Everglades Quiet Bar, also known as The Ranch, is a popular spot for sports viewing, trivia, and live music. Customers rave about the friendly and accommodating service, especially mentioning servers Mason, Alex, and Adrian. The taco Tuesdays are a hit, as are the pizza and wings.
Tip: Visit on Tuesdays for the highly recommended tacos, or go to watch a game in a lively atmosphere with lots of TVs. Consider using Uber if you plan to drink.
Great music and vibe. I went Feb 20 and Rowlands live band was playing covers of high energy songs. Bartenders are nice and make a great vodka tonic. Free large ice water was much appreciated. I went late so didnt eat, but people who were eating seemed happy.
Great local sports bar and music venue. They also have line dancing on specific nights which is fun. We recently celebrated a friend's birthday there and they let us drop off a birthday cake which they served after dinner. Very accommodating. Highly recommend!
Back again! Got off early from work. I had an hour and a half before the kiddos got out of school and I was starving. I ordered the lunch special: American burger, cesar salad and a 22oz Mango Cart. Burger was nicely cooked and the Caesar salad was tasty. Not too busy around two. Food and service was great!
Definitely the best sports bar in town to watch a game in a great atmosphere. Lots of TV’s and the food and drinks are always on point. I The whole menu is really good, but the pizza and hot wings are seriously where it’s at, so good! If I go here I always Uber because I know I’m probably going to have a really, really good time!
Went there for trivia championships, really fun place! Nice and big, so you don’t feel jammed in with everyone and it’s a great place for kids because you can be a little loud and not disturb anyone.

Awesome atmosphere and service.
Nice selection of craft beers. Full bar. Happy hour prices are generous.
We always love coming here to watch soccer..football..basketball!! This is our neighborhood bar to come to!! Riley is awesome!!!
Nice atmosphere, great happy hour menu and pricing. I'll be back.
Good food, casual atmosphere, friendly staff, personal service and good sports bar.
One of the nicest sports facilities I've ever been to great owner great people from top to bottom I love Ladera Sports Center
I'm here pretty much every Tuesday. The service is great, and the food is good!
Clean sports bar. Good service, good food, standard bar/grill menu. Reasonable prices.
Kid friendly big area. Love the hot wings. Great food lots of tvs to watch fights or football
Great place! Me and my daughter had fun watching the USC game. And are waitress Kathy was super.
Great family friendly place. Good food, drinks, and service. Arcade for the kids and sports on TV for the adults. 🍻
I enjoy this place. It's more than just a local sports bar. It's a place where you can meet cool, random people, you can go a long or kids are also welcome. There's a small arcade area for the kids I'll go I wish they would upgrade the arcade dated games. Good food, ok prices. Lots of TV'S, friendly servers and bartenders. Large facility that also has a nice outdoor sitting area. Lots of parking. Very new, upscale yet super casual building facility. Everything's new and upscale in Ladera Ranch!
This is a place I frequently go to cause it is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy yourself with others in the community. The food is great, nice drink selection and awesome service every time I come here. Also a good place to hit up for watching games.
Very accommodating restaurant. I come often with my colleagues when we stay late at work. The food is good and fresh and I like grabbing a good burger and a beer. Friendly staff and comfortable prices.
The service was amazing. We chose to come here last minute for the UFC fight and there was no seating available so we found a corner to watch the UFC fight. I wasn't expecting service but Shelby went out of her way to accomodate and serve us. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!
Always have great service and food. The kitchen can be slow at times but I think that is due to the massive amount of kids soccer parties that happen there. Owner knows us by name and is always welcoming
Great place to taken in a game and have a cold beer. Staff is very friendly and easy on the eyes.
Thank you Mason on great service!!! Really enjoyed our time at the Ranch. Watching football! Let’s goooo Cowboys!!!
