I've developed an attachment to this spot. The meals are exceptional without being expensive. And the staff consistently offers warm greetings. The meals satisfy hunger, the setting satisfies the eyes and the service satisfies expectations. You would appreciate this spot's quality.

So far, absolutely the best Chicken & Waffles on the planet!! Appies fantastic! Pork belly with pickled watermelon and kimchi - Whoooooa!! Drinks - equally awesome! And don't - I repeat DON'T skip dessert!!! Check the photo of the doughnut ice cream Sammie! You may have to wait though. In our recent visit at ~11:30PM we had a 20 min wait. at midnight, the wait went up to 1 hr +!! At 1:30AM, the place was packed with people waiting outside. The resi system is great - they use your cell and text you when your spot is up. The place is busy, alive with a great, friendly staff. This is definitely on our Go Again! list.

A great spot in the Bedford area. Wonderful food, really good cocktails, I’d recommend the Queen of New York which was delicious and had a great brunch kick to it! I went here twice within the same week when I stayed in NYC recently and to be honest I’d come back again and again. Atmosphere was super chilled, laid back with cool urban playlist. A really great taste of NYC for first time travelers craving something authentic.

Even if there is a line, it is totally worth it the wait! We probably waited for about 15 minutes! The food is excellent, and it comes pretty quickly as well! We had the BBQ chicken and sweet corn waffle, and the buffalo chicken with the milk jam waffle. Simply superb and the outreach lemonade was bangin' too!

I love this restaurant!!! The only place I come for chicken/waffles and Mac&cheese. I’ve only been to this location and Long Island City Queens..I def like the tasting of this one more! Ordered chicken and waffles. Chicken was so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, cooked to perfection. The waffles were really good. The assortment of flavoured butters really made it all taste so much better too. I also ordered a Bloody Mary which was delicious with maple bacon and a pickled chilli for the garnish. There was a line up to get inside the guy at the door took our name and number and called us when it was our turn to go in. Service was pretty fast.

Love this place. Love the atmosphere, the food and the music. I've been to the Sweet Chick in the city before but this was my first time being in the Brooklyn location and the experience was just as great. One of my favorite things about this place is although it's mostly a chicken & waffles spot, they also serve vegetation fried chicken which taste amazing. It's very very similar to actual fried chicken. The drinks also are amazing and well made and southern themed. Only knock on this place is it is kind of small but cozy and the wait, but I guess that's the cost of being popular.

The BBQ vegetarian “chicken” it was delicious. Perfectly crunchy on the outside. Just the right amount of BBQ sauce. I highly recommend ordering the potato salad as a side. They add these delicious crispy onions on top. Can’t wait to go back.

It was great! Upon arriving it was busy and there was a line and wait list. They have outdoor New York curbside dining it was full too. The wait wasn't long since it was just 2 of us. The bar drinks were great and they give you water. Known for the chicken and waffle selection...multiple flavor waffle and multiple flavor chicken and multiple types of chicken to choose from. You can get tenders or whole pieces of chicken. I ordered the white meat garlic parm chicken with a classic waffle. The butter was seasoned too...it's was like a lemon strawberry butter and a regular butter too. The chicken was battered and very crisp. Every bite of everything was scrumptious. I recommend this place...if you can't sit in..order ahead pickup and run to eat it! This was very, very, very, good food!

As US citizen living in Vienna: DOPE! LOVED the trappy music. Great atmosphere, service and location. The food... Omg. From the pickle to the chicken... So nice. Can recommend the spicy chicken. Service was GOOD and the food was DELICIOUS, with no wait time we got in and seated. My daughter turned 18 today and wanted to go there to eat, she's been there before and wanted my husband and myself to taste the food. It was well worth it. I had the Apple Cinnamon Waffles with the two piece chicken, my daughter and husband had the Spicy Chicken with Bacon Cheddar Waffles and the Shrimp and Grits

The chicken and waffles are a must! Please try them. The chicken is sweet, juicy and savory and the waffles are big, soft and fluffy! We sat at the bar and had a couple drinks. The queen of New York is really good but the velvet sour was the best!!!!! We had drinks as we waited for our food, it took a while for the food to come out but it was worth the wait!!!!

