I don’t leave reviews very often, but I feel like after the food and service I received at Bonefish Grill I need to. The Lobster Ravioli was delicious and so were the crab cakes. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and a real class act. I think his name was Collin. Bonefish exceeded all my expectations and has been added to my family’s weekly restaurant rotation.

My first visit to Bonefish Grill was amazing. The bam bam shrimp was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. That could have been the main dish but we ordered their version of Dine for 2. We ordered the steak and salmon with potatoes and bacon macaroni. The steak was the only item that was under par and frankly have had better tasting. The pineapple martini was a smash hit as well as the cheesecake.

Sean was an amazing waiter. I came in with dietary restrictions and he was so patient and explained the dishes and we were able to find the right dishes for me. He came back often to check on me as well. Best server ever. Thank you Sean.

I truly enjoyed my entire experience!! The customer service was wonderful and attentive, while being extremely friendly and helpful. Then the dinner itself was spectacular! Enjoyed a Cod Imperial with the signature sides of Potato Au Gratin and Jasmine Rice, while my girlfriend enjoyed her flavorful Bonefish House salad. Our meal was packed flavor, especially the Cod Imperials flavorful seasoning and the nice smokiness of salmon from the Bonefish House Salad was terrific. Near the end of our meal we decided to have a Chocolate Lava cake, but sadly they sold out on it, but they compensated nicely with a different dessert on the house! And we decided to try the Macadamia Nut Brownie and it was amazing! Overall, the entire experience was exquisite and wonderful, I highly recommend others to try out Bonefish grill for a flavorful experience!

Today was our first time coming to a Bone fish and wow! Luis was our server at the Allen location and our experience was increased tenfold!! He was extremely attentive and was so funny and kind! We stepped in to such a beautiful space, excellent explanation of the entire menu, phenomenal service by Kevin and probably the best sea bass I've ever had..and we are very picky about seafood!! Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the salmon with mashed potatoes and seasoned vegetables, Mom had the skewered scallops and shrimp with side salad and Dad had salmon with spinach and green beans. We started with a potsticker appetizer with Sesame soy sauce on the side. There seasonal menu had a whole bunch of pumpkin themed items which very much interested in me. I tried their pumpkin pie cocktail and Dad tried their salmon with apple cinnamon chutney. I could have tried many different items on that list but alas we were full by the end of our meal. All in all very good experience, this is a very nice place where you could easily walk in either in casual clothes or in nice clothes and not feel out of place. They do have white tablecloths and very nice decor so it would be a great place for a nice date or a quiet evening with a loved one. I saw families there as well with children so the food was excellent and the atmosphere was inviting. They even had Fall themed decor around which I enjoyed. I wouldn't mind stopping here again when in the area.

My boyfriend and I Love coming to this particular Bonefish Grill because we always receive GREAT service and we are extremely satisfied with our meal. On Sunday, Oct. 6th, we attended their Brunch Pairing event, and once again, we found ourselves wobbling out of there, ready to go home and take a nap. They accommodated me and my non-bacon eating preference (blasphemy, I know)😂 The drinks paired well with each meal, but I had to take the final course home because I couldn't take it anymore. I have given this Bonefish a bad review in the past. Had a gift card and kinda dreaded even going after my last experience. When they say 1 person can make a difference. So true! This location knocked it out of the park today. The server and asst mgr were absolutely phenomenal! The appetizer I ordered was not avail. The asst mgr came out and apologized. Offered to give me the half order that did have at no cost and offered an alternative on the house. He was super professional with a great smile and genuinely concerned abiut our experience. Just loved that! Our server was attentive, kind, and was so eager to ensure we had a great experience and meal. The back up appetizer was not what was ordered and the asst mgr was back within 2 minutes with the correct one. He stopped by not only our table but almost all in the dining room checking on the customers. Give both of them a raise!! They completely turned me back into a Bonefish Raving Fan. I was so impressed by not only the check ins but the genuine care about the customers experience. Kudos to this location for really turning this restaurant around! Ill be back soon. Great experience! Our Server was Kat and she couldn’t have been any better. She knew the menu perfectly, offered suggestions and handled us with white glove care! We had calamari, to start out, which was perfectly cooked, with a yummy dipping sauce and lemon wedges. The filet & lobster, with broccoli and potatoes was an awesome choice. It was perfectly cooked, fresh and hot. We also had the Chilean sea bass, which was also amazing. We were catching up with a relative and the evening was perfect. I've only recently discovered Bonefish Grill and let me just say, WOW! It's quickly become one of my favorite places to dine. The service, food, and cocktails are 10/10. Every new item I try, I LOVE. And don't get me started on the Bang Bang Shrimp, which is almost a requirement upon walking through the door. If you want great service and even greater food, you know where to go!

