the pizza had that perfect balance of crispy crust and fresh toppings. On top of the great food, the service was outstanding. The staff was attentive from start to finish, and Manager Luis deserves special recognition he made us feel genuinely welcomed and took the time to check in and make sure everything was perfect. Overall, an incredible dining experience. Highly recommend!

Portions are generous, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable considering the quality and quantity you get. The restaurant is also wheelchair accessible, making it welcoming, convenient, and comfortable for everyone. The atmosphere is fun and full of great vibes. Daytime attire is casual, while evenings call for dressing with a bit more respect and style. Take-away is available, and it’s a great spot to meet friends for drinks and laughs… but you’ll stay for the food. Highly recommend!

Had Dinner with the husband. I ordered the lasagna and a few other things. It was The best. Just the right about of salt. The taste was perfect. I also had Paloma and that drink was Drinky 😉. Pricing was good. They had a DJ that night and it definitely set the tone for the evening. The flower wall was the cutest. In a sea of Italian spots around here, this one actually stands out. Tried it for the first time and went straight for my go-to Chicken Francese, and they nailed it. It moved ahead of a lot of others in the area. “Jackie Squared” at the bar, both were awesome, attentive, fun, and truly knowledgeable about the dishes. We wrapped up with a solid tiramisu. What a great new addition to Fort Lauderdale dining! Cucina Modena is a tucked-away Italian restaurant located under the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is beautiful — tastefully decorated and enhanced by live music. The service was amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious. I also heard that Ladies’ Night will be on Thursdays! On the last leg of our girls trip to Florida we decided to visit Cucina Moderna Restaurant at 721 N Federal Fort Lauderdale after a simple Google search “food near me Italian”. I understand it’s recently (a few weeks) opened location, not sure if it’s the only one. Parked in the paid parking garage and walked across the street to a fun looking restaurant within what looks like a strip mall of sorts. Immediately I enjoyed the ambience! We were welcomed as we walked in and were seated right away. It was about 7pm on a Saturday. It seemed appropriately busy for a new restaurant/location. We sat outside. Perfect for the November weather. Our server Nataly was so awesome! We loved her enthusiasm, energy, knowledge, menu recommendations but mostly the connection she made with us! I loved that she gave us recommendations on where to visit within the city and shared some personal experiences of the town. We ordered the lasagna, cheese ravioli with alla vodka sauce (it was slightly over salted in my opinion but my sister thought it was perfect) and the baked ziti. Nataly recommended a salad for the table - the house salad was delicious. Also! The table bread was focaccia. Mmmm 😋 with oil and vinegar! Looked baked in house. I’m excited for the extras we took with us. Well take Nataly’s recommendation on serving it for breakfast with a nice fried egg atop! There was a little hiccup with the order; Nataly inquired right away and fixed it immediately! The manager (?) did hover in the corner and also inquired after overhearing our table talk conversation. We told him the issue & he did comp that plate. It wasn’t necessary but we very much appreciated that!! It did make us feel a tad uncomfortable that he blamed Nataly (even if it was her fault- it makes it awkward when you as the customer feel like you’ve gotten someone into trouble for a human mistake) instead of simply apologizing and letting us know he’d help get the situation resolved quickly. I’m not sure of this, but we had a new staff person serve us after until I asked for Nataly back. I thought that was an odd decision for management to make. We ended the night with some delicious dessert! We couldn’t decide so we ordered the tiramisu, coconut cream pie & the cannoli! All three were delicious!! Also, the team was generous enough to validate our parking. And we appreciated the extra hour! We were ultimately treated very kindly & left feeling like we were important to them. I would go back, if I’m in Florida again, and Nataly was there!!

I came in on a busy night with some of my friends, the food and atmosphere was great but the service was impeccable! Nataly was our server and she completely changed the energy she had us smiling and ready to have a great night . She was very attentive and patient with us at the same time . 100% coming back and definitely recommend Nataly to everyone.

My family and I went to eat to this new restaurant today and the spot was on point! I ordered Penne à la vodka and we also had a fettuccini Alfredo with chicken. This is a great spot if you’re craving tasty Italian food in a relaxed setting. The pasta dishes are rich and flavorful, the New York style pizzas come out perfectly crisp, and the Bruschetta Pomodoro is a must-try. Portions are generous, the staff is super friendly, and the whole place has a cozy, easygoing vibe that makes it perfect for a casual night out.

Our server, Samantha, was a dream. As was our food. This was our first visit, but it won’t be our last. The calamari melted in our mouths. And the pizza was very crispy and yummy. My dining partners all had different things and all were loving it. Go for the food and atmosphere and you’ll fall in love.

