Food was awesome delish, I got mushroom swiss burger and very tasty. Real french fries, not frozen kind, made me think of Broncos in Omaha, they use real french fries, you don't find too many of them places. Clean dinning area, friendly staff

Stopped by here on our way back to Dallas. We had 6 people with us, ordered 6 different meals, plus 4 ice creams, and they got everything right. We weren't missing anything. The burgers were delicious. I love Whataburger, but I think I have to even admit they are better than Whataburger🫣. We each all got burgers, and everyone loved theirs. The service was friendly and fast. The fries were probably a 6 or 7 out of 10, but the burgers were definitely a 10. They even had my favorite type of ice (kinda like sonics ice). I would definitely stop by here again if we are ever in the area.

There food is amazing and the employees are always so very nice and make you feel right at home. The restaurant is always very clean and the atmosphere is always full of good energy. We got the bacon double cheeseburger and the mushroom swiss burger both with cajun fries. Both burgers were juicy and very flavorful! The fries were well seasoned and seemed to be made in house. We will definitely be coming back.

I was in Lulu’s on the same day, and remember this incident. The manager was actually great and the customers seemed to me to be very rude. I don’t know these people but seems like maybe Leanne Michell might have a personal axe to grind.

Mushroom Swiss burger is so good that I get it almost every time. It's juicy and flavorful, not dry and boring. My only complaint is that the fries can be hit or miss. Some days they are crispy golden perfection and other days they're disappointingly undercooked. The sweet potato fries are usually pretty good though!

Great burger! What a burger could take lessons from Lulu's. Haven't eaten at Lulu's in 4+ years and had heard they weren't as good as before but, was pleasantly surprised to find that was not the case. Now that we live close, Lulu's is on the regular rotation list.

Once ever few months my wife and I make a trip to get some Ghost-Fire Burgers & fresh fries, when we have time to dine-in I usually add the Lousiana Hot sause, it's a mouthwatering experience. Yesterday was one of those days, we went in the afternoon, so it wasn't very crowded even for a Fish Friday. We didn't have to wait long at all and the music was 80/90 hits, got a chuckle while I was eating when one of the workers was dancing a bit to Hey Mickey, something about that just kind of made my day.

It really is one of the best places to eat in Commerce. It is always good, it is clean and the staff is nice. Lots of great burgers and other options too. We live the specials on Sunday and Wednesdays since we have a large family. We eat well for about the same cost as fast food on those days. They also have low carb options. They will make a burger wrapped in lettuce and you can get a side salad instead of fries on the combo meals.

Such a great local find! I happen to come on a Wednesday right at 4 pm and come to find out they offer BOGO burgers on Wednesday’s at 4. The portion is good too. You most definitely get your bang for your buck here.

I went Lulu’s when I was a student of the University nearby and never wrote a review. But I wish I did, because their food is amazing. Just recently visited for the first time in seven years. Didn’t have to wait too long for the food and it was delicious. Burgers and fries cooked to perfection. My only wish is that the restaurant will open in other places outside of Commerce, TX. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who lives near the area.

Came to commerce for a college tour and this place was a great recommendation The food was delicious. I was very surprise how tasty and juicy my turkey burger. We really enjoyed the French fries and we could tell that they were fresh cut without a lot of salt. Great! The fried pickles spears were also tasty. I would definitely come back.

Me and my friends went up there right up to some work at the high school and we got two buffalo chicken sandwiches combo And a bacon cheeseburger. Our food came fairly fast, even though they were really packed, and the food was cooked thoroughly same for the fries all Was seasoned really well. then I went and I got me a shake, which was one of the best shakes. I’ve ever had ,super flavorful even though it was a vanilla shake.

I went two weeks ago. I wanted to try the fish. It was very good. There was 4 pc.fish, fries, and Cole slaw. It was great!!! I went today and got 3 pieces of fish and fries. No cole slaw. It was still very good but missed the Cole slaw.

