Alfred was an amazing, he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes and all of his recommendations were spot on. The food absolutely delicious. It was a very cozy and friendly atmosphere.

From the moment me and my family walked in we were greeted and seated asap. Even with the place relatively full. The customer service was outstanding very friendly waitress even interacted with me and my family. Really enjoyed the hospitality we received here. I have passed by this place while working before which is why i decided to bring my family and finally try there famous ribs and yes they were so amazing super super good and soft with a great bbq sauce for sure top 3 rib spot in miami. The only bad thing that isn’t really in their control is that they charge you a gratitude fee automatically so it can be a bit pricey but it was worth it.

When our phones stopped working because we came from another country, the manager offered to drop us back to the hotel over a 2 hour trip away. Loved, loved, loved. I finally found the time to stop and have lunch at The Pit. From the outside it's a peculiar place. And inside you may get worried about the food because it's personality. But it all contributes for the ambience. And the food, Oh, the food is impeccable! The best gator ribs I've ever had. The sides are also delicious. I strongly recommend you to stop by.

Great BBQ. Its about 20 miles from shark valley, very close to the Indian casino. Service was great and so were the portions. I had the baby back rib and chicken combo with fries baked beans and corn on the cob.

We stopped by this place on the way back from our airboat ride. Everything was awesome. We had the gator bites appetizer which you need to have if you never had gator before ( they were gone before I could take a picture 😂). The baby pork back ribs super good, also the churrasco and my daughter commented the barbecue beans were excellent. The French fries have a very nice addictive seasoning. And the service, well that was awesome too. Hun was a delight. Everyone is super nice.

I love this place… have been coming for years. The food is great, good portions, and fast served. The staff is great and friendly always friendly and welcoming. Great to come with friends, family, and pet friendly. Took my mom to celebrate her 60s birthday she had a blast after a Safari tour to the Everglades. I recommend to stop by and try it, their alligator bites and frog legs always amazing. And that tamarindo juice great.

Very nice place for BBQ. The Gator bites were really good and the entrees were a good sized portion. We had the baby back ribs, pulled pork and the chicken breast. The sides were very tasty. Our server Alfredo was very attentive and prompt. We will stop by again next time we’re on our way back from the Everglades.

If you like smoked meats of all types, you will love the chicken and ribs at The Pit Bar-B-Q, My wife and I both had the baby back ribs, and after we started eating, we upgraded one of our orders to include the chicken, which we shared. We both had fries, which were crispy not greasy. I had the coleslaw, the creamy type with mayo and vinegar dressing, and my wife had the fried plantains, which were sweet and soft, and very plentiful. For drinks, my wife had a frosty Stella Artois, I had the real, fresh-squeezed lemonade, which was a real treat. For dessert, we shared one order of the flan, which was absolutely first rate. Pricing was fair, and included an 18% gratuity built-in, which is less than I usually tip (20% these days) and it was a cash only restaurant. Sonia was a wonderful, friendly hostess. I will definitely go back there for another terrific meal next chance I get.

We passed this place on our way to The Everglades and just knew by the smell we had to go back for dinner!! And we are so happy we did!! We were greeted by such friendly people!! Wonderful place. The staff is very nice and polite. The location is beautifully ventilated and you can sit nicely in- and outside. The ribs were really good and the BBQ-Beans were wonderfully tasty. The Famous Pit „Gator Bites“ had a tasting sauce with them and some lemons to top it up. I recommend this place a lot. Greeting from germany :)

I discovered this barbecue restaurant by chance while biking. I stopped in just to grab a Coke, and they were so kind that they didn’t even charge me for it. I was so impressed by their hospitality that I came back with my family for a meal, and it was amazing! The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and everyone was incredibly friendly. We stopped at The Pit Barbecue after enjoying an airboat ride in the Everglades nearby. Ordered a combo of Babyback Ribs & Chicken along with some Conch Fritters. The great smoky barbecue flavor was fantastic and as you will see in my photos, tender and fell off the bones. I highly recommend you stop and enjoy. They provide sauce and I tried some, it was very good sauce, but I loved the flavor without it so ate most of it without. We even ordered an additional 1/2 rack as we wanted more. Great atmosphere and got great service… we would love to return someday!

