Alejandro ROCKS!!! He said he makes the BEST mojito in Miami and he did! Wow. We also had Hot Cubans that were amazing. We topped it off with a double espresso on ice and were so pleased. We highly recommend Estefan Kitchen Express when you’re in Miami International Airport!!!!
V E G A N O P T I O N Vegan flatbread. Such a find. The only options in Miami airport seem to be impossible burger, fries, bland salad, rice, veggie bagel, red sauce pasta and beans and chips & salsa/guacamole (isn’t it wild that almost all the options fit in just a few lines of text? Most restaurants have more options on one side of their menu than vegans have in the entire airport). Thank you. Please keep selling.
Lot's of fresh vegan/vegetarian options including flat breads, bowls, and wraps. They also have freshly squeezed orange juice.
Huge thanks to Alejandro, the bartender who made the best mojito I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced, fresh, and full of flavor — you can really taste the care and skill behind it. If you’re here, don’t miss his mojitos!🍹
Alejandro is fascinating, with a very positive attitude, and ready to help clients with their needs. A little nice joint here at the Miami airport. The coffee flavor is simply amazing.
Highly recommend the traditional Cuban sandwich and the croquettes! It is expensive but comparable to prices at other airport restaurants, with better quality food than surrounding places. Service was quick and friendly, and the food is made with high quality ingredients. My husband is used to authentic Cuban food and he liked it so much we got it on both of our layovers through Miami recently.
Not sure the low reviews but mine was excellent. After standing in customs for 1.5 hours and most of the restaurants were closed it was open and the guy was welcoming. He told me to get the ropa viejo. I’m really glad I did. It was Amazing and better than Cuban restaurants I’ve been too. Decent amount of food for $20 too. I only wished they had Maduros to go with this delicious meal!😂 Definitely coming here next time I have a layer over in Miami! Thanks!
There should be a long line because their freshly baked empanadas are scrumptious!!! It’s not a restaurant and they have several tables outside but they totally worth it!!! We also tried cuban empanadas that are sold in “Farm2air market” near gate G11 and the dough was not delicious and more expensive (they don’t bake it themselves and the empanadas branded “Sergio’s”)! I was so bummed that we couldn’t get to gates D to have eat at the Estefan Kitchen! They also have vegan flatbread with plantains, veggies and plant-based cheese that is delicious (lactose intolerant friendly). Thank for being inclusive and catering to everyone, good for groups who eat different diets!
Fantastic place to hang out in the airport! Food was delicious, service was very welcoming - Andy the server and bartender was really very fun and thoes Mojitos are soo good! Once I'm there I will definitely stop by for food, drinks and fun!
The absolute perfect pick me up to grab and go at miami airport. My go-to is the ropa vieja bowl and a cortadito because why not?! Delicious, home-cooked taste that far exceeds any airport food! Plus, service is amazing. Alejandro attended me and was so kind. This will be my stop when at MIA airport.
Such an extensive collection of artifacts and information about the pre Hispanic history of Mexico. Brush up on your Spanish to be able to understand the extensive text and explanations provided. Allow a full day to still through.
Great food and service
Good.place and people
Great selection!
They make a great cuban. Also tried a hot cream cheese coconut roll, very good. Worth the stop. Lots of food for the price.
Best chicken sandwich I've had ever. This was at Estefan Kitchen Express in Concourse D27, MIA.
Love it love it. If you are traveling through Miami international airport and have little time before your flight go by check out the menu.
Surprisingly good breakfast cuban and cortado
Very tasty food and wonderful people! The Cuban vegan burger is great
The croquettes are delisious! I would visit again when in Miami.
Naomi and Scarlet were amazing. So helpful and fun!!
Top notch! Get the flatbread and a libation! You won’t regret it or forget it! 😍🫶
Great, quick, spot for food and a drink in the airport. Andy the bartender was great!
Beautiful place located at design district. Live music was a great surprise!
