Very GOOD authentic Indian food! Their curry was creamy and spice level was perfect. We ordered the Matar Paneer and Chicken Tikka Masala a la carte that is served with a VERY generous amount of rice and plenty of extra naan to go around. The mango lassi and mango shakes were also very delicious- sweet and creamy. We were stuffed afterwards! The staff was very attentive and courteous throughout which was much appreciated. Highly recommend coming here!

Ive never been to India but I imagine we've got a perfect little slice of it in Chico at Priya. Their food is amazing. Friendly quick service and an amazing buffet. One of absolute favorite comfort meals, butter chicken, naan and samosas!

The food was delicious and the service was excellent — very friendly and attentive staff. I ordered the Lamb Vindaloo and asked for it to be spicy like for an Indian — and wow, it was insanely hot! 😅 It was still tasty, but a word of advice: know your limits and think twice before asking for extra spicy! 😉 Definitely coming back to try more dishes.

The only restaurant where I have given 5 stars on EVERYTHING. That says a lot, because I am in the top 10% of restaurant reviewers on this app. The workers are super nice. The food is super good… my only warning about the food is please be careful with the sauce. I normally separate the meat from whatever sauce it’s in, but one day I did not. My stomach was not happy with me afterwards- it was simply too much grease for my stomach. So separate the sauce from the butter chicken if you surely want to avoid an upset stomach. A little sauce is fine.

Excellent first experience. We were seated right away and given water. As I browsed the menu I felt a good vibe from the cleanliness, decor, and Indian music. I ordered the Tandoori Boti Kebab. The presentation was nice and the flavor was amazing. You can tell everything is fresh. With a veritable plethora of enticing menu options, Priya will be in regular rotation for us for sure.

Fantastic Dinner, had the Priya special which came with Butter chicken, lamb curry, chicken tikka, and chicken curry with lentil soup. Dosa is the big one that had curry flavored potato and other things in it. Samaso is delicious here, with awesome chutney with it. Service was fantastic, great people. Our kids were a bit roudy but we didnt feel unwelcome or anything.

This is my 1st time having Indian cuisine. This was an amazing experience.I'm going back today for the buffet because it's delicious and fresh. My cat also loved it.. He didn't get to eat any he just smelled my breath when I got home.He told me he loved it!

Sooo good! Fresh naan, the dal curry is really good. Also, the butter chicken and chicken curry was very delicious. Not too spicy, just full of flavor! We want to come back to try the lunch buffet so we can experience more of their dishes. It looks like your getting a relatively small amount of food (just the right amount) when you order the meal rather than ala carte, but it is a lot of food and we couldn't finish. We will definitely come back.

I decided to try Priya after seeing the great reviews on Google, and I was certainly not disappointed! The menu had a great selection, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I plan to go to their lunch buffet as soon as I'm able.

Just left Priya full and satisfied. I treated myself to the ale carte Butter Chicken and it was amazing. This family owned and operated restaurant has the beat Indian food in town. They deliver but if you want a true family friendly restaurant experience then dining at the restaurant is the ticket. Truely 5 stars.

We’ve been here several occasions. And both times we ordered samosas, and a thali special. Food was abundant and flavorful as always. Bread is always fresh, warm and fluffy. Service is not bad, but it seems people never smile or not want customers coming in. We’ll come back whenever we’re in town anyway, because food is always delicious!

This was a spur of the moment decision. I had been craving Indian food and spotted this place on Google Maps. I suddenly remembered that this was the Indian place my buddy had suggested to me. Since it was on the way, I decided to give it a try. The full parking lot when we pulled up was a good sign. I wasn't expecting a buffet, but I was completely fine with this set up, as it cost about as much as you would pay for a regular meal and you can sample multiple items and eat as much as you want. The menu wasn't very large, but the items they had on offer were tasty and it had a nice variety of veggie and meat dishes, so it was perfect for someone who's still kind of new to Indian food. I don't know if they cut down because of Covid or if it was because we came during lunch time, but this was the first restaurant I went to where I wasn't offered any drinks, besides water. I found this a bit strange. There was also no flat bread. The pictures I saw online made it seem like it was a regular restaurant, so I don't know if that changed at some point, or if I'm just missing something. That being said though, this was only the second time I dined at a "proper" Indian restaurant, and the experience didn't disappoint. The food was good, but the ambience of the place was what really earned it points in my book. That was the only thing that really made it stand out from other buffet style restaurants. Now, is it something to write home about, maybe not. But being one of the only few Indian restaurants in Butte County, I could totally see myself dining here again and suggesting it to a friend.

It’s really one of good indian restaurants i’ve ever visited. If you are traveling via chico, i would recommend this place on the go.. 🚘 They have good menu either a la crate or “Thali” options. Also a la carte option comes with rice and naan bread. In Appetizer we tried Samosa, Medu Vada, Gobi Manchurian. I liked Gobi Manchurian over other items. Tandoor Chicken was nice 👍 Mine was not spicy but ask for spice level. I’m pretty sure you can get it spicy as well. Well served, clean dinning room, food was amazing. 4/5 ⭐️ 1 less ⭐️ for hygiene - Restroom wasn’t clean. overall good experience.