Great place to stop for casual BBQ on your way to or from various Everglades attractions on 8th St (40). Able to serve large crowds with outdoor picnic table seating, the service was prompt and friendly. The sides are home made and tasty. Typical Florida Everglades fare with frog legs, alligator and conch fritters available alongside traditional BBQ items.

Good food but very slow service. The owner should hire a busser to clear out the tables and have a host to sit people. The waiters have to do everything and that causes delays. The place itself has a nice vibe and a family feel to it. Great place to go with the fam.

Picture this: On the far west side of Miami and on the edge of the Everglades there is this cute little touristy BBQ Tiki Hut, featuring items such as alligator ribs and frog legs with music on the side... I've read the reviews and most of the poor ones are due to long waits and luckily I am visiting on a Monday, but I can totally see how this spot can quickly fill up and have you waiting forever. Everything was seasoned well and the alligator ribs remind me of pork chops... definitely not 🐔!

Of you visit the Everglades when you're in South Florida (and you must), you'll be hungry when you're done and depending on where you went, there might be a restaurant option right there, but I advise you wait and come here instead. Gator bites are very good with a very spicy sauce (always a plus), but they also serve 7h gator ribs which fall off the bone and other BBQ options. I took away one star as they forgot to tell us from the beginning that their system was down so no credit accepted (they have ATM but charges a fare).

This place advertised great Barbecue and that’s what we stopped for- the baby back ribs platter for $17.99 was great. Included 2 pieces of ribs with about 3-4 bones, and 2 sides - there were lots of options for sides. The French fries were good- crispy and not greasy at all- the way I prefer them. My friend had the pulled pork sandwich for $11.99 with 2 sides and it was good as well- stuffed full of pork. The coleslaw was a little on the dry side but decent. Now- about the mini Key Lime pie for $3.99 - we were hesitant about trying this- but we were craving Florida Key Lime pie. This was horrible- a waste of $4 that I would have rather have given to the overworked waitress! ! Two small bites was plenty and I couldn’t get the bad taste out of my mouth. It didn’t appear to be homemade- however the waitress ensured us it was… With 2-$5 beers, tip that was included and taxes our lunch bill was $55. I would definitely stop again for the bbq- good smoky flavor and tender meat! - but a definite pass on the pie!!!

Came across this place while touring around the Everglades for the day last year during a vacation to Miami and decided to give it a try. Wanted to try something local and not just another chain restaurant. Good choice. The food was really good and the atmosphere was fun. Great little roadside BBQ joint. They have a huge outside patio too, but not sure if any of that is open to use now with COVID. If not, hopefully soon. If you’re in the area, I would recommend giving them a try.

We just moved to the area and just happened to pass-by this place. Staff were super friendly. I recommend BBQ chicken, sausage bites (omg you must try), pineapple juice, and key lime pie. BBQ Ribs was ok. Grilled shrimps was not good. Please bring cash because their card machine is broken.

If you like outdoor barbecue combined with Latin music this is the place for you. Located right on US 41 a few miles from the miccosukee casino. The service was super friendly The band was playing with some great vibes. They have baby back ribs as well as pork ribs chicken, carne asada ,and a variety of sides like yuca rice and beans etc.

A pleasant place on not-so-hot days. Ribs are tasty and well-priced. Can get crowded. This restaurant has been in business for close to 50 years, so it must be doing something right. Worth it if you happen to be in the area.

