Had such a great experience at V9 Gastrobar! The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish packed full of flavor and beautifully presented. The portion sizes were generous, so you definitely feel like you’re getting great value for what you order. The cocktails were another highlight—creative, well-balanced, and honestly some of the best I’ve had in a while. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the drinks and the food. What really made the visit stand out, though, was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend if you’re looking for amazing food, great drinks, and a warm atmosphere!

We had sunday lunch last week and it was lovely, we ordered one beef and one pork and the meat was beautiful and tender. The vegetables, roast and mashed potatoes were really good too, definitely would recommend 😋

Had a lovely meal here for my mother in laws birthday. We chose the steak deal on a wednesday. Which Includes a bottle of wine. Meal and wine was fabulous. They also have entertainment which was a lovely atmosphere. Our waitress Rebecca was brilliant. Thank you for a fab night and making it special for the birthday girl

Lovely, different lunch menu! The trio of tacos was excellent and recommended! Hubby had the loaded fries which he thoroughly enjoyed too. Very generous portions! Danielle, our waitress was lovely and very attentive and the surroundings really nice with plenty of shade. Our first time at this roof top restaurant but we'll definitely be back!!

A fantastic find just above the shops which also means you avoid the busy traffic below but get a great view of the street below. Tables were spacious and shaded. The lady serving us was really friendly, and the food was fantastic.The Home made chips in particular! 👌🏻 I recommend.

Won a meal for two at V9 from TKO Radio, Spain. What a lovely place! Had a fantastic Sunday Lunch and ordered an extra one for takeaway for my “taxi driver”(husband) The meal was great, staff extremely nice and the atmosphere was fabulous. Live music across from us in another bar. The wine and cocktails were tasty too😋

Booked the V9 for a meal for 2 plus evening live entertainment with reserved seating at the Terrace opposite. We had a wonderful 3 course meal in comfortable setting with good service. The menu was simple but with a good selection to suit all tastes. The service from Tracy was excellent. The seats/table at the opposite Terrace were reserved and the live act by Chloe was excellent. Staff are wonderful and have a great sense of humour. Our dinner here was also exceptional. The trio of tacos are a must have, each with a distinct flavour and fullness of taste. I had the steak and it was truly excellent. 5*'s all round!

Lovely place in a nice setting and great service from Caroline. We had the menu of the day and the food was really good. Only thing I’d suggest is more lunchtime options. Will definitely be back to try their evening menu. A place I’d definitely recommend 👌🏼

This bar must have the most friendly staff than anywhere else in the Costa Blanca. They even remembered that my wife likes the pot of tea and although we were 2 weeks between visits the waitress asked if she was having a pot of tea tonight. Now that's what I call customer service. The best we have experienced in 7 weeks here.

My husband and I won a soup sandwich and coffee for 2 people at v9 Gastrobar Quesada from Big FM Gold Radio at Quesada last week .today we went to v9 to use the voucher .the lady who greeted us was so very pleasant and helpful .the mushroom soup was lovely very tasty and homemade with 2 slices of crusty bread and butter served with it .the sandwiches was an open sandwich with crusty bread pulled beef and melted cheese and the other one was pulled chicken with melted cheese on both served with a generous side salad and 2 sauces on the side .everything was so fresh and beautifully served I could not fault it .finished off with a tea and coffee .lovely thankyou very much we will be back

Top marks for delicious, freshly-cooked food, friendly, welcoming service, nice selection of drinks and a delightful setting up above street level. Highly recommended and will be sure to come back again soon.

We have been to V9 Gastrobar we have had the breakfast and also been to the steak night on Wednesday evening 😋 and I must say I have loved the food its delicious and the staff are very friendly and down to earth they stay and chat with you 😀 I would definitely be going on a regular basis from now on must try !!!!!

Great food and wonderful service. Delicious brushetta, stuffed mushrooms, baked brie and seafood ligging.

Popped into V9 for a light lunch while villa hunting with friends. Great roof top bar/restaurant. Food was delicious great variety of drinks also! It’s the perfect place to sit back/relax and watch the world go by! Staff were great. Underground car park very close by or plenty of side streets near by. There is also a lift at the back of the shops area that gets you up to the restaurant.

Freshly made delicious food. Staff are very nice and friendly. Place looks clean and well looked after and oh the live music on Sunday afternoon was fantastic. Definitely coming back.