I had family visiting from out of the country and decided to have lunch at Bonefish. We sat in Gabby’s section. She was very attentive and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. She was able to answer all of their questions and helped to guide them on what to select. She made them feel welcome and was very patient, even though she had other tables to take care of. During lunch, everyone was raving about their meal and how delicious everything was. I was the hero of the day for choosing Bonefish, but Gabby made that easy! We gave Bonefish another try after several years. We had a couple of poor experiences with food quality. The food today was excellent! We started off with the crab corn chowder and it was fantastic! Just the right amount of ingredients, spice, and heat. It paired very well with the crunchy bread and seasoned olive oil dipping sauce. For entrees we had the lobster ravioli and the Mahi-Mahi and shrimp. Both tasted delicious: flavorful and well seasoned without being overpowering. The portions were perfect for us too. An all-around great dining experience so we will definitely be back!

We dined as a party of nine for my mother's 84th birthday and had a fabulous meal with outstanding service. Every person raved about their meal. Kat did an outstanding job serving my chaotic and dietary-restricted family. Kudos to her for patience and skill in managing our table so well. OMG!! Love!! Love!! Love!! This place. Love the waitress, Victoria she was great. She took care of three women and did an excellent job. I ordered the blueberry lemon drop three times and they were so good. I also ordered the bang bang shrimp which filled me up and were so great, and well seasoned. This is a great place to go after work or date night or any night. You can get great food and drinks for the happy hour special but if you miss it to me the prices are reasonable.

Everything was really good other than the fact that we had to wait over ten minutes to get someone to come to our table, after I went to go get somebody and no one was even sitting at the host stand so I stood there for about two minutes before another waiter asked if I was being helped. otherwise I would have given five stars total.

I was impressed with the Bonefish Grill. After my son's graduation this weekend, we decided to try them out as he wanted seafood on his special day! We were not disappointed! The food was good! The ambiance was relaxing and inviting. The service made us feel like VIPs. As we were a larger party, they gave us a semi private room! We had plenty of space to celebrate! I am sharing my thoughts on the recent four course Wine dinner special they held. 1st off the food was, as always excellent flavor and the accompanying wine was very good. HOWever where I found it lacking was the service. I couldnt get my water refilled, no one was coming around to ensure that? The manager totally spaced coming out to review the 4 four wines we were tasting as part of the special meal and after the dinner she opted to hand out some flyers with the descriptions. Also, I had asked a waiter to swap out the dessert because I am not a chocolate lover and he never came back with an answer. Overall when I compare it to other restaurants Wine Dinner specials it seemed lacking in a few details.

On this visit the server was good & personable. Several problems did happen this time, bread was not offered & had to be requested. Restaurant was out of one of the plates ordered by our party. In addition it was out of asparagus which was part of one entree. Substitutions were offered & one selected, however, this was added to the bill as an “upgrade” selection. Server did get eventually get it removed after questioning the “replacement” due to the no inventory substitution.

I had a good time at bonefish grill. The rice was delicious as was the grilled shrimp. The mahi mahi was very dry and i couldn’t finish it and the broccoli had little taste. the ambience was very nice, restaurant was clean and service was great. i would recommend it

The only reason I only gave 4 stars is because the hostess had an attitude when we asked to be seated at a different table because we didn't like the location of the first one she brought us to. And she was also rude when my wife asked if she could please trade out the table candle for one that worked. Besides that small issue when we first got there, everything was excellent. Only other thing I noticed was the tables were not being cleared after guests left. It was an early Monday evening so they weren't busy and I didn't notice anyone having to wait for a table, but seeing uncleared tables for an hour seems odd to me.

The fish and scallops were cooked well. The scallop flavor was a little off. The major issue was the risotto, it seemed to be microwaved due to the high temperature and crust. It could have been due to it being forgotten and rushed. Our server seemed new but the management staff did step in and help with service. The rock shrimp was really good and a reason to go. But with all of the great restaurants here in Dallas it will be hard to want to go back.

