Service has definitely Improved. I've been here a few times these past few weeks and evening shift is doing a GREAT Job I must say.. It looks like High school kids working the evening shift are kicking butt! lol good job keep up the work and remember "Customer Service" goes along way. Keep up the good work.
Before I could even ask , which I had in mind, She told me it would be a few minutes because they were making it fresh.. That was perfect I wanted to dine in and enjoy a hot meal and I got just that . I also noticed how they talk to each other and get along..that can make a difference in an establishment..Appreciate your great service

Food came out quick and super delightful during lunch hours. Geneva took and gave me my order. She had such a positive attitude and made sure everything was in my bag. I’ve never had this done at other locations so I really appreciated the extra step she took!

Some wouldn't rate this 5 Stars, but my own experience and in what I see other customers, grants this location a 5 Star review! I do frequent this Whataburger about 3 ~ 4 times per month. Almost always, there are ten workers, if not more, so my order gets done quickly, orderly, and accurately.
This is my to go to whaterburger. I order here at least once a month. It is always packed at night. I order online to skip the line, best way to go. Only really did have one bad experience where they forgot to put my food and gave me a bag. Yes I was on the go and DID not notice. It be like that sometimes. They felt with me with no attitude and fixed my order. Will keep coming back.
The food was delicious and the workers were very nice. One of the workers were the sweetest and nicest sounding people ever
Everything was great, hot and fresh! The customer service was beyond great! A young man by the name of Kevin, I believe, just made the whole experience so sweet. He had the biggest, most genuine, and welcoming smile. He went above and beyond. For such a short interaction, it made a lasting impression. I know this young man will do great things. Someone give him a raise! ☺️

Best Whataburger in town as far as freshness goes! I did not have a long wait and the cashier was super nice and attentive! Even the drive thru employee was attentive and helped the front counter! Will definitely be retuning here again soon!! :)
Me and my brother come here pretty frequently on our lunch break. Employees are awesome and nice. Cashier during lunch time has our ordered memorized. We can get in and out with no Hassel.

I called a order in show up 5 minutes after they said it wood be ready. It wasnt when I asked the manager why he looked me right in the n told me they didn't start cooking it(my order) till I showed up.i called it in so it wood be ready for pick up at the designated time.not to sit in PKG lot for another 15 minutes waiting on my food.
Food is always fine. This particular location I frequently have to request the brew fresh tea. It is always fine in the morning, but any other time of day, it is probably spoiled.
Usually don't get your order right or take a very long time to make your food. Usually get a #4 and others come and go while I'm waiting on my order.
The drive thru experience was fine except that it was slower than other locations and the woman messed up my order. I ordered 2 meals and she only gave us the sandwiches. Kind of a bummer after a long day of not eating and being outside all afternoon till 10pm so me and my friend really wanted what we ordered but at least we weren’t charged for it, I guess. Oh and the Cinnamon Rolls were perfect as usual. (Get the tray)
went one Friday, burger so good made me come back the next Friday. idk why this time burger was blah blahhhh, coke was flat (weird) this day it just didn't hit
Ast night we picked up some meals for the fam, so I'm giving 4 stars for my food since it was perfectly made, but as for the associate taking our order, I gave a 1 star since he kept asking us "will this complete your order" after every sentence. I believe he asked us that like 7 or 8 times; we felt rushed. He should've been saying, "Is there anything else that I can help you with." But what do I know, right. He also sounded like he didn't want to be there but in bed. Surprised that our order was perfectly made though, so overall, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the sleepy rushing associate.
Well, this is unfortunate, because I like whataburger, like most my fellow brothers and sisters of this lone star state. This location didn't live up to standards and I hope that they fast track their way back. I ordered a burger and added ketchup. I received a ketchup sandwich between two unsuspecting pieces of texas toast. Just an amazing amount of ketchup. This was beyond overkill. The meat patty was hidden amongst this ketchup atrocity. Imagine a half bottle of ketchup on your burger, just dripping away and unstable. It was honestly just horrible. I took first bite and was not pleased bit tried to trick myself into another bite, hoping it would get better. It didn't. I was not going to recover. It was a lost cause. I feel bad for the texas toast, the hamburger patty, the grilled onions, and the cheese. They didn't deserve that. This was their big moment of being a whataburger but fell flat. I didn't eat anymore of it. But good news, my friends dogs loved it! Too bad, the dogs aren't giving thus review. Ok for the good news: onion rings on point Coke was delicious! Service was quick and friendly. Well thats it folks! I'll stick with the whataburger by my place.
I dont usually go eat whataburger cuz theres been times i get the food wrong or cold but this time it was better then other experiences everything was almost perfect just one of the meals i had ordered was done wrong it was a chicken sandwich it looked and tasted burnt was so dried out they replaced it though cant say I recommend or not cuz it wont be the same for everyone
This Whataburger was amazing about 8 months ago. I don't know if they had a management change or what, but now you will wait in the drivethru from 30 to 45 minutes on average after dark. Be sure to check every part of your order. In my last 7 visits I've asked for a drink with no ice, they've gotten it wrong every single time, usually no napkins unless you specifically request them, and have ommited at least one part of my order every time. (Large not large, no fries once, skipped the ketchup even though it was specifically requested, charged for bacon: no bacon, etc) Now I have resolved to sitting at the window, going through my entire bag, opening my burger, and making them fix the issues. Sorry everyone behind me in the forever long line. Food is still great and the staff does thier best to be friendly.

