Best outside bar space in the area
I like the games you can play inside
Nice selection. Excellent service.
Great place to drink and chill
So good I barely remember.
The music was too loud at around 1pm-- came in to talk to a dude which made it a little tough since I'm very soft spoken--but I ain't mad at ya
Favorite local bar. Amazing staff and a good selection of beverages.
As good a Brooklyn vibe you can find. Every bartender is amazingly personable and well-skilled.
I love all the bartenders And the prices are amazing!
Always got jams playing and the beers are always cold af(reak) bartenders know what's up also
Jill is the G.O.A.T.
Greg one of the owners was at be the bar the afternoon we stopped in, great service and prices.
Fun old school dive with a great juke box and games. Gets crazy on the weekends with DJ’s.
I had a lot of fun hanging here.
This used to be Terry's Diner, now it's Marco's. Both had their time and place in the neighborhood's journey.
Had the best time of my life. Ya gotta talk to Greg!
It's a great bar/lounge
Definitely Good Music and Vibes
The bar maid Terra was the BOMB!!! GREAT PERSON AND GREAT BAR WITH GREAT PRICES!!
Cash only. Awesome happy hour, cool vibe
About as good as it gets for your local neighborhood spot
Nice little neighborhood bar. Six dollar shot and beer special can't be beat. Very friendly people at the bar
Great bar with a nice terrasse! The staff is also very friendly!
Love the patio set up that they have. Drinks are reasonably priced. Def recommend a frozen margarita.
Ya never know what to expect honestly. But the bartenders r definitely eye candy and they know other bartenders from other bars so that's always fun.
Kind of divey bar Bushwick style. They have beer and shot deals. They have a huge patio . Great for summer Hangouts
Exactly what you should expect from a late night lgbt bar…. Most everyone is friendly ☺️ And the staff is cool af
Hip Flex chic sexy crowd Sprinkle of every Mix of good music plays here Drinks are cheap priced trinkets of mischief Have one and maybe another umm then one more
Cheap drinks good music and a big outdoor space to enjoy!
Great music, great bartenders, plenty of room outside. I recommend.
Suuuuuper chill vibes with a great backyard! Perfect for summer. Pacifico on draft. Very cold.
You can’t beat a dive bar that makes great cocktails. Good music, friendly staff, huge outdoor patio. Marco’s is a gem.
Nothing is particularly notable except for a big backyard, which is great in nicer weather. Solid addition to my dive bar rotation in the area.
Really big backyard, lots of drinks to pick from, super friendly staff - and the attention to detail they put in when decorating the space is extremely impressive. Nice bar music too
Marcos is an awesome bar. I went to hang out with friends, and there was a kool pop up event with a dj and food in their amazing backyard. It was also great seeing Wilson, who is an amazing bartender. Love it. ❤️
This is the closest bar to my house, and I'm glad it is. I like to stop here after getting off work late night, or going in the afternoon to read on the weekends. Cheap drinks, friendly bartenders, big backyard, and good DJs late night. A staple of the neighborhood.
I love their rotating frozen specials and always a trusty place for a beer + shot combo. They have amazing vendors / food pop ups in the backyard. My go-to neighborhood spot
Marcos is one of my favorite bars in town! I love the atmosphere & the vibes! Best Jukebox box ever!! I’m obsessed with their Espresso Martini!! 🍸
Exactly what you want out of a dive. Cheap beer shot combos, good drinks and a great backyard that you don’t find often in this part of BK. Plus the events they do are hella fun.
This joint is a gem 💎. The backyard is really huge, good for most of the year. Their recent events/DJs have been awesome. Great find.
Marco’s is such a cool bar with amazing bartenders. Wilson always shows us a good time and is an awesome bartender and manager. Literally every bartender that works here is amazing and gives the best customer service. The deals are great and the bar is inclusive, inviting, and feels like home.
Walked in having a bad day ended up having a good drink. A little bit of a metal bar but has an old feel to it
First and foremost, it's cash only. They have cheap drinks, good happy hours. Nice friendly staff. You would think it is a dive bar, but it's more like a hip 20s-people type of bar. Outdoor patio in the warmer days. Not a ton of seating indoors but usually can get a table for 2 even on weekends with ease. Love the atmosphere... dimly lit string lights in the evening add an almost romantic vibe to it.
Love this neighborhood bar- delicious cocktails, rad music and friendly bartenders make this place the perfect destination to hang with friends or chill for a nightcap. Will be back!
Great local bar for a chill hang. Bartenders are sweet and will socialize or let you cozy up to the bar with a book.
Very cool and inviting local spot owned by a friend of mine. Have never had a bad drink or a single bad vice from this place. The staff are on another level and really take care of you. Would highly recommend!