I love coming here, great food, great beer selection, friendly and courteous staff, it checks off all of the boxes. Oh and it's good for watching sports too if you're into that thing 👌
Great food. Currently still eating as I type this. Best calamaris I’ve ever had. I didn’t realize the food would be this good here. Will be coming back for sure!
Very nice staff, the chicken soup is worth coming back and getting for take out, good locations of tables to TVs. We will return!
Yummy food and a fun arcade for the kids to play while adults get a break.
Perfect place to watch games. The food is also really good! I typically order the philly cheesesteak sandwich with fries & it never disappoints!
Had the best time at the Ranch today for Sunday funday football! Mason was our server and was the best! He was so personable and spot on all his recommendations of food. We will definitely be back and request mason!
I've been going her for the past 7 years. This is a great place to watch all the major sporting events. My husband and I are here at least 2x a week. This place DOES have good food; it's not perfect every time, but it is 90% of the time. My son loves the chicken wings - have to get them every time I go. Love the pizza. I am not keen on their soups. The salads are great, so are the burgers. I happen to love the calamari. I have never had mandatory gratuity put on my bill, not even with large parties. They have a great happy hour menu and daily specials. We have met a lot of people who have become our friends. No place is ever perfect, but this is an awesome place for sports and just hanging out.
This place is great. I take my family often because the service and food are always top notch. The wings are good, the burgers are flavorful, and the pizzas are really good. Definitely a great local spot.
This place is a home run, or touchdown if your into football. The joint is big and can accommodate any size party. The staff is friendly, and make you feel right at home, if your home is a cool sports bar. The Chief is awesome and the specials are not dive bar treats. The menu is loaded with just about anything you could want for breakfast lunch and dinner. If you're in town swing by and enjoy yourself. The drinks are great as well, please don't drink and drive. Cheers MG
We went on a Tuesday night. Good wings and the service was great. Good value and vibes of locals, not to loud and seemed family friendly with games for the kiddos (Bring quarters 😁 ). We are new to the area so this spot will be a go to for us.
Came in Saturday for football playoffs i Sheeva was holding it down in the bar . Beautiful smile always happy in good spirits always working cleaning serving drinks staying busy . Gotta take care of her she a keeper also Sadaf and Kristen and amanda !. Had line dance super busy and never folded under pressure great customer service great staff . BOMB FOOD FREDDIE BALDO JAIME BENITO 🔥 . ASHTON VERY FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING ! GREAT ATMOSPHERE. Also Braydon such a great server guy . Very very cool guy ! take care of this staff love this place
Just moved to the area and decided to try out this place. There was a lot of appetizing grill food on the menu, almost hard to pick! We settled on the half chicken with fingerling potatoes and some appetizers - both the Irish fries and chicken were absolutely fantastic. Service was quick and friendly. Absolutely recommend.
This place is awesome!! I watch football here on Sundays and Travis and Martin and staff at the bar can not get too every request for Special spenders with busy tv's,customers and maybe the customers to see the excellent service to the whole bar and stop whining they didn't get there gave on pronto!! Give me a break the rest of the place are not in agreement with you. Enjoy Signatures hope the meet your needs asap!! This place and staff deserve lots of credit to try to keep all football fans happy!!
Loved the atmosphere here at the Ranch and service was amazing. Braden Gaspar was our server and was so fast and efficient. Will definitely come again.
We are very familiar with this sports bar. This is our first time to place to watch UFC fights. If is is a popular go early so you can get a seat. The service is incredible. It's a great place to watch sports.
Great neighborhood bar. Easy-going staff, strong drinks, and a large dance area.
Is a big place always busy food is great.
Every Tuesday, the Ranch Grill has the single greatest taco available in the south Orange County area. Some people have said that it is the greatest taco known to man. I am not one to engage in hyperbole; but some weeks, I know they are right. I have eaten this taco nearly every Tuesday for two years straight - maybe longer. I go every single Tuesday. It is an incredible mix of carne asada, bacon, grilled peppers and cheese. Order it. Order many of them. They are exceptionally delicious and amazingly filling. The staff are fun, wonderful and truly amazing people. No place is better. No taco is better. Thank you Ranch Grill - for everything.
