Dit restaurant stond al hoog op het lijstje! Vanavond hebben wij hier heerlijk kunnen eten voor een goede prijs. We werden geholpen door een hele lieve, warme en vooral gastvrije dame. Ze is zo lief! Ze probeerde in het Engels te praten maar ging in het Spaans verder, niet erg! Ze hielp ons heel goed en nam echt de tijd voor haar gasten. Ze vroeg alles in het Spaans, maar was voor ons heel duidelijk! De menu’s waren in veel talen beschikbaar, zelfs in het Nederlands! De bediening is echt super en ook wel heel grappig. Hier komen wij zeker terug! De locatie is ook precies goed. Even weg van al het toeristische van Puerto Rico en echt even tot rust komen. ¡Muchas gracias por su hospitalidad y la deliciosa comida! ¡Volveremos pronto!

We were there in August during our holidays on our daily trip to Puerto Rico. Accidentally found this restaurant and dicided to have lunch there .We were only guest in the restaurant at that moment.Very warm welcome by kind man,who took our order, made is drinks and then prepared our food. I had tuna file and my boyfriend had half roast chicken,both delicious. He was the only one working there ,so I asked him is he running a business by himself. He explained that is the family business but he's family ended up in hospital that day.We chated a little bit,and I want to say that he was absolutely fantastic,such a kind man with warm welcome and great hospitality despite his hard situation at that moment.We hope everything is going good for you and your family, and wish you the best in your future business. Helpful staff and delicious homemade food. The portions are large! Prices are reasonable. For ribs (in sweet sauce, very tasty!), Shank (very soft), burger, drinks for three, 2 coffees and cheesecake paid 55 €. We wish you good clients! ❤️

Went there yesterday and it is definitely the best food we’ve had so far during our visit here. We had the olives and bread with tomato salsa and Serrano ham on for the starters and the most delicious meat as the main course. We also ordered the beer that was local here and it was very good. The staff was also super friendly and made our visit a 10/10. Would definitely go back there!

Nach einem Tipp eines Einheimischen, hat es uns in dieses Seitenstraße getrieben. Das Restaurant ist von außen unscheinbar und man sitzt auf dem Parkplatz vor den Gebäude. Dennoch schafft es die herzliche Bedienung und das leckere Essen einen positiven Eindruck zu hinterlassen. Wir kommen wieder.

A cozy and simple little eatery. We had a lovely meal there with our family and three kids. The owner was warm and welcoming. Highly recommended if you’re in Puerto Rico. We enjoyed the delicious sea bass, paella, and grilled tenderloin. It’s close to the beach and easy to find. Thanks for the wonderful evening and great food—we’ll definitely be back!

Best Place in Peurto Rico De Gran Canaria ! That’s is finest food we have on one day journey to this town. Wonderfull couple running this small , modest restaurant . Home made cooking like you’ve been invited to somebodys house , they cook with LOVE ! Everything it’s made from stratch , so you will wait for your food around 25-30 minutes but it’s WORTH IT ! Highly recomended this place for delicious local, original Canarias cousine :)

During our recent holiday we ate in this restaurant twice. The food was beautiful. The sea bass was very tasty, Their paella was very good also. The restaurant was small and in a quiet area therefore lacking atmosphere. Owner/Chef was very chatty, friendly and welcoming.

We were treated like royalty and the fish was amazing! We weren't sure if the place was any good, because it was empty (we eat way to early for a Spanish country) But don't let that stop you. We had the fish of the day (Seabass) which was very good. Had room left for desert that also didn't disappoint. As we were the only ones there, we got the royal treatment. Loved our enthousiastic host. I highly recommend this place.

FANTASTICO!!! Grillowane chorizo i świeża salsa zafundowały mi takie doznania smakowe, jakich nidgy wcześniej nie doświadczyłem. Dania niesamowicie pyszne i w bardzo przystępnych cenach. Generalnie to mała rodzinna knajpka z bardzo niewielką ilością miejsca (!). Miejsca parkingowe są (4), ale zazwyczaj zajęte, bo obok jest market. Polecam ten lokal jak mało który... 5 gwiazdek zdecydowanie zasłużone!

It’s a shame they don’t invest a bit more in the patio to make it look like a proper restaurant; as it is, it looks more like a fast food place. However, the food is absolutely delicious. The service is also good, even though no one really speaks good English. I definitely recommend this place for excellent food!

This was recommended to us and a great find. Lovely food cooked and served fresh. Grilled sardines were amazing, the best I have ever had. We also had grilled by squid and homemade croquettes. Tapas dishes were great for sharing and the hosts were very welcoming and the lack of English - Spanish - English language made for some amusing conversations. I don’t think I’ve ever met such happy restaurant owners! Would highly recommend for a casual meal with great food.

Today’s special was grilled sea bass with potatoes, which was perfectly cooked and very satisfying. Overall, the food was excellent!

Excellent food! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We wanted to go back there because it was one of our best meals during our staying, but unfortunately it was closed. If we go to Gran Canaria again, we'll definitely go back to this restaurant.

The best food we had on a three week trip. It is quite pricey though. For example 33cl Pepsi is 4 euro. The food is worth it though, great grilled fish, squid tentacles and shrimp/mushroom in garlic oil.

Een simpel klein restaurant met een hele uitgebreide kaart, ook in het Nederlands. Je moet even zoeken, ze zitten wat achteraf naast een Dino. Het eten is meer dan voortreffelijk. We hebben o.a gegrilde zeebaard gegeten en Paella, Perfect! Het was ons huisrestaurant gedurende ons verblijf.