The best place around! I stayed for vacations close by and the only place that I liked and felt safe was this little bar! They have a nice patio sitting in the back and everyone there is also nice! The street is kind of scary but this bar made the difference in my stay in Brooklyn!
This place is the bomb dot com. Great happy hour until 9 PM. Amazing backyard! This place used to be a hole in the wall diner (Terry's) and is much better suited to be a local bar. Would recommend to anyone!
Best neighborhood dive by far. Vibes are immaculate, drinks run a'plenty, and the music is at the perfect volume.
Love this spot, has a great backyard and just overall awesome vibe. Had a blast at both the karaoke and trivia night. Definitely coming back!
Great spot in the middle of everything in B'klyn. Awesome staff and ever better backyard for socializing with friends, and making new ones! 🙂
Marco's is awesome! came for the drinks, stayed for the vibes. classic Bushwick bar, treated super well, even got a bunch of free pickles! the music playing was dope, but you can still totally hold an audible conversation. definitely a staple, you gotta hang here 🙌
This place is the absolute best neighborhood dive bar. If ya’ need to just chill and unwind that’s the spot!
I specifically came tonight because I know that Xavier works on Tuesdays only to find out that he had been let go because of a review that does NOT sound like anything that I have EVER witnessed! I come to this place a lot and I have never seen him anything other than lovely, professional, attentive and a great bartender and friend to the regulars. If the owners are reading the reviews: if you listen to one out of towner instead of the people who come here multiple times a week, this place is going to lose its character…and its customers.
So many of my favorite nights have been spent on Mondays and Tuesdays with Xavier and on the weekends with Wilson. They always make it a welcoming and wonderful time. They’re the reason we always come back! Best bartenders, great patio when it’s warm out, good specials and a terrific spot.
I live close by, and this bar has been a sacred third space for me for 5 years through some really hard times. What I can say is that each bartender on staff right now has their own vibe, music, and energy - but this place is community. I came in today to see Xavier, a bartender who has become a weekly staple in my work from home life. He’s the first to engage new customers, makes everyone laugh, and always makes you feel like you’re family. I heard he had been let go due to one bad review, but which I read, and quite frankly it sounds like it was very late when that review was written and we all know at that things can get confused in the early hours - not to doubt here experience but owners, if you’re watching, several regulars here tonight are heartbroken. I’m so sad, when Xavier started here this place became warmer, more inclusive, and a must do even if it was just me passing through to say hi. I think this was a mistake, and I’m here more days a week than I’d like to admit 👀 I don’t know what that out of town person’s experience was like and I’m not trying to judge her, but I know Xavier and he would never make someone feel less than or unwelcome. Bartending is hard work, and let’s be real I come here for community. Xavier, John, Wilson, Hogan, Steph, Jill, Cali, and the caring security staff make this place what it is. Maybe I’ll try Hart bar.
Cheap delicious drinks and a GREAT vibe! Love the DJ and the cool benches outside
Really the platonic form of what a good bar should be. Cheap, check. Unpretentious, check. You can take your drink and sit outside and live life freely as intended by the Declaration of Independence, check. Bartenders are cool, check. Nothing wrong with this place. I couldn't improve anything if I tried.
CANNOT SUGGEST THIS BAR ENOUGH! Wilson is the sickest bartender! Plays all the jams, serves all the drinks and brings top notch service!!!!!! He ensures you are pleased during your time!
One of the best bars in the neighborhood!! Loving their new cocktail menu and events/pop-ups they’ve been doing. Go when Wilson or Franny are working and you’ll definitely have the best time!!
Chill vibes and with a huge back yard. The special cocktails are very good especially the coquito. I like the drag shows and special events they’ve been throwing. Well priced too. Neighborhood staple
Great neighborhood place! The vibes are always good & they rotate dj’s through the week to mix things up. You can never go wrong with a trusty beer shot combo am I right?!
Cheap drinks, lots of space, and pool tables
just another bar, es kewl
Good out door space. Decent happy hour. Good music selection in the jukebox.
Cool lol school dive bar. Helpful staff knowledgeable. And good food
Cool bar with old-school dive bar style and a huge back yard.
Great happy hour that lasts until 9 pm!
Cheap drinks and specials. Fun outdoor space.
Solid Dive Bar! Great drinks. Solid service. Outdoor seating / patio is a bonus. What else can you ask for !
Pretty chill place, nice place for a date or small get together. I definitely recommend going. Plus the deals on drinks are crazy cheap
Fun little neighborhood bar. Draft beers and drink specials, they have an outdoor drinking area, and a couple arcade games inside.
Great bar - good decor, good atmosphere. Friggen cash only. Get over yourself Bushwick.
Chill cozy bar with competent bartenders... it's cash only though, and they'll throw you shade if you ask them to break large bills.
