I know Chilis is more popular. But the bourbon street steak is a staple in my book. Manager Derek handles the biz like a champ. Steve has phenomenal customer service skills.

Had not been to Applebee's in a while. Stop in Rockwall Tx on my way from Dallas. Got there about 8:30 pm. Was seated in the bar area. Things went a little slow but ended up being good service, and the food was cooked to our liking. The bartender/waitress thanked us for our patience.

Our boys thoroughly enjoyed their endless wings and said the flavors were amazing! Our server Savannah was so attentive and friendly. The manager on duty worked the room making every guest feel like one of the neighbors. On a side note the water was actually REALLY good! Lol

What an amazing way to end my annual slumber party with my out of town friends. Fate forced us apart many years ago and luck only brings us together a few days a year, and any chance we get together we want to be perfect, and that is EXACTLY what CC at Applebee's gave us. She was so attentive and friendly, checking on us plenty enough to ensure we were doing great, and delivering our food and drinks with such exceptional skill. Thank you CC, and thank you Applebee's for letting the rare visit with my friends end so splendidly. The Caesar shrimp salad was DELICIOUS, and their new fruit flavored iced tea was so refreshing and an absolutely perfect treat for this warmer weather we've been getting.

The cujan pasta, with grilled chicken and mild sausage, is wonderful and I recommend it.

I occasionally visit Applebee’s in Rockwall Texas. But on 04/01, we stopped with some friends for a quick dinner and we found this witty, very nice bartender named Shelby. Very nice lady and great attention. Is people like that that makes me comeback to this ole town restaurant.

It is a rainy day today. Lots of activity going on here at the 🍎 Applebee's in Rockwall Texas. They had it decorated red, white and blue for Veterans Day! It was packed full of Veterans which slowed the service down quite a bit, but that's not their fault. Loved the food, the service and the people. I ordered the 'Oriental Chicken Salad' Absolutely delicious. The salad was cold and crispy with a crunch, and the chicken was cut into small bite-sized pieces. Go try it out, I think you're going to like it. 👍

Applebee's Grill Dallas was a great visit. We were properly attended to. As a matter of fact, the lady that I attended to us, took our orders off the head which was very impressive 👏 , my friend thought she will make a mistake with our orders, but she was so accurate with it. The food was so good. The kiddie's meal was really good, Ada loved it. The staff were so courteous, one lady kept coming to us to know if we'd been attended to. We did a to-go, and it was well-packed. I had a good time at Applebee's Grill!

I was actually impressed, this place exceeded my expectations. This place has the bar I wish a couple other restaurants in the local area had, it was open and in a nice U shape so you can talk to other people as you watch the TV. The restaurant was clean and felt very open, with some nice light coming in from the windows. I haven't been to an Applebee's in about 20 years so it was kind of like I was new to the menu. I ended up ordering the wonton chicken tacos and the Brew Pub pretzels. Everything was very good, and the service was attentive as well. The wonton tacos would be amazing vegetarian style as well. It seemed like a lot of the people that were at the bar knew each other, they said hello to people coming in and goodbye to people leaving so they have regulars. They have amazing specials, things that are three to five dollars during different happy hours. I posted a picture of their happy hour special menu card so you can see for yourself. Overall a very good experience.

I had such a great experience at Applebee’s thanks to Addison! From the moment we sat down, she was welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Addison was super friendly, and for it being her first week she did superb and gave great recommendations. Our food came out quickly and everything was spot on. It’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond to make the dining experience enjoyable, but Addison truly did. Definitely one of the best servers I’ve had most definitely will be asking for her next time I come in!

We came here with my mom and husband. It wasn't crowded. We got our drinks in a timely manner and they stayed filled. Our order was taken quickly and we got our food it was perfectly hot. Our server was kind and just the right amount of checking in on us. We took our left overs to go. The bathrooms were clean. Everything was wheelchair accessible. will go back

Food was fine, service wasn't the best but there was only one waitress and she had 8 tables, so not really her fault. this was at 6pm, So it wasn't packed except the loud bar full of middle aged drunk people.