Went to cucina for some food and drinks and had great time. Sat the bar and got greeted by Nicole who suggested chicken parm and rustic shrimp. The food and service was phenomenal. I have been here quite a bit as I work remote and it’s convenient to my new place being a new transplant and trying to find my way. We had an amazing experience at the beautiful new Cucina Moderna in Fort Lauderdale! From the moment we sat down, our bartender Nicole made the night unforgettable. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and helped us choose the perfect dishes. Nicole’s drinks were absolutely phenomenal—easily some of the best we’ve had anywhere. Her attention to detail, friendly personality, and genuine passion for what she does truly elevated our experience. If you’re visiting Cucina Moderna, do yourself a favor and sit with Nicole. The atmosphere was absolutely perfect. I ordered something simple, marinara with pasta and truffle fries, but the execution was anything but ordinary. Everything tasted refined and thoughtfully prepared. I’ve dined at some of the best Italian establishments, and this place is right up there with them, if not better. My servers/bartenders, Nicole and Fabricio, were exceptionally attentive and genuinely friendly. David, who I believe is a manager and possibly the host as well, was equally outstanding. The entire team made me feel truly welcomed. I will absolutely be returning many times.

I had the steak special that Nataly recommended. It was amazing and the pasta Fagioli was out of control delicious. Overall, the atmosphere was truly wonderful and I love everybody’s vibe over here. I love the decoration and how attentive the staff is. I’m celebrating my birthday here for sure! Everybody needs to come and try this place out! 5 star!

Amazing service & good food! Servers were very attentive and nice. Rachael and Ian were our servers. It looks like they have a good “sunset menu” which is an early bird special but we missed that as it ends at 6 pm. Had the chicken picatta which was good.

Incredible service, food is outstanding and the atmosphere is great, Our experience was amazing. Natalie is exceptional ask for her, she recommended us the Salmon puttanesca which was delicious, we shared a crispy calamari and a margherita pizza. I just couldn’t choose a favorite one, thanks for having us. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful restaurant with great food and service as well! If you park in the building in the front they validate your ticket for about 3 hours. Our server Jorge was the best. He’s been kind and helpful with excellent recommendations. Definitely coming back!! Jorge we will ask for you again!

Our first opportunity to check out our new neighborhood restaurant! Very pleased across the board. Reasonable prices, tasty food, nice wine selection, and Mitch and Stephanie at the bar were over the top in terms of service. We will definitely be back again.

After getting hoe’d by Hatch across the way me and my girlfriend decided to try out Cucina Moderna. This was the happiest accident I’ve had recently. The staff were impeccable and made sure our needs were met and drinks stayed full, but the shining star here was the food. Every dish was phenomenal. We began with the meatballs and calamari. The meatballs had the perfect blend of meat and we were pleasantly surprised st the fact that the ricotta on top had actually been seasoned. The remoulade and marinara were a perfect pairing for a wonderfully fried calamari. We moved on to the Carbonara and their take on a clam chowder. While I had, and loved, the Carbonara the clam chowder was absolutely out of this world. I could not recommend this place enough. Will be going back next time I’m in the area for sure.

We were greeted the hostesses immediately and seated right away. Our waitress, Evalyna, was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu, a real pro! The food was delicious and well prepared. Jackie one of the managers came to the table and was pleasant and nice. We had clams, chicken parm and veal parm. They were delicious, I recommend this place for superb, authentic Italian food.

Our server Natalie was fantastic she helped us with all of our questions when it came to the menu, the food that we ordered for our appetizers was extremely flavorful my Dish was wonderful atmosphere was welcoming and very entertaining. After two great visits in the dining room, we decided to switch things up and sit at the bar — and wow, did we accidentally discover the best seat in the house. Rachel, the bartender, deserves her own spotlight. My personal test of bartender greatness is simple: do they know what a Boulevardier is without me giving a TED Talk about it? Not only did Rachel know it instantly, she even asked whether I preferred rye or bourbon. That’s when I knew we were in expert hands. The food was fantastic as always, but Rachel elevated the whole evening. Her wine pairing for my wife was so on point it felt like she had insider intel on our taste buds. Cucina Moderna has always been good — but the bar experience? That’s where the magic happens.

We had a great time checking out the new Cocina Moderna in Fort Lauderdale! The place is gorgeous and bright, with a real sleek bar up front and a cool flower wall in the back. Very open and spacious!. We went for Sunday Brunch, which has live music and its own special menu. Everything was delicious. The breakfast pizza was one of the best i've had. Its still tastes like pizza and not just a gimmick pie. The avocado toast was fresh and creamy. The filet mignon and eggs is perfect for those who want a protein infusion. The Nutella and Bacon French Toast was a treat! The bacon inside works surprisingly well. The cocktails are also delicious. Loved their margaritas and espresso martinis. But make sure you leave room for their gelato! It was one of the best scoops I’ve had in a while. Everything was incredible! Robert and Chad both took great care of us. Everyone at our table had something different and everyone loved their food. The pizza was excellent, I had the chicken valdostana and it was great. Just like a Marsala but better! And make sure you save room for dessert because they have the best gelato I've ever had. In a sea of Italian spots around here, this one actually stands out. Tried it for the first time and went straight for my go-to Chicken Francese, and they nailed it. It moved ahead of a lot of others in the area. “Jackie Squared” at the bar, both were awesome, attentive, fun, and truly knowledgeable about the dishes. We wrapped up with a solid tiramisu. We will definitely be back.

