Cafė de la Sera Arona Reviews
This place looks like a lounge bar from outside, also its name starts with Cafe.. but it serves also very good food. We tried the seafood risotto and the guanciale, they were delicious and large. We had the typical Piedmont desert Bonet which they served with a different style than usual. Prices were also moderate.
We had a fantastic meal here - very interesting, original and extremely tasty sharing plates - not just your usual standard tourist offers. Very friendly service and plenty of options for vegetarian/pescatarians.
Very good quality food, cooked to perfection, great presentation. An ideal Sunday lunch. The atmosphere was pleasant but it was extremely quiet, only because the Arona food festival was on. We had the Beef Cheek with Mashed Potatoes followed by the Chocolate Pudding, which was divine! We would definitely recommend and we will be going back again soon.
The staff is super. I liked the cheerful atmosphere. Customer experience extremely positive. They serve tapas with drinks. And good quality tapas.
Great wine great service nice and cozy, friendly owner, took his time to share the wine options with my partner.
Very nice place, food and atmosphere were great.
A wonderful little cafe and restaurant. I relaxing place to just drink and wine and eat some snacks, or to have a full course meal. The food is absolutely excellent there. I highly recommend it.
Truly one of the best meals I've ever eaten. Bakala croquettes to start, light, crisp beautiful flavour. The the braised beef ravioli in a bone marrow reduction. Just wow!!! Simple but rich and compl…

Good food, cozy place
The best for cocktails in Arona.
The place is beautiful but the price of a lunch for two persons during the week is far too expensive! Two points only for a nice atmosphere

Tourist trap. Very EXPENSIVE dishes +4 Euro cover PP. great location, on the water. Food was too salty Do NOT go there
Pricey and not as many options on the menu
A little disappointed with our experience here. This is a town where restaurateurs need make no effort to put bums on seats, and sadly, they don't particularly. I leave this review in the context of the over-touristy location in which the restaurant is found... Of perhaps twenty restaurants at which we ate in Italy recently, this was the only one to apply a cover charge to our 1yr old daughter. Waiters were somewhat sulky and at home really only in Italian (elsewhere we found ample French, English and even Spanish), although we were able to make do. They knocked off for a smoke without proposing a coffee, which we had been keen to order. The food was fine, but not as good as can be easily found in this part of Italy, and the bill was well above average. Toilets were also pretty disgraceful, with broken doors and the like. It's a beautiful spot by the lake, but you can't credit the restaurant for that.
Very average dishes. Just a good presentation with tasteless result. The quantity is minimal like the taste. If u want to visit for the view of the lake is all right but for food there are much better places in Arona. Also not well organized to bring the 2 secondi piati at the same time. The wine list is not that bad though. You need to improve or change the chef
Had the Risotto The risotto itself was tasty but the portion served was way way too small Come on guys, at least serve enough to warrant what we paid Service was slow and staff were not really user friendly, maybe get some more wait staff….