The food here is absolutely delicious--I recommend the club sandwich, which is a wonderful variety of textures and tastes, and is probably as big as your head! I've not had the pizza, but I've heard from friends it's also very good. Great environment for watching any sporting events (lots of TVs, and large ones at that), and of course the live music is great as well.
Great menu with lots of options. Cozy sports bar. Service and food is excellent.
The reason to write this five star review is to complement our server for the entire night. She was so very helpful and polite to our entire table of guests. After a little rough greeting from management, she made the night! Thank you again! The atmosphere is great! The music is great, the security is abundant. My only disappointment is the rigid process and rules to book the venue. It seemed like booking a wedding rather than an evening of casual entertainment and dining for a party of 11!

Good sports bar. Another good lunch spot. Can be noisy. Friendly atmosphere.
Great grilled 1/2 chicken dish. Very moist and tasty. Also a good selection of beers.
Great place to watch the game, if you are in the area. Huge big screen and plenty of flat panel TVs. The garlic fries are great!
Cool place to watch sports with friends or family. Just found it really expensive for the price of food. Spent about $85 dollars+tip for three people for pizza, sandwiches and beer. Though, I loved the vibe and people, so I'll probably be back soon.
Fun atmosphere and good service. We didn't eat. It was line dancing night.
Great sports bar, tons of TVs and great service. Plenty of options on the menu but the food is just okay.
We have had a few soccer parties here and I have been here for a game or two. Not bad but be prepared to wait as it is one of the two places in Ladera to sit down, have a beer and watch a game. Fun place to watch a big game.
Lots of tvs and nice staff. Nice choice of beers. Was not amazed by the food sampler I ordered but decent for a sports bar.
Really good food and atmosphere. The server is always 4/5 stars. It's still worth going to over most places
Nice atmosphere as sport bar, clean and big. Food is ok, I enjoy the steak salad, and the fries
Good food, good drink in a wide open sports bar experience. We went for post-golf food and drinks with golf buddies and precisely achieved our goal!
Good food and service, can get a little busy for the staff on hand.
Good, friendly service. Food was good, nothing outstanding but I would go back. Would be a good place to watch a game and hang out for an afternoon.
Huge portions - very friendly staff. Fun place for games and quality food / grub. Had outside eating during COVID.
I've eaten at this restaurant with my family several times. The service has been very good and the food delicious. The hot wings are delicious, the pizza, amazing, and no one else in our party had a negative thing to say about their food. Several in our party had alcoholic drinks and non alcoholic drinks, again no complaints. We have also done take-out which has been very convenient. Of course if you are into sports they have plenty of T.V.'s to watch. All in all I would come back and recommend this restaurant.
Other than the hostess this place is great for watching sports. The food is tasty Tv's are good quality! The servers are great. Only thing is it can get extra noisy with all the little leagues that come through after their games so it gets very busy.
This has become our go-to spot when we can't think of what we want to eat. They have everything from sandwiches (go for the turkey or chicken!), salads (not their specialty but still decent), pizzas, pasta, and tacos....awesome wings, pretzels and sweet potatoes fries, too! && all of that pairs well with sports and an ice cold beer :) (I appreciate that they also have non alcoholic beer options like Heineken Zero)
Food is bomb ,generously portioned, draft beers taste weird tho ,cool bartenders all around ,cozy family spot to watch sports
Typical bar food, maybe above average, but fairly slow. Better at night when you can take time, watch a game while you eat.
Best Caesar Salad in OC. Service was awful. We constantly had to track down our waitress to order additional food and drinks. The place was 1/4 full and yet it took a long time to get two soft tacos. Our waitress knew we were upset with so she pulled a nice stunt and added a mandatory gratuity to our bill...never even said thank you. I talked to the manager and complained. He was nice enough to offer some gift certificates but I refused because I don't want to give them any more of my business. We won't be back for a very long time.