Came to this Sweet Chick a few years ago after a Barclay's event and was very disappointed. I was reluctant to return this past Sunday ,but my wife wanted to go . Arrived about 1:40pm and was immediately greeted by the manager Matt . The wait was approximately 25 minutes. I asked Matt would we still be able to get seated in time for the brunch which ends at 2pm . He offered us some ice water while we waited to be seated. Not only did his staff turn the tables around quick ,but got us accommodated by 1:55pm . The waitress was super pleasant and took our brunch order by 1:57 . Food came out in a very timely manner . Hot and fresh , everything was delicious. I was extremely pleased with all aspects of this visit . I had to let Matt know that his crew was 100% on point . Will definitely return soon !

Sweet Chick is excellent for breakfast brunch, lunch or dinner. Sweet Chick serves delicious, fresh perfect waffles and chicken. Sweet Chick is has innovative payment options where you can order your meal selections on your smart phone and pay while dining in.

This was a unexpected stop. We just happen to look across the street and bam 'sweet chick' was there. Recommend the chicken and waffles, but with the honey soy garlic flavor.

The fried chicken and waffle was absolutely amazing, the chicken was tender, the waffles were light and the Suday Candy drink was on point. The place was crowded we had a 30 minute wait but it was worth it. I will go back again for sure.

Chicken is amazing crispy, juicy and seasoned well! The loaded fries were amazing , and the Mac and cheese were big shells super cheesy and tasted well. It’s covid friendly, you order off your phone and pay prior to food coming out which is cool. Music vibe was dope has a great selection and the cocktails were alright.

Sweet Chick Resturant is my favorite brunch spot whenever I'm in Brooklyn. A little patience is needed due to the wait. Once you are comfortablely seated, you instantly take in the upbeat vibe of the rhythmatic music and the neighboring happy partons. After reviewing the menu you place your order online. Your waiter/waitress brings out your meal and happily answer any questions you may have. The presentation reminds you of the delicious cuisine of the south. Each bite tantalizes your tastebuds. The crispy yet juicy fried chicken is skillfully seasoned. The salad is fresh and tasty. You leave full and happy ready to take on the day/night. A taste of the south in Brooklyn!

Went here on 2/15 after a horrendous experience at the LIC location . We walked out after terrible service and decided to give Sweet Chick a second chance. It was super busy but the level of service was stellar. I told Jose about our experience at LIC and he was super apologetic. Bree was the only other person servicing tables and she was super accommodating. My little one wanted whip cream on her waffles but they didn’t have any. She offered vanilla glaze or frosting , she gave options . Not only did she give options but she was sweet and put heart sprinkles in the cup of frosting . We will NEVER go back to the LIC location again and it is our local location ! I much rather travel to another borough to see Jose and Bree in the Williamsburg location where the vibes, energy. and service are stellar! Thank you Jose and Bree for turning the experience around for us!

Hands down this is among THE BEST fried chicken in NYC! From the Hip Hop themed drinks and ambiance to the variety of waffle pairings...the Sweet Chick menu offering is amazing! Plus the wait service is always great. So glad my friend recommended this restaurant. They have weekday brunch people!

Delicious & affordable food plus lovely staff!! Went here for Sunday lunch and there was no wait. Got the hot honey biscuit and it was super fulling. The hash browns had a nice honey mustard sauce to complement them.

tables are 6 feet from one another. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available, they do contactless ordering. They will take your temperature and your information if you chose to dine inside. Each table have a QR code that allows you to place your order with your phone. we ordered the loaded fries, regular chicken & waffles, and Nashville chicken tenders & waffles. They have different types of chicken and their waffles is partnered up with flavored butter which is amazing! It really liven up the waffles. The loaded fries were good. We also ordered some alcoholic drinks which was worth it (in terms of alcohol level) 😉.

