Second time eating here. Forgot to take pictures the first time and this one was after we but into it. But it was great both times!! We’ve had Georgie and Michael. And both were excellent servers! We got the fried cheesecake for dessert this time (photo) and it was amazing!!

Alicia and I enjoyed a late lunch at Cielito Lindo earlier today. We had tamale, burrito and enchiladas. Alma our waitress was nice. She explained to our satisfaction why the restaurant is called Cielito Lindo. The interior has a beautiful mural of Frida and other famous Mexican celebrities. We loved their food and we highly recommend as well their Cheesecake Chimichanga.

I’ve spent a fair amount of time in many cities in Mexico and this had a really nice vibe and decor reminiscent of my travels. The service was very friendly. We ordered the loco fries, ramen birria and carne asada. Everything was perfectly seasoned and the meats were nice and tender. I really enjoyed watching the corn tortillas being made fresh in the restaurant. It brought back great memories of walking the streets in Mexico and wandering into restaurants with the allure of freshly made tacos. This restaurant is a true gem and we will return.

Excellent food and drinks! Finally something delicious and close! We have gone for dinner twice in the last week and decided to check out their brunch this morning. Order their monster mango margarita for dinner (and bring a DD) and the mojito for brunch! My daughter and her friends LOVE their loco fries - so much so that they ordered them as an appetizer AND and entree 🤣😂. Everything is always perfectly seasoned and full of flavor, and service is on point. We never have to wait, but we also never feel rushed. Our dinner server even has our modified table side guacamole order memorized! It’s seriously so nice to have something other than fast food, fried food, and bar food close to home!

We were in Apopka visiting Rock Springs/ Kelly Park and were happily surprised at how good the food was at Cielito Lindo. We had carne asada and a chile relleno/tamale combo. All was obviously freshly made. The salsas and sauces are all made in house——no canned enchilada sauce here. The margaritas were great too. We had one classic margarita and one with tamarind—really tasty. Our server, Natasha was also great, so friendly and informative , and verified that all was food was made in house, including the tortillas. Prices are great also. A must try restaurant!

We did a dry run to find Cielito Lindo (“pretty little sky”) in advance of a group luncheon. It was an hour’s drive for us but through some pretty areas. We were greeted by friendly Miss Emily and when I explained why we were there, she was happy to let me take pictures. The colorful restaurant has two spacious seating areas as well covered outdoor dining. We ordered “Enchiladas (4) Mariachi:” one each - chicken, cheese, ground beef, bean topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato and sour cream. The menu is extensive with Appetizers, Soups & Salads, Burritos & Enchiladas, Chicken, Steak, Seafood, Vegetarian, Vegan, Especialidades, Sides, and Kids. Lunch is served from 11-2. Order sheaf and pick up from the “Drive Thru Pick Up Window.” Daily Specials are available at reasonable prices. Cielito Lindo is located off busy Rock Springs Road in a strip mall area which also includes a Publix. While the parking lot is small, additional parking is available adjacent to the restaurant. The enchiladas were delicious and presented and packaged nicely. It was worth the hour dry run to “pretty little sky.” Emily assured me that our group would not be disappointed.

The restaurant is open, with beautiful decor and plenty of inside and outside seating. The staff from the hostess to our server is nice, friendly, attentive and happy to answer any questions and give suggestions. We ordered the queso dip, the white enchiladas, mahi tacos and a strawberry daiquiri. Their chips and salsa are so fresh and tasty! Everything we ordered was delicious and flavorful and you can tell that their corn tortillas are made in house! We will definitely be back!

We sat down and admired all the changes, very cool, very fun and colorful changes. Really, that would have been enough but the food… wow! The food was amazing! From the crunchy perfect chips and delicious dip all the way to the Smoking hot entree, we were really surprised to get a 5 star dinner in little old Apopka! It is family owned and run and the tortillas are make at the front of the restaurant by hand!! Amazing! Going back with the whole family soon!

Cielito Lindo is a true gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a lively, welcoming atmosphere. The service was outstanding—our waitress was friendly, attentive, and had a smile the entire time, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions. One of the highlights was the fresh guacamole made right at our table—it doesn’t get any fresher than that! The lively music and beautiful décor added to the vibrant, authentic vibe of the restaurant. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we can’t wait to come back!

Marianna is the best waitress I ever had. Each of us had specific details to our orders which she accurately and happily fulfilled beyond what we asked for. She alone makes it worth coming to C.L. The food and atmosphere was a lovely topping.

Hands down the best Molcajete I’ve ever had , I couldn’t finish it sadly as it was just so much but it was delicious , the steak , the chicken , the shrimp , cheese , the broth at the bottom , paired with the rice,beans , guac and salsa . Good lord I tried and my taste buds were in heaven. For the price and ammount of food plus flavor it’s a 10/10. Also this is probably a dish you would order for 2 people as it’s more than I could happily tackle. The Sangria was good and I love sangrias , however bit more mixer than anything. I always enjoy a sangria with my Mexican dishes but unless you’re a fan the price for each cup is a bit steep considering. 8/10 Customer service , our server was amazing , so polite , attentive , great and welcoming demeanor , she was a gem. 10/10 for service. Overall considering the great pricing on the majority of the menu , the great service and the flavor. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone. Overall: 9.5/10

My son and his wife live about 10 minutes away from the restaurant and suggested we go there. It appeared cozy with an outside eating area. The menu has so much to offer for one thing. This restaurant has the best enchiladas, tacos, burritos!!! The green salsa itself is amazing! I love beans and nobody has the beans I've been longing for until my husband and I tried Cielito Lindo, the beans make a big difference!!! The atmosphere is very inviting and the staff is friendly!! Great service, good quality food. You can tell it was made hot and fresh. The nachos were good. Definitely would come back. I did to go for my first time but next I’ll dine in. The ambience looks amazing, I wasn’t sure who took my to go order but she was very sweet and kind. I did not get to get her name but I appreciate her for explaining the difference in between nachos!