Was served by a polite young man named Nathan at the drive through. He was very friendly and talkative, but I specifically asked that he make sure to provide me with a receipt and a couple of extra ketchup condiment packets. As I was driving away I realized he did neither. I had to turn back and walk inside to ask for the aforementioned items.
I'm not a huge fan of fast food places, but once inawhile, I do get a craving for a burger. I come to this establishment because it is super convenient, and the ingredients are fresh. I get every Texan is a huge fan of Whataburger but waiting in line for over 45 minutes seems ridiculous, and not to mentioned when you make it to the window you are met with an individual with the worse attitude. Next time I have a craving for a burger, I'll pass by and if there's a small or no line, I'll swing by but if there's too many cars that you can't even make it into the parking lot, I'll just go to different establishment.
It's just basic overpriced fast food... nothing more
This establishment has changed drastically over the years. The food is just NOT the same, and its over priced like many of today's Fast Food restaurants, which we try to stay away from.
The cashier was rude, she used a sarcastic tone and laughed at me when I asked to correct the order. Also, they don't let you take extra ketchups 😔

A decent Whataburger but on the sketchy part of town. If there was a Whataburger at distance similar to this one, I would go to that one instead. Its just aight but not great.
Chicken sandwich seemed thrown together. Extra sauce I requested was moreso on the wrapper than the sandwich. Fries were fresh. Arnold Palmer tasted off.
I think the food was good the service attentive. I believe I asked for one burger but ended up paying for two. Generally don't care if they mess up but to be perfectly honest the burgers were good. Glad to buy an extra meal that was indeed delicious.
This Waterburger is good. The food is fresh and the employees are friendly. My only complaint is that at any time of day the service snail slow. Even if im the only person in the drive thru it always takes close to 15 minutes to get anything. I know they do t start cooking tol you order but it's pretty ridiculous. Other than that...it's great.
I used to tell everyone this was the best Whataburger around. But for the last couple months the drive thru times have really sucked. It doesn’t matter if your the only person or four cars back. It takes 20 minutes. Quality food but not quality people working there.
2/17/23 Evening Visit What a Disappointment! The hamburger patties were warm, and the Jalapeño burger had so much lettuce that the burger was cold. Similarly, the plain patty melt was only warm and not hot. The servings of fries and onion rings were not generous. Overall, I would not recommend this Whataburger location. The customer service was lackluster, and the prices were $20+ for two meals. This wasn't it.
They always take for ever on your order even if you’re only ordering one thing and somehow they always manage to get something wrong. The customer service is good but the wait time sucks. I know it takes time to cook the food but dam. Lol Edit: I keep coming here because of how close it is to my house but thinking of just driving further so I can save myself the frustration. Just know that if they ask you to go to lane B your order WILL BE WRONG. So double check before you leave. It doesn’t matter if they repeat the order back to you correctly. Your order will be wrong.
They burgers too sloppy. When you ask for extra mayo they must get mad because they put it on their like slop. It tare your bread. Then give you so little lettuce you can't taste it.
Of all the great Whataburger restaurants that I've been to, this isn't one of them. I got a curbside order, but my drink wasn't brought to me so I had to go inside and get it. I got down the road and discovered that my onion rings and my chicken sandwich were a dark brown color from the dirty oil in which they'd been fried. That was one of the worst chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Absolutely terrible.
Was very disappointed and Whataburger on southmore because here it was 6:30 I'm getting ready to order my food and there is a long line the Whataburger at Southmore facility all lights were off outside light nothing was on other than the lights inside there was a long line and people was waiting , there were no staff outside take orders to keep the line moving or use lane "B" and no staff at the driver to help with orders. Was very disappointed on them had to wait 45 minutes. This facility need to improve badly!!! If I have to drive to the facility at Red bluff ( Whataburger) I would, because it did not took long to get my order there, when I got there the outside light were on and very well lite plus there was two staff by the speaker taking orders if the was a line in both lane it was moving very fast pull to the front there I saw two more staff working at the outside driver thur who was give the customer there drinking and food and receiving there money, it took me about 20 minutes to receive my drinking and food. I was very proud of your manger for having a fully staff worker at Whataburger Red bluff facility and not have to wait. Thumbs 👍 for the staff at Red bluff Whataburger.
ordered pancakes at 8:34am. waiting outside in drive thru. got to be 8:54am so i called because i was going to be late for work. they said they would check the status. a few minutes later someone came out and gave me my order. i ended up late to work on my birthday. ended up not eating it because i was late and got busy a work. mind you i was the only car in the drive thru when i arrived. and not many inside. took way too long.
Two stars cause this is my go to, but yall are stingy with the sausage I got multiple sausage and gravies and they had almost no sausage in them , they uses to have a generous amount. Disappointing 😞 like yall used tea spoons for the portions
Slow service I get a quick lunch and spent most of it waiting for an order of fries , a medium fries took 15 mins because they forgot about the the bag. And didn’t even include the condiments.

Burgers are almost always cold have to microwave 80% percent of the time. I went in today and ordered the number 2 with cheese no mustard and got home to find out the cheese is not even melted. I keep coming back because the food is good.
Place is very unorganized, the workers kept saying they lost order , & if I was sure I ordered already . I ordered 2 #1’s , 1 plain just with cheese and a coke & the other all the way w/ a sweet tea. Got home , the plain burger had mustard, no cheese. The sweet tea was un-sweet.
Waited over 30 minutes for my food, worker hands it to me and says sorry, I said I wanted my money back, he took my food from me and went to the back. 5 minutes later another worker comes out and puts money back on my card but doesn't give me a receipt. I asked for a receipt, she returned to the back with my receipt and comes back after 5 more minutes and gives me a copy. I went back to work still hungry but now I'm mad! Ruined my day.

