As a realtor, I am so appreciative of places that I can take clients that provide consistently great food and service in a casual environment. This place has great spice and local flavor right in the trendy Trinity Groves neighborhood of Oakcliff. #buywithscooter #sellingoakcliffdallas

Jazz playing early on a Sunday morning. Nice looking place with good service. Just had an iced coffee but the barista was attentive and the vibe was great. Will be back!

Great staff. Very Clean contemporary nicely adorned sheek atmosphere. I ordered The Ella Fitzgerald salted caramel Latte. Nia my barista was so sweet. She served with a smile. The gentleman (glasses) was very personable & helpful very welcoming. Will definitely be back for food. Arrived 3:15pm. They served us with a smile even though preparing to close at 4pm. Nice cool patrons. Great coffee shop atmosphere.

Visited this place for the first time and it was simply amazing. The lattes and sausage biscuit was so good! Will return to try some other items.

They say people typically leave reviews when things are really good or when they’re really bad… You can clearly see how I felt about my meal & I neverrrr finish a meal in a restaurant. They call it Cajun fish and grits (I added the shrimp) and I’m always skeptical about ‘Cajun’ in Dallas , but they definitely got it right . 10/10 !

This cafe is a gem. The staff is wonderful. The pastry was perfect and so was the coffee. The esthetics and ambience top it off. I can't wait to go back and I am recommending it to everyone.

Soirée Coffee Bar is a MUST visit when in the Dallas area! The atmosphere is very classy and welcoming. Not to mention, the food is DELICIOUS and perfect for breakfast or lunch. I ordered the avocado toast which was very fresh and tasty! Every Saturday and Sunday there’s live music outdoors during brunch time. Thanks to LaFree, Clive, and all of the staff who made this experience unlike any other.

If I could give this place 10 stars... I most certainly would. The atmosphere was everything. The wait staff, cashier, chef, management, baker... you name it.. There is definitely an All-Star there.. Herman... kudos to the chef.. that came out personally to ensure that my food was prepared to perfection... And so many others that made my visit a completely gratifying experience!! If you have not visited yet... then shame on you... what are you waiting for? Go Now!!! #MrClydeIsDaBomb.Com The music was sultry and soothing... not to loud.. several patrons were there in meetings, small groups and yet it was still quiet enough to here a pin drop. If you are looking for a nice quaint Cafe or coffee bar... this is it!!! Go alone or bring a companion.

I checked this place out on here before telling my bestie that we should meet up there for brunch today - Saturday. Not everyone has brunch on Saturday, and when I saw Jazz mentioned on their website, I had to check it out. One problem, though - they didn't answer the phone when I called to see if I needed to make a reservation. My friend said, let's just head that way, it's halfway between us. So lucky that they weren't too busy when I arrived. I parked in the parking garage behind it and walked around to the front. They have a nice patio facing Singleton equipped with heaters! When I entered I found a clean and sleek coffee bar. Simple but nice black tables with black chairs, bright whitish walls & one dark green wall, lots of windows so it's nice & bright, jazz accents here and there. Straight ahead was a comfy sofa, above it a mural of jazz musicians painted on the wall. Next to that was small bar, connected by counter to the yummy sweets display, connected to the counter to place your order, then continued to the coffee bar. The man behind the coffee bar was a mix-master! Made my spiked latte soooo delish! Right inside the doorway was a beautiful white grand piano! The entertainer has a beautiful voice and even had the crowd sing along with him! Next to him was an awesome Christmas tree with some unique decorations. Not sure if you can make them out in my picture... Now to the service - how refreshing it is to actually be spoken to when at the counter! A smiling woman greeted me and we spoke about the restaurant and the menu and even the spiked latte I ordered. I felt so very welcome. You order at the counter & they give you a number and someone brings it out to you & takes away your dirty dishes, so when you are paying (at the time you place your order) don't forget to tip. As I went to a table to get settled, a couple asked me to take some pictures of them in front of the tree & then on a couch in front of a cool painting on the wall. Everyone was so friendly - well, it's a neighborhood cafe, not a chain who wants to get you in and out. The food - OMGee, the food was so good!! So I already knew what they were having because someone on here noted that they change the menu each week, so I went to their website to see what was on. My buddy & I both chose the 'Deck the Halls Waffle Plate' with scrambled eggs, fruit, waffles & sausage or bacon. It came with a small bowl of grits. Neither of us cared for them - they had a sort of lemony flavor to them. It was all very good and fresh. At $23 I thought it pretty steep, but factor in the great service and the live music - I feel it's a good deal. I look forward to returning - check their website, they have events as well.

The food was great, the coffee was fantastic, and the service and atmosphere was even better! My wife and I ordered the "Clyde" which isn't on the menu just yet, but is a house favorite and we were not disappointed one bit! We also got the pig-in-a-box sandwich and some gravy on the side a (the biscuit and gravy are home made) and that too was delicious. 10/10 would recommend.