They have food combos that leaves you a little puzzled, but nevertheless glad that you ordered them. Their menu do not disappoint. The spices could be a little stronger in my opinion, but their chicken is juicy, tender, and hearty by any standard. The food is also shockingly aesthetically pleasing!?!? I wasn’t expecting that walking in. My only reservation with this place is that they do not have Bloody Mary. And that their bathrooms are perhaps a little too dim. However, the food more than makes up for it.

Really good chicken and waffles in Williamsburg. The service is whatever, but you order and pay via a QR code so I guess there's not much need for service other than bringing the food out. We actually just split a chicken and waffles, and a shimp grits. A piece of chicken and half a waffle was plenty.

A early dinner with the family. Baby friendly including plenty of space for our stroller. Highlights were definitely grits and soy honey garlic wings. Waffles weren't memorable but the overall order was great. Love to see the brand is still strong.

I first came to Sweet Chick in 2016 and am so happy to report that the food is still as good as it was then. They have expanded the menu since then but quality remains the same. They make the menu very vegetarian accessible (they even have vegetarian fried chicken!). Food came out quickly and waitstaff were nice. Great prices for NYC too. Highly recommend.

Some of the absolute best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had, especially the waffles! They’re so fluffy and delicious. The chicken was crisp and with the sauce I got, the soy honey garlic it was soo flavorful. The servers were so nice and accommodating, very patient too. The atmosphere is nice and chill. I’ll definitely be coming back, it’s a great spot for all meal times.

W service, I'm a shy person and they have absolutely stellar service. I got fried chicken and fries for 14 bucks. The people I was with got side waffles for 8, and the other got a bucket of chicken with biscuits and coslaw. I'm not a fan of the flavor I picked but that's just me being picky. Good to visit at night especially. Good atmosphere with the lights off and the little lamps. Unlimited water, and there's mason jar cups you drink from straws. You could order drinks too but I was too lazy to.

Ok so it was a little wait but it was worth it. I had the Texas chicken and original waffle and my daughter had the reg. Chicken with apple cinnamon waffle. They both were very good. The waffle wasn't over cooked it was perfect. They gave different types of butter but it all tasted the same. They have a hot sauce that they serve with your food but if you don't like hot hot sauce then don't use it. Over all the food was good the chicken was cooked just right still moist and the right amount of crunch. Oh almost forgot the drinksssss, yeah can't forget that. I really enjoyed brunch here - the chicken and waffles is an excellent combination. The only thing holding me back from 5 stars is that I've had a slightly better variant in New York (Jacob's Pickles, Upper West Side). This is still a quality joint though and worth visiting if you've yet to experience the delights of fried chicken with batter and maple syrup.

I had a great time, but a few things were different. The lemonade was carbonated which shocked me because I wanted lemonade, the juice kind. We ordered fries, they came out cold, cheese on the loaded fries wasn’t melted down. Waffles and chicken was good, server was friendly and helpful ♥️

This location has really good chicken ans waffle!The chicken was tender and crispy as I would like them to be. The waiter recommended the soy honey garlic chicken so I tried it but it was a bit too sweet for me especially having the second piece. I wish that we can mix & match two different flavors. Next time, I will try maple chipotle and/or buffalo flavors. Another thing to note is that the music was too loud. I came with my friends and we all found it hard to have a normal conversation without shouting.

The food is absolutely delicious. It's a unique twist on chicken and waffles with a plethora of kinds of waffles to choose from. There's also 3 different butters that's served with it to appease your sweet or savory taste. There also other option to chose from like their shrimp grits which is made perfectly. The only down side is that it is VERY small place so you're cramped next to people.

I came here on a rainy Sunday afternoon hoping to visit the street fair, but it was too rainy. So we ducked in here for food. I got the fried chicken, which was sticky with great flavor. I also split the very cheesy mac & cheese. They give a lot of food.

One of my girlfriends and I decided to get brunch and took a ride to this restaurant. They don't do reservations so it is first come first serve. When we arrived I found parking nearby. We walked in and the spot is kind of small and the tables were full. The server told us there is ablut a 15 minute wait. We waited about 10 minutes and was seated. At this restaurant they are truly contactless so we had to order and pay for our food and drinks online and they would bring everything to us. I ordered the vodka sweet tea and the 3 piece and a biscuit. It came to about $30. When everything came out the food looked great. The sweet tea was good and the chicken and biscuit was very good and filling. I got a side of potato salad and I wasn't a fan. My friend enjoyed her honey bbq chicken and waffles. We had a good experience and would return.

