First time trying this spot out and absolutely loved this decision. I was looking for a quick dinner that had teriyaki chicken. I ended up ordering the same thing the guy in front of me ordered. The beef and chicken. It was great! No hard chicken pieces, all tender. If I am in the area, I will definitely come back.
Yogi's is a great spot to have a chicken teriyaki bowl. Love supporting small businesses. I feel their prices are reasonable and their combos are great. Food is yummy. Plus they have Sriracha on the ready. Lol. It's worth a visit.
Tastes great! 👍🏻 I also like that this restaurant’s technique is to create delicious teriyaki chicken with NO burnt spots and NO black grill marks (aka burn marks), like other Teriyaki places. Almost all teriyaki restaurants have those black grill marks on the chicken, which are carcinogenic. Grill marks have heterocyclic amines (HCAs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) that are carcinogenic.
These guys have very good teriyaki, and I’m picky. They were very nice, and accommodating. This is a little place, with big taste. I finally found a good chicken bowl, again. I will return. Thank you
Very nice meal with good value. The real thing. Recommended.
Good quality, Fair price and healthy. Definitely try.
Best teriyaki in torrance! Flavorful sauce, tender beef, filling and delicious

Always consistent good food
The chicken and veggie plate is delicious 😋
1st timer and I would come here Again.
This place is great! Fabulous teriyaki plates, various bowls, delicious tempura, and traditional sides too. Awesome salads! Vegetarian friendly and fun for the whole family... I eat here regularly now and have enjoyed everything I have ordered. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for Japanese food on the go!
Great teriyaki bowls! The chicken and the beef are both great! The one thing that I wish they would do is add more variety to their vegetable tempura....maybe green beans or sweet potato, even zucchini would be good.
Staff is really nice, service was quick and the food is great
Love this place I come all the time on my lunch breaks & even brought my family they love it too. Service is always good very friendly staff. Teriyaki food is always good. They have there teriyaki sauce out so u can get as much as u want not stingy like other places where u have to pay extra.
Had beef and chicken bowl. Both are super tasty and portion is big. Beef bowl tastes like Korean bbq.
Omg first time here. Chicken/teriyaki plate recommended! Good portions and decent price !
They're probably a dozen teriyaki places in the Torrance Redondo area, but I always come back to yogis in my opinion it's the best and it's great value. The chicken is always tender the beef is always flavorful and it's quick and easy.
Love Yogis good place to get food takeout not everyone likes the same food but if you do love teriyaki then it’s a place to explore!
Vegetable tempura is so good, the beef here is amazing too. Quick, friendly, good food for a good price. Sauce is delicious as well
Love the grill chicken and beef. And the teriyaki sauce is excellent! And pair it up with some sirracha sauce. Bomb
This is family owned business. Delish teriyaki chicken/beef, my fav. Owner is very nice and friendly atmosphere.
Very good food. Terriyaki is bomb! Fast service. Never had to wait too long. Friendly staff.Parking is good and plenty.
Great lunch menu. Fresh and delicious. The combo plate was good. Fast service.
Great teriyaki chicken and decent lunch specials. Friendly staff and low prices keep my visits here frequent.
Yogis is a solid go-to spot if you're craving teriyaki bowls. You can dine-in, but it's mostly a take-out establishment. The prices have gone up (why not, everyone else is doing it. 😐) However, the upside is that the portion of the chicken 🐔 or beef bowls are generous when you compare them to others. $15 should satisfy most of what you crave. Yogis is worth consideration.
I have been to Yogi’s twice. I have been in search of a teriyaki restaurant and I think I found it. I have had the ribs, shrimp, and beef. The meat taste fresh and I love the mixed vegetables.
love love love this place. The food is delicious, and the staff is friendly. They are usually pretty fast! I love their 1/2 and 1/2 regular bowl and i get it with 1/2 veggies, which is just the right size for one person! Teriyaki sauce is just the right amount of sweet too.
This place is great. I've been picking up food here since at least 2005. The food is always good! My son likes the beef bowl, I usually get the teriyaki beef salad. The tempura is good too!
The best Teriyaki in town. The young chef is very friendly and professional. I took my time ordering but with a few suggestions from him, I had the most delicious bowl of teriyaki I’ve had in ages. They are going to be my regular spot for dinner.
Been coming here for 10 years the best chicken teriyaki bowls in town!! Taste like home cooked.