If you are looking for a great brunch spot with great menu options, vibes and exemplary staff - Soirée is the place! I have been here for brunch about 3 times and it never disappoints! The owners are also very kind and welcoming! You can expect great live music on the weekends! I personally love the avocado toast, chicken and waffles, fish & grits and the coffee is top tier!

This place is beautiful!!! The atmosphere is so warm and inviting! The owners are so visible and helping out. Mimosas were complimentary—now you know I loved that part!! We came for brunch as well. I had The Ella latte— it was so good and I really wanted another one but that line changed my mind. We ordered the chicken & waffles which was delish! Didn’t take long to come either and we were starving! I also picked up the 5 flavor Bundt cake for my hubby and he approved! I cannot wait to come back to try more things and of course another The Ella!!! Whew, I’m thirsty right now! **A suggestion would be to make a separate line for coffee drinkers only; I know several people that left due to the long line.

Great vibe! Very clean. Free parking in the back. Friendly staff. Soft jazz music played in the background. Great to bring your laptop and work or have a casual chat. They have an outdoor patio & a piano. They have spiked latte named after Jazz players too! And Black OWNED!!

Had a blast with my Mother on Saturday at Soirée Coffee Bar...the food, drinks, music and overall atmosphere was superb. It's a peaceful jazzy vibe for sure. I can't wait to go back this Saturday to celebrate the release of Bemyfiasco's debut album release. Fun times. 🎵🎶🎵🍛.

Soirée Coffee Bar is super kewl. It’s a great place to get a locally brewed coffee in Trinity Groves. I don’t know who runs it or owns it but the staff and clientele are very nice and gentile. I recommend this place for a good conversation, some wifi to get business or school work done or just a nice place to relax while waiting for friends to show up. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Second time here and even more impressed than the first time. First time I had the Ella Fitzgerald iced latte (still the best latte I’ve ever had to this day), avocado toast, and banana pudding cheesecake. Everything was great and all the staff was kind and welcoming. This time, I got gumbo and grits from the brunch menu with a Billie Holiday iced latte. Again, they did not disappoint. What made this experience even better is that they somehow stepped up already great service. The staff was SO attentive and helpful, never dropped their smiles, or lost their cool during the brunch rush. I CANNOT recommend this place enough! Phenomenal!

This place is legit perfect. That's all. 7/6/25 : Still absolutely perfect. I needed not a single condiment for my perfectly seasoned meal. Hostess never misses, service spot on and music is always top tier. If you've not been, you're simply missing out.

This coffee bar is located in the heart of Trinity Groves. The food is amazing as well as the staff. I come here for brunch or to have a spiked latte! The environment is relaxed and quiet during the week for a nice study session. Definitely on my list for favorite coffee shops!

All I can say is wow! My sons and I went for a lunch treat and I was floored! The vibe was incredible. Wonderful staff and the food was well thought out and very tasty, not to mention surprisingly filling. We enjoyed the jazzy toast and tea and coffee. I personally had the avocado toast with heirloom tomatoes and that soiree sauce SET IT OFF!! It was delicious! And the chamomile tea was the real deal! My oldest son ordered 3 croissants they were so good; meanwhile my youngest son was thrilled witg his Cristo, (no ham). He said it looked as good as it tasted I would highly recommend it and will be returning to see what the night time vibe will be like!! I can only imagine with that baby grand piano! Go and have an incredible Soiree!!

This place is quite the vibe! I went on a weekday in the afternoon and it was quiet and pleasant. Got the ‘light as a feather’ and a honey lavender latte. Both were amazing. I def want to come back on the weekend for their live music.

Nice cafe with cool jazz and hot coffee. What a nice way to start the day in West Dallas. Good service with nice folks. Had an almond croissant that was buttered and griddled. Coffee was good. Overall good experience. Outdoor seating available.

I went for Sunday brunch around 1:30pm. It's self-seating but you have to wait in line to order your food. Fortunately, I was able to order drinks and dessert from the table later on. Outside of a 30 min wait in line, I had a great overall experience. I got the shrimp & grits, which came out quickly (even before our drinks did), a strawberry mimosa, a pineapple-orange mimosa, and the vanilla cake cheesecake. Love the variety of mimosa flavors and dessert. I wanted to order the red velvet cheesecake but they ran out. All the food was delicious and the mimosas were just right!! The venue is cute and jazzy, but it's very small so the wait is almost inevitable on the weekends between 11-3 pm. The servers were friendly and accommodating which helped make the experience worth waiting in line. I will definitely be returning, but I'll make sure to get there closer to 11.