We had such an amazing experience here! The food was absolutely delicious — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The margaritas were some of the best we’ve had! Had a business dinner here. I ate here about 3 months ago when they first opened, and the service/food was not very good. They've gotten their act straight, the service of food are much better. Will definitely eat here again.

Food was delicious and well presented. Service was friendly and fast. The only reason why 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the drinks. Drinks were pretty looking but lacked in flavor given the price.

Our first visit. We are new to the area and got to stop in finally. On a Taco Tuesday too! So gave me a chance to try one street taco for only $2. Also had the burrito which was yummy. Both the hostess and server were great. The music was great. Husband was movin and groovin, lol(it's the PR in him). My husband says it was good but not $83 good. A little more pricey than we expected. But then again everything everything is pricey nowadays. I recommend trying it out. It's a great option for good mexican food in Apopka.

Our server was a little scatterbrained, forgot about us a couple . was still very pleasant and polite, apologized, often This is our 5th visit and I have to say each visit has been better and better (food wise) this visit the staff wasn't as great as the other 4 times. But everyone is human and can have an off day right? First they bring is chips and two small bowls of salsa each with its own heat. Mild and spicy. We ordered three different plates and they did not disappoint.we left with full bellies and happy faces. The food was appealing to the eye, hot, fresh, either exquisite tastes. What I like most is the food wasn't Tex Mex it is authentic Mexican food.

Had a chance to try this restaurant out and overall, we will be back for another try. Atmosphere-really nice and felt clean and spacious. Booths were comfy! All staff very polite. Food: Chips&Salsa-one of the better restaurant salsas I’ve had locally by far. Reminded me of some of my favorite places up north. The chips were unfortunately not the best part of this…a bit bland and had an “off” taste but if you cover them in delicious salsa or cheese, not as noticeable. Queso fundido- a highlight! this felt a little expensive but was absolutely delicious. Cheese was perfect temp and chorizo was amazing. Loved the perfectly warmed tortillas-but definitely ask for some extra chips or spoon the cheese directly in your mouth (it’s worth it) Lunch burrito special (beef)-this was average but also better than many local places so still overall, pretty good. The beef itself lacked a little punch to it and felt more like a simple ground beef. But the burrito overall was still a good choice. I appreciated the tomatoes had good taste (were ripe and felt like good produce) Lunch enchiladas (chicken)-also a little bland for the meat but overall a solid choice Rice-good consistency and not too dry or too soggy Nachos (ground beef)-again the beef was a little lacking but the bottom layer with the amazing queso was fantastic! Fried ice cream-can’t go too wrong here! It was simple but good to try. As another reviewer noted and I wanted to see for myself, the bill showed two “totals”- one of you paid in cash and the other with the credit card (obviously they pass that 2-3% fee onto the customers). Service-great for lunch time! Our server was sarcastic and personable and had great timing with drinks, appetizers, desserts and even the to-go nachos so they were still hot when we brought them home. TL;DR-didn’t knock my socks off but was one of the better local Mexican restaurants and can only hope they continue improving as they are still within their opening phase. Will certainly try again (which says a lot!) and update if it doesn’t live up to expectations.

The food was fresh and well prepared. Mine was a little bland but everyone else in my party was in love with their meals. The service was too notch and I absolutely love the atmosphere. I will most definitely be back!

The meat was well cooked, seasoned and packed into this perfect sized lunch meal. My husband got the street tacos which were a bit dry, but otherwise fantastic. My only complaint was there were was a high pitched noise every once in a while, perhaps from the kitchen, that was bothersome. A timer maybe? I definitely will come back...or plan a return after a day of kayaking/floating nearby! What a great location!

Edit: Making my review 1 star. I went back a second time and was not impressed. I went because it was close by. This will be my last visit. Salsa was more like pasta sauce. I had the bowl this time. I ordered with chicken but it came with steak. There was no taste at all. Needs seasoning. We also had to remind server for our drinks. We ordered the way over priced Mojitos, that was very small and did not taste like and rum was added. The food was ok. Rice did not have a flavor and had peas and corn in it . My husband got street tacos with steak, chicken, and fish. He liked them but said the fish was overcooked and tuff. The salsa was so so, tasted like jar. The server was the best, very pleasant. We went for lunch, and the food came out quickly. However, there was hardly anyone there . We paid with cash. However, there is a service charge when using a card. I personally do not like this and, for that reason, will not be back. That is part of doing business and is also a tax write-off. The customer should not have to pay more for their choice of payment.