This place is a classic small town diner style burger joint. I like the simplicity, the courtesy, menu, cleanliness, honesty.... it's a good ma and pa joint. The portions leave full, the food is cooked to order, and the fixins are all fresh. They have a special on Wednesday that's worth going for right now. Restroom is clean and well kept, plenty of seating. Final judgment: need a really good burger and some fries? Hit this joint, they make a VERY delicious burger at the very least with kind service and a relaxed atmosphere. The fries leave a little to be desired, but a small price to pay when you consider the quality of service, food, and price you get here. Go ahead, try em. You'll be back.

Food was fresh and delicious. I have tasted a lot of their different burgers. They have great sweet potato fries, mac and cheese bites, and sweet tea. A nice spot to go to after church or other functions. Kept me well fed during my undergrad days.

The cheeseburger was very good. But I didn't care for the fries at all. They were not at all any kind of crisp they were limp and greasy. Kinda disappointed for as much as I payed for 2 cheeseburgers and 2 fries no drinks. If I were to go back I wouldn't buy that order again. It was way to much money for the quality of the food. I could have went into a decent restaurant and ate something good for that amount of money. Don't think I will soon do that again.

My daughter and I shared the chicken tenders. The food was hot, tasted good. The reason why not the 5 stars is because my daughter wanted a shake and they were out of milk. The lady upfront was working, but for my preferences I wish she could have been a little bit more friendly.

I’m always on the look out for a good burger, so I stopped in Lulu’s on my way through Commerce. The place is a fairly typical burger dive. It was pretty clean and inviting. They have a couple specials throughout the week. I ordered the Texas BBQ burger and upgraded to the 1/2 pound patty. The burger was juicy and had a good taste. The Texas BBQ burger comes with jalapeños which were a little heavy in my opinion, but the extras were easily removed. One of the reviewers on Yelp mentioned a strange taste to the drinks that come out of the drink fountain. I experienced this as well, but it wasn’t terrible. My Coke had a hint of the taste like the rubber from the hose. I assume it’s from the hoses that connect the drink fountain to the water supply. Probably could solve this issue by changing or checking the hoses. The fries were pretty standard and a bit thicker cut. They did have a good crisp to them which I enjoyed. The ranch that they make in the restaurant is definitely on point. I ordered some of the ranch to dip the fries in and was glad I did so. The ranch has a great taste and was a little thicker in consistency which made it good for dipping. While Lulu’s isn’t on my list of all time best burgers, I would definitely stop in again if I go through Commerce.

I got the mushroom swiss with fries and a Coke. Burger was pretty good, although I don't much care for lettuce and tomato on a mushroom swiss. Fries would have been all right if they weren't almost as cold as my Coke. For $14.05 with tax, I've had better.

The food can be hit and miss at times. Usually pretty decent though. The service is usually the most lacking part, maybe because it's kids running the front. But there is plenty of room and it's spread out enough that people aren't sitting right on top of one another when busy.

The burgers here really are great, from the basic ones to the specialty ones. The fries are decent, and they give you a lot of them. The chicken is pretty good, too. But there is something weird going on with the water at some Commerce restaurants, including this one. The ice makes the sodas taste off, and the iced tea also has a funny taste. So maybe skip the drinks (or at least skip the ice).

Decent food, but very greasy. The fries are just okay, but the burgers are good. The one thing I can say about Lulu's is that they're consistent. You always know exactly what you're gonna get, what it'll taste like, and how you'll feel afterwards (for better or worse). My friend and I used to eat here every time I visited him in commerce, so I have good memories here. That may color this review.

Lulu’s is a decent restaurant. The burgers are good (I get the #6) and their fries are hand cut and delicious! So are the fried pickles. The girls working there get bored easily and are on their phones, presumably because it is slow (or was when I have been there). The atmosphere? It could have a lot more. I have seen the TV in the back, it never is on. There’s no music playing to make this place interesting.

They have the best fish sandwich 🤤!!! Shrimp basket can be better though...

Got a burger that was pretty to look at, but had no flavor whatsoever. Pretty underwhelming. Onion rings were great, though and I liked the bun. Kind of pricey, but the amount of food you get is worth the price. Also liked the fact that nothing was greasy, so I could eat without feeling queasy.

