My family and I have lived in the area, and visited this Applebees for years. Though the service and atmosphere have always been ok, something has really changed in the last year or so. This restaurant has been outstanding the last few visits! My kids and I came in for a late lunch today, and had the pleasure of meeting Katie, the manager. She was so kind, and engaged my children in a conversation about cats. They absolutely adore her, and I bet Applebees will be their first choice for dining out!

Go to place for appetizers! We had Sadie for the first time as a waitress and she was so lovely. She’s so bubbly with a beautiful personality. She always has a smile on her face. She definitely is the model waitress we all wish we always have! Food was great. Little bit of a wait for food but it’s a Saturday evening.

We’ve had fantastic experiences at Applebee’s from Granite Unlimited Inc! The food is always delicious, and the service is friendly and attentive. It's a great spot for a casual meal, and we highly recommend it for both quality and consistency!

7:00 PM - No line, Excellent Service, Clean Atmosphere, and the food was actually Fantastic. The bill total for 2 adults and 3 kiddos was $85, was that a shock, not really. This was probably the best visit to Applebee's we've ever had. We all had French Onion Soup, and it was great. Double Crunch Wings..excellent. The Hamburger that was ordered was perfect. Would I recommend...Absolutely!!! (I'll try to add photos later, phone issues..sorry)

Love this Applebee's. We go there every week after game night for apps and dinner. The manager Ryan is always on, and is always really good to us. They take care of us there all the time, would recommend to anyone!

Below is my last review and I tried again. We got a new server in training his name was CJ. What a diffrence. He was attentive and was truly wanting to give an A plus experience. Keep up your great customer service. Sometimes it's not the brand it's who represents that brand. Will be back for sure. Thanks for the great friendly service. After a bad day it does help. Omg. I don't normally get this kind of service..we waited about 45 mins before we were served even though there were at least 8 servers on... then I asked for my food and was asked what kind of sauce I would like... long story short, 3 servings never once was given my sauce. Then, when the plate was brought over it hit a drink on the table and went all over my lap. Was never offered another drink or anything. Very Dissapointed...

I cannot tell you how amazing my service was tonight. Everything was clean, friendly, atmosphere was comfortable and fun. Absolutely made my night. I was struggling to choose what to order (I have gluten sensitivities) and the manager Katie took time out to come to the table and list multiple options for me to select from with her own knowledge and insight on which will be best for me. To say I was impressed is an understatement. 10/10 will be back for my next girls night!

I ordered on 5/25, we placed an order online through the apple bees app. We did have an unexpected wait time for our food but it was erratically busy. While servers were running back and fourth the manager in the back was all by himself doing packing up all the orders. I just want to give a shout out to him for being so kind. He seems like a great manger!!!

My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite on our way to see family and we were pleasantly surprised! They were very busy, but were attentive at the same time, which is impressive! She listened attentively, showed genuine care, and resolved the matter in a way that exceeded my expectations. It's rare to see such dedication to customer satisfaction, and Katie truly went above and beyond to make sure my experience turned positive. We came in on a busy night to get drinks and apps with friends and we weren’t sure if it would be difficult to get a table but Katie the manager came over and accommodated us almost right away. The service was great and the food was fresh. Katie continued to check on us throughout the night and our drinks were never empty. This was probably one of the best Applebee’s I’ve ever been to. Clean and great vibes.

To go food was covered in caramel sauce from a different order and got all over my wife’s pants. The manager was fantastic and super accommodating. Made the situation right and we will definitely be returning.

We've been to this location twice now and both times have been a great experience! Our server on our last visit was amazing! I wish I remembered her name. She was like a mind reader. Every time we forgot something, she knew to ask. It was simple things like water with drinks and extra napkins, but still helpful. This location grills the chicken fajita rollup after assembling it, which doesn't sound like a big deal but it's actually awesome! I wish they all did that!