Other than Kristen who goes out of her way, most of the bartenders have the personality of a doorknob and act like they are doing you a favor by serving you. I've been going there for several months because its across the street from from my house...........otherwise i would have found another place to spend my time and money.
Cool spot but stick to beer because the lady who served us couldn't make our Palomas...was essentially lemonade
Unless it's game night do not go there. Food is very mediocre and COLD. The Wed staff is only interested in bar clientele. Even though we had drinks Alex let the good get ice cold before serving it to us. Very disappointed.
It's awesome that they show UFC fights. It's not awesome that you CAN'T hear them... Turn up the sound! That makes the experience.
A treasure trove of an establishment, the staff's commitment to excellence is evident and the bartenders are warm and welcoming. The cultural essence is a highlight, I hope they continue to host more Latin-inspired evenings, the energy is electric and the crowd is fantastic.
The wait staff needs to be educated on what is being served behind the bar. One waitress was trying to be helpful but wasn't able to tell me anything besides the names of the beers on tap. Me: What IPA or Hazy beers do you offer? Waitress: Oh, we have "blah, blah, blah". Me: Is that an IPA? Waitress: I don't know. I had to look up the style on my phone. Average sports bar in a popular location. Nothing special.
I’m a regular here and I posted before but I think they must be going through management change or something eating dinner there on Friday night with NBA finals and NHL Stanley Cup 2025 games on and at about 6 PM they called the staff meeting which lasted I’m guessing 45 minutes so we had no waiters or serversfor a good portion of our visit, I’ll be back but it was kind of a bummer.
Came on busy night, was warned that food would be slow, but it wasn’t, kudos. However cheese fries came out already congealed. That so uncommon for a restaurant that I had to look up how to spell congealed. The spicy chicken sandwich had two chicken fingers for the meat, which is odd as it costs more than chicken fingers.
Never been to this place, My friend wanted to go So I met them there. Not really impressed with it. Definitely a sports bar, loud. Food was just okay. The hostess was fantastic! The waitress was absolutely sweet and new her stuff and was so kind. She was the best part about the place. Would I go back No. C+
The food is good. The service is not. Not sure if it is because we are not "regulars", but we don't need to go back.
Great venue & we love our Sticks & Stones band!! Service, attention & timing could be better....the Kids just don't pay attention to their customers or the tables.....we had to go looking for them or get our own items several times!! There are so many what are they all doing?!? Pay attention to your customer & guest requests, please!! The screen over head are very glarry when there a band playing, difficult to see them, bad lightening. Dance floor should have been bigger tables need to be pulled back. Again the Kids didn't seem to know or pay attention?!?

The ambience is great! Nicely decorated sports bar. Unfortunately they got my kid"s order wrong. Then they replaced it and it was frozen in the middle (corn dog) then finally got it right. My kid was hungry and waiting. Got apologies, of course, perhaps not charging for that frozen corn dog would have fared better. May go back still for ambience and beer. Maybe it will be a better experience so I can rate this place higher .

Ruben sandwich. Order a beer and dump the salt shaker into your mouth. Same thing. Onion rings were good so they get a two stars.
Ordered to French Dip. Meat was tough, very dry, and loaded with black pepper- too spicy to eat. Been sick for 6 hours.
There was a time this place had a menu, now, they have nothing. After 10-years of chicken-wing loyalty, our relationship has come to an end.
Come for the Big Screen TV not for the food not the service. Their menu is all over the place and the three items I ordered didn't pass the "would I order this again" test. First I thought thought I would be safe with Chicken Wings... wrong. More bone than meat on these babies with a sauce that was uninspired. Moved on to their Calamari, meh. Finished with their Veggie Spring Rolls, these were better than my first two choices but still not a winner. Good beer selection so that gives them a star. Poor service though. Won't be back.