Awesome chicken and waffles! The classic choice is 2 pieces of chicken, waffles and you can choose the flavor of the waffles. The chicken is well seasoned and fried to perfection. The waffle is a little soft and cold for me but it’s not bad at all. The vibe is retro and friendly. The wait during dinner time can be a little while. There’s a full bar. Prices are on the medium-higher end for this dish but it’s nothing to be complain about.

Chicken and waffles! Got the maple chipotle, chicken. It’s a big serving, you WILL be satiated. Chicken tenders were just a tad bit salty, but overall maple chipotle flavor was very good! You can get the chicken on the bone, I’m sure it’s better. It’s still one of the best chicken and waffle spots and I’ll be coming back. They changed up the recipe, they used to have the BEST chicken and waffles before the pandemic with different butter options, variations of sweet and savory waffles, and juicy chicken. Then was it okay around 2022, now I’d say they stepped it up since the pandemic. Waffles are good as usual!!

The food was delicious! Got the vegetarian salted caramel chicken and waffles. The seitan was delicious and the sweet salted caramel sauce was good. The music in the restaurant was so loud I could barely hear my friends and left with a sore throat from shouting. We weren't checked in on much so had to get up to get more water. Other then that they have great food in a clean space but it might be loud.

It was my first time and I just missed the rush, so they were sold out of the honey garlic chicken. My hot tea was warm, but beyond that, the food and service was excellent, and I will definitely go back!!

This place is all about the food options, obviously the chicken and waffles gets prime mention but I really enjoyed the shrimp and grits! Grits were creamy and a perfect compliment to the shrimps in tomato-pepper sauce. There's more I'd like to try at this place. Portions are small but satisfying so you should come empty and opt for 2 dishes imo

I wished you provided more care for alfresco diners. If you were to have seats there, shouldn't you try to have them receive full service as well? Like plated food, condiments, serviettes, water jug / cups. It's unfortunate that alfresco was treated as takeouts just because there weren't staff assigned to do rounds outside / any trust for patrons who dined outside - fearing they might run away with the plates etc(?) Food has flavour but waffles were cold and hard - the syrup can't even get soaked in it. And the chicken tenders were baby sized. And because of the issue above ^ food being in takeout style was so sloppy to eat and you just cant enjoy chicken and waffle like how it is on a regular plate. (Ps. we did say we wanna dine in despite seated outside)

I live around here so every time I am in the mood for some chicken and waffles I come here. The food is always delicious and so is the service. Definitely recommend it to our locals and whoever is visiting the neighborhood.

The hostess/manager did not provide a welcoming experience. Despite our small group, our seating request was declined, while a subsequent party's similar request was accommodated. Although we were seated promptly, there was a significant delay in taking our order, which only occurred after two separate inquiries. Concurrently, another group that arrived after us had their order taken immediately upon entry. While the food was delivered quickly, our specific requests, such as additional napkins and side sauces, were overlooked. The quality of the food and the aesthetics of the establishment were satisfactory; however, the overall experience left me feeling unwelcome and profiled, which was particularly disappointing given the staff's demographic similarity to my own. I had hoped for a more positive experience for my birthday lunch, but I am grateful for the company I shared it with.

If you in a mood of fried chicken with waffles, Sweet Chick is a good spot to eat this kind of food. The vibes of restaurant is trendy and easy. During busy hours on the weekend the service might not that great but still acceptable. I order Chicken n' Waffles which is good and yummy. Grit and Shrimp, I'm not crazy about the sauce. I went to southern restaurant before and they have the way to cook and prepare this dish better. Overall I like the place, it is good for an easy day.

Went here on a recommendation from a co-worker. Was not really impressed. I ordered to go obviously with the photos, but I prefer good, not slightly dry, seasoned chicken as well as the breading. Server was super sweet who took our order, but with the food I'm disappointed. Specially with the size of the meal being $21. Would probably only go back if someone I knew wanted to go here, not by choice. Sad, because I was so excited.