Their food is absolutely excellent! I ordered the catfish and grits and it was seasoned very well! My husband and Fran ordered lamb chops, oxtails and potatoes. They were great! The lamb chops were somewhat small so we ended up ordering a second order of just the lamb chops. Waitress and host are very professional and helpful with suggestions! Live performer! Had a great time. Will definitely support this business. Drinks are good! Food is extraordinarily good!!

This place is absolutely Amazing!! Had a birthday brunch with my best friend here two weeks ago and I STILL brag about EVERYTHING just about every day to anyone who will listen! The customer service, food, desserts, drinks, and atmosphere was beyond great! The vibe was everything! Oh and the fact that Soiree is black-owned makes my experience even better! You will NOT be disappointed when you visit!

I was searching for a cozy spot with a good atmosphere to work on a project, and this coffee bar was perfect! The peaceful environment made it easy to focus and get a lot done in the three hours I spent there. The music selection, a blend of instrumental jazz and R&B, complemented the decor and artwork beautifully, adding to the relaxing ambiance. The space is surprisingly large, offering plenty of room to spread out and work comfortably. Plus, the smoothie I ordered was delicious and refreshing. I'll definitely be back for more productive sessions and to enjoy the great vibes!

My family and I came here for brunch, we were blown away. Soiree is beautiful, the decor gives classy Jazz vibes. The service was EXCELLENT and the food was even better! Our table got a little of everything from the brunch menu and we were all super impressed! I would 10000000/10 recommend this establishment to anyone visiting DFW or who already lives in the area.

Soirée Coffee Bar embodies the perfect vibe. It's a favorite spot for my fiancée and me. The cuisine is excellent, though the service is a tad slow. Nevertheless, it's outstanding overall, and the ambiance is unparalleled. A noteworthy gem is the down-to-earth owners, actively engaging with guests, taking photos, and ensuring a top-tier experience. A must-visit every time we're in Dallas; you won't be disappointed.

I had the pleasure of working a freelancing shift through Qwick and thoroughly enjoyed it!! While there, I purchased the catfish & grits and the waffles. Catfish & Grits were seasoned well and fried to perfection!!!! The waffles were good, but I'm a texture person, and they were a bit too soft for me (I did request for them to be well done - no biggie). If you're coming on the weekends, you absolutely MUST secure a reservation bc you run the high risk of not being seated. The walk-in seating is extremely limited on the weekends, and this is the only time they have live music. I went back the following day to meet my cousin for brunch, and it was packed out on a Monday! Ooo chile... the support is real!! 🫶🏾 I ordered a Caramel Frappe & a SEC Biscuit. That homemade biscuit was so soft that I had to eat it with a fork!!! It would not keep its form!! LOL! It was so good, though!! I came too late for the Biscuit & Gravy!! 😭😭 I'll have to come back on a Tuesday or Wednesday with the hopes that there are fewer people and I can grab a laptop seat. Perfect place to come work for a few hours!! Customer service is great! Please be patient bc it's a family owned-operated business with a small staff. The owners are super sweet as well as their staff! XOXO 🫂🥰

Everything was great. The hostess, Tory the waiter and Clive were very welcoming and lively. The food was incredible. Ain't no reason for chicken to taste that good. The shrimp and grits were tasty too. Definitely going back for the total experience. 5/5.

First timer! YES, a thousand times! Let’s start this review by mentioning this is a BLACK OWNED ESTABLISHMENT and it was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere, the vibes, the food, the live music, the service, I could go on. The system to place an order is a little out of the typical “norm” of ordering but it was all explained by this lovely gentleman/host (i’m assuming) Mr Derrick-Love a happy positive person. I ordered the Duke w/dusse- 10/10. To eat I ordered the Soirée Texas breakfast with grits. Wait time was about 25 minutes for two (not bad in my opinion) and I love going to a restaurant and the cook knows how to cook!. It doesn’t have to be overly salted or seasoned to be made well, it just needs to be made well! Reread that if you need to. ;) Everything on my plate including the side fruit cup was absolutely fresh and delicious! Not one complaint. Their was live music from a young lady named Rebecca Dena and she sang so well! Meeting the owner and hearing his story, whole ambiance was an absolute delight. Friendly people, good food and good music, what more can you ask for out of brunch on a Sunday! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you Soirée 🖤

Top tip: Make a reservation for weekend brunch The service and food was great. The saxophonist sounded good. Save room for the peach cobbler egg roll was delicious! Best chai tea with oat milk I’ve had in a while!

Tried a Billie Holiday today. It was light, smooth, delicious. You can tell they use a really good roast. Presentation and service were great as well. Atmosphere was inviting with adequate seating. Music wasn’t loud and overwhelming. Location was easy to find with plenty of parking. Great experience for a first timer. Will definitely return. Update: 2/14/25. 3rd visit in 2 weeks. Today I tried pig in a box. Delicious. Just like home made.