We like the food and the service. Unfortunately, we ordered what we usually order in the drive thru and it came in a much smaller package. The amount of fries was reduced by about half. Got in the drive through again and asked for an extra order of fries to compensate. They said they only have one size now, a medium-ish size and it’s, I don’t know, about 40% more than the price of a large listed on the menu. We cancelled the order on principle. I guess, at the end of the day, you may not be getting what you think you are getting for the price listed on the menu when you order. It seems deceptive. It’s probably not intended to be, just be aware.

We had a late lunch today at Lulus. Our hamburgers were great, but the fries were cold. The facility itself was filthy with food all over the floor, the mop and dirty water were at the entrance, obviously not being used. The bathroom was dirty with no toilet paper and all of the trash cans were overflowing!!!!! Someone needs to give this place a thorough cleaning!!!!!!! It’s long overdue!!!!!

My drive thru order is wrong 65% of the time. But the food is that good I keep going back. Make sure you ask the person at the window to double check your order. I always forget though. But again, food so good I still go back.

I don't know what happened, Lulu's use to be our preferred burger place in Commerce. Not after tonight. We ordered a Burger Combo, Fried Chicken Sandwich Combo and a salad. My husband's drink was wrong, his Tots were a little burned and my daughter's Chicken was burned and dry. It's so sad😥

Food is good, but the staff is very unpleasant. Instead of showing basic customer service skills we were basically greeted with eye rolls. On top of that, my order wasn't even made correctly. I know the food is not a reflection of the staff, so for that reason I will recommend. I just wish the girls working up front were a tad bit more friendly. They genuinely made me feel like i was bothering them by coming to pick up my order... Edit: This review has nothing to do with being asked to come in to pick up my order (hence why I didn't mention it). It has everything to do with the fact that when I came in they were extremely unwelcoming and the eye rolls were very uncalled for. I did stop to wonder if I was thinking too much into it, but I was validated in my review when I read others who also had a shared experience. Food is very good nevertheless.

I’ve heard good things about this place, so I was excited to try it. I ordered my food then sat in line for over 30 minutes. When I got my food I was happy with the smell and the size. The burger tasted homemade but the fries. They were horrible. The outside was burnt yet the inside was undercooked. If you go here I do not recommend getting the combo. Just get the burger.

The burger was good, fries were good but soggy. The soda from the machine tasted dirty. The restaurant was filthy. The floors are sticky and there is a buildup of grime everywhere. I can't imagine what the kitchen looks like. The service was completely unfriendly. They acted like I was an inconvenience. For a bacon cheeseburger, fries and drink it was just under 15 dollars.

It's cooked like you would at home, so it's not a fast food joint. The food is what I can make at home, for about triple the price. If you want to avoid cooking, it's still not super worth it. Im glad I tried it, since it seems like a place that's good to bring someone to, but unfortunately the price above all else makes me drop it from my list. I bet a not insignificant portion of the price is going to the ingredients, with the impeccably manicured lawn not far behind.

Great place to get a burger! Love eating here (especially with the Wednesday BOGO deal). Kind of on the pricier side these days, but I like eating locally. But it is seriously held back by one annoying detail. The drink fountain.. Oh my, the drink fountain. The water tastes bad, and it also affects all of the carbonated drinks as well. Would instantly go up a star if they solve this issue, but it's been like that for at least a year now.. Still enjoy eating here, it's just held back by the drinks..

Went almost 2 hours before close. As we pulled up the girl at the front ran to the door to see if we were coming in. She took our order and gave us almost a disappointed look when we said it was for here. When we were getting drinks, I saw her turn to the other girl and they were making a face towards each other like they didn’t want us to be there. Before we even got our food, they started putting the chairs up on the tables around us. When the food finally came out and we asked for ketchup, the same girl was once again hesitant and annoyed. Food was good but I wish every time we came here for dinner we weren’t rushed out and treated as an inconvenience and annoyance. If you say your open until 10, be happy to serve customers until 10.