Second time visiting. First time was pretty good. I arrived at 10 a.m., which is the listed opening time. I waiting in the rain for about 15 minutes while the gentlemen inside set up tables. We ended up going somewhere else.

The chicken & waffles was good, the waffles were nice and fluffy and the chicken had a good crunch. The chicken sandwhich was okay, I’ve had better chicken sandwiches before. The drinks were interesting, the purple drink was good, but I wanted more alcohol in them (maybe im becoming an alchy( and the red was too sugary. The vibe was good, good music and lowkey intimate setting great for some quick food with friends or a partner. If you’re looking to get some quick consistent chicken and waffles come here, other than that I hate to say it, but I expected more from this brand, but I would come again for the chicken and waffles and the vibes.

Meh. If you REALLY want to go, stick with the chicken and waffles to stay safe. I tried two different dishes and neither were tasty or seasoned well. Everything had too much salt, including the chicken so be prepared for that. Overall, the server was great just very busy. There were a few bumps in the service. all in all the atmosphere itself was what you’d come to expect in Williamsburg fun a little loud but great music.

The food was good my sister and I had the chicken and waffle and my bf had the steak and eggs. Our server was nice but wasn't as attentive as he should of been. We had to remind him numerous times for items he would come back and forth and still not have what we requested. My sister asked for ranch sauce and our server said they don't have we ask another employee and they had it. This was my first time going here and I was not impressed what's so ever I could of got the same food with better service somewhere else. I am not sure if I would return. Am FYI the wait time is long depending on party sizes.

The food has great flavor but the take out experience is hit or miss. If you order white meat chicken you will most likely get mostly dark meat. I don’t think the late night crew knows what white meat is! Disappointing because the waffles and Mac and cheese are so good. I’ve never had issues when I am at the restaurant or picking up earlier in the day.

First time trying Sweet Trick, and overall it wasn’t too bad. My fiancé had the shrimp and grits, and I had the fried chicken and waffle with vanilla topping (which tasted like condensed milk). The food was okay. The main issue was the wait—there was only one server, and as the place got busy, it took a while to be attended to. Sweet Trick, please consider hiring more staff so everyone feels looked after without long wait times. On the positive side, the extra touch of customer service—our server coming out to take our picture—was really nice and much appreciated.

I’ve been to ever Sweet Chick location in the city and this has to be the worst. To start off the customer service was bad. I’m not one to complain but I was with 2 friends and they personally felt like the customer service was off and I see why. It was little interactions here and there where they felt ruined their experience. Also, there wasn’t any self checkout in this Sweet Chick. I like how other Sweet Chicks have self checkout for dine in because it cuts that interaction and speeds up the process. The environment throws off the vibe. Every Sweet Chick had its own vibe and it just felt like I was in a dark area. There was no welcoming energy in this restaurant. To end this off, the food was good. I love how Sweet Chick is consistent in taste across all their restaurants. The chicken and waffles always hits the spot.

I ordered via grubhub and my food package had fingerprints and hair in the sticker they used to keep it closed (see pic). The food, while the portions are good; is bland. The issue we have here is that you have white chefs trying to cook southern food. So when the food is being prepared; they will cater for their community. Williamsburg is a white area with a few token blacks. Let’s be real here. I was going to give it a 3 but I took 1 star off for the hair on sticker thing. I ordered: chicken & waffles & shrimp grits. I’ve never had grits before , but it tasted like ricotta cheese. Looked like it too. I wouldn’t order again. I’m going to visit the one in the Flatbush area.

Less than underwhelmed... Wife and I decided to eat outside on their benches (so the order was put in as "takeout") on a beautiful day. I ordered the Vegetarian Chicken and Waffles, she order the Chicken and Waffles and Hush Puppies...and two lemonades and over $60 later...you get lackluster food. The Vegetarian Chicken was literally just a huge chunk of breaded Seitan. The waffles were bland as hell. My wife said the butter used to have more flavor. All in combination with 12 ounces of regular ole store bought lemonade that cost $6 just left WAY more to be desired. Having previously visited and enjoying the food...I hope they wake up and get back to their roots.