It was a chilly night, they had the doors open on the patio to the bar and it added a nice ambiance while being a comfortable temperature in the restaurant. We decided to sit at the bar, and ordered an arancini appetizer, and the cm salad. Both were very tasty. The manager was very friendly, and the bartenders were excellent, especially Jackie. She was very friendly and made us feel at home. Good help is hard to find these days, so we will definitely visit this spot again and try other items on the menu. The entire menu sounded delicious! Outstanding service! Nathalie was extremely attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our entire visit. She made sure we were comfortable at all times, explained the menu clearly, and responded quickly to every request with a great attitude.

Robert served us and he was very helpful! He recommended the fettuccine bolognese, which was very delicious. We got also got fried calamari, frutti risotto, pomegranate martini, coquito mojito, hazelnut crunch gelato, and the cannoli. Everything was very delicious and Robert did an excellent job attending to our needs!

What a great new addition to Fort Lauderdale dining! Cucina Modena is a tucked-away Italian restaurant located under the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is beautiful — tastefully decorated and enhanced by live music. The service was amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious. I also heard that Ladies’ Night will be on Thursdays! Overall, this is such a wonderful addition to the Fort Lauderdale dining scene. Congratulations to the owners — I wish you all the best of luck!

From the moment we came through our bartender Joshua acknowledged us right away got us waters and bread! The chicken parm and the ravioli off the chefs special was a great recommendations the drinks were tasty and refreshing! We are totally coming back!

We came in today at night to have a business dinner, I brought my staff to this new place and we really enjoyed ourselves. The music Was perfect, the energy amazing, the food omg WOW the quality, the serving portions and the fact that everything came out right with no mistakes. It made our experience very enjoyable. The service was excellent! Our server Nataly was very sweet and funny, she was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us the best suggestions! She was very attentive as well as the manager. I think I have found my business meeting spot! 5 star all the way! Oh and ask for Nataly for service, she’s wonderful just like the restaurant!

This is a welcomed addition to the neighborhood! I've been twice now. On my first visit the chef came out to check on our meals... love that. And on my second visit, they recognized me and made us feel very welcomed. Our server, Theanny, gets 5 ⭐ for being attentive but not intrusive, and always smiling from ear to ear. They have plenty of gluten free options, and the interior is beautiful and CIRS friendly.

The service and friendliness was outstanding. We will return for that alone. That atmosphere was inviting and open. Cool bar. The pizza was not great imo. I see other dishes that are recommended to try. Next time will be in the pasta related lane.

My initial review was to be a 5 star rating. As the food is pretty good and the drinks excellent, and normally service top notch; however, my experience a few nights ago was the opposite. To preface I normally sit at the bar and do happy hour or a light lunch in the day. But this was after happy hour and I just wanted an app and a drink or two. I came in and was greeted warmly by the manager, he wiped the bar top for me as someone just left. He then left me because it's the bar staff's turn to greet me and hand over a menu...that did not happen. There was a few people at the bar but nothing crazy, the bartender I saw (and who saw me) was a tall, slender w man with dark hair. He was making drinks, but not extremely swamped. He went over to the bar fridge directly in front of me l, looked at me and still walked away. No menu, no I'll be right with you or just give me a minute... nothing. Just ignored me. The manager came back over, seemingly surprised that I was sitting there for almost 10 minutes with no menu nor water. He grabbed a menu and promptly told what looked like the bar manager, to assist me. She quickly placed the menu down and water and was pleasant. I was then left again for a few minutes and noticed that another person sat at the bar (did not look like me) and that initial bartender promptly greeted them and brought menus. I gathered my things and left. I did enjoy this spot but I will not be back and I cannot recommend to my friends, as I don't want them to have the same experience.

I thought with a name like Cucina Moderna it would be an italian joint. no, it is extremely Italian American. The inside is cute and modern, but no character. felt very corporate. I got the chicken Parm which is the litmus for every Italian place, and it was okay.I've had better and I've had worse. The chicken was moist but the side pasta wasn't good at all. tasted like something you make at home microwaved. my wife had the carbonara and she said it was too heavy. it was a lot of cream. the real carbonara recipe doesn't use cream, just egg. overall it was okay, nothing memorable. probably wont come back.

I was extremely disappointed by what I witnessed at this restaurant. The manager made a point to visit every table to ask about service, except my brother’s. He was seated between two Caucasian couples, and his table was clearly and intentionally skipped. That kind of selective treatment is unacceptable. We have to do better as Americans. Kindness, fairness, and basic respect should be extended to everyone, as God calls us to love one another. I hope this establishment reflects on this and chooses to improve.

I ordered the salmon with seasonal vegetables and order of wings. The salmon itself was cooked to my temperature liking, but it was extremely salty. The vegetables, on the other hand, had an excessive amount of oil, which made them feel heavy and off-putting (picture included). The flavor of the wings were good however, they were extremely soggy, no crisp at all. With better quality control—less salt on the salmon, less oil on the vegetables, a longer time in the oven/broiler these dishes could have been great. I came in with high expectations based on the reviews, so it was disappointing to leave feeling underwhelmed. I hope this feedback is received as an opportunity for improvement and growth. As someone with food allergies I would highly suggest the restaurant invest the time and resources into an allergen menu.
