Bella Vista is a nice restaurant with a lake view in Arona that serves italian food (incl. pizza). The location is nice, next to the lake with a beautiful view. I visied Arona in a cold and rainy day in October, and the view was amazing. The service was ok, the food was tasty with normal portions (we ordered pizza calabrisella, grilled fish platter, grilled tuna, mixed salad and french fries). Also prices are reasonable for the area, a little bit more expensive than the other restaurants (maybe because of the lake view). Some minuses because: - they are serving only seafood and fish from the sea (frozen), although they have the lake nearby - we thought we would eat fresh fish from the lake - you cannot sit at the first row, near the lake, if you don’t have reservation - not so friendly staff, despite the fact that they don’t have many customers in October

I had Bronzino gratinate, It looked good, but the fish was too dry. It is a charming restaurant with a beautiful view.

Staff was very friendly. The food was good but not the best we’ve had in Italy. A small paid parking lot is available close to the restaurant

A very good quality restaurant in a great lakeside location. I did dine early but there were very few customers. A shame because my experience was good.

This is a nice restaurant in Arona that serves italian style dishes and pizza. The location is superb, you have the chance to have your meal next to the lake and enjoy the beautiful view. The service was not the quickest but it was good. The food was very good (we ordered fritto misto, spaghetti alle vongole and a pizza) and the portions were normal. The staff was nice, they also speak english. We found the prices reasonable for the area (check the photo of the menu). All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant. I deducted a star for the following reasons: - They didn't let us sit at a table of the first row because they said they were only for reservations - There was no option to choose what kind of wine you would like to have if you ordered only a glass, but they do have options if you order a bottle.

Very good service and dinner. I had here my girlfriend's party, she and I enjoyed a lot each course and the manner of the staff. Then I came here again and the service could have been a little faster... but in the end we had another pleasant dinner

Our wine glass had a small hair in it. No big deal, got a new glass. Grilled vegetables consisted of barely cooked eggplants and zucchini, that's it. Arugula salad with cherry tomatoes, boring and un-inspired. Pizza was decent but was served barely warm. Vongole pasta was good but had sand and grit. Classic tourist trap. Good products lazily put together. Service was distant and un attentive. Our only sub par meal in Italy. You can do better...

Unfortunately didn't love it. Porcini are on a promotional menu for the week and were not well cooked from frozen. Asked for white wine and got a super sweet prosecco and my friend had an Aperol Spritz which was overly sweet and not made with Aperol. It's the first time we have not been able to finish our drinks. We had hoped for more and are not eager to hurry back. Apologies to the restaurant for not leaving a better review.