Quick, hot food that is surprisingly delicious. I especially love the Hot Cuban.
Free WiFi while a long waiting for a flight! Good food too and nice place.
Food tasted good. Mellow atmosphere. Decently priced.
Exceptional food! Great price! Impeccable service!
quick service. the cuban vegan burger is soooo good!!
Great food period,; amazing food for the airport!
Nice cuban sandwiches. . Nice counter guy,too
Probably one of the best things in MIA INT
Great food and fast service!!
Delicious spinach & cheese pastry.
Great Food in an Airport!!
Juicy pork and ham Melted cheese and tangy pickles Cuban sandwich, yum. I recently stopped by Estefan Kitchen Express at the Miami airport and had the most amazing Cuban sandwich! The bread was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the fillings were bursting with flavor. I also tried their coffee, which was strong and delicious. But the real star of the show was the service. The staff at Estefan Kitchen Express were friendly and attentive, and they even gave me some recommendations for other menu items to try. I ended up trying the croquetas, which were little balls of heaven. And let me tell you, those little guys pack a punch! Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Estefan Kitchen Express. The food was delicious, the service was great. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're at the Miami airport and in need of a tasty sandwich and some strong coffee. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
Delicious!! Reasonably priced for airport and quantity/quality received. I had the hot Cuban with chicken and my husband had the classic Cuban sandwich. So frickin good. I wish I had another stomach to try more! Don’t sleep on this place.
As a vegan it is often hard to find good vegan food. I just had the vegan Flatbread from Estefans kitchen and it is one of the best vegan foods I have ever had. Plus the service was great. I can't wait to have a layover in Miami again.
Stopped by here on a layover in the airport. Great little spot to relax and have a few drinks. Andy, the bartender, was so cool that my husband and I stayed longer just talking to him. Had a sandwich and it was very yummy!
Have been by here a few times, always in the morning. Good food and great cappuccino every time at reasonable price. Not an eat-in type place and it is by gate D27,… not sure why g maps is off on this.
I bought food at the Miami airport by American Airlines gate 27 or thereabouts. I got two Hot Cubans, one beef and one ham and pork. Both were delicious! I wish I could get those in Orange County CA.
The Hot Cuban empanadas picadillo and chicken were very good. So nice to find quality food at the airport. Much better than getting a cold sandwich or something of poor quality for airport prices.
Amazing food and service. This little, fun quick stop was great for a simple and tasty Cuban sandwich and bag of fried plantains. Price was fair too. A must try!!!
Such good food! Reasonable airport prices and the friendliest workers. Love!!!!
For vegan travelers food is usually a struggle, Estefan's has several vegan options and they are delicious! We had the vegan flatbread pizza and it was so yummy.
Amazing service, the best mojito ever ❤️🩷
Good service. There is a cocktail bar area with seating and a large amount of delicious Cuban baked goods, snacks, and meals to go or to eat there.
Great Cuban food. Odilia provided us with an extraordinary Cuban Food experience and hospitality at Gloria and Emilio Kitchen at Miami International Airport. Thanks Odilia !!
Wonderful all around. Best black beans I've ever had and the fried pork to die for. Great ambient, service and life music.
I had time to spare before my flight out of MIA. Lots of food to choose from. I decided I would have some regional food before heading home. Best thing I did, I had the Ropa Vieja Bowl (pulled pork with peppers, black beans and rice. If I get back to MIA I will enjoy this Cuban food again.
This is my favorite spot and i connect her and run to this restaurant for the best Cuban sandwich and Dessert s. The staff is amazing My favorite spot ever.
Great pre flight food!! Great service
One of the best meals I’ve had at an airport—flavorful, healthy, and truly felt homemade! It’s rare to find food this good while traveling. Alejandro was incredibly kind and made the experience even better. Highly recommended!
(Well, it is in an airport!) Jan 26 travel stop - enjoyed fantastic service and wonderful food!!!!!!!!