I never leave reviews but the way everytime I'm up here Laci P always has some kind of attitude with me or whoever I'm with, I work in customer service and so does my friend I came in with and we were appaled with the service in here with the girl at the register. The other girl that brought the food scurried away so fast after handing me the food I could barely get her back over to our table to tell her she handed me the wrong meal (she handed my friends meal) and the girl up front gave me and my friend the wrong order number. She went to talk to Lacy P up front about my order and my friend and I heard her say "why does it matter??" Then came up to me with a attitude to tell me my meal was taking longer because it was crispy, wouldn't care she told me that if she wasn't so rude about it. Then she stormed off before I could get a word in and when she came back she threw my order in front of me before running off and kept looking at us the entire time we were there.

Trash was falling out of bin...some in bag on floor. Liquids spilled out on floor. All as you entered the door. Cashiers not friendly. One busy flirting with 2 guys at door. Finally removed trash, mopped at liquid on floor. Placed lids in rack for drinks, etc. NEVER WASHED HANDS. Our order was not correct. In general it just looked dirty. Worse I've seen there in a while.

Went through the drive thru about 8:30 pm on Friday ordered 2 hamburger combos with Onion rings usually the food is always good with good service but not this time our onion rings were burnt I could not chew them tasted like they were cooked in old grease the hamburger was okay but had a funny after taste when I went through drive thru the young lady that did my order was so very rude she kept her back to me while waiting on my food and then she threw my food at me and said have a nice night and slammed the window I was shocked I have never had bad service here before don't think I will go back spent 25 dollars on bad service and not very good food

I have been in Hunt County for 6 years and for the most part have enjoyed LuLu's even when they have made mistakes on my order. Unfortunately will not visit or order again! 2 chicken plates for $30 and my order was not correct and the service has become mediocre at best! BWW is soon to open and honestly there burgers are better! Hate to do this to a moms and pops, but peace and blessings!

We are locals and eat here fairly often. We got food tonight and wow have they gone downhill. Meat on the burger was half the size of the bun and I was give.....10 fries, total. My wife's was the same, but she got 12 fries... I guess we are done with these guys, it used to be an amazing place, but apparently they are just generic greedy company like the rest now.

1st time there and trying to support local businesses. Here's what we experienced: 2 young ladies leaning against the counter and staring at their phones, which they did throughout our entire visit. Tables and floor dirty and sticky, as were the condiments on the table. Lots of flies. Same two employees talking trash about the drive-thru customers. Too busy to acknowledge customers arriving or leaving. Food was ok, but Whataburger is a mile away and much better... When I managed restaurants, we had a saying: Time to lean, time to clean.

I was just hungry wanted to grab something to eat. I got the the sandwich like that. I felt so bad and would never came back.

Well, it is very sad to say, but my son ordered from Lulu's ,and as he was placing his order, the girl at the counter hung up in his face. When he arrived he told her that he hope that his oder was right she frowned and just nodded her head ,and when got to the car he checked his oder and it was the wrong oder. Got the burger back and started eating it and was pink. It's really sad that a good restaurant like that has really went down. The service was poor and the girls at the counter has smart mouths. 👎🏾👎🏾 4/5/2024. If you order a burger that is called a Guacamole burger and the description says comes with Guacamole cheder cheese and pico de gallo but comes with jalapeños and sliced avocado. Was super disappointed. The burger was good but not what the description said at all. The girls at the counter were very instant that sliced avocado was Guacamole and pico was just jalapeños.

I have never once gotten everything I ordered. Ask for onion rings get fries. Ask for mustard get mayo. And most of the time only half of the order comes to you.

I went right at opening this morning, 3/25/24. These nuggets came from the same batch. Call me crazy, but I’ve gotten nuggets from this places 2-3 times a week the last several months and the nuggets I got today I am utterly confident were refried McDonald’s nuggets. They are also very burnt. The cheese-sticks I got were not great, but not terrible. These nuggets are burnt beyond being edible. Very disappointed. The drinks also taste like dirty water. I do not think they clean their fountains.

My family used to love eat here, but unfortunately the last 2 times we have gone the food was very disappointing. The tator tots were so over cooked we couldn’t eat them, my sons chicken nuggets were so burned he threw them Away, and our burgers were burned as well. $40 worth of food we couldn’t eat. Normally we are not ones to complain, but so sad that it has changed this much after being long time customers.