Very helpful staff. Gave us water no problem. Out door space has cool art but could definitely use a little more ambience.
Nice bar with the best prices in the area. Large outdoor area, good music. The only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars is that it's cash only.
Came thru on a Monday night and exposed to a chill spot. Good mix of music with a list of different cocktail drinks and varieties of wine. Indoor space and a backyard for different events. Find them on IG for a host of evwnts. I'll be back Update- March 2022 Great vibes with Brooklyn. Always the spot
Loud dive, cash only, cheap-ish drinks. Very harsh sound system, extremely loud, hard to hear yourself think.
Cash only, no food, awkward space. Regular bar for chatting, talking, etc.
Old fashioned neighborhood bar with great drink specials.
place to have quick drink... long happy hours.. plenty of outdoor seating in the back...
Quaint little bar with a spacious patio area in back that my friends and I found very nice .
Marcos is a cool, 70's style bar with a big back yard. Great spot to explore in summer, but a little quiet during the rest of the year.
Cool looking dive bar, great atmosphere. I only had one drink. The margarita was so bad. It wasn't good at all. I tried to add simple syrup but it didn't help one bit. The website also said they had pretzels but it wasn't a available that night. Otherwise pretty good bar.
Super bummed to come in and find out (by the regulars nonetheless) that my all time favorite bartender and vibe keeper, Xavier was let go. Marcos has been my go to spot for years and I've made a lot of great friends and shared many memories there. It's a shame that Marcos was willing to let someone go based on a drunk review. This place most won't certainly be the same.
Went in only for a late night drink at the bar. Bartender was nice enough. Ordered a margarita at $14. I don't know what he used that cost so much money, but my highball glass was about half full with a giant ice cube in it. Think it worked out to about $5 a sip! Will order a beer next time.
Motorcycle helmets are not hats
The male bartender tonight was extremely rude and racist. Never coming back again!
EDIT: The noise is just out of control from the back patio. It routinely wakes me up, from halfway down the block and many stories up. People are SCREAMING in the back area until 4am and beyond, and I can hear every word of conversations. I reached out to Marco's on IG to address the issue, and they blocked me with no response. This is already an incredibly noisy area between the train, motorcycles, fireworks, trucks, etc. Marco's is a terrible neighbor :( Totally would understand normal conversations until midnight, but this is every single night until 4am. The 311 request lookup shows that that complaints are ongoing for years. The bar is cute and cozy inside, with reasonably priced drinks. Bartenders are nice and feels like a little secret neighborhood spot. That said, there are people behind the bar SCREAMING until 4 am every single night. Even on these nights that are cold! I have tried reporting 311, DMing on Instagram, and nothing. I guess the appeal is having a backyard, but Marco’s, please at least make a midnight backyard closure! It’s not fair to the dozens of neighbors who can hear every word of the drunk conversations. I wish I were at the bar instead of having to stressing will I get enough sleep for work, but alas. Please be more respectful of your neighbors!
this bar is definitely not a safe place for women. i came here for my friends birthday party and we all had to leave almost immediately because customers wouldnt stop harassing the girls. I didn’t feel safe, was an unfortunate and uncomfortable experience
No food. Horrible drinks, the bartender did not know how to make a simple Moscow Mule and they all appeared dizzy and lethargic. The open area is the back is the only redeeming quality of this dump.
The first drink I had had a long blond hair in it. I had a few drinks after and the bartender decided to listen in on our conversation. The bartender decided to follow my friend to the bathroom to attempt to comfort her after a political conversation. When the bartender decided to clock out, she came up to us, hugged my friend, and said a disparaging comment to me. None of which was needed. Completely unacceptable and inappropriate. Will never come back.
I always come here and I always TIP the bartenders, but Today Dominque the bartender, had the nerve to say I brought over $50 in drinks alone, I didn’t tip and that’s crazy. As a bartender, that’s horrible customer service. Her drinks are good but she definitely not getting a tip for her comment bad customer service
Traveled here from Portland or and was super excited for me and my friends to have a lovely night of going out and we stumbled upon Marco's the vibe was amazing and so was the music but the bartender was most deff...drunk! He was very rude , refused to acknowledge me even though I was standing right there and no one else was at the bar(whatever I'm patient and in the industry) but like when he's just sitting on his phone rolling his eyes it's a little odd! I asked him for a wine and he mocked my accent and when I asked him if he was okay he screamed (why is everyone messing with me!) very confused whatever ... and then I came up there a second time and he was screaming at someone else for asking for a drink! Final straw he did last call and then when I went up to the bar he said "I'm not serving anymore" uhh isn't that last call? If I wasn't already on anti depressants I would be on them after this experience with this drunk of a bartender! Great music great vibe but staff that aren't only drunk but also mean!