Great place for a fast Latin -Cuban food, diseñado con elegancia y modernidad .. Muy cómodo para ordenar
Stopped for a coffe and ice cream during the architectural art deco tour. Perfect place for express service on the beach. The decaffeinated coffee brand can be upgraded, but overall a nice place.
The cuban was delicious. the pastry could have hadca better ratio of dough to filling . None the less its good.
The lechón Flatbread is amazing. The honey and truffle oil just work. One of the best flatbreads I have ever had.
Flat bread sandwiches are really good but the coffee why I write this hands best I've had.
Great food but very expensive even for airport fare
Simply amazing great food & service
I ran into this small counter service food spot by accident in Miami airport. They only had a few bar stools so you may have to squeeze in to order but the young man behind the counter named Andy was very attentive. Luckily, there was one empty stool and he took my order right away. He suggested the Lechon Flatbread (roasted pork, mozzarella, sweet plantains, honey, and truffle oil). It's made to order so it was served piping hot. The bread was toasty and toppings were very tasty. He also made me a Blue Long Island. It wasn't too sweet and pretty strong so no complaints here :) They also have offer pre-baked empanadas, Cuban sandwiches and pastelitos. For you holiday travelers flying out of MIA, Estefan Kitchen Express is a decent place to grab food and cocktails before flight. Plus it's also affordable.
Probably the most affordable place in the Miami airport. I had a coffee and empanada. The coffee was good, and the empanada was ok. But for airport food and comparing to the rest of the prices in mia, I would recommend this place.
We ordered the bbq chicken flat bread and the Cuban hot sandwich. The food was okay but I expected better for the price. The pastelito look like it was overflowing but barely had any filling.
It's Ok
Need to improve customer service!
Mediocre Cuban sandwich.
Ordered a cuban, got a chicken melt. Was still pretty good, but you got to get the order right.
Food was good specially the ropa vieja bowls. But food is extremely over priced
Good food, but rude gentleman working the counter on Sunday evening made the experience really bad with his terrible attitude . He frantically waved his arms to get my attention when it was my turn to order and then when I asked to order the combo, he bluntly stated “We’re out!” He refused to specify what exactly they were out of, so we went through a confusing exchange when I tried to order several more items to which he snapped, “What you see is what we have!” There were no labels on the display case and as impatient as he was being I didn’t feel comfortable asking him to elaborate. I got my rum/coke, Cuban sandwich and plantain chips and went as far away from this place as I could to enjoy it. Sad when people make you feel like they don’t want your business.
I got a vegan flatbread, and asked the lady making in it in the back, directly, not to put the vegan cheese on it. She said ok while putting it on. I didn’t realize that’s what she was putting on it, until I tasted it. That’s how you treat your customer?!
Service was fast and liked that I could see how the sandwiches looked before purchasing. However, The food was very cold and chicken was very dry. Staff also was not welcoming at all when asked questions, almost as if it was a bother answer anything.
I was super hungry after a long Journey, I had a drink (green Juice) Chicken Cesar and a hot Cuban bake. Cost me $28 usd! Food was good but expensive. The tables next to Estefan Kitchen were dirty and had food left on them for hours no one cleaned this area.
Overpriced, even for airport prices
Not good ,great potential but don’t sell old pastelitos and coffee prep could be better
Looking for a decent Cubano on a transit through Miami's airport?!? Look elsewhere.....
Yo this is straight up prison food ....haaa
The sandwich was 16 dollars. The food quality was really bad. The meat was dried out and immediately reminded me of pet food. Which wouldn't be a problem if the taste wasn't bad too. I'll eat bad looking food that tastes good but this wasn't it. I wish I went anywhere else.
Was looking forward for a simple Cuban sandwich. Turns out it was pre-prepared sitting in a hot box. Terrible… do yourself a favor and walk a hundred yards to La Carreta. Much better and excellent coffee too
It was just ok! Food was hot on top and cold on the bottom. Maybe the food is predone and then they microwave it. They did remicrowave the food but it's not the same. I only ate it because I did not eat breakfast or lunch and I have a long flight. If I am at the Miami Airport again I will pick something else.