Had a great brunch experience with friends this morning! The staff were very friendly and inviting. Our server Ericka was so sweet and attentive. The food was great and I loved the live saxophonist. I can’t wait to return with hubby since this is the perfect place for a day date. I had the Rasta Pasta and a Louis Armstrong (spiked coffee) which was soooo good especially since it was rainy and a little cold out. I plan to try chicken and waffles next trip. The table next to me ordered it and the wings looked juicy and they were a perfect golden brown! My friend had the oxtail with grits and lavender mimosa. Soirée got themselves a new repeat customer!

Omg! I love the fact this is a black-owned restaurant. The atmosphere is amazing. This place is an entire vibe! The young lady that was signing has an amazing voice. The owners are nice and friendly. The food came out fast. It was delicious and flavorful. The food was delicious and flavorful. The homemade lemonade was gooooooood! Mimosas are fresh and will get you lit. The staff is friendly. The entire restaurant has a welcoming vibe. My family will come back and eat here again.

First time visiting and it was a really nice experience! We had reservations for 4, but at the last minute had another guest to arrive. Our table was ready, but there wasn’t another seat for an extra person. Luckily for us the table next to us only had one person and she gave us an extra chair. Our server said it was perfectly fine if we were okay with having 5 ppl at a table 4. She accommodated us which she didn’t have to and it was very much appreciated. I had the Lena Horne Lavender espresso with soy milk and shrimp grits.. DELICIOUS!! The service was great and we enjoyed the live music. Will definitely visit again.

Such a beautiful ambiance! The decor is classy and I’m in love with the jazz theme. I’d love to come at night because it is a sexy, classy spot and I’m sure it transforms beautifully. The staff was kind, courteous and professional. The restaurant was clean and the coffee honey is GOOD! I like coffee but I don’t always drink a full cup. I wished I had more! Go and see for yourself.

I had heard about this restaurant from multiple sources and what’s crazy is, I didn’t realize it was the restaurant everyone was talking about until I walked in. I had a group of 3 and we didn’t have reservations, but was able to come in and dine. It was a Saturday mid day (I highly recommend making reservations on weekends), but we were able to be seated. I loved the atmosphere plus the musician that was playing at the time. I ordered avocado toast with a side of fruit and it did not disappoint! Will definitely be back!

This place is such a vibe! The live music weekend brunch gives all the feels. Not only are you singing along but the food is off the chain! I had the Catfish and Grits (sans the sauce) and let me tell you! The catfish is perfectly seasoned and fried beautifully! The grits are everything and then some. Definitely the best catfish and grits I've had ever. The lavender mimosa is so good but let's discuss the Peach Cobbler Egg Rolls. I was pleasantly surprised with how scrumptious they were. They weren't overly sweet and seasoned just right.

I absolutely love this coffee shop! First time observed people spaced out in different seats being productive. Had both outside and inside seating both areas equipped with outlets for charging. Jazz music began to play around 12. Went on a Tuesday at 11 on a work from home day. Had a caramel frappe with almond milk and sugar free vanilla and it was very good. A total vibe. Classy & Clean👌🏽I will be coming back

A co-worker suggested this place, so when I came up from Houston to visit a friend, we made a point to stop in. WOW! Just WOW!🤯 Thought it was a rainy Saturday, it was all smiles and sunshine inside! The owners are kind, attentive- clearly passionate about their business and customer service!🤩 The decor and ambiance are fantastic! The food is PHENOMENAL- we had oxtail with grits and porkchop breakfast- my friend said the potatoes tasted JUST like her grandmother used to make em! Coffee was wonderful. It was just a FABULOUS TIME! I can’t wait to go back!

X

I came in for Sunday brunch. They only serve the brunch menu, you can’t order from any other menu. The brunch menu isn’t very big but the meals are generous and just enough variety for any Cajun food lover. Getting food was quite a wait (~30mins) but I would like to believe it is because they make it fresh and those meats we ordered are not ones that are made quickly. The carafe of mango mimosa was at a good price point, $25. The food was absolutely delicious 🤤 my friend had the pork chop dish and I the oxtail with grits. Those oxtails were to die for! The sauce with the grits. I will be back to try the chicken and waffles and everything else on the menu.

