Subway Ciudad De México Reviews
It's a great place to go and chat with friends over a beer. They have the best beer prices downtown (half a liter = $40, large bottle = $110). They don't have music, so you can talk comfortably. They give good service if you treat them respectfully. Their molletes, chilaquiles, and tortas are delicious. It's no wonder they're always packed on weekends.
A local legend. Fast service, cheap, surprisingly good food, spacious and open… What’s not to like?
Cool
Good food
The place is an old, very vintage house, it is spacious, there are pool tables and the patio is cool and ventilated, a large assortment of national and some craft beers, all presentations even caguamas, very good prices and they also have food like cochinita cakes, very delicious, the atmosphere is cool, they also sell coffee beans and ground coffee from various places and wines and liquors in general only to take away, they also have good promotions on primus and jabalí beer, the but is the staff is super distracted, the man with the hat is either drunk or very focused but he didn't notice us twice, another friendly guy came to ask us what we were ordering because he didn't write it down when ordering to take away, the guy at the bar reluctantly wanted to charge us separately for the consumption and what we took, he got angry because we changed a beer in the end, anyway, good prices and atmosphere, the only thing missing a little taste from the staff, san simple snack popcorn and pork rinds but they should clean them since we got old popcorn with sauce.
Friendly place in an eclectic old building. They sell bulk coffee - the Chiapas is the one we like and we'll buy a kilogram at a time. They also serve up some tasty (and spicy!) chilaquiles and have a selection of beers. Nice place to go to relax after walking around Centro Historico.
A familiar place to grab a beer and a snack, needs a little maintenance and the service is a bit slow but the pricing is great and you feel comfortable
The food is delicious, and they have several set menus. When I went, we ordered a liter pitcher of draft beer and a generously portioned arrachera steak! We were stuffed for only $130 pesos. There was only one waiter, which is why it's not a 5-star restaurant. They have a variety of very tasty mezcals to finish off your meal. Live music starts after 9 pm. Highly recommended!
The food isn't bad, the coffee is good. Although the waiters were attentive, the owners' behavior is rude and discourteous. It's a shame; this could be a great place!
It's a cool locals place. Food is cheap, variety of beers, but watch their billing. Overcharged by 100 pesos.
The restaurant is very nice, it's a shame they always try to add extra charges to the bill. It happened to me about two years ago and I thought it was a mistake, but the same thing happened a few days ago. When you question the bill, everything changes... Beware of that place.
The worst place I've been to in Querétaro. Dirty, overbearing owners who are borderline criminals. You have to beg for service. The bathroom is disgusting. The only redeeming feature is the food. The prices are low, but it's not about losing your dignity for paying too little. DON'T GO if you want to keep your peace. The Health Department should close that place down. I don't understand how they're still open.
Horrible
Very rude and vulgar service, not normal for this city - stay away!!
It's a horrible place. Everything is filthy and the chairs are broken. The bathroom looks like something you'd find in a small town. They have the toilet paper hanging from a string. The "waiters" ignore you until you speak to them. The food is awful, of terrible quality. It's incredibly dark. In short, I absolutely do not recommend it. I ended up there by accident, but I'll never go back. They should shut it down.
🛑 Terrible experience. Misleading advertising, price gouging, and aggressive owners. I entered the establishment, and the sign clearly stated that the craft beer was low and affordable. When it came time to pay, they tried to charge me a much higher price, without any explanation or prior notice. When I complained, the owners reacted arrogantly, haughtily, and aggressively, offering no solution. Instead of talking or acknowledging the mistake, they responded with shouting and condescending attitudes, showing a complete lack of respect. This is a clear violation of Law 24.240 on Consumer Protection: • Article 7: requires clear, accurate, and detailed prices. • Article 8 bis: mandates dignified and equitable treatment. • And Resolution 7/2002 establishes that the displayed price must be honored, even if it was a “mistake.” ⚠️ This place deceives customers with its prices and mistreats those who complain. This is not only unfair business practices, but also a violation of basic consumer rights. It has already been reported to the Consumer Protection Agency. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It's a disgrace.