It was wonderful! I had the Gator Ribs, and they were fantastic! The beans were good. I was told by my friends, the chicken was a bit dry, the the pulled pork was wonderful. Very different choices of sides. Lots of Cuban influence so not your typical BBQ, which in my opinion, makes it cool, as it adds another layer to the world of BBQ. I will be back. Nice lunch here. Huge, covered, outdoor seating area. Service, food, and prices all good. Mainly BBQ and sides, but other options as well. Reasonably priced cold beer too!

Be aware, the prices written on the website are about half of the actual prices on the menu. Got sticker shock and left, so can’t comment on anything else other than the super cute doggie.

You have to love this place. Despite wild fires and droughts and I'm sure the end of times there will always be the pit. The barbecue is always delicious always moist and tender. The sauces are awesome. The place is a historical landmark and just damn good eats. Besides the barbeque I tried the gator bites... very good... very juicy... very tasty. If you're skeptical let me tell you this...I am not a seafood or any kind of fish lover... but the gator bites are vey good... not fishy... not gamey... just clean tasting and with the dipping sauce... really really delicious. There are tables to eat inside or outside... take your pick. I recently grabbed an order to go... by the time I got home everything was still mighty good. It may be a little father out... but still very well worth it. Especially on weekends when there is an entertaining crowd. Go and enjoy.

It has changed a lot in respect to decor and atmosphere. More family environment and good seating area for an outside meal. The food was decent. Ordered a half rack of ribs and a pulled pork sandwich with a side of baked beans, fries, and 2 soda pops. Ribs have a nice smoked flavor; I'm not sure if sous vide but it was fall off the bone. BBQ sauce is on the table for convenience. Pull pork sandwich was good and fries came out fresh. Waitress was nice, took our order, food was served by other staff and we never saw our server again until it was time for the check. Since gratuity is included there seemed to be a lack of effort. Be sure to take cash. 18% gratuity included and 4% credit charge. Receipt said $47 with cash. $49 with credit card. Total was $53, not sure how that adds up. the waitress did not give me the final receipt.

The pulled pork sandwich and the chicken sandwich had great flavor. The baked been were sour and very runny. The coleslaw tasted like KFC. The price was way higher than it should be for what we got. The service wasn't great either. Our server avoided eye contact several times while we waited for her to come back to take our order. By the time she came back we had already finished our first drinks.

Gator and roasted corn was tender and excellent! BBQ Pork tidbits were not. Service was friendly. Would give more stars but they added 15% tip for only 2 of us and then while I went to the restroom and my husband was still at the table talking on the phone, she got my to go box and threw it away. It had another whole meal in it.

I had the baby back ribs and the chicken, the baby back ribs are dry. Overcooked had no flavor was very disappointed. The barbecue chicken was excellent and the two sides I had worse excellent. I said some to the waitress, but she didn’t apologize or say anything to the manager she really didn’t care but that was all right. I didn’t want nothing for nothing. I’m sure it was a much better my server. We had a call over to get drinks we had to call over to get a check. She never checked on us. She really didn’t care. The place wasn’t crowded at all. I had four or five tables and about four or five waiters waitresses. When I go back maybe but don’t eat the ribs. The baby back ribs were terrible.

I don't find myself through the doors of bbq places very often. But I must do what I need to do to try some alligator. The food here wasn't phenomenal. But it was good nevertheless. Even the snobbiest of bbq lovers will say this place isn't bad - that is just my assumption. The Gator bites were good and for those that are hesitant on trying it. Don't be. I can't stress this enough, but it's just chewy chicken, it doesn't have its own unique flavor at all. I got the baby back ribs, and I'm glad they weren't drenched in BBQ sauce. The service is less than desirable. It's a "sit wherever you want" service and if they don't see you, you'll never get waited on. There were two ladies at the entrance of the place sitting there. I'm not too sure what their job is, but while trying to flag down a waiter they offered no assistance whatsoever.

We tried the alligator bites it tasted very much like dry chicken. They were out of frog legs. Prices were reasonable. Music was very loud in the outside sitting area. Inside the decor was decadent and kind of gross.