I had a great experience at this coffee bar. I had the chai tea and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Literally taste like it was made with love. 🌟🥳 **Absolutely Fantastic Dining Experience!** 🥳🌟 If you’re looking for a spot that’s not just a meal but a whole vibe, look no further! From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was electric and the customer service was on a level we didn’t expect! The owner greeted us with such warmth we thought we had arrived at a family reunion. 🤗 And yes, we even took pictures together—because who doesn’t want a selfie with the genius behind the deliciousness?! 📸✨ Now, let’s talk food. Oxtails and grits, lamb chops, and the peach cobbler egg rolls It was nothing short of excellent! Every bite was like a party in my mouth, perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. Seriously, I might have dreamt about it afterwards! 😋 The icing on the cake? They stayed open later just for us! Now that’s what I call going above and beyond. 🎉 If you haven’t tried this place yet, do yourself a favor and make it happen. Trust me, it’s a must-try that’ll leave you raving! 🙌🍽️ #EpicEats #RestaurantGoals #FoodieParadise

Soirée is fantastic!! We’ve been here before and had coffee but we just had brunch and can I just say… WOW. Service was amazing, the food was sublime (chicken & waffles, shrimp & grits, blackened salmon etouffee) the coffee (the Ella Fitzgerald, the Nat King Gole, Lavender Mimosa). The decor and vibes are beyond standing and the live jazz was the cherry on top of a perfect sundae. Cannot recommend Soirée enough, so so good!

Hey! Visiting from HTX! Walked in at the right time for brunch and live music on Easter Sunday! Won't He Do it!! The menu had a plethora of delicious options, it was so hard to choose. We wanted it all. For our dine in experience the ambience was energetic, live with music and just great vibes. We ordered the Chicken & Waffles, Catfish & Grits with oxtails on the side. Good southern comfort, 10/10 chef kiss!! For drinks we had the lavender lemonades soon good! Dessert was the peach cobbler egg rolls to go but when we demolished these soooo good! Highly recommend and def will be my go to when visitng. Thanks!

I stopped by Soirée Coffee Bar on Saturday, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely welcomed. It wasn’t crowded or chaotic just a calm, cozy space with the perfect vibe for a relaxing weekend start. The ambience was everything: live R&B music set the tone, creating a soulful and inviting atmosphere. I ordered the Cajun fried catfish, which was perfectly seasoned and crisp, and paired it with a Dizzy Trumpet though I swapped out the original spirit for tequila, and it was still spot-on. What really made the experience stand out was how balanced everything felt great food, great music, and drinks that were absolutely immaculate. I was recommended this place since I’ll be moving into the area soon, and I couldn’t think of a better introduction. I’ll definitely be back.

A group of us came here on a Saturday morning for brunch. Reservation is highly recommended. It was AMAZING! Everything from service, the food, and the live piano entertainment was on point. We had ordered several Lavender & Strawberry mimosas by the carafe. Those were great. Peach cobbler eggrolls were different and delicious. Oxtail-n-grouda grits were delicious, Blackened Salmon ettoufee was delicious & generous. Avocado toast looked amazing, and cajun fish & grits were good. We'll be coming back on a regular basis.

I am visiting Dallas for a conference and my cousins(local) and I met up for breakfast. They took me to Soiree. Though we did not have a reservation, we were able to be seated immediately. The service was amazing. The best mimosa I've drank to date was the Lavendar Mimosa!!!! It was very tasty. I ordered the catfish and gouda grits with side of breakfast potatoes, my cousin has oxtails and grits. All of the food was really good. We had the pleasure of listening to a saxophonist. I will love to come back!!

We were greeted by a wonderful greeter for our 1 o'clock reservation and seated almost immediately. We were there for brunch for my daughter's birthday. The staff brought us water and took our drink order within minutes. I had the Miles Davis which was delicious and my daughter had the Ella Fitzgerald. While waiting on our drinks the server took our food order. We both ordered Shrimp and Grits, it was a great choice because it was so flavorful one of the best I've had and I've had a lot of Shrimp and Grits. They give you a nice sized portion also. I wasn't able to eat it all. We really enjoyed ourselves and the atmosphere was great, there was live music by Nnamdi and he was wonderful on the saxophone. We will revisit.

We made reservations for Sunday Brunch. We didn't have to wait very long before we were seated. Our orders were taken promptly and food came out soon after, hot, fresh and super delicious 😋 We had lavender lemon drops and lavender mimosa, tasty. We had the chicken wings and waffles, shrimp and grits, fish and grits, and a pasta dish. All super delicious 😋. Will definitely return. Staff and owner were super nice and provided excellent quality service and food. A suggest maybe turning the speakers down a tad so we could also converse while we eat our food and be able to hear. The saxaphome player was excellent. The volume was just to high.

The experience was way over my expectations. The staff is amazing. Very attentive, friendly and diligent. The host was a bit rigid, but that doesn't seem to be his everyday position 🤣 The food was amazingx2. Fish and grits seasoned perfectly. The lamb chops were perfect. The chicken and eggs were a little under seasoned, but that bourbon sauce was chef's kiss. The waffle were so good. Especially the special. I will return with another crowd and try more menu items. I cannot leave out the music. The saxophonist had the vibe just right

I went on a Saturday for Brunch! Highly recommend making a reservation ( I was only accepted because I was a party of 1). Great customer service and beautiful atmosphere. I arrived before the live music but caught the beginning of their session. A tiny bit loud but I’m also a . I had the Cajun Fish N’ Grits with an Ella Fitzgerald, so so delicious! I will definitely be going back!