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and that’s largely due to the fantastic manager, Vicky B. Not only did Vicky B greet us with a friendly smile, but their attention to detail and proactive approach made a huge difference in our experience. They went above and beyond to ensure that everything was running smoothly, and their genuine care for both the customers and the staff was evident. I was particularly impressed when Vicky B personally checked in on us throughout the meal, making sure we had everything we needed, and even offering some great recommendations from the menu. It’s clear they take pride in creating a positive experience for everyone, and it really shows. It’s not every day that you encounter a manager who is not only capable but truly passionate about their work and their team. Vicky B turned a great meal into a memorable one, and I’ll definitely be coming back thanks to their outstanding leadership. Highly recommend!

Been to lots of Applebee's over the years in various states, but have to say this is my new favorite after visiting it several times now. The place can be busy but have never had to wait for a table. And even with most of the tables filled, the noise level is not too loud so a conversation can easily be had. One of our servers has been CJ, who is top notch. He's personable, professional, and seems to really care about all of the customers that he comes across. It's hard to pass up the 2 for $25, and this price point includes a sufficient # of tasty entrees, some with a slight upcharge, but that's OK. The food tends to come out quickly, and it's not unusual to have so much on the plate that some ends up in a take home container which makes the 2 for $25 even that much more economical.

First time visiting this Applebee’s and it was truly a great experience. We arrived around 2:00 pm and planned to sit at the bar. When we first walked in I was not entirely sure what to expect. Then Josy came from behind the bar to greet and seat us and immediately the atmosphere changed for the better. We decided to stay at the bar since we were really there to try the new Melted Cheeseburger I had seen in the commercials. From the very beginning Josy was everything rolled into one. She was our hostess bartender server and honestly felt like a friend. I ordered the new Woodford Old Fashioned which had not been on the menu very long. I joked that I did not want to be the guinea pig for a brand new cocktail and was ready to order something more familiar. Josy instantly put me at ease. She knew the ingredients and confidently made the drink and it was absolutely delicious. Her attention to detail really stood out. When there were no short cocktail straws she searched everywhere for them. I told her a regular straw was fine and by the time I ordered my second drink she had cut regular straws in half. Such a small thoughtful touch but it showed how much she truly cared. When we ordered food my wife asked for her sandwich without bacon since she does not eat pork. I asked if the sandwich would be cheaper without it and if not whether my wife’s bacon could be added to my sandwich. Josy made it happen effortlessly. Throughout the meal she checked on us often and made sure we were comfortable and happy. I honestly cannot remember ever being treated this well at an Applebee’s. When we paid and started to leave Josy thanked us for coming in and invited us back saying she hoped to see us again and it felt sincere. In a time when customer service can feel rushed or impersonal this experience was a breath of fresh air. I cannot speak for every employee at this location but if they are anything like Josy then this team deserves major praise. Josy is a superstar and should absolutely be leading customer service training. To top it all off the food was delicious and the restaurant was spotless. The Apple Valley Applebee’s truly set the bar and Josy is the reason we will be back.

We had an overall great time here. Our server was friendly but obviously working the tip. We asked for various things, and he routinely forgot or took a long time to deliver. Our food was good, and the atmosphere was also good, but when it comes to the server, I want authentic.

Ava was amazing. Sweet attentive and was very helpful. We did the all you can eat special $15.99. The garlic parmesan chicken tenders and Asian chicken tenders... sooooo good. Hubby said the BBQ ribs were really good too. He also did the Buffalo chicken tenders...spicey..in a good way. We both had the breaded shrimp. They were good but could be a bit crispier. We really like the updated atmosphere and lighting.

I personally approach most sit down as being as good as you make it, meaning if you're willing to customize your plate, you'll generally have a good experience. So how about cleanliness and staff attitude then? Cleanliness I would rate average. Staff I would rate as excellent, anyone who's worked food knows what hard work looks like, and they certainly work hard. Staffing seems like the issue lowering this businesses score more than anything else, not enough hands to get all the work done.

Picked up online order, carside to go. Ordered burger with fries and extra pickles. Let me tell you they DELIVERED with the extra pickles. Not only did my burger come with pickles, I got and extra side cup packed full of extra pickles. It was great! Most places only give you a few extra. Very happy with the burger too. Only downside the fries did not seem all that fresh. Somewhat soggy and rubbery. Also got some mozzarella sticks and the Oriental chicken salad. Portion wise, definitely worth the money. Overall, pretty happy with the quality and service. The waitress that brought our food out was very nice as well. Unfortunately didn't catch her name. I would absolutely eat here again!