The environment is disgusting. Table and chair and their kitchen... We planes to eat inside at first, after sitting on the restaurant for 5 minutes and we decided to go the food because we cannot tolerate to eat over there. The food is not impressed but pricy.

Flavor and service was great. They allow smoking here so if it’s not your thing I’d avoid it. Also it was $50 for a burger some gator bites and a water.

Local watering and eating hole. Beers are cheap and cold which is good. Near the Everglades so you would hope that the cat fish and the gator bites near there would be fresh but they tasted frozen at best. Staff is authentic and nice so they are chill and laid back which is good. Outdoor setup is great to hang out to have a quick bite. The spicy or gator sauce is tasty so make sure you get some extra of that to dip in.

The food here was ok but I expected better. I've had alligator bites in several states and restaurants and you would think, Florida being the gator state, the bites would be better but they were not and kinda chewy. The gator ribs could have used more seasoning and the conch fritters we're also just ok. Being from the Caribbean, I've definitely had better conch fritters. The waitress also was in no hurry to get anything to you not even the menus. Also just FYI, this place only takes cash, which they have on a barely visible sign. You would think the waitress should mention this before ordering because not everyone walks with cash these days.

Not bad for the remoteness of the location. Staff were cheery. Straw hut decor is kinda different. A bit of a grimy feel inside the restaurant. Had the gater sausage. Pretty good. What it lacked in seasoning it made up for in freshness. The slaw reminded me of Costco's. The beans tasted canned.

The food was overpriced, I was honestly shocked when I saw the bill - for some reason they included gratuity on it even though it was only 4 of us eating, that didn't make sense to me and was surely a disappointment. The server was very kind and sweet, that's the only reason I would give them any stars. Also, if you're gonna price the food so high, I recommend you serve on actual plates, rather than cheap paper plates. This review is not to bash this BBQ place, it's only to give people some information before they go there and let them know what they're getting into. Do check it out though, the food is decent 😊

No longer order at the window and seat your self.. Ribs and chicken still on the menu along with gator bites.. Sitting outside, couldn't hear the server (or my wife).. Sunday afternoon sounded like Friday night at a concert. We decided to leave when we were told they don't have ICED TEA. it's listed as a "BBQ"restaurant. I thought I'd post for the sake of those who ate here before.

Food was not there, Ribeye was undercooked, I asked Medium Rare not to mention it was half fat, probably not 16oz as advertised, fries were packaged, beans are doused in sugar. Tip is added automatically (bad sign) So if you want to spend $49 on a mediocre plate come here. Entertainment was nice, but super loud. Waiter was 2 feet in front of me and I couldn’t hear a single word. I would call this a Colombian restaurant, not American BBQ. Waiter was fine.

Sonia did a great job taking care of us. We had ribs, boneless chicken and burgers and pulled pork. It was all fantastic!!! Tender juicy and hot, the fries were really good as well. No for the not so good, and why u lost 2 stars....they had at least 1 cat and a dog wondering around the dining area, as soon as we had our food both of them were over begging. 4 or 5 guys with red shirts on (some of them ) seemed to be just hanging around over in the corner, Then 1 of them (not with a red shirt ) began shaving his arms and hands and fingers with a cordless razor. Then 1 by 1 he gave the other guys ( red shirts ) got haircuts. The bathroom situation is weird as well, it's outside around the back and of course as I approached 1 of the redshirt guys came out....he completely wrecked it and didn't flush completely...no idea if he washed his hands....when I came out he was around the front now sticking a cigarette in the track on the window sill and went inside....let's hope he didn't touch ours or anyone else's food. Visual, appearance, atmosphere... All very important and those are all fighting against you right now. The food and Sonia were awesome but those other detractors....killed it for us...1 and done ... Sorry guys

The place looks nice, access is convenient. That’s about it for the positive. Ordered the fried shrimps, the actual shrimps were tasteless and small. Sauce was bad. Fries were acceptable but too greasy. Service was not good at all, had to pay for dollar-store water-bottles and the service fees + credit fees + taxes jumped the price from about $20 to $30. Tourist trap, to avoid when in the Everglades.

