I got the Large Curry chicken dinner plate and Man let me tell u this: Amazing Jamaican food The restaurant is clean and nice People their are very nice and professionals Very affordable prices ONE OF THE BEST JAMAICAN RESTAURANTS HERE. Definitely coming back their. ❤️

I came in today excited for my oxtails ask for oxtails and extra gravy and rice and peas and broccoli and cheese w/ a side of yams I get my plate and it’s a plate of goat with extra gravy apparently they gave me the same plate just too the goat off. I got my plate back and ask for extra gravy look at the size of gravy they gave 😒 Yams was the most disgusting thing I’ve tried from here it wasn’t sweet at all nor did it have any flavor the broccoli isn’t steamed enough it’s hard. The only thing I should’ve got was rice and peas and oxtails that’s the only thing they get right. I hate my experience this was my third time coming and I just hate it had to be like this

Ordered from UberEats last night and I want to give a shout out bc that jerk chicken was AWESOME!! Tender chicken and that sauce i could drink with a straw! The cabbage was so flavorful and one of the best cabbage sides i've had. Loved the beef and veggie patties as well. Great job, and if/when I'm back in Birmingham overnight, I look forward to ordering again. 😊 Updated--- whoever was in the kitchen today did not do a good job..ordered and paid for the extra chicken, and I got less than i did from when I first time ordered which was a regular size. It was all rice, and a very tiny amount of the jerk sauce. I am actually pretty upset about this bc its definitely not the same and I spent alot of money on everything i ordered. Consistency is important and I sadly am disappointed :( will order from the other place next time. Sad bc I really loved the first time i ordered from here.

I ordered the brown stewed chicken lunch combo. This meal was absolutely DISGUSTING ! This is NOT Jamaican food at all ! The gravy is thick and textured like apple sauce, and it taste like gravy used to smother pork chops instead of STEW GRAVY $ My food is extremely cold, and the food is extremely BLAND ! There is NO SEASONING on this dood. Also, I bought coco bread and did not receive it. I am extremely disappointed because I am currently pregnant and had this craving on my mind for weeks ! I don’t know what is going on, but this food was disgusting. I should’ve trusted my gut and never ordered.

Jerk chicken straight trash. It’s simply spicy barbecue chicken. The rice n peas had to be instant rice. I will never spend money here again. The Mac and cheese had absolutely no cheese in it at all. My bf and I have tried Jamaican food all over Birmingham. There is only one place that is good. It’s in 3rd ave directly in front of Gibson drugs

I have been coming here for a long time but things have changed.The portions are too small for the price. The cabbage is not cooked the same way it’s totally plain now. Hopefully things will get back better because I ordered a large jerk with double cabbage jerk chicken was good but chicken was so small I thought it was the small size.

I got tha oxtails and my hubby got pAtty n coco bread. Only 2 big tail and one small. It didn't have that much flavor but it was ok I was hungry

The food was ok. It taste like it was cooked a day or two ago and reheated and sauced. We ordered white rice, mac & cheese, cabbage, oxtails and jerk chicken. We ordered things and had to be refunded because she said, I told you from the beginning, I'm not sure what we have today, versus just checking with the owner/manager/cook, we thought that to be unprofessional. The women's bathroom was out of order, the men's bathroom toilet was the only working one, it was decent enough to squat over. We wanted to eat inside, however, looked like someone was sweeping and then saw customer's and just stopped, so the dead roach that was swept up turned me off. It was also very warm inside, cooler than the outdoors heat, but still uncomfortably warm. There were several fans around the restaurant to cool it down. First time and honestly, we wouldn't go back.

The worst service I’ve ever experienced. I ordered online and went to pick up my food, but I forgot the phone I used for the order. The employee refused to give me my food, claiming I needed to confirm the order on my phone or DoorDash wouldn’t pay him. I went all the way back to my office to get my phone, only to find out there was NOTHING for me to confirm—it was something he had to do on his end. Instead of apologizing, he laughed. Then came the food… completely inedible. The small piece of bread was soaked in gravy, and the entire meal was overpriced for what I received. This place is clearly a hobby for the owner, not a serious business. Avoid at all costs.

I use to love there food everything use to be cooked good. Well yesterday I went there for jerk chicken and rice and 2 beef patties the mac and cheese was just noodles barely cheese and no seasoning, rice was the same no salt or pepper. Also had curry goat mac and cabage cabbage was cabbage had no seasoning For what they charge food should be cooked better.