The food here was really tasty, and you can tell they use fresh ingredients. The garlic bread was especially good – maybe the best I've ever had! I also loved the grilled sea bass; it had a lot of flavour. The grilled meat, though, was a little tough to eat. The restaurant is in a great spot, but it's tricky to find a parking space nearby.

The staff were very friendly and the food was incredibly delicious. It’s quite an expensive place — we had two seafood paellas and fried calamari rings as a starter, plus one non-alcoholic beer and an Aperol Spritz, which came to €62. There’s no doubt everything was very tasty, but I found it a bit pricey.

Mixed impressions. 🧐 Tasty food: well cooked chicken breast and sea bass with papas arrugadas. Sangria de cava and cafè leche-leche in our opinion were also good. Speaking about the bill, time for surprises! Garlic chicken breast which we ordered was 11,95€ in the menu but 13,90€ in the bill. Sea bass was 18€ in the words of the waiter who recommended this dish of the day to us; 19,95€ in the bill. One more line “menu 1,85€” lands in the menu out of blue sky - looks like the restaurant taxes a sauce to chicken breast as “extra”; while sauce to papas arrugadas is “included”… P. S. “Service is not included in the bill”, we are told while receiving the bill. Whaaat?!! 😝🙈 Conclusion: trick your client by a couple € three times, and you get 6€ out of thin air. In the end, the aftertaste feels like being treated as stupid or as if carrying a bag full of money… 🥶 P. P. S. The date printed on the bill contributes to the feeling of the restaurant “washing hands” off any possible claim or complaint…

Being honest with you. The dishes we have had were ok, but nothing more than that. "Toast with avocado and mozzarella" for 10€: Two slices of toast, no mozzarella, instead just a slice of normal cheese, not grilled or melted, only just a toast with cheese and hard avocado pieces. Too expensive for what you get. "Shrimps with goat cheese": A plate with 6 cold shrimps from the fridge and a few pieces of goat cheese. I would have expected it to be heated up or having it mixed up in some kind of sauce or something. Sounded way more spectacular than what it was. "Canary Salad with grilled goat cheese": Cheese was not grilled at all, it was cold.

We had a dinner in Grill Caribe. We ordered a seabass and grilled meat. Seabas was quite okay and taste good, but the rest was quite far from that. All the meat was very dry, I have ordered medium, and I've got dry well done. The mojo sauce for potatos was mixed with water, so the taste was awfull. I would not recommend and would not pick it one more time.

Shockingly Disrespectful Service and Uncomfortable Atmosphere DO NOT COME HERE We had a very upsetting experience at Grill Caribe in Puerto Rico (Gran Canaria), and feel it’s important to share it honestly. From the moment we arrived, the server was openly rude. He swore at elderly guests, using the only word he seemed to know in our language. There was no respect, no courtesy, nothing resembling professional service. The restaurant tables were dirty and crooked right next to a road with prices of professional restaurants with great interior. We also noticed that we were expected to place our own plates and serve ourselves, which was surprising, considering high prices in the restaurant, but the reaction when we asked to split the bill was far worse. The server actually started yelling at us in front of the entire restaurant, as if our request was unreasonable. It was uncomfortable and humiliating. We also had found a piece of plastic in our food. Instead of approaching our table, the server shouted across the restaurant for us to come to him to discuss it, again with no apology. The chef did later apologize politely, which we appreciate — but the server’s behavior overshadowed everything. We were also not the only ones to complain at that time. After the other guest had complained the server started speaking in Spanish about how he doesn’t like tourists. We had also ordered one paella “for one” and another “for two” (at double the price), but the portions were barely different in size. To make the situation even worse, a man who claimed he had been coming here for 42 years and was clearly drunk began yelling at us and pointing, while staff did NOTHING to de-escalate the situation. Even worse the server himself started involving other customers in our complaint, seeming completely out of it like he was drunk or high on something.The atmosphere felt hostile. We genuinely considered calling the police because of how uncomfortable and unsafe it became. This was one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. Between the disrespect, the hygiene issue, the aggressive environment, and the complete lack of professionalism, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. The chef tried to be kind, but the server’s behavior was unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately. There are many nice restaurants at this island but not this one.

Stanowczo nie polecam, obsługa chciała nas oszukać na 40 euro na rachunku. Naliczył dodatkowe koszty do rachunku, w trakcie wyjaśniania odszedł i nic nie powiedział…

Absolute awful burgers. The meat is not fresh as shown in older pictures. It’s low-grade, pre-compressed beef with no flavor and bad texture - just look at the pictures. Feels cheap and careless. Would not recommend.

Horrible, debe haber cambiado de dueño. La peor comida que he comido en mi vida, comida descongelada en la plancha , horrible

No me parece ni medio normal no dejar usar el baño sin consumir algo!!! Es único sitio donde nos ha pasado esto!!

Vinimos por las buenas reseñas pero nos vamos defraudados. Servicio muy lento, tardaron muchísimo en preparar cosas simple s. Pedimos una ensalada que compraron en el supermercado de al lado ( lo vimos salir con ella de allí) y nos cobraron 9€. Lo demás fue una tortilla de gambas que sin más, acompañada de patatas fritas y unos raviolis de queso y salmón que al menos estaban buenos. El tinto de verano de bote muy amargo. Al menos el camarero era simpático.