Sunday roast was really good. Home cooked feel, meat was good quality, veg was a good portion & plenty of gravy. The potato’s were slightly on the dry side but you find that at most restaurants these days. The ladies serving were friendly and welcoming. They served until 6pm

We won a competition on BR2 pure gold radio on Brad's show,for the lunch special. We had a lovely lady who served us with a smile,she was so nice and helpful. The special was chicken cacciatore,and as I'm a vegetarian,i asked if there was an alternative. I was offered chickpea curry or a falafel burger with chips,I chose the latter,and very nice it was to. My husband enjoyed the chicken also. We will be back soon. Thank you.

Superb rooftop bar and food establishment. We won a prize on the Brad Street Show on BR2 Pure Gold Radio, of a lunchtime special for two. Soup or fries with a very full and tasty club sandwich (bacon and grilled chicken). Totally delicious. Lovely laid back, chilled atmosphere and excellent, friendly service. Highly recommended and we'll be back soon, for sure. Thanks V9 Gastrobar and The Brad Street Show.

Yummy food, HOMEMADE burger and chips was super juicy, loved the trio of tacos. Super sunny terrace, great all round experience.

Great rooftop bar to enjoy the last sun in the afternoon. We enjoyed the live music from the neighbours at the Vista Lounge. They are parallel and connected with a small bridge. Nice and comfortabel Seats and round tables. Delicious Piña Colada. We did’t order any food, so no thoughts on the food. Looked nice though.

We went this evening for their steak night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Two steaks, one medium rare and one well done we're cooked perfectly with no fat or gristle. Served alongside tasty homemade chips, tomato and mushrooms. A bottle of wine included in the steak night special made it great value. We paid a tad more and took advantage of their very tasty sweets. Service and staff couldn't have been better. We will definitely go back and try their other menus. Thank you V9 Gastrobar. A lovely find!

Came in for a steak night with my partner, would just like to say the food was impeccable, and the waitress who served us Tracy I honestly can’t thank her enough so polite and had a smile on her face at all times, all the staff were lovely. Will be definitely coming back 😁♥️

Recommande: pourquoi pas ... 6/10 (6 adultes +2 enfants: Plat boisson) Accueil/service: 9/10 Personnel poli, gentil et parle anglais et même un peu français. On n attend pas pour prendre commande. Pour la recevoir c'est une attente correcte, On a demandé des coloriages pour les enfants et ils se sont démené pour nous trouver de quoi occuper les enfants. Deco/ambiance: 9/10 C'est le point fort de l établissement ! Petite salle intérieur, mais superbe terrasse et véranda ! En plus, on a eu la chance, d'être présent le jour où un merveilleux groupe de musiciens étaient là. Le restaurant se trouve en bord d'une "grosse" artère, mais le bruit n'est pas excessif et dérangeant ! Qualité: 6/10 La nourriture était bonne, mais ça en plus! Cuisine de tout les jours... Toute petite carte et 4ien de fou! Nous avons mangé un steak, un blanc de poulet, fajitas (picantes!) et burger pour les enfants. Bonne sangria. Prix: 8/10 Tres correct! Stationnement: 9/10 Il y a un parking sous terrain gratuit aurestaurant et si rempli le stationnement dans les alentours n'est pas fort compliqué (gratuit).

Der Salat war mega. Selten so einen Guten gegessen. Mein Mann hat die andere Variante und war ebenfalls begeistert. Beide unterschiedliche Geschmacksrichtung. Die Bedienung hat hier alles alleine gemanagt und hat es hervorragend gemacht. Obwohl sie wirklich viel zu tun hatte, war sie so nett und freundlich. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit noch einmal in diesem Urlaub wieder.

We went for roast beef Sunday Lunch 10th May 2026 which tasted very nice but I did point out a couple of things while I was eating, 1/ The beef slice was so thick it was difficult to cut & was very chewy, it needed to be thinner slices, which to me makes more economical sense as they could have got 5 slices from the 2 thick ones that I had. 2/ The stuffing was very strange, it was placed under the meat but it was not solid, just crumbs & very powdery. For dessert my partner had apple crumble, which was excellent & I had sticky toffee sponge which was also tasty BUT we were each given a tiny dipping dish of custard (like the small glass dishes you get in Chinese restaurant for chilli dip) that had about a dessert spoon of custard, definitely not enough for a crumble & sponge, we asked for a jug of custard, the cook gave another tiny dipping dish, "ridiculous amount" apparently its to do with the presentation & I understand that food needs took nice but they could serve a decent amount of custard in a nice jug. The good thing was that the staff were attentive & polite & said the cook does not listens to comments from customers, maybe that's why it's was empty at 2pm Sunday afternoon & all the other restaurants in Quesada were full of people. Please v9 chef listen & give us proper stuffing balls & good amount of custard & nicely sliced meat.

