If you are in the area, you need to stop by! Family party of 11. Service was prompt. Waiter was attentive always topping us off as soon as our glass were half empty. The taste was very good. The beef and chicken moist and tender. The rice and charro beans also flavorful. Every member of the family was satisfied with the taste. I recommend the strawberry flavored lemonade.

We always stop here on our way back home to Texas. We always get great food, service and everyone is friendly. I ordered 2 tacos and the plate came out covered with all of the lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. I said wow and the waitress said I had to ask if it was a salaquest. When I got down to the taco I found it completely filled with meat! Salsa is good as well as the queso.

The chips and salsa were provided soon after seating. Gabriela, our waitress, was quick, friendly and brought extra drinks and napkins before we even asked for them. Our food was delivered promptly and was warm and flavorful. Gabriela checked with us several times to see if we were satisfied or needed anything. The check was brought just as we were finishing as well as to go boxes. Gabriela you are exceptional! I know we will be making this one of our regular stops during our travels. We will remember Gabriela and ask for her our next visit.

The food was hot, the service was great and the atmosphere was good. I got the lunch chalupa and it was tasty. My family in the area have been going there for years and they have always enjoyed it. They pointed out the small figure of Superman painted on the ceiling, (the kids thought that was neat). Everything was clean and the staff was prompt and helpful.

This is our go-to Tex-Mex restaurant in Texarkana. The food is delicious and the amounts are generous, even the lunch specials. We have always found the service outstanding, even the time we brought about two dozen college students with us. I had the Cancun Combo with two enchiladas, a flauta plus beans and rice. They refilled our chips and my drink never got low. We love the Texarkana TaMolly’s!

You know how sometimes you go to a Mexican restaurant, and you're like, "Is this salsa or just spicy ketchup?" Not here! The salsa had me questioning my life choices—in a good way. I ordered the Tijuana Plate, and it was like a party on a plate. Enchiladas, tacos, and tamales all hanging out together, like, "Hey, let's make this guy's day awesome!" And they did. Everything was served hot and tasted very fresh. The service? Top-notch. The staff was so friendly, I half-expected them to invite me to their family reunion. And the restaurant was clean—like, "Did Mr. Clean just moonwalk through here?" clean. In conclusion, if you're craving some Tex-Mex that will make your taste buds do the cha-cha, head over to TaMolly's. Five stars all the way!

I've been a huge fan for over 25 years. When I was pregnant with my oldest, I CRAVED their salsa. I would drive an hour to have it, sit in the restaurant crying from the heartburn but still eating it, then take a gallon home. Their menu hasn't changed much and honestly neither have their prices. The enchiladas are amazing. The grilled pollo salad. Bob's dip. The child's grilled cheese is practically a gourmet experience, with a cheese pull worthy of TikTok. I hadn't been in years since we've moved away, and stopped last week while in town. Still 10/10, still great food, service, and prices, and I still took home a gallon of salsa. TaMolly's, y'all need a location in NWAR!!!

Tonight I dropped into TaMolly's on the way to my friend who is in hospice care. He told me that he wanted to have one more time chips and salsa from there. The amazing manager who listened to my request if I could buy a handful of chips and a little salsa said of course , went to fetch it and then when I wanted to pay said " It's on the house ". It meant so much to me and we hugged right there in the restaurant. Just dropped of the chips and salsa and my friend had a BIG smile on his face . Just another generic text mex place. It was good but nothing made it special.

You will never get bad food here. Your biggest worry is over eating from the abundant plates of food. Until tonight I have never received bad service at TaMolly's. Our waitress, I think Lettia, act as if we were infringing on her. When my wife pointed out a decrepancy with her food, she never did a word, just walked away. At tip time she did warm up a bit, and once even showed a slight smile. Except for my wife, I would have skipped the tip completely. But as I have stated, for TaMolly's this is the exception, not the norm.

Husband has had his order wrong the last two visits but this last time he ordered beef fajitas and the meat was grissle. It was a miserable meal. My food was excellent hence 4 stars versus 3. Had the same server each time we had mistakes on our order. Guess he doesn't check his food before taking to the table.

I've eaten here twice so far. They have some good deals on food some days of the week and the food is good as is the service.

When we were first seated we were not sure our experience was going to be good because they seated us and then we were not given any attention. I watched a waiter walk past us more than once, twice I waved at him and he never came to the table. Then it became apparent why we were waiting. Our waitress, Maria, had two other tables, one of which was a party of seven. Maria was a great waitress! Despite being very busy she didn't stop smiling and she was very attentive to each of her tables! It was a shame that the waiter who wasn't busy didn't help Maria simply by getting us chips and drinks but we had a great experience with Maria and our meals were very good.