We visited The Pit Restaurant recently, and while the food was good, the overall pricing and billing experience left us frustrated. Here’s what happened: • Subtotal: $158.03 • Order Type Fees: $24.11 – This additional fee is unusually high, almost the price of a meal. • Tax: $10.71 • Expected Total (before tip): $192.85 However, our bank statement total shows $187.31, which is $5.54 less than the expected total. While the difference appears small, it’s confusing to see this adjustment with no clear explanation. Additionally, we were unhappy paying the Order Type Fees (which were taxed) and then adding a tip, only to find discrepancies in the final charge. Hidden fees and unclear billing processes detract from an otherwise positive dining experience. We enjoyed the food, but transparency in pricing and billing practices is essential. Customers should not leave feeling uncertain about what they were charged.

Went to the pit barbecue on SW. 8th St. for the first time what’s a bit disappointed the first thing was I ordered water and they brought me a bottle and charge me two dollars never even asked if I want a bottle or regular. I was asking for the beef barbecue sandwich they did not have it. Service was not with a smile and they add 18% gratuity to your bill plus a service charge if you use a credit card. Won’t be going there again.

Way overpriced for the portion size. $80 for one appetizer and one entree. The sides are crazy small two forkfulls. Ordered extra side of Mac and cheese for $8.99. Very small serving of Kraft Mac and cheese. Also charged on the bill 18% gratuity for shitty service.

Let's start with the positives. I was in Miami to visit family and there is only so much carne mechada and congri with maduros that one man can eat in one week, so on my way to Miccosukee Casino, we passed your establishment. I love me some good southern BBQ and said, cool, let's stop there and eat on the way home. The venue is truly a unique setup, it was pleasantly cool out and raining, so the temperature was not an issue. On a regular sunny day, I don't see how anyone would be able to stand eating outside when it's 90+ degrees, even with fans going and water misting. The food was very good. I had chicken and ribs and both meats were tender, flavorful, and the chicken skin had the perfect crisp to it. The 3 ribs were HUGE and meaty, and the chicken thigh and drumstick were great too. The sides sucked. For $24.99, I expected a full serving of my beans and coleslaw, not a little plastic side cups that are the same cups used by Wendy's to catch the dispensed ketchup. As consumers, we deserve a full serving, not three spoon fulls, which is about what the cup accounted for in total. Then there was the $4.50 bottle of 12oz Coke. $4.50!! Really? With no option for a refill?? No water either....a bottle water for $3.00. Again, no option for a refill. The Latin music was playing so loud by the DJ that we could not hear ourselves talk. I had to ask our server to please have the music lowered so that we can enjoy our conversation. I could overlook the Coke price, the music, even the stray cats all over the place hoping for a dropping, but there are bigger issues. One, we were never told by our wait staff, Alejandro, that he had already added an 18% gratuity to our bill, despite the fact that we were only 3 in our party. Auto gratuity is reserved for parties of six or more in most all restaurants. You cheated us. He brought the bill, shoved the electric credit card machine in our face and rushed us to pay the bill. Why do you add an automatic gratuity and then also have an area on your bill for the customer to add a tip?? Second, the fact that you charge a $3.00 service fee to those that are using credit cards but never inform the customer of this. Alejandro, again, brought out the credit card machine and made us pay with credit card and never gave us a cash option. In my opinion, this is a very deceptive business technique, very deceptive; one that I won't tolerate and for that primary reason, I will never go back to your restaurant. I've looked on your website and cannot find a single note that tells the customer that there is a $3.00 surcharge for using a credit card and neither is there anything stating that you add an automatic 18% gratuity to the bill. That is highway robbery. Our actual food bill was $42.90, but the surcharge, added gratuity, and our additional tip we added for lack of knowledge, we left their paying $72.90 for one dinner combination, one pulled pork sandwich plate, one corn on the cob, and two cokes. The service was mediocre at best. A lot of Latino young people having a good time, but sometimes forgetting the customer. Our server never came back to offer us more drinks, checked on us once, then never came back to give us our bill. Seventeen minutes after we had taken our last bite and tired of waiting, I had to wave my arms to get his attention to please bring us our bill. Mind you, at this point we were the only table left in the place, and he was behind the hostess desk eating. Sorry, but not cool. I would have been a regular and would have recommended you to all my compadres in Miami, but based on those last few negatives, Miami has WAAAY TOO MANY other BBQ establishments available for better service, just as good if not better food, and a heck of a lot of less money. Sorry Pit. Hasta luego.