As an Austinite, we love to make sure to support local businesses where we visit. Black owned businesses especially! This place really takes the cake! The ambiance is stunning and the food is nothing short of spectacular.

Everything was great. The service top tier, amazing food. I had Catfish and Gouda Grits .. omggggg. The entertainment and ambiance was everything . I can’t wait go back.

A friend and I went for brunch and the food was delicious! I had the fried catfish and grits. My dish arrived hot and was seasoned perfectly. The live music was great and the volume was still suitable for conversing at your table. The strawberry mimosas were the perfect mix of juice and sparkling wine. There was ample parking across the street as well, which is so convenient when dining in that area. We did have a slight delay receiving our food due to an issue with their ordering system; the staff was very apologetic. Be sure to make a reservation; tables are reserved for 90 minutes. Great experience!!

(Sunday) I walked in not knowing what to expect. I was greeted at the door by a kind young man. They have LIVE music. The wait staff was wonderful. One of the owners waited our table. She was so nice and had a beautiful spirit. We waited a bit for our drinks but when we got them, they were filled to the rim and carefully brought to us🙌🏽. The food was hot and delicious….chicken was out of this world 🔥 The ambience was cool. The vibe was nice. I’d give them 5 stars and I plan to return and share to my friends a new coffee bar ❤️

This coffee bar was amazing. Highly recommend doing a reservation. I'm was in Irving this weekend and searched for a black owned restaurant. It did not disappoint on service or food. I had a bit of a wait because it was very busy. I had the catfish & grits, it was delicious. I ordered the peach cobbler rolls, it was chef's kiss also. The beautiful sister who told me she made the rolls, delicious. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area. Anyone debating on visiting this coffee bar, you will be glad you did.

10 out of 10 will definitely return. The service was great. Throughout our visit, multiple people came in and check to see how we were doing. It was live jazz music. And the food was so good!

So we came in from South Carolina for the Dallas vs KC game on Thanksgiving. Per usual, I needed some coffee so we searched for a black owned establishment and Soirée DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! The service was impeccable, the food was deliciously ON POINT, and the vibe HIT! Great experience. I even ordered my coffee wrong and they changed it without even a second thought. We ordered breakfast tacos (bacon and sausage) with potatoes, the Billie Holiday latte, and water. Even the water was good 😊 The portion/ price difference isn’t fair to the owner. It was a lot of food. I DEFINITELY recommend this spot for anyone coming to the Dallas area. Keep up the great work, Soirée! Feelin’ proud🙏🏾👊🏾🤩😋

Desiree at Soirée Coffee Bar is truly amazing. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a warm, genuine smile that instantly made my day better. Her customer service is top-tier friendly, attentive, and professional. She made sure my order was perfect and created such a welcoming, positive atmosphere. Thanks Desiree for your outstanding service 😊

The manager was so accommodating. We arrived from out of state with no reservations and he adjusted the seating arrangements for us to have a wonderful experience. Th atmosphere and ambiance was amazing. Food definitely 10/10. The concept of this place was an experience.

The food was good. The service was exceptional. I tried the Rasta pasta and it was very good spicy good amount of meat and I also tried their crown drink. I can’t remember the name of it, but it was strong. I end up getting two of them it was definitely worth the price that we paid. They got us in and out. I would highly recommend this place.

Love this place! The owners are true to the people and I love their heart for the culture. The food is bommmmbbb and the coffee (spiked caramel latte) hits right! I always get the lamb chops and waffles, with a side of grits. Their chicken is also good, along with the fish n grits. Definitely a place to go and get some food with good vibezzz!

We had an amazing experience at Soirée Coffee Bar in Dallas! The food was absolutely delicious — 9.5/10 and full of flavor. The vibe was beautiful and welcoming. Erica was a fantastic server — attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. The owner, LaFree, was incredibly warm and accommodating to all the guests, including walk-ins. You can really tell they care about the experience.

Brunch: The oxtails+grits and shrimp + grits are highly recommended. Please add more seasoning to the chicken and waffles. All the oxtails were gone halfway through the brunch hour but the owner was able to get us a small tasting. I will be back for part II of the oxtail showdown.