Great for seafood lovers. Daily happy hour 3pm-630pm $7 limited cocktails, $6 wine, $4.50 beer, with $7 (calamari, mussels, poke) and $15 (Big Bang Shrimp, Nachos, Trio mix of appetizers) food. Overall happy hour: Not great for cocktail lovers, but great for seafood eaters because it definitely provides alot of seafood options. - $7 Mango Bourbon Sour: Was pretty sweet. Good for someone who wants a sweet cocktail, or ask for less sweet. - $7 Margarita: Only simple syrup is used. - $7 Calamari was the thin crisp type. SO thought it was okay. Anyone with a semi-extreme to extreme dairy allergy? Regarding the happy hour menu bites -- Fried items like calamari and cauliflower will have dairy. The mussels use lemon butter that can not be taken out. Bread and olive oil was complimentary. Staff were nice.

Fantastic service. Great atmosphere. The appetizers were really good. The Bang-Bang Shrimp was really good as were the Ahi Tuna Crispy Wantons. But...the entrees left a lot to be desired. The garlic mashed potatoes tasted instant with little flavor. DO NOT get the swordfish! It was dryer than the Sahara and tough as a boot. The 18oz ribeye steak was closer to 12oz and quite bland. The Dynamite Salmon, however, was very good. The martini flight was presented well, however the slices of fruit in the drinks were so big, they had to be removed just to drink. We spent over $200 for 3 people and it wasn't worth $100. Overall, I'd only recommend this place for the appetizers.

Weird experience; The hostess greets us asking how many in your party, we say 3 and then she starts typing and tapping the iPad it felt like time slowed down, it was super awkward. Was she texting? We just looked at each other,,,, waiting,,, looking around,,,, umm. Is she going to seat us? Finally she broke the awkward silence and said ‘right this way’. The waiter was similarly strange. Very robotic. Corn chowder wasn’t ready so they made us wait. It was bland and crabs was bits n pieces. The entrees were bland, oily and overcharred. Another bummer visit. It’s hit or miss here.

Food and service was good. We were a bit uncomfortable with the table set up they had. Not very aligned when eating. I hope they take a note of that. Drinks form bar also come a bit slow if you are not eating at the bar.

We dined at Bonefish Grill on Valentine’s evening with an 8:15 PM reservation. We arrived early at 8:00 PM and checked in by 8:20, being seated shortly after at 8:25 at a high-top table in the bar area. About 15 minutes passed before our server greeted us and took our drink and appetizer orders. I ordered water with lemon, and my wife ordered a Chardonnay. The drinks arrived without the lemon or a straw for the water — not a major issue, but part of a pattern that unfolded throughout the evening. Our appetizers, Bang Bang Shrimp and chicken spring rolls, came out fairly quickly and were both excellent. Unfortunately, we had not been provided silverware or napkins, so we had to request them before we could begin eating. We placed our entrée orders at 9:00 PM — I ordered the stuffed grouper, and my wife ordered the mahi-mahi. At that time, we were informed the restaurant had already run out of jasmine rice and asparagus. On a high-volume evening like Valentine’s Day, this was surprising, but we adjusted our selections and remained patient. At 9:20 PM, our entrées still had not arrived, and our server returned to inform us that the mahi-mahi was no longer available and suggested salmon instead. By 9:45 PM, rather than receiving our meals, we were presented with dessert menus and told the kitchen was significantly behind. Complimentary dessert was offered to multiple tables in the section. By 10:20 PM — over two hours after being seated and still without entrées — we decided to leave. The bar area had begun to empty, yet dirty dishes and napkins remained on the bar and vacant tables. The men’s restroom was also in poor condition, with trash on the floor and uncleaned fixtures. Our server appeared overwhelmed, splitting attention between the bar and his tables, and there was no visible front-of-house management presence to address delays or communicate with guests. As a former employee of Bonefish in my younger years, I know this is not the standard the brand typically upholds. This experience fell well short of expectations and reminded us of how consistently well-run the Florida locations are. This particular location would benefit from stronger leadership and operational oversight, especially on high-demand evenings. We had hoped for a special Valentine’s dinner, but unfortunately left disappointed.

My husband and I frequent this Allen, Tx restaurant. We noticed the lighting at the bar now is very LED bright, distracting and annoying. Especially at night, this lighting hurt our eyes. We mentioned it to the staff, and they said they have had many complaints. I asked if it could be dimmed but they said no. Please think about fixing this problem! See attached photo.