This place has always underwhelmed me, every time I've gone. Starting with the menu, there's just not a whole lot of exciting options, and everything's incredibly overpriced. I got the BBQ chicken burger. The chicken breast was dry, and the food wasn't very flavorful. I also tried a chicken quesadilla, and the salsa on it was not good at all. The fries I tried could use a lot more salt, and the sweet potato fries I got had way too much. It's not too hard to get these simple items wrong, yet they did, so I can't recommend this place.
My wife and I have gone to Ranch Sports Grill for date night on Friday nights numerous times. However, a few weeks ago, things went differently than usual. When I asked for the check at the end of our meal the server pulled out the credit card reading device (it had a screen) and asked for my card. Instinctually I just handed him my card, assuming he was just placing it in the unit and allowing me to review the bill and complete the transaction. Instead he handed me the device already advanced to the tip screen. However, thankfully I noticed at the top of the screen it listed an amount higher than expected for our bill. $46.52 for a hamburger and a nachos appetizer. I mentioned to him that I didn’t think the amount was right, and he sheepishly explained that there’s a forced gratuity of 18% automatically applied to all bills that night. It seemed apparent he was a little embarrassed that I noticed, especially since he brought me straight to the tip screen, obviously hoping that I would double tip him. I explained that I would be happy to leave a gratuity, but that I did not agree with a gratuity being forced upon me, especially when no notice had been given. He said he would have to go get his supervisor. When the supervisor arrived I explained that we had been there several times before on Friday evenings, and that there had never been a forced gratuity before. He explained that sometimes they do it, and sometimes they don’t. I explained to him that there was no notice given. He said it was posted at the entrance. I explained to him that we saw no such notice. He left, and walked over to the entrance to look around. When he came back he confirmed that there wasn’t a sign at the entrance, but that there were signs taped up behind the bar. I explained that (obviously) we were not at the bar, and that we were in the dining area. He said that it still counted, that the bill was what it was, and that since they already scanned my card that the bill, along with the forced gratuity, was already paid for anyway. I never agreed to this, nor did I sign for anything. I explained that this was inappropriate, and that I would escalate the issue. I called the next day to speak with a manager, but I was told she wouldn’t be available until after the weekend. Then I called on Monday, and was told she might be in later in the day. I called again, and apparently she still wasn’t in. I tried the next day, left my contact information, asking for a call back whenever she got it. I never received a call. I called several more times throughout the week, and was never able to reach anyone I could discuss the matter with. Ultimately I had to file a report with Visa to resolve the issue that way. It’s unfortunate, as we really wanted to support a business in our community. We sincerely want Sports Ranch Grill to succeed, but treating your customers like this isn’t how to do it. The poor service, and shady forced gratuity practice (which I’ve now seen other reviews discussing), has left a bad taste in our mouths. I don’t think we’ll be returning.

When you get your bill from the ranch be sure to review it ..... I guarantee you're being overcharged... the environments fun the food is good but because of this they lost our business and a lot of people's business for life
I have been a patron for several years and recently have become extremely disappointed by management. My last visit was met with ignored service and the co-owner displayed such irrational behavior that has pursuaded me to go elsewhere and never return. It is disappointing because I used to really like this place.
Horrible food and even worse beer! Ordered calamari and Bud lite draft. Calamari came out hard as a rock and the Bud lite was super sour we had to send it all back then ordered bottled beer and nachos. Nachos came out cold 🤦♀️
There French fries are the worst I've ever eaten and there like tinny pieces of the left over bottom of the bag and this happens every time so I gave up telling them what the problem is. I will never go back again and besides they raise the hell of their prices. On a scale 1-to 10 I give it a 2 not worth going over there again.
This place needs Bar Rescue. Staff is friendly and food is ok. General Management and Ownership is clueless!