As usual, the service here is good, and the food was great this time around... This location usually does have great, consistent food quality. My only gripe is they serve Pepsi products.... (some people probably like that... but for me it's a huge negative...(queue the violins))

AppleBee’s cozy ambiance makes it a perfect spot for a relaxed dinner. The Bourbon Street Shrimps and Chicken was flavored-packed delight, and the staff’s attention to detail made the experience even better. A definite go-to for comfort food with a twist!

The staff was friendly, but the food was later than their estimated time promised for our curbside take out order and they didn't pay attention to the provided vehicle information and had to ask our names for the order for which we were waiting. The food was delicious, though.

Large mainstay chain keeps me coming back. May not have that “made from scratch” feel but overall quality makes a decent meal at a reasonable price. Soft padded booths, chairs and tables decorated with local and National sports memorabilia makes this a step above the average sports bar. Has a comfortable feel. We like to take advantage of their on-going 2 for $22 deal, with a choice of appetizers or Caesar salads and 2 entrees. First was a good portion of their honey barbecue boneless chicken wings. In the eyes of a wings connoisseur may not pass muster but we find them enjoyable. Our entrees were the always-go-to Oriental Chicken salad and the never-tried-before Fiesta Lime chicken. On the Oriental Salad, a good portion of crispy breaded chicken tenders over a bed of fresh Asian greens, rice noodles and almonds tossed in an Oriental vinaigrette. A breadstick comes with it. Fiesta Lime Chicken is an ample size zesty lime glazed, grilled chicken breast smothered in tangy Mexi-ranch and melted cheddar cheese. Served on a bed of crispy tortilla strips and a side of Spanish rice and house made pico de gallo. Good flavor with a little kick. Collin was our go-to-guy and he was on his game. Good food, good prices, good service.

A place where you can enjoy the food because you didn't see it being prepared. The food is tasty, but the restaurant is kind of gross. There were particles floating in my water when I swished the ice around with the straw. That was a huge turnoff. Garbage and debris around the floor. The employees were personable and friendly, but she was touching the food with her thumbs when she brought it. I didn't mind because they have a handy hand washing sign in the bathroom, but I know that would bother some people. Prices are reasonable. Plenty of parking.

We entered Applebee's and had a very short wait. We were seated at a clean and comfy booth. The server took our beverage and app orders quickly. Soon afterwards we had drinks and a sampler of appetizers. The spinach and artichoke dip and chips was tasty. My family enjoyed the buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks, mini quesadillas and celery too. My husband really enjoyed the shrimp and steak. The rice was cooked well, yet needed more flavor. My son and I thought the burgers were delicious. The fries were good. The lettuce was iceberg, which my daughter and I don't like as much. We prefer a greener option. My other kids liked their yogurt and strawberries, mac and cheese and taco. We had a great meal and experience overall. There are several televisions with different sporting events to watch for those interested as well as background pictures of the Vikings and parks in the area etc . .

Our visit tonight was....mediocre. Waiter got Our beverages right away, ordered our dinners fairly quickly, being a special was kind of disappointing, deep fried shrimp was good but not very hot, fries not very hot either. Waiter came and we did a re order he said the kitchen was really busy, but that took twice as long as the first order and once again not very hot. I figured it would be hotter because of length of time. My re order only had 8-9 pieces of shrimp, not impressed. Restaurant was maybe 1/2 full....busy, not! Not a great night, but that happens once in a while!

Short staffed and poor service. Some people had cold food. The girl that seated us was unhappy to be there and gave hateful looks when arriving and leaving. We got up to look for a go box for 1 burger. No one ever checked on us or asked about our food.

We enjoy coming here because food has always been great, it's close to home, and our servers are generally very kind, however it feels like just about every time we are here we are waiting forever even for the first "hello, welcome in"/ first round of drinks. Many times we will be one of like 4/5 tables so it's not very busy when this happens. I just wish we had a bit more consistency when interacting with our servers

Today we celebrate our niece who passed away over a month ago and she used to work there and today would have been her 21st B day. . Very thankful to the staff who helped honor her and celebrate her day.

