Banhmigos Brooklyn Reviews
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **Banhmigos is a Flavor Explosion You Don't Want to Miss!** I stopped by **Banhmigos** in Brooklyn and was absolutely blown away — this place is a *hidden gem*! I ordered the **peach green tea with boba** and a **chicken bánh mì**, and both were *phenomenal*. The peach green tea was refreshingly light, with just the right amount of sweetness, and the boba had that perfect chewy texture. But the real star of the show? The chicken bánh mì. The bread was **baked to perfection** — warm, crispy, and *toasted just right*, which took the sandwich to another level. Every bite had that satisfying crunch followed by juicy, flavorful chicken, crisp veggies, and a delicious balance of sweet, savory, and spicy. While the space is small and seating is limited, Banhmigos *more than makes up for it* with the **exceptional quality of their food** and **friendly, fast service**. The staff were kind, efficient, and clearly take pride in what they do. If you're anywhere near the area, **make it a point to stop here**. Whether you're craving something refreshing or a sandwich that seriously hits the spot, Banhmigos delivers big flavor in a small space. I can’t wait to go back!
Our server's personality added to our enjoyment of the meal. Nice employees served our table. The visual appeal here is strong. Banhmigos serves food worth coming back for. This place being accessible is fantastic.
Best banh mi around. Great bread, properly stuffed with pickled carrots n the fillings. Plus the mayo… yum. Pretty orange colored shop too. Rare no frills place in these parts with a straight forward meal promised anytime I’m round this side of the park
This place is a hidden gem. The bread is perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, just the way a good Banh Mi should be. The fillings are fresh, flavorful, and really well-balanced — every bite has the right mix of savory, sweet, and a little bit of heat. You can tell they really care about quality here.
I went there yesterday after a very bad day and Banhmigos food gave me a boost I really needed. Grilled pork banh mi was the best I had in NYC yet. Moist, veggies were plenty of sour, salty and sweet, crunchy bread and just the right amount of cilantro. The staff was friendly, pretty quick and very calm overall. I loved the atmosphere. As soon as all the orders were done they went ahead to chill and played card games! Highly recommend. I’ll be back to try some other things they have on the menu. The only minus is that there is no bathroom. I’m 5months pregnant, so it was quite tricky to find a toilet nearby.
I loved this place - they have very good bread which is soft yet flaky and makes the appropriate sound of good French bread. Tons of pickle which I adore, especially the shredded carrot but especially the big chunks of cucumber. Grilled pork was perfect with tons of flavor, recommend medium spicy. Also nice was the bubble tea, I got Thai
Banhmigos is a great casual Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of Park Slope. We had the traditional sandwich and a shrimp salad to go, and both were quite good. It’s hard to pick between Banhmigos and nearby Lotus when it comes to Vietnamese - both are worth trying though Lotus may have a slight edge.
I love Banh Mi. While what I had here tasted decent, there were 2 issues I had. 1) meat and veggies were placed in the bread side to side. This meant that you could never taste them together. You'd have to take two bites to taste everything together. The juices from the meat weren't coating the veggies and the side with no meat was an extremely dry bite. 2) Mayo. It was standard American mayo instead of the Vietnamese style butter/mayo mixture.
Disappointing. I’m Vietnamese so I was really excited when I moved to the neighborhood, but was really unsatisfied. The tofu spring rolls is 90% mushy noodles with only lettuce, no carrot or cucumber like it traditionally should. The chicken tofu banh mi was okay, but my partner liked it.
My friends really liked their food. BUT VEG PEEPS beware, their broth isn’t vegetarian it’s beef broth only. Had to cancel my part of the order:( **thank you for response I hope you do. But you really should remove it saying vegetarian, that's not vegetarian and can make people sick..
Ordered the rice rolls (one shrimp and one tofu) and a vermicelli salad. All were very disappointing. The rolls were advertised to have cucumbers and fresh herbs / veggies— they came with just vermicelli and one sad piece of lettuce. The salad was not much better.
I ordered them on Uber Eats and I was hoping for something decent. I was served lettuce that obviously went bad. Translucent, wilting, and the sliced cucumbers were all floppy which isn’t normal for fresh cucumbers. I’m expecting to have food poisoning now. Also, this isn’t close to Vietnamese food. It’s honestly a pale imitation to what Vietnamese food actually tastes like. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Accidentally ordered pho from this location as I prefer the one on Vanderbilt. Asked if they could cancel the order for me. They offered to deliver it which was a nice gesture. The pho comes and the broth has leaked out of the entire deli container. There was no plastic wrap or tape covering the broth. I called to ask if they can send more broth and the soup is now inedible. The woman was beyond rude and told me “no you can order from a different delivery app”. What horrible service. I will never be ordering here again. There are way better pho places in the area who are not rude to their customers.