It gets 3 stars, one being for the super kind and helpful staff, one of the bar itself, which was clean and tidy with a good choice of dining and lounging areas and one for actually having a separate vegan/vegetarian menu. However this is also where we were let down. I ordered the falafel frittatas and asked in advance if Vegan. Told yes. It came and the "tahini" dressing was "tahini" mayo. I had to question if the dressing was vegan and told yes it's mayo. When pointed out that mayonnaise is not vegan unless specifically made so, they were very apologetic and changed for another dipping sauce. As a vegan it would not have killed me to eat it but it would have been super disappointing but for people with potential allergies or those lactose intolerant , mistakes like this can make people seriously ill and in extreme cases kill. All chefs, staff should be fully versant in food intolérances and allergies in this day and age or the comeback could be serious and customers should not constantly have to question items on the menu. The food itself was average and certainly not worth 12.95 for 3 falafel balls. Shame as the potential to do better is there PS the cocktails also tasted like mocktails with zero sign of any alcohol. Overall average at best

I ordered the king prawn linguine, when it arrived guess what was missing, the king prawns. The waitress had to go and get them from the kitchen. With such a limited menu you would expect all the food to be perfect. Still great views and entertainment here.

I don't often go out for breakfast because it's impossible to get a decent sausage in an English restaurant or bar for breakfast. So I was delighted to see the menu claim to have quality sausages. Unfortunately they're the same catering sausage ones finds in every English establishment. However the service was excellent, the Scottish lady offers an impeccable and friendly service. The homemade hash browns were also excellent.

Voor het eerst in Quesada minder gegeten. Het was een steak avond. We konden geen voorgerecht bestellen en het eten werd niet bereid zoals we besteld hadden. Na het eten waren er nog een paar die honger hadden. We konden geen voorgerecht bestellen terwijl de nachos daar heerlijk zijn. Helaas kon dat dus niet. Het enige voordeel was de prijs. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

We were very excited to come here, but unfortunately it was very disappointing. - took 30 minutes to be seen for a first drink. - then when we finally asked for the bill, they then started to wipe down another table in front of us that wasn’t needing cleared. 15 minutes go by, so we then asked the same sever again (who gave no apology).

A Disappointing Return to V9 – Potential Wasted Nestled upstairs in the shopping area of Ciudad Quesada, V9 is a quaint little restaurant with an amazing terrace, that once held promise. My partner and I were regulars in its early days, but over time, the declining food quality drove us away. When we heard a new chef had taken over, we decided to give it another chance. At first, things improved slowly. They even introduced breakfast service, which brought us back twice or three times a week, until they suddenly stopped serving breakfast, and we stopped visiting again. Evenings at V9 – More Noise Than Nuance We’ve never been fans of their evening service, primarily because of the unpredictable live music - which, to be frank, often felt less like entertainment and more like unwelcome noise. For us, a restaurant should be a place to relax, savour good food, and enjoy conversation. Unfortunately, blaring music kills the atmosphere, making it impossible to talk. If you’re like us and prefer a calm dining experience, evenings at V9 might not be for you. Our Final Visit – A Culinary Letdown Our most recent trip was for lunch, and sadly, it confirmed our decision to never return. We started with Baked Brie and Pâté - except the Brie was deep-fried(not what we expected) and the Pâté was clearly store-bought, lacking any homemade charm. For mains, we ordered the BBQ ribs and the Signature Beef Burger. The ribs tasted pre-cooked and vacuum-sealed, with none of the smoky tenderness proper BBQ should have. As for the burger? I would be ashamed to call it a Signature anything if it were my restaurant. I didn’t even take a second bite. To their credit, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance is pleasant, cozy, local, and convenient. But none of that makes up for bad food. When we asked why the meal was so underwhelming, we were told the head chef was off that day. That’s no excuse, a restaurant’s standards shouldn’t collapse because one person isn’t there. Identity Crisis & High Staff Turnover A quick glance at V9’s Facebook page tells you everything: this is a restaurant that doesn’t know what it wants to be. Is it a breakfast spot? A dinner venue with live music? A casual lunch café? The lack of focus means they end up mediocre at everything. The constant ads for new chefs and cooks also raise red flags - why can’t they keep a stable kitchen team? Final Verdict – 1 Star - At Best It’s a shame, because V9 has so much potential, great location, nice atmosphere, and lovely staff. But until they define their vision, improve food consistency, and ditch the ear-splitting music, we won’t be back. If you’re in Ciudad Quesada, there are far better options for the same price.