Don't get me wrong.. food is decent if not good.(Cuban sandwich... mostly ham) and a mojoto...$23 bucks... no way. Over priced. I walk past it next time, no doubt. Should have bought her CD instead, lasts longer
Walked all the way here from my gate which was pretty far to get there 1st no ropa vieja so im like cool and then I get the pork bowl and get to my gate to realize they had no beans either 😩so im here w plain white rice w no flavor and the pork was tasteless too🤦🏾♀️
El flat bread está bueno pero el bowl de pollo solo los veggies porque el pollo sabe como a atún , me supo muy feo , pienso que así sabe en usa pero parecía pollo de lata pasado , no pude comérmelo
Terrible cafeteria style food. I spent $17 for this.
Bad costumer service!
Got the hot Cuban. It didn't have pickles or mustard as advertised. Skip this place.
Big deception cuban sandwich with no mojito !!! Should be done the right way
$60+ for 3 empanada style “cuban sandwiches”, 2 small bottled waters and a Diet Coke. I’m not one to write bad reviews, and know the hospitality industry can be tough. Also Miami is expensive sure, but this is just a rip off considering the price was not even reflected in the quality of the food! They were doughy, dry and very salty.. not a good flavor to the chicken either. I’d never buy here again, and would try ANY other empanada place with reasonable prices at the airport.
Lady/man was very rude servicing. Practically refused to serve us. Over priced also $35 for cookie small drink small fruit cup and pizza which I imagine was ready by the time we landed despite waiting an hour.
February 28, 2020 Waste of money $800 ticket party of 7 The food was mediocre for the price . churrascos were served cold and sending them back was a no-winner! Ok lobster Espresso coffee was also cold, and to make it even worse the Sambuca Romana was expired. (It developed an off odor and bad taste ) .Sent it back and all the bartender did was to light the sambuca shot on fire. That was so rude! Good service. Great waitres “ Isel” the best part of the dining experience at Estefan Kitchen.
Service excelente, food not good. I ordered a Media Noche and was serviced with the bread hot but all inside was could and I paid 15.00 which is unfear. It's incredible in Cuban place no offer Cortaditos.
It was not good sandwich meat was cold 😫 on the inside and tip suggested was ridiculous, starting at 20 % to 25% the service was not good, no how can I help you,or good morning and she expects a tip I don't get it
Terrible Unhygienic food practice. Gave my Cuban sandwiches to someone else. When they opened and checked and returned it back. This guy wrapped them up and handed off to me. Avoid at all cost.
I’m sorry but as soon as I bit into my ham and cheese Cuban, I instantly regretted it. I had to spit it out. And I LOVE bread and I love a ham and Swiss Cuban but this was not it. My husband did the same thing and he eats EVERYTHING. I would not recommend this place at all.
SUCH RUDE SERVICE. The guy at the counter acts like you're bothering him if you have questions. I spent almost $30 for a mousse dessert, a muffin and a bag of chips. I had to ask for a bag. Then he just left it on the counter and I had to bag my own purchase. I had limited mobility and was wearing a brace. That didn't matter to him as he offered no assistance. The food was not worth the price either.
I'd I could give zero stars I would. I was so excited to try the Estefans' restaurant. The reviews were pretty good and the menu looked awesome...except the Miami location was closed indefinitely. So when I saw they had the express location at the airport I was excited to get my chance. Do not waste your money here. That was the most bland chicken Cuban sandwich I have ever had in my life. It's truly amazing how they managed.to make it taste exactly like the paper it can wrapped in. And express? We waited almost 15 minutes for our sandwiches with no one in front of us. Damn near missed our flight to eat here since it was in a different terminal and we ended up having to do security TWICE. And the guy taking orders was kind of a jerk. Save your money and eat paper instead. It all tastes the same.