The worst whataburger to order from. They always have attitude (night shift) they will mess up your order not give a receipt, then tell you that you can’t get your food because you don’t have a receipt. Online orders are never on time. You can order drinks and then they say oh we don’t have that and continue to order another drink on the menu let you order it and go to the window and find out you have to order a different drink. Employees throwing roaches out the front entrance at each other. Vaping with management. Employee got mad because you want napkins and they don’t have them. This employee got upset because I told her what else do they not have and they could get napkins from somewhere. You literally gave us our drinks spilt and there is soda on the top of lids and in the bottom of the bag everywhere. She then seen us parked in the front entrance of the restaurant got mad and walked outside to try and start problems with me by standing starring and pacing back and forth at the back of my vehicle. I was parked in the front of the restaurant eating with my children in the car. This exact day other people were getting upset in the drive through because they had people waiting very long time to order and had issues pronouncing there order. As it was our turn to order I then found out why people were upset. My husband was trying to order a certain bun and couldn’t pronounce it properly, the manager gets on the head set and start making fun of the way he is saying it and says, “what we don’t have that type of bun”,we don’t sale that! I had to tell him yes y'all do , it’s on your spicy chicken sandwich. People are fighting and stealing the cones in the parking lot on this day. I have a video. I recommend you not come here in the night. Poor customer service.
This Whataburger location needs a total makeover of the employees who work here. Asked them specifically if I can please have my fries fresh and hot. Nope, live 5 minutes away and they were cold and soggy by the time I got home. Asked for Creamy Pepper sauce on my burger and got charged for it but it wasn’t on there?! Spend $31 for a family of three and yet you can not put a single effort in to make our meals correct? Oh, let’s not forget that we ordered a LARGE FRY but it comes in a large container but yet the fries looked like a small order of fries. Actually make an effort of the ob you have! If it is not the employees then it must be the management that doesn’t give the drive they should give to them.
0 stars if I could. I ordered my food here. I had an online order. I ordered sweet and spicy combo as well as a #13. My burger lacked grilled onions, which is a major part of the burger. The employees also forgot to hand us our drinks. Really im posting not because things were forgotten this order, but because things are forgotten every order. It adds up and is asinine as it has been occurring for months. I wish it was an exaggeration but third shift needs to get their heads out of their assess. I've never had an issue with morning or afternoon orders, only evening orders.
I don’t ever leave reviews like I honestly think this is my very first one on this platform and I’ve had it for years. For the past 2 years I’ve been coming to this branch and within the past few times I’ve came the service is HORRIBLE, I’ve waited for 30+ minutes for my food when they have barely any line, I’ve waited 5-10 minutes trying to simply order my food just to get to the window and get told to pull up to the yellow line and wait (the very last time I came I waited for an hour just for them to bring my food out and forget literally half of my order). This has happened on every recent occasion I’ve had here. I do not know what’s happened but In the past I’ve come here and they’ve had a line to the road and have gotten better service. I do not believe I will continue to come back

Don’t go before 6:00 am. They took 20 minutes. When asked why the long wait, I was told they had to “get food ready in order for it to be fresh”. People waiting in front of me left without their food. Not once did they thank me for waiting. When I asked the girl why she didn’t even thank me for waiting so long… she paused and said “Have a good day”. Got order wrong. Only this location…. What a shame because I love their food!!