Small parking lot. Outdoor seating under a tiki hut 🛖 Tamale 🫔 was the best thing on the menu. Frog legs 🐸 🦵 were good Gator bites were ok, but the pieces were so small, it’s mostly just batter. Ribs were terrible. So hard. Did not fall off the bone. Needs bbq sauce 😕

Beer was nice and cold. Ribs and pulled pork were not hot at all. Waitress took our order brought our food then disappeared.

Let's start by saying that dinner for us 2 were extremely expensive $180 for 2 people, we had the churrasco, gator bites and a drink each one of us. The lady was attentive and kind, but gave us a table that had a huge incline in one side and our drinks spilled a few times plates were sliding. If it wasn't for the outrageous cost of dinner I'd give them I'd rate it a number 2 in satisfaction DO NOT GO HERE,!

I ordered a South Carolina style, triple-decker beef burger All it was was pulled pork or pulled beef. I was expecting an actual triple patty. When it came out, it was super bland and dry not coming back. $20 for the most basic burger in the cheapest real estate. They also add 20% tip and scam you with adding an extra 4% or 10% I brought it up to their attention. The staff immediately goes to default. I don’t understand English.

Was very disappointed going here with my family and friends. I was here a few years back and loved it, so recommended it after a day in the Everglades. Felt unwelcome by staff and out of place. Then food took forever to come; even as everyone around us were served. Then the food was just blah. Not what it used to be. I felt bad about recommending it. Sad. And their response? "No"? I came back to check and still laugh at their response, "No".

Came here with a large group after a great visit to shark Valley. The service was excellent and our server was very nice. The atmosphere was great as well with a large outdoor table area. We initially wanted to sit indoors to get a reprove from the mosquitos but the owners were using it as a temporary storage with papers on the tables so we were redirected outside. Half the menu in a BBQ is unavailable for dinner. Aparently the owners had never had a burger or sandwich that is worth of being a satisfying dinner and for that I pity them. Be aware that even ordering expensive dining options and being subject to not only a service charge but a 4% credit card fee as well you will be refused free tap water. I will not be returning here even though I will be regularly visiting the park. If you're reading this and visiting Shark Valley make sure to avoid places like this that prey on the tourism bringing in a fresh supply of suckers.

unfortunately, a horrible experience. I ordered the Angus burger medium rare and it came out more than well done with nothing else but the puck of meat. It was incredibly dry. no lettuce, tomato, cheese, or anything. I took a bite and left it on the plate. the coleslaw was lacking flavor and was dry. The side of baked beans were cold. The beer was cold but tasted off and the side of corn that i ordered was probably the only okay thing and even that wasn't entirely edible. i left everything on my plate with one or two bites in them AFTER coming back from the Big Cypress preserve on a hike, i was ravenous. I paid the entire bill, including their mandatory 18% gratuity for my table of one. I would not recommend this place to anyone. note that only outdoor seating is avail. the road noises can be very loud. this place also does not pass the bathroom test. The bathroom had a foul smell, was needing various repairs, needed fresh soap and paper towels, and a cleaning.