My wife, my mother and i decided to duck out of the heat and grab a bite to eat. At first everything was fine but as time went on our service providers attitude got worse. She was a bartender with a few bar patrons but she was far from busy and must have been having a bad day. Normally i try to be understanding but honestly i don't enjoy coming out to have a good time only to have it ruined by an employee's bad day, so i spoke to the manager to let her know i wasn't impressed. I go out to enjoy myself (like I'm only assuming most do) and spend my hard earned money on things that make me happy. If you're not happy with your job please do all other patrons a favor and find another one.

We went there to celebrate our granddaughter's achievements. The waitress was ok. Pleasant and courteous and efficient. The food could have been better. Burgers were a little greasy and some of the appetizers were under seasoned. The experience was not bad enough for me not to try again.

What are you all doing in this restaurant where is the GM Shena we have not seen her here in awhile. This location changes managements way too much I will say at the least she had the restaurant clean especially the restrooms. Nothing seem Hetic when she is there the entire staff is on top of handling the guest. You can tell that woman cares. The tall new guy manager just looks and stares like he seems confused all the time and the new lady does not help them the poor bartender Makenna was by herself and the new manager didn’t even help her If you guys wanna keep this location afloat better keep the same service as when the GM is there.

Probably will not ever be back to this location! Visited Saturday 04/02/22 & upon arrival, the host informed us that only a few select items were available due to short staff. Not sure how long they had been short-staffed, but the limited menu(only had burgers & about 4-5 different appetizers) was typed & printed out on individual copies as if it had probably been that way for a while. We spoke briefly with our children & decided to let them decide on whether we would stay or go. Of course, they wanted to stay because honestly, they were ready to eat. We ordered Buffalo wings & spinach artichoke dip as appetizers, before putting in our order for our dinner. And it was just okay. Two of the plates our waitress brought out for our appetizers weren't cleaned, so we just didn't eat from any of them. After receiving the appetizers, we realized we didn't want to stay. So we asked the waitress if the cook had started to prepare our meals & she said yes. We of course felt obligated to stay. Our dinner wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. The restaurant is just very outdated on the inside. Stains on the ceiling too! The waitress was nice. We spent a little over $100 to feed our family of 5.

This was a rough interaction here. The host was nice, sat me and even gave me my water (which is the only reason I'm giving two stars). However, no one else even came to take my order. It was a slow raining day today and even other waiters walked past me without even asking me if I've been helped. After sitting for 20 minutes I ended up walking out. Wouldn't recommend.

I ordered a strawberry chicken salad. It was fourteen ninety nine, and it was very small.

It was pretty slow when we arrived and it seemed like the only person working the floor was the bartender. She told us that the manager had sent a wait staff person on an errand but was just getting back. I order the boneless wings with honey bbq and my spouse the oriental chicken salad. The wings were tough and way toouch bbq sauce. His oriental chicken salad was good. I don't think we will return to this location again.

Our waitress was very nice and kind. The food was barely warm and the taco shells were stale. Gnats were awful. After they started flying around and landing on my food, I stopped eating and left it. The restaurant is dirty, also.

Food was adequate at best. Was not impressed at all with this location. The sampler trio or sports trio whatever it was, was barely warm as far as I'm concerned, there was no real temperature heat to it. The lettuce wrap hamburger my wife got looked really good, you could tell they wash the lettuce really well there was still water coming out of it lol. The french fries tasted a little bit stale to her. To me they weren't greasy but they almost tasted are fried? They we're literally the ends and pieces like the ones left over from the bag. I mean Chick-fil-A has better fries, and they have better fried chicken pieces, even if it's not real chicken as far as I'm concerned lol. But all in all it was okay food I would not recommend the food at this location. However let's be fair, I haven't tried their salmon or their steaks. Generally the stakes are usually pretty good and the salmon is always been pretty spot on. With all the negative about the food the service was pretty good, and the atmosphere was nice and quiet, they didn't have TVs blaring and people wouldn't screaming at the games that have been played like last year 😆. We're kind of kicking ourselves we didn't go to either Cheddar's scratch kitchen or the local Italian place just down the street. It would have been at least served piping hot as food should be and it would have been better flavored. Basically this is a management quality control kind of situation, maybe the store manager should get on top of this, this isn't something you want to delegate to an assistant manager, or pawn off as being the responsibility of some kitchen supervisor. The store manager should be right on top of quality control, and that includes flavor, freshness and just overall quality.