I was shorted a couple of wings, receipt said 10 but I received 8. Food was lukewarm. The price paid ($22.10 after tax and tip) was not worth the quality. Ordered from Applebee’s through Grubhub.

My burger was literally burned black and tasted like coal, they where out of broccoli and brought green beans and didn't say anything at order, asked for water 2 times before they brought water

We stopped for dinner one night on the way home. Drinks were good, made as ordered. We had the mini won ton tacos for an app- they were great. I got the nachos, meat was dried out and over cooked. Like maybe it had set all day or been microwaved. It was dead hard. The guacamole was good on it, chips seemed homemade. My hubby had the burger, meat was very good. But the bun was so dried out, it cracked in 4 pieces. He couldn’t even hold the burger together the bun was that dry out. We told the server and she just shrugged…..🤷‍♀️. Clearly wasn’t her concern.

The broccoli chicken alfredo pasta was very dry. It wasn't as creamy as I'd like. This was disappointing for $25. But the wait staff was nice and friendly.

Had the 9.99 Chicken Sandwich meal today and chose the grilled chicken option. The sandwich tasted good with the exception of the heel of the bun being toasted on the wrong side. It was toasted on the bottom instead of the white inside of the bun. It made the heel crunchy and hard. Fries were good but a small portion compared to other visits.

Waited at least a full hour before food was delivered and it was only some of the food at a time with long waits in between. When my food finally came out it was cold so I politely asked them to reheat it. Wasn't an issue and our server, Melissa, was very nice about it. That was another hour and a half wait without food. Some of the tables around us were having issues too with not being served and long waits while people in large parties were coming in after us and they would be served right way and got their full table food before many of us. One waitress was extremely rude to the table behind us but the waitress who served us, her name was Melissa and she was truly a sweetheart. The actual manager on duty was nice and apologetic as well. Just disappointing as Ive never had this happen to me at Applebees.I will be back just let down with this particular experience. They had suddenly gotten busy and I will admit, we had gone out to this location at a bad time, it was one of the few places open later during a winter snowstorm so Im sure they weren't expecting the place to get as busy as it did. In the end the manager was able to compensate several items which was nice.

My wife, child, and I were at this Applebee's on Saturday night 03/09/24. Of course we expected it to be busy as we had gone during dinner so that isn't the issue. We got sat right away, which is nice, and quite honestly unexpected as we thought we would have to wait. The host said they ran out of high chairs. Right after she told us that, a busser had commented that he could go grab one that is done being used. The host continued to say no we don't have any more. Both of them went back and forth in front of my family, us just standing there, watching them argue about the situation. We then get sat and all is great (busser brings over that highchair even)! I ordered a blue lemonade, however it just came as a blue drink with no actual lemonade in it (guessing they were just out of flavoring and i got unluckiy which happens sometimes). My wife ordered a perfect margarita that apparently comes with chips and salsa. Well we didn't realize it came with chips and salsa as no one told us when ordering and it wasn't until after our main entre of food came out (after ordered appetizers) that a different server came out with the chips and salsa. We refused them as we didn't know it came with the drink. The server continued to try and force the chips on us, not paying attention to how close she was holding them to our son (year and half old) my wife tried to warn her but our son got ahold of the plate and almost caused a mess (quick hands by mom caught him in the act preventing the whole plate from potentially falling on our child). In-between all that the service was mediocre. Forgot drinks half the time and if the margarita came with chips and salsa why didn't they come out with the drink? Or at least inform the guest it was coming? My wife wanted to watch the MSHSL Hockey championship game on a TV near us and asked the server to have the channel changed. We had to ask twice for it and as she had gotten the manager to change the channel we could hear the manager questioning her and being rude to the server about it. I'd say if your server comes to you and asks to change a TV channel for a customer you should just do it with joy and a smile on your face and not act like your server is the one that wants it changed. We are finishing up our meal and I wanted desert. Before our server came back another manager came to our table and with no introduction or context, rudely asked to see a coupon for a dessert that we have yet to order at the time that we knew nothing about. I told him we didn't even order desert yet but he continued to try and see a coupon. Our server then told the manager he had the wrong table. At this he just huffed off without so much as an apology for the intrusion. Long story short don't go to this Applebee's when it is busy. It was very apparent that there was no structure and it was every man for themselves. It is just chaos.