Is a nice clean restaurant. Their hot sauce is no good. Their chips could use some improvement, but overall the food is pretty good.

This restaurant is conveniently located near the Courtyard Marriott. It was a 3-4 minute walk. I had the customary chips and red sauce salsa. It was tasty and went with my frozen Margarita. There was sugar instead of salt on the rim. For my entree I had the combo fajita platter. The chicken was well seasoned and the fajitas were tender. Overall it was a delightful experience after an hour drive from Nashville.

I recommend the white queso when ordering a bowl of cheese. It was thicker yet had a great flavor. My chicken fajitas were very tasty but I requested my onions well done & they weren't. If you like your onions carmelized you may have to ask them twice. Rice & beans were yummy. If you can't decide on what Queso you like.. They have an appetizer called the Trio... I suggest that. First visit here. The employees were nice and very responsive during my entire visit. Chips and salsa was very good. Chips very light and perfectly crunchy and salsa was tasty. I ordered the chili relleno with chicken and the only problem I had with it is that there was practically no pepper at all. The relleno was so small that it was non existent. Good food; friendly, fair prices. Only complaint is the queso. Runny and not real flavorful.

It was alright, the dessert was delicious. The dead ants and old food stuck to the silverware and plates wasn’t as delicious… But hey every restaurant has their quirks. This TaMolly’s has been around for a long time and they haven’t changed much at all. They have always been and continued to remain subpar, but good in a pinch or for a craving. We stoped on our recent family road trip. The food was not something I would go back for. The restaurant has a nice building and prices were okay.

Our waiter didn't come for at least 10 minutes after being seated, my mom had to wait for a part of her order thar was missing, we waited a long time after finishing eating to get our check and then for him to come back and get it so we could leave. I will say, the waiter was double sat with two parties of 5 or more at the same time, and he was doing the best he could, so we were not upset at him, it was just multiple times of having to wait. The food is ok. The women's bathroom was disgusting and another woman in there discussed how I bet I was glad I wore my "water shoes" because of how disgusting and wet the floors were. If someone wore nice shoes, it would be hard to want to wait lk in there. It was covered in water. The rest of the restaurant seemed well kept.

Not a fan. Chips did not taste fresh. Did not care for the chili sauce on my beef tamale. Restroom was clean as well as entrance and seating area. Server was extremely nice and very efficient. I may try it again in about 5 years or so.

Salsa tasted like canned tomatoes and ketchup. And there are no other alternatives. Food was edible. But calling it authentic would be a stretch. Let's just say if I lived there I would not be a regular.

Most importantly, we were really regretting our choice of restaurant after we ordered. Praying and hoping our beers would prevent any food poisoning. The place was disgusting. It looked like the floors had not been cleaned in months, if not years. Basically, everything around us looked gross upon closer inspection. I must change my review of one of my favorite restaurants. Whatever you do don't try to order to go. They're rude little girls at the counter. They're more worried about telling you to be there by 8 than taking your order. They do not write your name down right . Then they leave you waiting for 20 minutes while your food is sitting right there getting cold . Because they didn't write it down right Now The manager won't even come out of the kitchen even when you have a problem. He will hang up on you if you call and complain. 20 year regular customer and I'm done. I won't go back . You have successfully made me go to your competition.

My experience with this location is no different than most other restaurants that I deal with. I will definitely not be going back to this spot after I was overcharged on every single item that I ordered. I’ve eaten Mexican food all of my life and by far this was the worst food I’ve ever had. Zero flavor, chips were like baseball field nachos, the cheese was like a watery powder mix, but seriously it was horrible. I can’t ever remember writing a bad review for food but this one deserved it. Don’t waste your time or money, we would have been better off going to Taco Bell. Uggggg

Our family will never go to Tamolly's again. We ordered food today and went to the pickup window. We were told the price, but it was almost double when we went to pick up the four meals. I asked the employees to talk to the person who took the order - we talked to two people. All they cared about was that we paid the incorrect price or moved forward. The final person we talked to was not nice and appeared to be the manager. He wanted us to pay or move forward. He would not even ask the people who took the order about the error. It was a maddening experience. I am giving three stars to the food, but I think it is more of a two and a half star. It has been good sometimes, but is often not so great. After this experience, I will no longer gamble with the food at Tamolly's Mexican Kitchen on St. Michael's Drive in Texarkana, Texas.

