Everything is delicious I went with a group we all shared each abite of meals so good especially that green sauce
Picked up a wonton soup very delicious first time here and definitely coming back service was absolutely amazing
The BEST!!!! Any of their ceviche is great! It's a must! The $5/pitcher happy hour Chichamorada drink is also something that's a must! If you're a sweet tooth like me, you'll love that drink! It's basically made out of corn but it's more on the citrusy side.... Just try it! It's hard to explain hahaha!
If you’re looking for authentic Peruvian food look no further! This place is the REAL DEAL!! I had the papa a la huancaina, Jalea, and Lomo Saltado and it was soooo delicious! The waiter was really nice and attentive and the food came out quickly! What more could you ask for!! Highly recommend
In my humble opinion the best peruvian restaurant i have been to (outside of Perú). Their plates are enormous, so i suggest you go with an empty stomach. The only complain i have was with the lomo a lo pobre and the meat quality. It was good but not great and that makes me sad because that plate is really good.
Definitely not a expert on Peruvian food, but I have been to Peru (Lima, Cusco, Machu Pichu) I do have some experience with the food culture. This place is similar if not 99% to what I remember having in Peru. The Chicha Morado was a little bit sweeter than what I remembered, but was very similar to the refreshing drink that was had while in Cusco. Lomo Saltado itself was a tad on the salty side, but still very tasty and is one to order again. Only issue i had was with the rice. It seemed as if the rice was somewhat dry either left in the cooker for too long or the water to rice grain ratio was off. (I LOVE RICE!!) The Tallarin verde y milanesa de pollo was mouth watering. Pesto sauce mixed with spaghetti and grated parmesan cheese spread all over? Then there is a huge lightly breaded and succulent piece of (i'm assuming) chicken breast over the top? WHAT?? I had to stop myself (and my wife) from eating it all in one sitting! The star of show, however, was the ceviche. Now i'm fortunate enough to work at a place where we're able to watch the cooking channel all day long. Peru has won gastronomic country award '15, '16 for their flare on food. Most notably, their ceviche. The ceviche here was....there are no words to describe. I don't know what they do to it, but you just have to try it for yourself. The Ají Limón ceviche. GET THAT and you wont go wrong. I can't wait to return and try the other ceviche's they make. As for the service; impecable. We had no problems whatsoever and our server was great. He was super courteous, knowledgable and very efficient. This place has all the makings of a 5 star establishment in my book. Will it make it to yours? Andale!
We came here as a second choice, when going to a different restaurant didn't work out, because my wife is Peruvian, and curiosity got the best of her, but it looks we've found our go to local Peruvian restaurant. We had choros (mussels) a la chalaca and arroz con mariscos (seafood and rice). Both dishes were plated nicely and had good flavor. The dining area had plenty of seating, and the staff was nice.
I ordered a Bistec a Lo Pobre. The steak tasted watery, lacked seasoning. The rice was crispy, as if undercooked. The dressing used on the salad was not good. The fries were previously frozen and soggy. Cheap and affordable, still not worth visiting.