First time in and I will say,it was a really great experience. There was a wait because of social distancing and seating. This isn't a place you go for just coffee, but if you do call ahead for just coffee. Other wise you have to wait. Today was brunch all day day and there was a bourbon chicken biscuit, babe and son said it was alright. I'm here to talk about the shrimp and grits. My shrimp was thick and great. The sauce they smothered it in was good and hot. My grits had spots that were cold, which is why I gave a 4. I understand parts may be pre made, I just write my pros and cons. I'll definitely be back. The mimosas are only $2 but they're pre made. So, a little more juice than juju . Clean, beautiful floors and decor, and first come first serve on seats. So if you go with a group, have someone save a seat. There's alot of parking nearby, many colorful murals, and spots to check out.

So this was my birthday brunch with my son's Granny. I got a little turned around it's ACROSS from Trinity Grove with street or rear garage parking. The saxophonist was brilliant & versatile from gospel to ol' school and birthday shout outs..Our food was slow coming but fresh and hot, so worth the wait in my opinion! The fried fish n grits. Grits have 0 sugar but we only ate half. Nice size filets on top of the grits & gravy (no meat)..It was highly seasoned & this was my 1st time having gravy on grits - it's definitely a vibe for my buds..The coffee tasted freshly ground. The water was crisp and cool. Beautiful crowd. Families & couples both young middle aged & seniors..Girls out brunchs, birthdays, even a wifi bandit who seemed welcome & attended to. The seating was comfortable and modern..the check-ins weren't as frequent as I would have liked but it wasn't too bad. Clean bathrooms.. Will definitely be back for the dinner menu.. Make a reservation

The food was great. 100% would recommend the food. Shrimp and grits went crazy. But this place is a little too upscale for my taste. Online it looked like a nice place to sit and sip some coffee while I work but damn was this place expensive! It also felt like I was dressed under the occasion Imao lowkey thought I walked into a networking event. The live music was nice for the ambiance but not great to get work done in. 4/5 I would recommend but for a different occasion than just a regular coffee shop.

Good food. Great atmosphere. Nice spot to enjoy brunch and good music. Entire wait staff was great. Clover The Violinist supplied some great music.

We came on a Saturday for brunch. Very busy but you can still see the vibe they were going for. The pianist playing was a special touch. Small things that threw us off was the seating, unorganized order line, and the overall dine in process. They don’t accept reservations. But you can put something on the table to “claim” it while you wait in line to order your food. Due to the small space the line went throughout the entire restaurant that could make it feel cramped. The seats were not comfortable and the tables were unbalanced. The only thing I feel good about was the food. For the wait, it was okay. I get what they are going for, I just wish it was a bit more polished.

Had brunch here today and must say this place is nice! I ordered the Rasta Pasta that was very good. Food was served quickly and fresh. This place has reasonable pricing, indoor and outdoor seating, and live music. Service was also good. Will definitely be back to try some of the other food items.

Nice place, we went midday and had no issues with parking or service. I would love to come for an event or to try their brunch or happy hours. I recommend the Ella Fitzgerald latte. The ambiance was really nice!

Cool jazz inspired spot. The cashier was extremely friendly! Muffins were okay my kids enjoyed them I wanted the shrimp and grits but that’s only on their brunch menu so bummer. I enjoyed the mural showcasing some jazz giants it made for great discussion topics with my kids.

Saw this place online and decided to stop in. Erica was my waitress and she was amazing. I wasn’t too crazy about the grits though. Whatever sauce on it was okay and i think the grits were a bit over cooked. Service was great, the food and coffee was just okay.

Really great brunch! I got salmon etoufee which was a tad too salty for my taste but overall very good! Lots of drink selections for coffee and alcoholic beverages too.

Made reservations for a Sunday Brunch with Hubby for my birthday weekend 🥰. Beautiful staff, Bad customer service, slow bar and coffee area. 💗Hubby Food came out fast and lukewarm warm, (chicken and waffles) drinks (coffee and mix drinks) come out when you’re almost done with main course. If they work on the customer service, slow down on food (people will wait for hot fresh food) and improve the bar area it would be much better!! Loved the live music and the banana appetizer egg rolls. Won’t be back but gave it a try !

Parking is easy & the restaurant isn't hard to locate but My experience was very disappointing. 1. My friend and I onIy choose this location because we seen online they have live music on Sundays. We'll guess what??? They did not, as they stated the musician wasn't feeling well. (Which is totally understandable) 2. The service was 0/10. The waiter took our order & never came back until it was time for us to pay. I couldn't get anything I needed, napkins, butter or creamer for coffee. 3. I had chicken & waffles The chicken was burnt. And it tasted like it was fried in severely used grease. When I spoke to management about this issue they were justifying our experience by putting it on the fact that they were "short staffed". This restaurant has at most 15 tables and all of them weren't filled. I literally seen no excuse why my hard earn money went to waste. Especially cause I see other reviews that state the same thing. Sounds like an ongoing issue. Overall I wouldn't recommend this spot if you're looking for a nice brunch spot with good service, music, and perfectly done food with good portions . GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

The lamb chop breakfast plate, don’t expect to get full. The lamb chops were small but well seasoned served with 3.5 oz of home fries, and one slice of white toast cut in half. The chicken and waffle plate was basic. The fried chicken was brown on the inside which to me indicated the chicken was left out for some time and bled. The waffle was ok. No butter was provided to me to place on the waffle. No band was there. Lastly I couldn’t find this anywhere on the website that the coffee bar requires exact payment when paying in cash. So come prepared to use a card or have plenty of bills and coins. I will give them another chance next year. There is a lot of room for improvement from staff , food, customer service, to payment options.