Never ordered the two for $25 but we said why not and well let’s just say you get what you pay for! Would give zero stars if I could. We asked for a $10 bucket each and they said we could only get one when every other location has never told us that. Our queso was half cold and they still continued to serve us the wrong drink that they said we had to share. Our server Teneisha then decided that we were done apparently and served us the check without asking if we wanted entrees or another drink. So essentially we got cut off after one shared drink between the two of us and horrible service.

The service was extremely poor! We experienced long delays in ordering, receiving drinks and food. My husband's order was incorrect, but he attempted to eat it after waiting so long. Unfortunately, he didn't enjoy it and barely ate. The waitress seemed disorganized, forgetting my refill request. Other customers complained and left due to the wait. Many waited by the door, citing hour-long delays. I won't recommend or return to this place. They declined to provide a booster chair, instead offering a dirty one, which we didn't use due to its condition and we have our 8 months old baby.

On 8/2/25 I vist this applebee's and I was very disappointed. They only had one server which was very nice but the food was horrible and everytime I went to the bar to ask for something the bartender completely ignored me the whole time at the bar. Short staffed. After seated and our order taken it nearly took 45 min to receive our food not leaving out the fact that the food was not what we ordered. My chicken Ceasar salad was the worst. Would never come to eat at this Applebees again.

When fries come out cold, you know the food's going to be horrible. The waitress got called to the other side of the restaurant to tend to a larger table, so the time between visits were quite long (wasn't her fault). The music was upbeat and the people were having a good time. Well we decided to give it another shot. This time was worse than the first time. We stood at the door while staff stared off into space. We finally got seated and ordered drinks from the bar and appetizers. 30 minutes later we got water. The entire time 2 bartenders stood there talking....not making drinks. This will be the last time I ever come here again!

This was my first time eating at this location and let's just say it will be my last. The service was absolutely TERRIBLE. The server couldn't even be bothered enough to introduce themselves. It took over 30 minutes for drinks and even longer for an appetizer. Our appetizer was just thrown on the table and I had to ask for appetizers plates. I've been a waitress for 18 years and the type of service I received I was completely disgusted by it. Even with the terrible service I still left 18% when they actually deserved nothing. My suggestion if you don't like what you do CHANGE it!

This Applebee's is a complete joke. Was here for over almost 2 hours and I only ordered 2 apps. And 1 dessert. Drink was never filled up and only seen my waitress twice when she dropped the food off. The manager on duty was also a complete joke. Didn’t want to honor the 1/2 priced apps and was completely unprofessional. They need to find new management before this manager runs this Applebee's into the ground.

Safety concern! Stopped to get some dinner at this location while I was on the phone with my friend a customer was sitting in the booth directly in front of me appear to be intoxicated. He turned around and asked me to not talk on the phone and to lower my voice, cussed me out and made a threatening statement towards me, and that he will do something if I don’t hang up the phone. When I asked for the manager Rauel showed up, and I explained to her the whole story instead of immediately kick them out of the building and has zero tolerance for behavioral like that, she moved me to a different table and kept them enjoying their dinner. At that point, I didn’t feel comfortable at all to stay and I said that I’m gonna leave because the nature of the situation. I had ordered my food that I did not touch and she end up charging me for something I didn’t touch. The situation was handled very poorly by the manager, she was not firm at all, and was trying to have me not to say anything so other people doesn’t listen to our conversation and when I said I’m gonna leave, she said, yeah you’ll have to pay. I think Applebee’s need to do better job to take care of their customer, safety and well-being and to have zero tolerance for behavioral like that. I will definitely not come back here anymore. I felt like I was humiliated and disrespected by both that customer and the manager.

