I absolutely love this place. I had the opportunity to eat here recently and everything I ordered was delicious! Such as: Devil's Margarita, Fire Coral Shrimp, Garlic Spice Shrimp, Escovitch Snapper, Shrimp Bobo with Mashed Potatoes, Barbados Shrimp, and Curry Shrimp with Rice. The ambience is also really nice being by the water. You can watch boats and the train go by. Definitely will be back next time I'm in the area.

Una gratísima sorpresa en nuestra visita a Fort Lauderdale, buscábamos un lugar especial para cenar, que estuviera cerca de nuestro hotel, decidimos caminar a “Pirate Republic” llegamos sin reservación, de lo mas amable la persona en que nos recibió inmediatamente nos encaminó a nuestra mesa (en el muelle) con una vista muy padre ! Nuestro mesero un mexicano muy amable, nos hizo algunas recomendaciones (todo riquísimo) ordenamos todo al centro para probar lo más posible y fue lo mejor que pudimos hacer. Los tragos buenos, pero la comida muy buena. Les comparto fotos de la vista y los platillos que ordenamos. El lugar estaba casi lleno, por lo que recomiendo no arriesgarse y mejor reservar. Excelente restaurante al lado del rio donde constantemente pasan los yates, el servicio muy bueno y un exquisito sabor en la comida. Los precios de los platos principales casi todos excedían los $30 hasta más de $200 por un plato que se llama Ocean Four que pueden comer hasta cuatro personas de acuerdo a lo que nos dijo el mesero. Recomendado para los que deseen disfrutar de una buena comida de marisco sin lugar a dudas.

The parking is a little Shakey to find but was available when I was there. View is beautiful and is on a busy channel so a lot of boats in and out giving it a nice vibe in my opinion. Drinks were cool , the food was ok. Since I'm east Asian my taste buds require spices for taste lol the food was decent in my opinion and was presented beautifully. Would take another date there for sure.

Great place to people watch and boat watch. Service okay but servers not to friendly. Restaurant needs more fish dishes. Great location parking a little tough. Some free but majority was metered?? Water taxi nearby screwed that up.

Had great experience here. Good views and good food!

This was an interesting restaurant... Great location and fun deck with tables all around. It does make me wonder how it works when it rains! Everything about this place feels classic and antiquated, and not in the vintage/aged kinda vibe...More in like the menu is limited and feels old. Even though the restaurant isn't that old! The drinks were good! Food: I had the Pirate's Bowl, it was okay. A little rubbery and like a water down broth. There were a lot of broth/soupy type of options. Definitely an acquired taste. The grilled fish was much better, but felt overpriced for what you get. You're paying to sit out by the river... I think it's a fun place to come once, come during the day so you can see the river and check the menu to make sure they have something you'd like.

We love this place and have been coming here for many years. On Valentine’s Day, our group of 2 couples booked a table. Food was delicious. But service was quite poor, and an apparently new server demonstrated a total lack of preparation or training. We asked for Yucca fries and were served regular fries. When we pointed out the error, they were replaced. But the bill reflected both orders. The second mishap was that my wife ordered a gin and tonic but asked that the gin and tonic be brought in separate glasses, so she could mix her drink to her taste. The server brought 2 ounces of tonic water. When requested to bring some more, we were told that we would have to purchase a can of tonic water! We did, but in what world does a bar do this? We left quite disappointed by this attitude. But the worst thing of all is that I sent the owners a direct message about this, rather than posting a public review. Given our fondness of this restaurant, I wanted to give them an opportunity to fix this, retrain their staff and stuff. Despite a reminder, I never heard back. SO NOW I KNOW HOW MUCH THEY VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS, AND FEEDBACK.

I ordered the snapper which was dry and overcooked. Whatever you do, Do Not order it!!! The shrimp was okay and the shrimp appetizer was doused in garlic. If you are a garlic lover you will love it. If not you won’t. The Martinis could use work as the drink was left in the ice or the Bombay sapphire was watered down. Also asked for ice for my soda never came. Asked for dessert, never came back to take the order. Remember ef when we asked for the check.

Went here for dinner. My husband is the Love other place so I brought him here for his birthday. Always orders the snapper this time. It came out bright hard as a rock. I guess maybe we have jumbo shrimp and lobster which bland and rubbery. I didn’t speak to White staff and the manager on duty. They only offered to speak to the current chef. We won’t be back. My advice there’s so many other beautiful restaurants in the area make your choices wisely.

I came here several years ago and the food was great. Now this time around everything has changed. The service was below average the quality of the food has gone down tremendously. My wife ordered a salad with chicken, I could have gone to Publix and naught the same dry salad she was served and the chicken was served on the side. Now, the chicken was dry and over cooked. In addition, the menu says the salad comes with feta cheese, I don’t know if they ran out or what, but they put chopped mozzarella. My wife then asked for ranch for the dry salad, well there was none and then the serve brings packaged blue cheese. Again, for that reason I could have done all of this at home and saved me self the money. We also ordered a side of fries, we had to ask for ketchup , so the server brought little packed ketch ups on a plate as if I were at a fast food restaurant. I had the fried fish which was ehh alright, definitely not worth $48 dollars. The fish came with some salad that was spicy enough to probably damage my intestines. It would have been nice to know it was EXTREMELY spicy. Also, to get a hold of the waiter is another mission in it self. I have to ask other waiters to call him just to get him to come to us. To pay $117 dollars for bad service and terrible food definitely never coming back here again. The only good thing here is the view.
