We ordered Chicken Curry, Wheat Chapati, Basmati Rice, Dahi Kachori Chaat, and Fresh Lime Soda — and every single item was just perfect. The flavors were authentic, the ingredients fresh, and the portions generous. A special shoutout to one of the best servers we’ve ever had — incredibly helpful with dish selection and attentive throughout our meal. Their hospitality truly elevated the dining experience. I went in around 4:30 pm Friday afternoon. Guy was very attentive, I already knew what I wanted when I walked in, so I ordered. (Chicken tika Masala) food was amazing!!! Only down side about this place is I could have had more. But NYC isn't a cheap place, so I get it.

Monir is a wonderful, friendly host. I come all the way over to this location even though there are other Indian restaurants in the upper east side that I live closer to, because of the delectable quality of the food, and much of it being to the friendliness and environment. Wonderful restaurant, many thanks to Monir for making it a great environment. Every item that I’ve ordered here has left me very fulfilled - as someone who’s explored Indian Cuisine in all places. The music playing is a line above other restaurants, using pre-2000s Indian classics, along with the dark wood and stone ambiance inside. Beautiful restaurant.

If you want to taste the authentic indian dish this place is a gem!! Worth it every penny. They gave us fresh food during our visit. The owner treats us like a family. Spice level are tolerable for a non spice person like me. Best indian restaurants I have ever experienced!!! Will visit again.

It is our second time here. We came from San Antonio Texas. First time got here just looking for an a Indian Cuisine place and loved it! This time we came with friends and they loved it too! Different Flavors, excellent service and overall great experience. More than %100 recommended.

My friend is vegetarian so we went for indian. I only ordered white rice and the server asked why. I said because I don't really like Indian, but if they had any recommendations for someone like me I'd give it a try. They recommended some appetizers that weren't spicy at all! They were really good, but had indian names I can't recall. Considering I hate indian food this was a tasty meal and good experience. If my review points add up to a couplon I might use it here.

I ask for chicken masala, unfortunately! brother minor give me tandoori chicken 🍗 I think this is ok with me but the taste was not fresh, soup was and naan bread was delicious

The service was good and the staff is friendly and warm. The ambience is good as well! But my disappointment was with the food. I ordered the bhel puri from the appetizer section and the quantity was way too little . Also ordered the chilli paneer which didn’t taste authentic.

I wanted to like this place after seeing it being rated a 4.4/5. Unfortunately, the only thing I enjoyed was the waiter. The food was just not good. The naan was too thin, did not taste super fresh, and lacked a good amount of garlic. The cauliflower wasn’t bad, but I wish it was more cauliflower and less breading. The lamb biryani was very flashy with its bread pot, but unfortunately the lamb was dry. Lastly, I ordered a dish I got at another Indian restaurant that I really enjoyed. To my utmost dismay, it was the worst dish of all lol. Shouldn’t have gotten it… and I really shouldn’t have went here at all.

By far the worst customer experience. I was charged twice for delivery and never received the promised refund. Customer service was unprofessional, unhelpful, and showed no concern for resolving the issue. I expect accountability and proper customer care, neither of which was provided. Actual scammers, do not get delivery from this place