This review was from awhile ago but I really don't know what is up with this location but food quality and the way its cooked is not at all like other Applebee's ive been too. the location over in north suburbs the same menu but the food is not at the same at all. I usually get the steak and shrimp with parmesan cream sauce and green beans instead of broccoli and this location is just not good.

We had a party of 6. Sad to say this but NONE of our food was hot. The place was not busy. Our waitress was too worried about the bar than our table. She never came to refill our drinks. When spending over $200 on our bill, we should've at least gotten our drinks filled one time. Very disappointing 😞

We dine here on Saturday April 6th. The host was unhappy and lazy. She gave no welcome smiles to any customer who came in. We asked her for a high chair, and her automatic response was, "we might be out of it." We looked around and saw no high chair in use. After we settled at the table for 10 minutes, we decided to walk up to another staff member, and she was happy to bring a high chair over right away. This staff should be the host instead. The host is the very first image of a restaurant to customers. Having been in the restaurant business, the manager should notice this and remove this host right away. This unwelcoming experience could be avoided. The table was sticky when I rested my arms on it, a sign that it was not cleaned. Overall, service and atmosphere were depressing, but the foods came out to be good. And this this what matters most since we go to restaurants to eat. I hope the management team reviews this comment and takes positive action to fix up this place. It's sad to see a restaurant with good foods and location got ruined by 👎 staff.

Applebee’s is usually one of my favorite restaurants, but this location was terrible. Upon entering, we were greeted with a friendly host who told us we had to wait because he didn’t know how to seat people. Yup, seating people at an Applebee’s was just too much for him. Luckily, another host finally arrived who greeted us with an unenthusiastic frown and we were seated. However, the first host was now our waiter. Like I said, he was friendly, but he sucked at being a waiter. We had no condiments, no napkins, no silverware, and the guy just straight up disappeared after giving us our food. And, he got our order wrong. We asked for a cheeseburger with no pickles and no tomatoes, we received a greasy burger lathered in pickles and tomatoes and hair. HAIR IN FOOD IS DISGUSTING. It was super long, too. Once we removed the pickles, tomatoes, and hair, the food was alright kind of. But, it wasn’t good enough to just sit there afterwards all night, which is what we would have to do if we left our fate to the waiter. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all (surprise, surprise), yet the guy pretended we didn’t exist. I envied the other tables with better servers and I felt bad for everybody who had ours. I don’t think we will be returning to this location. Pro tip: keep going here, save up all the hair you get in your food, and make a cool wig.

I don't like to complain, but unfortunately, they deserve a bad review. My Mom & I got the two for $30; she got the 6 Oz steak & I got the 8 0z. Her steak was fine after I had got through about half of mine and most of that was gristle that I had to spit out then when I got to what looked like would be the better part of the steak it had a big tendency in it. At that point I had had enough and said something to the waitress she got an attitude saying I had eaten half of it so I had to defend myself & point outthe gint pile of meat that I had spit back out in my plate. A minute after the manager came over, apologized & said she would take it of the bill and talked me into getting another one to take home. We'll she never took it of off our bill. I assume it's because she gave me another steak but I would have preferred that it had just been taken off if our bill. Our family has been coming there since they have opened but that will probably be the last time I go there. This was supposed to be a special lunch. My Mom took me out as a thank you for all the assistance with her medical issues; but between the bad food and poor service you ruined it 😔. With what you charge for food these days you should at least have good customer service.

My wife and I dined here on 3/21 and we had a disgusting experience. We ordered our 2 for $26 items and when we got our salads, they came out in DIRTY bowls. It looked like ketchup and other food residue was all over both our bowls. We asked to speak to the manager and told him what happened and he said he would talk to the dishwasher about the incident…but why not talk to the people plating the food too because anyone should’ve been able to catch how atrocious the “leftovers” on the bowls looked…I regret not taking a picture. We decided to leave and enjoy a meal at Rascal’s instead.