Good teriyaki
Delicious
Quick tastes good, and near Starbucks coffee. Nice location with plenty of chairs for a quick bite
Awesome lunch special. Lg chicken plate and drink. I will be going back again soon.
Have visited this location for a long time. Decent prices and food tastes good
Solid teriyaki shop. Service is quick and friendly.
Great for takeout or a quick lunch!
Some of the best teryaki chicken in town.
Great food and good value! The only reason I gave it 4⭐s was, it's a little funny 😄 I'm 6.3 and the owner kinda scares me when you ask for extra sauce, but still excellent service! 👌 Highly recommend it!
Very reasonably priced and large proportions. Has brown rice for no extra charge. Only thing is the regular large bowl is only Chicken and Rice. You have to actually ask for vegetables and or green onion toppings.
Good little Teriyaki place, they give you all the sauce you want and don't hassle you about it. Meat is decent quality portions are sufficient.
Nothing fancy, but a place to get your teriyaki fix. Yogi's is always fast, friendly, and good! I've never been disappointed. Enjoy!
I would call this place mediocre. The food didn’t taste bad at all, but it was also not a stand out. I’ve had better teriyaki at the mall the tempura. I definitely did not like because they gave me three onions and like two carrots, and broccoli. There wasn’t much variety. Usually when I order temporary from anywhere they give you like sweet potato and like some other vegetable that I’ve had, had same texture as a potato, but point being definitely had better tempura. The prices were good and reasonable. If you’re hungry and on a budget, definitely try this place. The atmosphere is rinky-dinky and needs a facelift and a renovation.
Tastes great. Fast friendly service. Clean dining area. Parking is a little tricky to get out. I was a little dismayed to find that the meat was only a thin layer on top of the bed of rice. A little more meat would have been nice, but I know we are in tough times.

Solid veggies and rice. Chicken was pounded thin so most pieces weren't moist. Rascals has the edge...
Large Lunch special was not like the picture. Lite on the meat but lots of rice.
It's good food at a really good price
The food is pedestrian. The place is small.
My delivery partner likes gal at front counter. Food is like all triyaki places, or Hawaiian places. Not bad
What I don't like about this place is that the Korean guys that answer the phone seem to know minimal English. I asked about the Yogi's Plate and if it came with Tempura Shrimp, and the guy said yes. Then I asked how much it was and he replied "Uhhh... 15 something" and didn't say if that was before or after tax or what. So I picked up the order and I was disappointed to find that the shrimp wasn't tempura, they were unbattered and naked. Plus, last time I had asked the Korean guy who took my order to not put any dressing on the salad. I was angry to see that not only did he leave the dressing off of the salad but he also didn't put any teriyaki sauce on the meat and rice at all! I barely had enough sauce from the extra cups he gave me on the side. Some people just don't understand when you ask for just the salad dressing on the side - not every sauce that comes in the plate on the side! However, I do like the teriyaki here even though there is some gristle on the beef. The meat is pretty tender and their teriyaki sauce is really sweet, which I like.

Didn't care for food or service.
My Brother took me there for my Birthday, I ordered the Beef Plate and he ordered the Beef/Chicken plate, we got our order and left and went to my van to eat it. I open up the bag and open the trays to give my brother his beef/chicken plate then grab mine and open it and it's not a Beef plate it's chicken. The old guy who works there can't speak English. He gave me the wrong order that costs less then the Beef plate, gave me a chicken plate and it made me sick because I don't eat chicken and this is on my Birthday too! 2 Star Max.

Don’t waste your money going to this place. I grabbed the rib plate for $19 the rib were OK but so little for this price? I substitute the rice for Mac salad and it’s the worst Mac salad I ever tried the person in the front did not let me substituted For riceso I had to order and pay extra for the Mac So dissatisfied that I went to this place

Not what it used to be....
Food was very mediocre. Vegetables weren’t fresh and tasted awful. Chicken was dry and hard. Terrible experience.
Men that work there old guy and one a little younger might be the owners seems like they get bothered every time I go inn to place my order which is usually around $20 or more not to friendly prices or kinda high and portions are kinda small! Food is pretty good but overall don't think I wanna give my hard earned money to a place like that!
Terrible, I do food delivery and walked in and guy ask what I want to order, I say pickup for doordash, he gives me a dirty look and says you have to wait even though pick up time was 5 mins ago, I say eta? He walks away and helps another customer. I leave. Black listed. Also it look like there was a flood, water everywhere on tile and no yellow caution cones.
Been going to yogis since 2009 in other locations around orange county. But unfortunately this location just gave me a bad experience. I told the cashier guy chicken rice and beef 10 times... he gave me shrimp with the order. I'm allergic to shrimp and said can you please make me the order again without shrimp. He said "you have to pay again". And than also said take out the shrimp and eat it!!! Done never coming again This happened on 11/5/2024
First ever and absolutely will be my last visit. Ordered tempura combo to go. 3 shrimp, 3 sweet potato and 4 onions. Not a big selection on the veggies. I get home (a block away) to find it Was over fried like fried chicken and shrimp smelled old. Smelled too shrimpy so I tossed it. Sauce was watered down. I am sick to my stomach just from the veggies. Up all night throwing up. No wonder cheap. Staff friendly. But I don’t recommend eating here.
