I live in a small town so KFC is a treat for me. It was very good!!! The flavor reminded me of when I was young and would get a bucket. It was very fresh and spot on!! The service was great! I love stopping here when I am in town. It never disappoints!!!
Excellent ! It's been over 20 years since going into KFC. I was really pleased at how nice it was. Very clean. The staff were very polite and kind. The chicken tasted wonderful. I will now return as a regular customer.
Hit or miss sometimes. 90% No problems at all, which isn't bad for fast food joints.
Ordered a 16 piece family meal to go with being was told it would be 20 minute wait if I wanted all crispy so I did half and half ordered it with double mash and double fries. Fries were stale and Iuke warm and potatoes tasted like chemical. I asked for a mini chocolate cake and they gave me a whole sized one then lastly ordered a drink and the total came out to $66…with that price I feel the meal should of been mostly fresh and hot. The inside of the restraunt was clean however the food experience aspect was disappointing.
We went Thursday Oct 7th at 4:15pm. We didn’t eat because we left. I stood in line 15 minutes and no one even acknowledged us.The staff literally walked by us several times and acted like they didn’t see us. They may have been busy or understaffed but that is no excuse. Good customer service would be to say hold on just a minute we’ll be right with you. I don’t want free stuff or handouts. I won’t go back.
The customer service was lackluster. The 2 piece chicken i ordered had been sitting under a heat lamp for more than an hour and looked like it had been cooked in old grease. The fries were old and stale. The biscuit was hard. Mind you I came in at 5:15pm during dinner time. I will not go back. No good chicken in Bastrop, TX.
I haven't been to this KFC in 13 years and it used to be excellent. Now the drive through looks rough(hasn't been mowed in a while. So I ordered the 4 pc combo with slaw and a side of mashed potatoes, with "diet Pepsi ". I get to the window and she hands me my bag and a clear bubbly drink. I said what's this. She said your star(?). I said I ordered a diet Pepsi "oh I heard star" She replied. She dumped my cup out and refilled with diet Pepsi. I pull forward and opened my box and it has French fries...slaw,mashed potatoes.....French fries ...I can see the resemblance. Like star and diet Pepsi. I pull back around and tell her my order is wrong and pull up. She said what's wrong, I said I ordered slaw and mashed potatoes. Sure enough "I heard French fries " She goes to the manager and points at me and thows her hands up. The manager looks up my order(I didn't get a receipt) and said "you only paid for one side" . I said okay but I didn't get the one i asked for and I did ask for the extra, but since I didn't receive a receipt I have no way of confirming the amount. She sighed and said I'll have it right out. Some young man brought me the sides.i get to the hotel and there is no spoon 🙄. Should have went to Popeyes like I was going to.
😳😲😞 disappointed 😞☹️ I wanted to finally try the louisville or Kentucky hot chicken, so....... I requested the louisville or Kentucky hot chicken it looks nothing like the picture my pickle looks old, they were out of fries until tomorrow, which means"we're closing and we don't want to make you any cause we already started cleaning" people do your best serve your best to the end. Tho I did go near closing. Never again!!! So to bed hungry for me 😩😞 😒😔
Horrible visit lobby floor was littered with used napkins table tu tops dirty. And then the chicken was awful tasted like it was over breaded with old flour. And the size of the pieces almost 12 dollars and the chicken legs are barely bigger than a ketchup package. Employees appearance left as lot to be desired also. Won't go back to that location.
I am giving 1 star because zero is not allowed. Manager is so rude and disgusting. I complained about an order that wasn’t served right and they told me not to come again if I didn’t like the service. This is ridiculous
If I could give 0 stars then I would but first let me say this, the level of unprofessionalism is ridiculous at this location. My husband turned down some old, burnt, chicken and asked for a fresh batch. The so called manager took it upon herself to tell him not to come back. Now I didn’t take offense to this because we most surely will not be back, but that was absolutely ridiculous to get mad when a customer asks for fresh food. Do better KFC.
Chicken was dried old, potato wedges dried was only able to eat one. They would not answer phone so I can complained. Maybe the chicken was left overs will not be going back $30.00 .