Not happy with the server i had. Wasn't very friendly or attentive. The restaurant was not busy at all. They might have had 10 tables in the whole restaurant including the bar area. My party of 3 ordered and waited a good while for our food. Didn't think anything of it since everyone is so short staffed but a table of 5 that came in about 20 minutes or so after my table ordered and received their food way before my party of 3. My server not only got my order wrong but never asked how the food was or even asked if we needed any refills. After we finally got our food and i was getting ready to pay i paid by card and didn't leave the tip on my card since i always use cash, the machine at the table asked if i wanted a receipt and i selected not to get one. The server decided to bring me a printout of my receipt total with it showing no tip on the card. I informed the server i had already paid and the servers response was "i know" super snobby than handed me the paper. The tip i was going to give even tho he didn't do his job went down drastically.. people need to do better. If you don't like your job in customer service please find something that doesn't have to deal with the public!

This was the last time we will come to this location. The evening started off with the host being extremely rude. There seemed to be two hosts, a male and a female. And they seemed to be offended that we walked in and they had to pause their conversation. The male host snatched up a few menus, motioned to us to follow him, then literally threw the menus down on a table and walked away from us without saying a word. We mentioned to the server what had happened, our server grabbed the manager and had us tell her, and after that the rest of the night every time the male host or the female host passed us, we got dirty looks, grunts, and scoffs. Making the visit extremely uncomfortable. The meal ordered I asked for a lettuce cup due to a wheat allergy. The sandwich came out with the bread instead. It wouldn't be a big deal, if this didn't happen every single time. The kitchen staff doesn't seem to care about order alterations, or allergies for that matter. I sent it back to the kitchen, obviously I couldn't eat it. And it took forever to get a corrected one. My family had nearly finished eating before the correction came out. The server was super sweet and apologetic over it. Honestly I am used to this happening, but paired with the hosts, it just was not a good experience. The other odd thing was cold butter dip for the shrimp my husband ordered. He's never had cold butter dip, so it was odd it was so cold. Though his steak was cook to his preferred liking. And my daughters sandwich was also correct. We actually drove to this location from a few cities over because, despite the kitchen mistakes on switching buns for lettuce cups, the service is typically amazing. But that pair of hosts sealed it for us tonight. I mean I can look over a mistake on a bun. But when your staff goes out of their way to make you feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, there's an issue. Oscar and Addison are phenomenal servers, get your front of house and kitchen to support your servers a hell of a lot better.

Apple bees has always been my favorite place to have a nice bite to eat and a drink. Recently it's gone downhill. Not sure if it's because of low staff, management or corporate messing with the food budget. It was a busy Friday night so didn't expect the world. But, my partner and I ordered the two new holiday plates. His Salmon had BBQ sauce and my medium rare steak was a tiny hockey puck. Manger asked if I wanted a new meal because I would "pay for it anyway" I said no, just a new steak. Patiently waited and it came back microwaved. Definitely disappointed and believe apple bees just isn't the place for me anymore.

Worst service I have received in probably 10 years. I travel often and so my expectations are not high. But man, Applebees in Apple Valley really disappointed. Just could not get the waitress to come back to our table. We tried the service button on the little table device. We tried waving at her. Nothing. Of course I ordered the all you can eat entree and that didn’t work out when you can’t re-order 🤦🙂

Horrible service. Waitress ignored us. Had to wave her down for a single drink refill even though the place was almost empty. They had at least 6 wait staff who did nothing but stand in a group around the host desk and giggle. The mash had a bitter after taste. I asked for no tomatoes in my dish and you guessed it tomatoes. Not going back.

Waited over 25 minutes for a server to even acknowledge we were seated while 3 others literally looked at us. Another five for waters to show up. Was able to play an entire game of cribbage before our food came. The waiter took our silverware so we had to finish eating our chicken wings with knives because he didn't bother to come back. I would highly recommend the Buffalo Wild Wings that conveniently shares a parking lot with this establishment.