Food was absolutely horrible, from the taste to the presentation, especially for the cost. We were seated at small table for four people, while a couple was seated at a larger table. Go figure. That is a shame, since I've been there before and it was better 3 years ago.

The Mahi Mahi was overcooked and lacked flavor. The shrimp were good, The kids popcorn chicken were dry and overcooked. We wanted BBQ sauce for the burger, but were told they didn't have any, Mussels and side salad were the best part of the meal. Server was very nice, but service was very slow.

My boyfriend and I went to Bonefish Grill for Valentine’s Day, and unfortunately it was a really disappointing experience. We made reservations weeks in advance. When we arrived, there was a line out the door. We ended up waiting about 50 minutes just to reach the host stand, which completely defeated the purpose of having a reservation. Once we were finally seated, we found out they were out of multiple items on the menu. On a busy holiday like Valentine’s Day, I understand things can run out, but it felt very unprepared. To make matters worse, when my food finally came out, it was cold. After already waiting so long, that was extremely frustrating. The only positive part of our visit was our waiter. He was wonderful attentive and clearly doing his best in what seemed like a chaotic situation. He is honestly the only reason this review is getting any stars at all.

The only place good about this place is the ambiance but for the price too loud. The service is atrocious, borderline none existence. Our party was neglected for 30 minutes. We have to flag the waiter down to order. The food was ok. The salmon was good but the mahimahi was bland (the restaurant has the word fish in it and still can't cook fish). There were small potatoes that were uncooked or semicooked. I will not be back.

All I'm going to say don't come here on Valentine's Day. The food quality and portions were not the same. Much smaller plates. The Bass and the Salmon were over grilled. The server was too busy to keep our waters full. We did have wine with our meals. Disappointing experience as it was also our 30th Aniversary. Not to mention that we made reservations about 2 weeks before and still had to wait for about 45 minutes.

They massively overbooked Valentines Day. When we got there for our reservation, there was a line out the door. All the people there had reservations— we were all there waiting to even check in. Nobody came out to apologize or explain that everyone waiting had a reservation. We waited for 15 minutes and the line hadn’t moved at all. We left. We depended on this for our Valentines meal. When you make a reservation you expect to be seated. Of course everywhere else was booked so we had to pick up fast food and go home.

As frequent diners at this restaurant, my wife and I were disappointed with our recent experience. We traveled an hour for lunch, but our meal was marred by the absence of bread, a staple we enjoy. Our server's request to comp our dessert was rejected by management, leaving us feeling like just another check, not loyal customers. Update 2/23/26 I reached out to establishment via email as asked and haven’t gotten and response. Perhaps this is why the experience was the way it was due to not having integrity in handling the feedback.

Food was really nasty… I’m only giving 2 stars because the bread and olive oil is super good Trout - bland Butterfish - mushy, raw in the middle, bland Salmon - very overcooked and bland Asparagus - Bland Rice - VERY VERY salty all it tasted like was salt Spinach - VERY VERY salt all it tasted like was salt I couldnt even taste the spinach Update - I do multiple completely separate orders on grubhub because they are going different places to different people but for some reason they bag them all together and give one bread. I am paying separate delivery fees etc to have them separated but they do this. Won’t order from here again.

First time experience at this restaurant, my significant other and I were wanting a quick bite and I was in the mood for a great fish and chips entrée. Upon entering the establishment we were greeted with a warm welcome, and the host wanted to know how our day went, which was nice. The atmosphere is inviting and can be family oriented or an intimate party of two for a date night. Our server, Elmer was attentive and informative of the meal and the specials. I got the dragon fruit mocktail with Yuzu and honestly, I got hints of bubblegum instead of a refreshing mix of Yuzu/mint and dragon fruit (1/10) do not recommend this drink. The bread and dipping oil that came out for starters was amazing. The bread was crispy on the outside soft on the inside the dipping oil was perfect to pair with it (10/10). We also got the crabcakes which were nice but we’ve had better (6.5/10). I had the fish and chips entrée with a side of garlic mash. The garlic mash seems like frozen potatoes, no flavor(0/10). The fish and chips seemed to be so crispy however in the middle of the fish the breading was soggy and doughy… the fries were not anything special (1/10) . My significant other had the lime cilantro salmon. It came with a side of corn almost like eloté.. but everything fell short in all honesty … the salmon was bland and lacking flavor , the lime cilantro sauce did not make up for it (4.5/10). Overall we would not be back to this restaurant. But the service and atmosphere was great.