I recently had the displeasure of dining at The Ranch, and let me tell you, it was an experience I wish I could forget. Where do I even begin? The ambiance was lackluster, with dim lighting that made it difficult to read the menu and see the unappetizing food they served. The decor looked like it hadn't been updated since the 1970s, and not in a charming retro way, but in a sad and neglected way. The service was abysmal. The waitstaff seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to the customers. It took forever to get our orders taken, and even longer for the food to arrive. When it did, it was cold and clearly reheated in a microwave. The dishes were sloppily plated and lacked any semblance of presentation. And don't even get me started on the food itself. It tasted like it had been sitting out all day, with flavors that were bland and unappealing. The ingredients seemed low quality, and I couldn't shake the feeling that I could have cooked a better meal at home with half the effort. To top it all off, the prices were exorbitant for the poor quality of the food and service. I left The Ranch feeling disappointed, unsatisfied, and frankly, a bit queasy. Save your money and your taste buds—steer clear of this culinary disaster of a restaurant.
Bad service and very unprofessional, rude, and disorganized staff. We waited for two hours and we didn’t get a table and the line dancing never happened. I came here on 4/13/24 because my friend had seen their advertisement for line dancing and had invited me and our friends. The line dancing was supposed to start at 9 pm, but we waited for two hours and it never began. We also never got a table so we had to stand for two hours. There was a boxing game going on simultaneously apparently and the employees prioritized that over line dancing. We asked multiple staff when the line dancing would begin but they kept on dragging it on and saying it’ll begin soon. We eventually left after two hours.
4/26 Ordered the fish and chips. I have had it previously and it was great. This time I got three little fish sticks not much bigger than a finger. Had to have been frozen, I had to ask for tarter sauce and lemon. Substituted a salad for fries and it was like it was from a bag with bag greens. Had to ask for silverware and a handful of packaged plastic silverware was dropped on the table. Very disappointing experience. Hope this is not a sign of things to come for this place.
I ordered fish n chips and they brought out frozen fish and not cooked at all in the middle. Absolutely disgusting biting into that. The service also just sucked they took forever to take my food away cause I guess my server went home. But they should of had a another server take care of us. I had to ask another one after waiting forever. Not going back and do not recomend seems like a lot of there food is just frozen food and not fresh. They need to seriously get new management in there.
Arrived on time for our reservation. Waited. Promised a server would be right with us. 30 minutes later told we won’t be able to order from the menu and must order from the limited menu at the bar. What the heck!! Why promise stuff you can’t deliver. Very very very disappointed in the employee who we spoke to attitude when I was expressing my frustration she literally just walked away. I have to mind my manners but man I want to cuss her out for real!!!!
Dingey lighting, extremely bland food. Owner clearly doesn't care about maintaining the place. Got seated at a booth with torn and ripped seat cushions. Sign on the building has extremely visible rust. Wait staff is zombified, no management to be seen. This is the kind of place you'd see on Bar Rescue.
I’m not sorry but I come in all the time and the short brunette bar tender is the absolute worst!! It’s Sunday foot ball and the bar was empty and I still sat there with an empty beer for more then 20 minutes…… check please. Only come in if Alex or Adrian are working the bar. These ladies are LAZY!!! Or stop pulling tips! Such a disappointment, this used to be my favorite bar.
This is NOT a SPORTS BAR! Yes, they have TVs.. They have No Knowledge of College football season beginning and nor do they care. We had a large football party of 18 that arrived and they sat us for awhile and then proceeded to tell us we had to MOVE! They were going to have a band play on a major football night. Completely understand having a band on nights there is no sports. We could tell from the moment we walked in that this place did not have good management. Do Not recommend this place for any sport enjoyment.
Very strange experience; was hit on my a regular even though I was there with my husband. We had to leave the bar because it did not feel safe and the staff did not do anything about it. Be careful single ladies!
