A truly lovely place to enjoy a delicious sandwich and a beer! There's also a restaurant and you can reach it by car. We hiked up from Brescia, climbing 600 meters, so we sat at a table on the large terrace. You sit down and the staff comes over to take your order. Everything was delicious at reasonable prices! Recommended!

Escape the city and head to the town's mountain. Cavrelle Restaurant, located at the top of the mountain, is worth a visit for some fresh air and a delicious mixed grill. Reservations are required. The outdoor veranda is beautiful and well-shaded. Recommended.

Staff always very kind and helpful, excellent food to say the least, the casoncelli are truly worth it! You can eat with a beautiful view of the city of Brescia, which is even more characteristic in the evening because it is illuminated.

Brescia's favorite rest stop on the summit of Mount Maddalena. After a strenuous climb on foot or by bike, Le Cavrelle is a refreshing oasis where you can enjoy some well-deserved treats and relax, with a breathtaking view of the valley. You can enjoy a proper meal, with casoncelli (a type of pasta) and grilled meat, or other traditional dishes. Or you can opt for a quick meal with sandwiches and a beer, my favorite. The Bomba sandwich, with strinù (a type of sausage) and melted cheese, is a must-try and should be tried at least once in your life. Service is very fast (less than two minutes for sandwiches), attentive staff, and fair prices. For the grilled meat, it's always best to book in advance. You can also get there by bus or car; there's plenty of parking, but on hot days, many Brescians tend to show up, and you might not find a spot.

Posto panoramico dove ammirare gran parte della provincia bresciana. Dal monte Maddalena si potranno ammirare volteggiare gli appassionati di parapendio. Il locare offre tavolo all'aperto dove consumare aperitivi e bibite. Il ristorante offre tavoli vicino alle vetrate panoramiche. Famoso per spiedo e grigliate. In estate ottimo per trovare frescura.

Historic place on Mount Maddalena, spectacular panoramic view, classic food good quality/price ratio, ranging from grilled meat to tagliata to casoncelli speck and radicchio, generous portions, various types of cakes. They pay attention to celiacs and lactose intolerance. Informal place but it's always nice to return ... even after an excursion to Maddalena!

A hilltop restaurant with breathtaking views. The cuisine is excellent. Definitely try the grilled meats accompanied by numerous side dishes. The local cured meats are excellent. Service tends to be formal but not cold, with professional and helpful staff. The interior has a welcoming, retro feel, with wood and stone being the predominant elements. The wall fireplaces, with a slightly more contemporary design, are interesting. The stone terrace offers a wonderful view that, to call it picturesque, is an understatement. The building itself is noteworthy. Very impressive.

Nice, spacious, and clean place. Outdoor terrace overlooking Brescia. Plenty of parking. Everything was delicious, the melted cheese was truly excellent. In my opinion, the highlight is the grilled meat, which was not greasy and perfectly cooked, with delicious, crispy sides. The ribs they served us had the meat attached, not the fat. The homemade desserts were also delicious. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Si sta freschi, il panorama è bello, la terrazza piacevole, location informale ma un minimo di servizio ci vorrebbe. Ho ordinato un aperitivo ed una porzione di patatine, neppure un tovagliolo di carta! Non dico la tovaglia o la salvietta ma almeno i tovaglioli.

NOT RECOMMENDED - A beautiful location with a beautiful view, but the food is so poor: Tagliatelle with wild boar ragù was clearly precooked and tasteless. For the main course, a rib eye steak that was clearly frozen, thawed, and thrown on the grill... rubbery and tasteless. Basically, if you order the mixed grill, you might eat a little better. If you order à la carte, like my wife and I did, they're not prepared to cater to everything on their menu. It looks like a restaurant with their own specialty, "mixed grill." Don't order anything else because it feels like you're doing them a disservice. It's a shame because it's a comfortable place, with a positive note on the wine list, a good selection, and fair prices.

The restaurant's highlight is undoubtedly the summer terrace, which remains cool and breezy even in the 35-degree heat of the city. The food is mediocre; some ribs are dry and burned, others are better. If it weren't a great way to escape the blistering heat, we wouldn't go there. It's also SHAMEFUL to present restaurant customers with a terrible bathroom after hundreds of people have frequented the bar that day. It needs a clean! I came in before dinner and felt sick!