Came here twice. First time we came here it was fine. They were not very welcoming but we did enjoy the coffee. We Decided to try it again today and I had walked in someone told me that I came in through the exit and told me to walk out and come in through the front which I thought was weird, I was already inside the building and I'm trying to buy an overpriced coffee from you guys so just decide to walk out and go somewhere else. Obviously it was an oversight on my part but to make it a big deal and ask me to go out and come in through the front is a fast way to lose business, I came in thought that same door yesterday without any issues. Maybe it's because I'm Hispanic and they only want blacks in there business but idk. Anyways went down the street to triumphs and had a better experience with welcoming employees

Went to this black owned business and it was nice and cute. The ambiance was awesome. Now for the cons…. Had a reservation for 8 ppl and only 5 of us were at the table conversing until the waiter brought waters over. The manager or owner was our waiter/waitress. We asked for waters and wanted to order right away as we had a long Friday night. They said okay then asked if we were waiting on someone else… we stated no and immediately the tables were moved were now 5 of us have to share a 4 top. It then took 23 minutes to bring our waters back. Got our waters another 15 minute wait to put our order in then another 21 minute wait for our drinks. The 5th person to our reservation was outside on the phone so we ordered without her. After waiting 20 plus minutes for anyone to come back she ended up ordering at the counter. Food came out in a very decent amount of time. We all 5 ordered the fish plate. 2 pieces of catfish, greens and Mac and cheese. Catfish was actually catfish! Hot and fresh. Greens were mainly stalks. Now let’s talk macaroni and cheese. As a business I can’t even believe they were okay with serving it to customers. It was hard and dry. No cheese just basically hard noodles with parsley. It has to be at least 3 days old. I was highly disappointed! THEY ONLY HAVE 4 FOOD OPTIONS DURING BRUNCH! WHY ARE THEY NOT PERFECT! Then when it’s time to go we were not allowed to split the ticket because we had a reservation of 8. Only 4 ppl needed to pay for their food as the 5th person ordered at the counter. This ticket needed to be split into 2 tickets only and they refused because we had a party of 8. If you want to listen to live music, drink and ppl watch great spot. 10 stars… Good and Customer service 0 Stars!! It

1. Service was extremely slow. We had to wait 20 minutes to order and even get drinks. 2. We got the fried fish plate. The fish was GREAT. The only thing that was good sadly. The greens were undercooked/hard. The Mac n cheese was dry. The cornbread has huge prices of corn inside. The only have 5 options to choose from. With limited options, you would expect everything to be great. 3. They REFUSED to split the check because we had a reservation. So if you come with a party of 4-8 people, EXPECT to pay on ONE ticket even though they don't tell you that before you order. 4. Again, service slow so we had to wait a long time for our check. *** The ONLY thing that makes this place a 2 instead of a 1 are the great drinks, beautiful decor, and live music. I recommend you do NOT come here. And if you do, only for some coffee/drinks to listen to some music.

The ambience was serving looks—absolutely stunning. That’s where the compliments stop. There was a wait due to a mix-up, which I was willing to forgive… until my lukewarm latte arrived looking like it had given up halfway through. The lamb? So dry it could’ve filed for divorce from the concept of moisture. Thank goodness for the potatoes—crispy, golden, and clearly the only ones doing their job. The scrambled eggs, on the other hand, tasted like someone whispered the word “flavor” from across the room. For these prices? I expected a lot more than vibes and disappointment on a plate.

Unfortunately , this would’ve been my first visit but I won’t be returning. Drove here after work last Friday 10/31/25 through crazy DFW traffic just to arrive to locked doors. With a note on the door outlining no more happy hour and new business hours. This was extremely disappointing as I was starving and looking forward to winding down after a long week. I’m sure all of your customers would greatly appreciate if you would update your website and advertising on social media as it STILL represents active happy hours and different business hours as of 11/4/2025. Disappointed to say the least.

Older lady at the door with the bald fade (owner?) kicked us out because we didn't have a reservation. She was at the booth on the phone and ignored us when we walked in. So we bought two drinks at the counter, sat down and received water from the server. About 5 minutes later she comes up and says the table was reserved for brunch but the place was almost empty. No greeting or offer to sit us anywhere else.