My friends and I ate here in a Saturday afternoon around 3pm. Our waitress took along time to take our order. We got our food and we started to eat. Our waitress disappeared on us. No refills on drinks chips and salsa. Food was mediocre at best. And was very greasy. The mens restroom had urine in the stall on the floor. The worst part of our visit happened when we got our ticket. We waited for our waitress to come. She never showed up. We proceeded to the front counter and the cashier was very rude. She told me that I had to pay at my table. I informed her that my waitress disappeared on us. The cashier had the rudest demeanor about her. We finally got our ticket pau and will not be back!!!!

Worst service ever! They don’t care about the customers. I arrived at the restaurant and the guy in charge of receiving and sitting the customers didn’t bother to look at me. He was looking down to a paper. I started reading the menu and asked him for a table for two. Then he said some inappropriate comments, and took us to an empty part of the restaurant. We waited and waited and no one came to our table, not even to bring chips. After a while we left and the waiters didn’t even realize we were there. No wonder at dinner time this place was almost empty when other restaurants in the area were packed! I don’t recommend this place!!!!!

On my birthday Monday the 26th, we came to Ta Mollys, I always have brisket faitas and never disappointed. Today my friends went there to get the same order, but the brisket was dry the flour tortilla were hard....but service was excellent. What happened?

Sadly I’m not able to review anything other than my initial experience..nice greeters..walked in had a seat..no one came to offer anything..we sat..watched folks complete their parties and instantly greeted yet nothing and no one acknowledged us..we politely got up and let the greeters at the front know..but we know what it looked like..gonna pray that wasn’t the situation..didn’t look good..and didn’t ask for a manager as i believe we saw him greet the table next to us and bypass us! I’m not begging any establishment to spend my hard earned money! Sad as I used to love this chain..but this one..I cannot patronize..we just left and took our money elsewhere

I'm sorry . I really debated on not doing a review because I know it's hard to run a restaurant but this was bad. First they switched waiters on us after ours seemed to have forgotten about us. But that wasn't really a concern because we weren't in a hurry. It was also quite and ordeal to get the bill straightened out when they overcharged us. But neither of those reasons are the big reason for the 1-star. The problem was the food. We ordered nachos as a safe bet.... and what we got was the attached photo. I don't know what it was but it's not fooling me. The "nachos" were merely a fried tortilla that was so greasy it could have been categorized as hazardous material...with a smidge of refried beans and the most orange cheddar cheese I've ever seen. I know that's a TexMex atrocity so not points deducted for the cheese but I'm still dumbfounded about the nacho situation. $10+ for this concoction?! To their credit they did refund the couple dollars they overcharged because I did not order or want the guac or sour cream. But the real kicker was that the waitress confirmed that tamales are the only thing they don't make but rather they purchase. Wild. Because the restaurant is (kinda) named after the dish. I feel bad but I just cannot recommend and I would absolutely never go back.

Maria, our server, was amazing to certain customers, but not to my fiancé and me. It seemed we weren't the type of customers she wanted to serve. We were seated, and my fiancé had to excuse himself for a moment, so I waited. After about 4 to 5 minutes, another party was seated behind us. Before they even settled in, Maria greeted them and took their drink order. When she finally came to my table, she rushed me to place my drink order and started to walk away. I had to call her back to finish my order because I wasn't done. After taking my order, she went back to the other table to serve their drinks and appetizers. By that time, my fiancé had returned to the table. When Maria came back to us, she rushed through taking our order as well. Keep in mind it was only 11 AM, and there were maybe five other people in the restaurant at that time. When she returned, she brought the food for the party behind us before ours. At first, I thought it might have been a simple mistake, but it became clear that this was a consistent oversight. Some may think a few minutes' difference isn't significant, but if you're in a restaurant and are seated first, only to be overlooked while another party is served first, it makes you feel unimportant. At that point, we should have just left, but I was holding out hope that things would improve. Unfortunately, they did not.

Worst food I ever had at a tex mex restaurant. Tamales were not real Tamales with real meat. They tasted terrible as if they came from a can. The filling was not meat at all, just disgusting brown mush. Tea was from an un covered open plastic pitcher left out on a table. My husband's tacos were not good either. The salsa tasted bad as well , like nothing but tomatoes and garlic with no flavor. I would leave zero stars if I could have. I will never in my life set foot in here again.