Go here every year a couple times when staying in Miami. Not any more. Small portions. Ordered the (virgen) Pina colada, and got an eye roll. Didn't get what was pictured-came in maybe a 16 oz clear plastic solo cup, for $18 ! The whole cutout pineapple drink would be worth 18. Paid $25 for a small entree. Insane prices for what you get here anymore.

The service was atrocious! Waited 1 hour 40 minutes to be served mediocre food. The BBQ ribs were cold and dry. The alligator bites were dry, salty and underwhelming. The tostones were soggy and the congri was also dry and hard. Just the wait alone should tell you how bad the experience was. I have a bit of sympathy for the waitress because she seemed to be the only one serving a large section of the tent. However, this shows lack of proper management on behalf of the restaurant. The price: we were a party of 3 and did NOT order beer. The total was $85.00 with a 15% tip automatically added (which is extremely sneaky on the management part given the bad service you receive from the beginning). I do not recommend this place at all! Attached you'll see the food we ordered and hopefully this review helps.

Horrible service. There is an 18% service charge here. The waiter charged me and on his own pressed15%.. So he gave himself another $15 on top of the 18%. When I said something, they claimed that I did it when in fact, he did it. Eventually, they returned the tip money, but actually charge me twice. Now I have to dispute it with my credit card company. There’s always a need to make more but at what cost? Dishonesty gets you nowhere. If you go here, please watch out for this.

To start with, the server is terrible and very mean. His name is alfredo but he wasn’t caring and also kept messing up the orders. The food was terrible and undercooked. Tip was also included and on top of that we tipped him more while I was trying to notify my uncle that the tip was already included and he stopped me and told me he knows and completed the payment when he already had included a $37 dollar tip. Please do not go here. Forgot to mention after there was a survey that asked how the server was and he did it himself and put 5 stars without even letting is do the rating. I would put 0 stars if there was a button for it. Also, the one bathroom stall was absolutely disgusting and I can only imagine what their kitchen looks like.

If you don’t mind paying a 90% tip on your meal, then this is the place to go. Water is not free. We ordered $40 worth of food for two people and it somehow came to $88. Food was okay, not worth the price. There is a hidden ‘order fee’. Pay with cash if you must go here. Scam.

As an accomplished Chef for many years having spent 10 years in Austin Texas. I could possibly the worst Bbq place here in Miami. Food was absolutely tasteless. Service even though they had plenty staff, was the worst service we ever had. Tip was included on the check so why provide great service if you get the tip anyway. I’m still trying to process the fact that I had the worst Bbq place in the whole state!!!!

I cant really rate the food because they only wanted to seat a party of 2 (us) to a kiddy table on a bench about 16 inches from the ground. The 'real' tables are only for larger parties. So even though the restaurant had at least 8 real tables available, they refused to let us sit. They would rather us walk out, which we did when they stopped talking to us.Dont they realize tall people 6+ feet over the age of 60 would not be able to get back up? Poor customer service.

The restaurant is cute and the staff is great but just going on taste ..it was one star. We had a burger and grilled skirt steak but it had a strange flavor .not for us especially for $90 for those 2 meals.

Came here to eat with my family. Ordered 2 kids meals and 1 meal to share with my husband. Left with $159 bill for lunch and $24 hidden service fee in the bill. Feels like I got scammer leaving the restaurant. We aware before going here.

After a nice bike ride through the Everglades, we stopped at a tiki bar for a bite. We ordered fried alligator bites and chicharrones. The alligator was impossible to eat—hard as a rock—while the pork was much better. I asked for the check, and the waiter encouraged me to leave a tip for the waitress. I paid, and only once I got back to the car and looked at the receipt did I realize the scam: $20 of “order type fees” hidden inside the items we ordered. Absolutely horrible and disgusting. 🤮