I did a curb side pk up I park right infront the store were you can see the inside. This location was not busy at all after about 9minutes wait i ended up going inside for my food and I still had to wait my drink wanst ready and I was 5 minutes late from ready time. I been to other locations were they stay pack and less wait time on curb side orders. I will change my rating if I go again and it's different service.
They will straight up let you sit at the box for 20 minutes before they ask you what you want. And the food is still not fresh. Crazy.
I’m writing because I’m completely disgusted by the experience I had with the Southmore and Pasadena Boulevard location on June 7, 2025 I paid $17.00 for what has to be the most embarrassing excuse for a meal I’ve ever received from a fast food chain—period. The two taquito meals? Flimsy, pitiful wraps with barely any filling—more like rolled-up tortillas pretending to be food. — "hashbown/potatoes sticks" thrown in like an afterthought. And the two small chocolate shakes? They tasted like watery milk with a whisper of disappointment. No chocolate, no flavor—just sad, cold liquid. This isn’t just a bad order—it’s unacceptable. I don’t know if your staff was half asleep or just didn’t care, but this felt like a slap in the face to anyone expecting a decent meal. It didn’t even fill my kid up. I had to go to another place right after just to get her something worth eating before daycare. That should never happen after spending nearly twenty bucks. Frankly, I could’ve gone to McDonald’s, spent less, and actually received food that resembled what was advertised. And I don’t want some generic apology—this needs to be addressed within your store and staff
This place is the WORST location to exist. The shift crew on March 24 @11pm going til midnight is even horrible and timing is sooooo off. I was told I couldn’t order a breakfast item @ 10:55 pm. Mind you I waited already 35 minutes so why refuse to sell or make it. I was in line waiting for my food already approximately 45 total minutes. When I got to the window the person in front of me had something wrong with their food. MAKING THE WAIT LONGER. The cashier proceeded to hold the line for this specific car. I even drove around to come inside to check MY order that was already cold and the cashier proceeded to ignore me as I asked her about it. She also had a rude expression. She could’ve simply took my payment and passed me my food but she just walked away and placed my food under the register without even trying to ask if I was still taking the food. She just threw it under the register like wow. This crew needs better timing and strategy with holding cars and making sure orders are made correctly. It was just horrible service tonight. I AM NEVER GIVING THIS PLACE A 5 STAR.
Fries tasted old as of they were under the warmer for a long time. Not fresh I ordered a burger online and customized it and it was completely incorrect. I was not given ketchup nor utensils for my salad. Lastly, I didn't recieve any napkins.
Went the drive through. Received someone else's order. They had to remake the food and I spent over 30 minutes at this location waiting. Just for them to make the order wrong again. Very unorganized. This the third time I visit this location and the third time they get it wrong.
They are always packed at any time of day that you go . Was In line for 30 mins only for one car to move . Please go somewhere else. And they never refunded my money. Obviously they need more than I do.
I came to this location at 10:30pm, there was only 2 cars in line while I was on the drive thru speaker waiting on someone to get my order! After both cars left I kept on waiting and no one answered ! So I pulled up to the window and nobody was doing anything but standing there! Even tho they saw me at the window! I'm really mad because i always order online so when i get there i don't have to wait. I waited over 20 minutes for my small order and they were serving people that came and order inside the store while i was waiting and they all got their order before me. Also I always have something missing from my order which is aggravating!
Take your time and money to a different location would only come here because I get a car wash next door but this place is a let down hopefully next time I come it will be different and I’ll change my review