Ordered drinks just now. Paid for drinks and left. Insanely way too cold and I had a long sleeve shirt and pants on. I grew very inpatient in the freezing cold while the waiter took 10 minutes from the time the drinks got dropped off to the time we said lets pay for the soda and drive to raising Cane's because hes not coming back any time soon to take our order like we just have all night to wait for wherever he went. Id prefer wanton tacos..but was in duress in frigid freezing cold.

They don't acknowledge you and are very slow at to go orders. Came here again and they are so slow. They should offer a soda to delivery drivers who are waiting.

Honestly so ridiculous how long they make you wait for car side, multiple times pretty sure chicken was raw and undercooked.

We came in for happy hours chicken wings and saw the ad for 25cent boneless wings so we decided to order that. 1st there’s a catch we have to order minimum of 5 which was not advertise and some pieces were very tiny and it was considered one piece. We brought it up to the manager attention but he wasn’t going to switch it out for us. We order 20 piece and we ask him to take 5 back since it was not worth the 25 cent but he wouldn’t let us so we just kept it. It was misleading advertisement. Was it Jerky or Baby Back Ribs? Writing a review is something I find extremely important as a consumer. I read countless of reviews to determine if I’m going to purchase a product or visit a place or restaurant. I think we owe it to each other to give an honest experience to help the other consumer make an educated determination if they will visit or buy a product. I avoid petty complaints like “the windows outside were dusty” or “the hostess didn’t smile at me.” While those things are important, I focus on quality of service and food. So let’s begin. I was at Applebee’s in Apple Valley MN and my server Melissa A was a delight that evening but that is where it all went downhill. I ordered the Baby Back Ribs, and to say it was ‘Horrible’ is putting it lightly. When ordering Baby Back Ribs, the first thing that comes to my mind is juicy and ‘Falling-Off-the-Bone’ tender with a delicious BBQ sauce. Well they got the sauce correct but the ribs was by far the toughest I have ever had…hence the jerky reference. My ribs were so tough that I didn’t even finish them. To add insult to injury, two ladies seated behind me also ordered the Baby Back ribs and experienced the same horror. After a couple of bites I could hear their complaints and engaged them in conversation. Attentive Melissa A, our server, was right there to put out the flames of disappointment as best she could and offered replacements or a do over. One lady opted for a new dish and the other a do over. I completely lost my appetite. I paid my bill, wished the ladies well and gave Melissa a little more than 20% tip because she did her job well and tried her best to make up for the horrible meal the 3 of us experienced eating the Baby Back Ribs. Was it jerky or Baby Back ribs? It didn’t even taste good enough to be considered jerky but it darn sure was tough like it. FAILED! Pros: Melissa A our server. The Manager on duty that took $10 off our meal ticket Cons: Probably the worse Baby Back ribs I have ever tasted Recommendation: I would hate to penalize an entire restaurant for one meal but in good conscience I COULD NOT recommend this restaurant based on my meal experience. Hopefully they relieved the cook from his/her duties and hire someone else, but I won’t be visiting them again.

Update: I did get really bad food poisoning so don't order any of the apps if you do have to go thats mostly what I ate. Sam was my server and she was super rude and ignored me the whole time. Our food took forever, I had one drink the entirety of my two hour visit while she was refilling my friends drinks, my food was cold the two steaks we ordered were hot though one of them was cooked improperly, our waitress put our food on someone elses table then grabbed it and brought it to us, and she would run off the moment I tried to ask her for anything. I was dining with friends and she was focused entirely on one friend and if he wouldnt have paid she wouldn't have been tipped its ridiculous. I understand working in the restraunt industry especially because I did and I know you go off of tips but atleast serve the people who are paying a little I have a terrible headache and I'm not recommending this one to friends next time go to Chili's they will make sure everything is OK and actually serve you is what ive been shown here which is a shame because I live so close to this apple bees. Food was so bad I'm actively throwing up not even a full 30 minutes after leaving save yourself the trouble and the food poisoning and eat somewhere else like Chilis.

Terrible customer service , front hostess didn’t say hello when we walking asked how many then brought us to the table and just walked away. Server didn’t refill drinks and never came back to offer boxes for our leftovers . We just paid at the kiosk .