This was my first time going and it did not live up to the hype. The chicken tastes like it was fried in old oil. The macaroni and cheese was not seasoned; it barely had a cheese flavor. The mashed potatoes and biscuit were the best things on my plate.

pretty disappointing food to be in nyc. the chicken sandwich had a very small dry patty. ive gotten ones double the size from kfc and popeyes for 1/3 of the price. dry bun but good sauce. the 2 stars are for the hushpuppies which were absolutely bomb.

do not order coffee here. bitter as hell. asked for a fresh pot, was told my coffee was freshly brewed. it was not. undrinkable. good luck!

The vibe is definitely A1. The music choices are great and the set up is awesome, however the food isn’t the best in my opinion. I’ve definitely had way better chicken and waffles. My loaded fries looked as if someone forgot to pick up there order so instead of throwing it away they waited till someone ordered the same thing an give them that one in return. Apart from that the hash browns were pretty good.

I usually love Sweet Chick but actually this was insane to receive. I ordered a chicken sandwich that was 90% bread and 10% chicken. I am so incredibly disappointed.

It had the texture of a brick. It felt it like was sitting in the back for a whole day. Definitely not fresh. Not buttery. Not soft. And Definitely not good. The cranberry sauce did not help. The 3 pieces of bone in chicken was dry and the batter was too thick. These had a rubbery texture like it was sitting there a whole day and was re-fried. The thick batter totally concealed the chicken skin if there was any. The macaroni and cheese was AMAZING. This was absolutely fantastic. Cheesy and creamy. The right amount of thick. Nice touch with the breadcrumbs but not over baked. This was definitely the best out of the three items. The lady who took care of the take outs was nice.

Went to this location to have lunch. Really didn't enjoy my meal. We had the chicken and waffles. The chicken wasn't really that good. They gave me two big pieces of chicken which were a thigh and breast. It seems like you don't get to choose your cut of meat and the ordering process feels more like takeout. We also ordered drinks which weren't that great. I did enjoy the frozen mix cocktails over the regular mix cocktails. As for service I had asked for the table to be cleaned twice.

Used to come to this location pretty often but it’s been awhile since we’ve been back. Last time I was here the tables outside were first come if they weren’t too busy and there was a QR code to order off your phone with the table number, then they’d bring your food to you when it’s ready. If you sit inside, it was full service, but if you were outside you could still go in and ask for anything you need Today, that’s all changed. You have to see the host to sit at the tables, otherwise they have no idea you’re there, no QR code. The host, Brianna, was dismissive. She handed menus for us to take outside then we had to come back when we were ready to order. We had to pay when we placed the order and she gave herself a 20% tip. We were told to come back in 15 min. When we did, the food was packed to go without utensils or napkins, which I didn’t realize until I was outside. She didn’t welcome me in or say anything, only a look that seemed to question why I was there in the first place. The guy working at the bar addressed me sooner and nicer than she did. When I went back to ask for utensils, she questioned me whether there were any in the bag. She gave us two plastic forks, two plastic knives, and one single napkin from the kitchen - not the napkins like on the tables for customers inside. My order, the sesame ginger salad, was also wrong with grilled chicken instead of their signature fried chicken

Worse “gourmet” chicken spot you can visit. We ordered for take out. The chicken looked and tasted like it was re-fried several times. It was so dry that I felt like I was eating chicken jerky. 10/10 would not recommend.

I dont like to do bad reviews but I have to. Second visit to Sweet chick, first was late morning this was evening. Extremely dark to the point you have to use your phone to see the menu. We told our waiter no onions whatsoever and the grits came out with onions. French fries with ranch were phenomenal, chicken tenders were nicely seasoned. Temperature of all food was luke warm, waffles ok. Mac n cheese I think has cinnamon in it didn't taste like cheese. Iced tea wasn't freshly prepared and was not drinkable. I didn't review first time because everybody has bad days but cmon guys u have to do better. Waiter brought out our food and I never saw him again, it might have been 1 other table with customers. I see why it was empty.