Ordered through the KFC app, which said my food would be ready on arrival, but when I got there, I was told the chicken had just started cooking. Then I’m told to receive a refund I had to call their corporate office. Disappointed by the inaccurate timing and lack of convenience. Not coming back.
I ordered a 16 piece family meal on my way home which is an hour away. I received legs and thighs besides 2 wings and 2 breast (which was supposed to be 4 of each part). Also i ordered original chicken and they gave me crispy. I am highly disappointed. This location used to be so much better.
Ordered large meal online. Went to pick up. Was waiting at pick up window and a young guy opens the window, says we don’t open for 5 more minutes, then closes window. I had to laugh. He waited the 5, opened the window and then I asked size of large side servings. He showed me and I decided to buy one more of each potatoes and cold slaw. He asked I drive around front. I did, he brought out my bag and I specifically asked if the two sides were in there. He said yes. They weren’t. After I reached my lunch location one hour away I found out they were Missing. After sparse lunch I called and they said they do not give refunds and I would have to come and pick up sides if I wanted them. This was about three hours after I first picked up my order and purchased sides and had already had the family lunch . Lousy service. Won’t be going back.
I don't believe in posting reviews because they don't seem to do any good. My young daughter is my inspiration to write this one. Earlier this week we stopped in to eat. The worker threw my food down on the counter in front of me. We sat down. The chicken was greasy and tasted old and the french fries were cold. I took two bites when i heard a female employee yelling at the top of her voice and using profanity, out of the drive through window at someone ,in the parking lot. This disturbed me and scared my young daughter. She said to me "Daddy did i do something wrong? Is she yelling at me? " I reassured her that no, nothing is her fault and she isn't in trouble. I quickly asked someone if they knew what was going on. And was told that it was the manager yelling at an elderly couple who's RV broke down and that they were blocking the drive through. I looked at my daughter who now had tears streaming down her cheeks. I got her up and threw our uneaten food in the trash as i walked out the door We got in the car and my daughter was still crying and said "Daddy I'm scared, Is that mean girl going to yell at me again." Once again i reassured her. I was curious as to what was exactly going on. So i slowly drove my car in front of the building. I saw the RV with its hood open. I didn't see anyone standing around the RV, in the parking lot or in front of the drive through window. The RV was pulled over to the side with lots of room with a clear unobstructed path to the drive through. I could still hear the manager yelling and swearing at them. In todays world with schools, churches and businesses being shot up we need to use as much diplomacy as possible. I feel that this woman's actions could of put her employees and customers in unnecessary harms way with her unprofessional, lack of thought and hot temperdness. I pray that this never happens again and that the owner of this KFC fires her.
Food was good, other than the nuggets. Staff was rude and snippy and didn't listen. And just through the food down on the counter. Girl taking our order half listened and had an attitude the whole time. We didn't realize that the kids meals didn't automatically come with fries so we went up and asked after we got our food, and we're told "it's not my job to order for you".
1/3/25 @ 11:00am. I'm not sure what's happening at this location, but I agreed with the other reviews the chicken was soak in grease. One of the pieces was old. I used lots of paper towels to pat out the grease. I should not had eaten it. I was sick all day, but I didn't want to waste my money. I should had asked for a refund. This was the last KFC 🍗 that used to be good. Hard to find good fast food restaurants, plus the food is expensive 😫
The French fries were half empty and so was the mash potatoes. The chicken disgusting. I asked for fresh chicken and looks like they pick the worst one they could.
The tenders were over cooked, not crispy at all and non of the meals come with a cookie any more, yet the prices continue to go up. I didn’t bother to ask for new chicken bc everything in the hotboxes looked overdone as well. The mashed potatoes were barely warm and the corn was old and dry, like it had been microwaved Also, they don’t even have honey or butter for the biscuits🙄
If I could leave a 0 star rating I would. Extremely rude. Gave 1 chicken tender in the meal and the chicken bowl was full of grease. Stopped going a while back for this sort of thing. Had hoped it was better.
I will never come here again the worst KFCI have ever been To. The chicken was extremely greasy and you can tell it's been there for longer or a was just old and as you can tell by the pictures this is what $20 gets you. You get old resi chicken and bite size wings along with old Mac and cheese