I ordered 75 dollars worth, and the chicken Alfredo didn't have any sauce it was super dry it was a waste of money. The onion ring was super hard i was not pleased at all.

I wish I could give no stars. We walked in and waited several minutes for the bartender, who was also the manager, to seat us. At least she acknowledged us and was busy, so I completely understand, however, the server in our section seemed as if she didn't even want us to be there. She had a large party just getting up after paying when we were sat, and she looked at us several times but continued to slowly bus the table. She walked by us at least twice, getting cleaning supplies, but never greeted us at all. Finally, after 10 minutes, we left. It was dead in there. Maybe three tables and a few bar guests with at least 3 servers and the manager. There was zero excuse for that level of service. Highly disappointed, as I really just wanted some wonton tacos. Do better, Applebee's.

My food was hard, like microwaved. My waiter was nice, the food was very disappointing. I won’t be returning. Plus why are their gnats flying around so much!!! Cups were old and smudgy. This restaurant is located in a great spot, but clearly needs updated night management who checks for quality!!!

I placed a to go order today (1/24/2025) at 6:04pm for one meal. The order was accepted and told me it would be ready to pick up at 6:19pm. When my husband got there, around 6:20, he was told it wasn’t ready. At 6:45 he asked the manager the status, she said kitchen was busy, but she would check. He was not able to get her attention again (apparently she never checked) until he asked again around 7:20pm. He finally got the food at 7:20pm. It took an hour and 15 minutes for one meal. No one ever apologized for making my husband stand on his feet inside the restaurant and wait an hour for this food. The manager was dismissive. I’m incredibly disappointed. In addition, the shrimp was not edible and the grilled onions were undercooked. The chicken was good, but not worth this hassle.

Ordered the $5 drinks and was told they were 8.99. Told them to pit the tomatoes on the side and it came out with them all over the top of our nachos. Whwn we told 1 of the waitresses she said I will being you a plate to take them off and never came back. Then when we told them to remake them it was missing all the sides and we had to ask for them. Other drinks were ordered and they either never came or took the whole meal to get. This place is not busy it shouldn't take that long to make and get. We could see it sitting at the bar. We were not impressed or happy about this visit. We don't came here often because of things like this.

I went here my burger was raw I sent it back it came back raw again. There was hair and particles in my drink their cups were nasty. The manager did give us$10 off the meal I didn't eat my meal or enjoy my experience @ the Applebee's of Rockwall and i30

Went last night with my family and I think my daughter got food poisoning. She ordered the bourbon chicken and shrimp and today she feel terrible. I ordered the honey pepper chicken pasta. I couldn't taste any pepper and my pasta was just barely warm. I usually have no problems with Applebee's but won't be back to this one. The server was at least nice

This Rockwall Applebees has the worst management , she has managed to fire her best bartenders and run off longstanding customers. The food has been inconsistent, most of the time really bad. After eating a burger there I got E. coli and had to take several rounds of antibiotics. The burger didn’t taste right so I only ate half of it….thank God because it probably would have killed me. I think whoever or whatever is going on in that kitchen needs to be investigated and resolved. If not, they need to be shut down.

Went to Applebee’s and ordered mozzarella sticks and chicken quesadillas. Honestly, not impressed. The mozzarella sticks came out quick but the hey were soggy — they tasted like they had been microwaved instead of fried. The chicken quesadillas took for ever to came out, but the tortilla was cold, which made the whole thing underwhelming. The service was worse than the food. Our server took forever to even come take our order, despite it being a slow night with barely anyone there. Once we finally ordered, the food came out quick, but then it was another long wait just to get the check. I even asked another staff member to help, and we still waited way too long just to pay. The total was $30.94. I gave $41 to get back $10.06 — they gave me just $10. I guess they needed the 6 cents more than I did. Not planning on going back anytime soon. If I could I would leave no stars!!!

