I discovered this restaurant by chance while reading a book about Madrid. It said that granite was extracted from Becerril de la Sierra and taken to Madrid to pave many of its streets. It was a coincidence that Google brought me across this wonderful, modest restaurant. The service and atmosphere were very pleasant. Carmen was very attentive. She didn't miss a single detail when it came to serving her customers. Food, service, and attention. A ten. Moderate price.

September 2025, Stopped for lunch at Becada with a group of 35 cyclists (mostly Brits) after they had ridden from Segovia over the mountain on their way to Madrid. We received a really really lovely welcome and delicious food. The staff were very welcoming and hospitable. And they fed us very well. Deliciosa! Thank you.

We were there today on a recommendation and were pleasantly surprised. We had the set menu for €13.90 per person, which includes a starter, main course, and dessert, with a drink included. We had lentils and a salad with mackerel and carrot confit for starters. For the main course, we ordered rice with chicken and vegetables, which was delicious. We will definitely be back.

This was our first time here, as we're new to the area. The first thing you notice is the very pleasant atmosphere and the staff are impeccably attentive. Speaking of food, we must say we were delighted. They have a rice menu for lunch, and this time we tried the duck one, which was exquisite. We ordered sublime sardine loins with tomato and avocado as a starter, and nougat ice cream puff pastry for dessert. All served with unbeatable attention. We'll definitely be back (and more than once). If you're lucky enough to be in Becerril, don't hesitate to go to La Becada for lunch. It will leave you with wonderful memories!

Wonderful Restaurant with a personal service by both waiters, food was in a class by itself, superb . We tried the Wagyu beef and what a treat, clocked to perfection. Resturant got a beautiful location with mountain view and today blue sky with the sun shinning on us all.

Le pongo un total de 4 y en comida 3, porque la ración de paella es muy escasa, la paellera es la que en otros restaurantes te ponen para 2, y eso que no es barato. Eso sí la comida buena, muy buena atención y buen ambiente.

We had their set menu (Monday), and I must say we enjoyed the food, although the portions were quite small. For starters, we ordered beans with compango (a traditional Spanish sausage), and while they tasted good, they were very hard (undercooked), and there was barely a slice of chorizo ​​and another of morcilla (very cheap; it wouldn't cost anything to add a little more sausage, and it would be much better). For the main course, my partner ordered entrecote, which was quite tasty and well-cooked. I had Russian-style meatballs with pepper sauce, which were very good, but the portion was very small. For dessert, we chose their cheesecake, and we loved it (I'd say it's one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had), it's a shame the portion size was ridiculously small. It wouldn't cost anything to serve a bigger slice. We felt the price of the set menu with entrecote was excessive, and we think it's disproportionate to what you get. On a negative note, the water glasses we were given were quite dirty and had black clumps of dubious origin on them. They were very helpful in replacing them, but the ones they brought us had the same black clumps, so when they poured the water into the glasses, the black residue was floating in the drinks. Very unpleasant.

For me, it's just another run-of-the-mill place to eat for 30 euros per person if you don't order dessert, which is a bit pricey. At first glance, the first dining room is striking because of its decor, although it feels very cold every time the door opens. The second room has uncomfortable acoustics and is equally chilly, as it's clear the heating system wasn't sufficient to accommodate a clientele who will undoubtedly be more comfortable at home in terms of warmth. I don't expect something like this when I'm willing to pay extra for a meal on a Saturday. The wait times are long; you sit down at 2:30 pm and aren't served an hour later, between orders and preparation. This means that if you arrive hungry, you end up with bread and butter when you'd already planned to break your diet of flour and Christmas cakes. The food is plentiful, to the point that I would have done without ordering that extra something to share, practically at the insistence of the maître d' instead of making us understand that what we ordered was enough. It tastes good; While it will shorten your lifespan due to the excessive salt and fat in everything I tried, especially what they call paella here, which to me is just rice with stuff, as is the pizza, which is something smothered in a huge amount of cheese and has a slightly undercooked crust. The croquettes were flavorful, but also a bit dry and salty. A word of caution for those with high blood pressure. I'm giving the place a 3 out of 10, as paying almost €12 for bread and takeaway packaging for a table of 5 is simply too much. I'm sure others have a better experience another day; this was just mine. The service is good; they make an effort. They have private parking, which is a plus and much appreciated. I might return in the future to compare.

I was really looking forward to trying Becada because of its reviews and menu, and to be honest, I was a little disappointed. Maybe I had high expectations, or maybe the kitchen didn't turn out as well as on other occasions. There were four of us, and we shared the patatas bravas and ham croquettes, and our main courses were rice for two from Señorito and rice for two from Negro with shrimp. Let's see, everything was fine and perfectly edible, but none of the dishes were anything but "oh, this is so good." They were just average; I expected much more. On the other hand, the place is pleasant, and the service is very attentive and professional. What they nailed was the timing of bringing the dishes to the table, in a timely manner and in just the right amount. We might give it another try because I was a little disappointed. On the other hand, let me give you a humble piece of advice: if you want to respond to reviews that you don't have any other obligation to, respond to them yourself—the manager, the owner, whoever—but don't let an agency respond to them using AI. They'll come across as artificial, fake, impersonal, and I'd even go so far as to say ridiculous. I don't think it's too much work to respond to five or six reviews a week, and they'd come across as much more sincere, relatable, truthful, and authentic. I'm absolutely convinced that your clients would appreciate a more personal response.

Hoy 07/09/2025 Reservamos a las 15:15, nos sentaron a las 15:35 estando la mitad de las mesas vacías, nos tomaron nota a las 16:00 h después de reclamarlo varias veces. No traen las bebidas y unas aceituna, pan y mantequilla. A las 16:20 empieza acllegar la comida. Entrantes, alcachofas crujientes, mejor dicho quemada, sí que crujían, queso provolone, aceptable pero con poco condimento y unos callos, plato muy escaso. Para compartir para 4 pedimos carrileras, estaban agotadas, cambiamos por costillas de ternera a baja temperatura, se les había pasado el tiempo de cocción, súper secas, taper y para los perros. El último plato Tataki de atún ñ, insípido. Comfntarionfinal, comida de calidad baja y un servicio muy lento, aún a última hora, tuvimos que pedir la cuenta en 2 ocasiones. Una pena, el sitio tiene su encanto pero lo importante es el servicio, calidad y el cocinero.

The person who served us throughout the entire service (a blonde woman) was lovely, providing excellent service. However, the treatment from the brunette "responsible" woman left much to be desired. She sold us a ribeye steak, which wasn't a ribeye at all, and even then, she was arrogant and rude. You can't sell a product you know nothing about. She kept cutting us off mid-sentence and also made unpleasant gestures towards her employees. We won't be back.