Night shift drive thru never fails to be the slowest and most horrible service
They got our order wrong 2 times and the girl with the red hair and piercings at night ALWAYS has a nasty attitude. I will not come here again. I don’t understand what is so hard about reading the receipts
I do think they need a better organizational skills, because after all the mix ups it was just frustrating. We began ordering our stuff at the speaker box but later an associate comes, and interrupts our order so that she can take it down on the tablet instead. Not only did she get the order wring but we had informed her prior it would be separate orders and begins to charge us all together. Then when we got our orders we were missing items and were charged wrong. It was just confusing, frustrating trying to speak and getting it fixed with the staff, and all through out frustrating
Ordered a meal online, I get to the window and the girl at the cash register whit pink hair didn’t get her name, asked me what I ordered I tell what I ordered then they start looking for the order I tell them I ordered in the app the girls attitude changes she goes your supposed to notify me if you order online I said you asked me what I ordered I told you what the order was,so after handing me the order whit the receipt she was so bothered and angry that she forgot to read it she says did it come whit a soda I see yes a large coke no ice she then goes to get it and before handing it to me whit the window half closed she says can I see your receipt to se before I hand you the drink I have to make sure you purchased it whit a drink so I take the receipt off the bag hand it to her she read it hands me the drink all that just to pick up a order if she was that angry how do I know know she didn’t tamper whit my food or drink just out of spite
I have been here many times and they never fail to disappoint. The staff is always talking and messing around, meanwhile I have been waiting for my order for 15 minutes! The order wasn't even correct!
Waited in drive through for over 20 minutes just for them to tell me they couldn’t take my coupon that WHATABURGER emailed me all because I didn’t have my receipt anymore so I said forget it. Do better Whataburger.
I would leave a star for food but they sold me a burger with no meat. I guess its better than the guy who waited outside 40 mins before coming in. At least I left with bread. This location is booty they need new management.
Service is the worst, place my order and I didn't get it on time it took more than 10 minutes I have to asked the employee to check on it and they gave the hot cakes with no syrup no butter and no fork The whole point to buy breakfast from there was to avoid getting home and cook but I have to get everything else Butter, syrup and forks You all don't know how people is feeling and what is the reason to stop and get breakfast or whatever and you all get the job to be just complaining about working and not doing your job as you suppose to. You deserve less than one star but ther is no minutes one.