We arrived at 9:30 p.m. and ordered three drinks, but one of them was never served. We also ordered three appetizers, and two of them were forgotten. Our main course was not served until over an hour later, and when it finally arrived, the shrimp was still cold. There was basically no service at all — no one brought the share plates, and asking for water, it was never refilled before we left. The whole experience was terrible.

We were told the wait was 20 minutes when we arrived at 5:30. Waited 26 minutes to get in the door when 5-6 booths and tables were opened and ready for people. Missed half price apps time by 1 minute (mind you we were seated at 5:56), manager refused to honor it and when asked about all the empty tables, he gave me an attitude saying the kitchen was already too backed up and do I want to back them up even more? Incredibly unprofessional way to talk to a customer. We could have at least been seated and gave the opportunity to order knowing the extended wait time for food. Not to mention letting the lobby fill up with people waiting and no where to sit. Pathetic experience and the attitude the manager gave is unacceptable. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt because it was busy, but it was a complete letdown. Appetizers came out cold and after my wife already got her entrée. Then my main dish showed up, barely warm. I took one bite, we stopped eating, and just asked for the bill. Totally disappointing. Won’t be back, and definitely don’t recommend it.

I took my kids (12 & 15) out to eat last night. My daughter picked this place, and I can say without a doubt that the waitress (I believe her name was Andrea) was the RUDEST waitress that I have ever met. She made it clear from the beginning that she didn't want to serve us, she literally walked away when my 12 year old son said "Umm" when she asked what we wanted to drink. She didn't come back for, at least 10 minutes, and said "Do you know what you want to drink yet?" with a really pissy attitude. We ordered our drinks and the kids asked for appetizers, we each ordered an appetizer and she immediately asked for our menus. I explained to her that we were going to each order and entree also, and she asked with an annoying tone if we knew what we wanted. We ordered and she walked way. I watched as she engaged with other tables and it was a TOTALLY different vibe. She welcomed them, laughed with them, checked on them, asked if they were enjoying their meal, etc. She did absolutely NONE OF THAT with us. If my daughter hadn't wanted to eat there I would have left after the drink incident. This lady was unprofessional, disrespectful, and simply rude for absolutely no reason. I will NEVER eat here again, and I am telling everyone in my Union about my experience and telling them to avoid this place at all costs. I wish I could give this review negative stars.

If negative stars were an option then I would rate this negative stars. I don’t even know where to begin. My family visited this Applebee's location, expecting a decent meal, but what they got was an utterly horrific and life-threatening experience that no one should ever have to endure. It started when my brother-in-law began choking on his steak. Instead of rushing to help or even attempting to assist, the staff stood idly by, as if it was no big deal. My mother-in-law immediately started performing the Heimlich maneuver, but in the middle of this terrifying situation, she had to *beg* the staff to call 911. Let that sink in – they actually hesitated and didn’t seem to care at all about the gravity of the situation. When 911 was finally called, the staff misinformed them, telling emergency responders that my brother-in-law was "breathing" when, in fact, he was struggling to get air in. The situation was so dire that even the hospital had difficulty removing the food lodged in his throat. What’s even more infuriating is that after this near-death experience, Applebee’s still insisted on *forcing* them to pay for the meal – *before* they left in the ambulance! They had to leave in a rush, terrified for my brother-in-law’s life, and yet, the restaurant treated them like nothing more than a transaction. This kind of behavior is absolutely *unacceptable* in any customer service environment, but especially in a situation where a person’s life was at risk. To not only ignore the gravity of the situation but also to demand payment during a medical emergency is beyond comprehension. This will absolutely be escalated to corporate. If they can’t even manage a basic level of compassion and professionalism in the face of a life-or-death scenario, I highly doubt they deserve any customer’s business. We will never step foot in an Applebee’s again, and I strongly advise anyone else to reconsider before they risk their health for a mediocre meal and abhorrent service.

Raw boneless chicken. We went in around 3:15pm. There was a big group about 30 people (what the server said) ahead of us. We didn't mind. We saw the group and understood there was going to be a wait time. We didn't have much time after receiving our food so I packed the boneless wings to go. I took a bite and noticed the chicken was chewy. Im so sad I swallowed the chicken already before realizing the chicken was raw.