Worst service ever experienced as the staff made us wait 30 minutes and haven’t provided water too during the wait period. Understaffed and we had our child go impatient due to the excessive wait when it wasn’t even busy.

Over the past year, the Rockwall Applebee’s has gone downhill quickly, and it all comes down to the management. They’ve consistently brought in new managers who seem more focused on firing people and running off the good employees than actually creating a positive environment. Because of this, they can’t keep staff, and it shows in the terrible service. The turnover is nonstop, and everyone in town seems to complain about how horrible the management is. It’s sad, because there used to be great employees here who cared about the guests, but management drove them all away. Save your money and avoid the Rockwall Applebee’s. Unless they make a serious change at the top and bring in better leadership, it’s just not worth it.

I felt our waiter Chloe was new and and was not getting the support of her management to help her learn properly we found a dead bug on the window seal when brought up to management management joked at least our exterminator is working I feel like it shouldn't have been there in the first place and if there's bugs at the tables it makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen

The experience began how I assume most Applebees experiences start. Chili's was busy. We got a table for 5 and the server met us at the table to see if we were ready to order before we pulled our chairs out. He then proceeded to do some server comedy that would probably kill at a the Applebees quarterly review but our table just wanted to look at the menu. After selecting what i wanted to eat, and answering questions like, "pink or no pink?" We waited for our food. I usually order burgers medium rare but I said no pink because all trust had been lost. After receiving our food, we had one person who couldn't get past the first bite and I got halfway through my very pink burger before my friends, worried for my health, stopped me. Two others at the table finished their meal with no issues except a battle with an empty ketchup bottle as the server stared concerned but offered no solutions. Our fifth and smartest member was a preteen child that read the room better than all of the adults and simply passed on touching any of the food. When the check came, we were going to split it up but one of us was so intent to leave they paid the whole bill so we could escape. The most satisfying experience was walking back outside where the world made sense. Pro tip : Just wait for a table at Chili's. Edit : Also they did multiple interviews one table away from us and everyone was offered the job on the spot and were told they could start tomorrow.

Slow service. Food was burnt. But what really set me off was the manager seemed intoxicated like she had just left a party. She attempted to come to our table to ask how we were but it was hard to understand her through her slurred speech. We will NOT be coming back. My children did not need to see that.

We arrived later in the evening, around 10:45, and when we came in, the staff seemed annoyed with us right off the bat. After we got sat we didnt have someone take care of us until about 15 minutes of us being there. When we finally got someone to get our drink order, the server had attitude with us and even took away our menus only after ordering appetizers. afterwards he brought our drinks 21 MINUTES LATER. On top of that the drinks they brought were wrong. We sat down for around 40 minutes with no food and no drinks with about 5 visible staff members and a near empty restaurant. Very disappointed

Service is non existent. I mean literally I was seated and no one came to me. I waited 15 minutes and the guy said about 3 times that my server was coming and she never did. 15 minutes later she came (looking dumb and not all there) and said she had no idea there were customers and that she was supposed to leave an hour ago. If this is the best they can do on the front end just imagine how bad it is in the back. I will never go back

If I could give 0 stars I would. I got off my night shift craving the blondie and went to the Applebees to satisfy that craving. When there, I wasn’t greeted for 6 minutes and when I finally was, I ordered one drink and asked for a menu. 35 minutes passed and nobody came back to take my order. I was sitting at the BAR. The bartender who was apparently not feeling well was nowhere to be found. I finally asked for a manager, who said since she wasn’t feeling well he was supposed to be out there helping her out. Keep in mind, in the now FORTY minutes I’ve been sitting there without my order taken, he hadn’t shown his face once. This place has terrible service and I would absolutely recommend not eating here

Long wait to order, to get drinks, appetizers and food. Over 30 Minutes to get an appetizer and it explains why it is so empty.
