Draft Republic Carlsbad Reviews
Really great sports bar in Carlsbad. They have so many tvs to watch all the games. The food was great and the portions are bigger than I expected, so be hungry. I really liked the house pickles on the pastrami sandwich. They have a large selection of beer and also have games for kids or yourself to play which makes it good for the whole family.
Ok, so who’s been keeping this whole “St. Louis ribs” thing from me all these years? I had no idea if they would taste any different than say…”regular ribs”, but man I was totally digging their smokey flavor and how tender they were. I was also impressed that they don’t just sit in your gut like a brick once you’ve finished (like some meals can). Do any other cities make ribs that I should know about? 🤷♂️ And that’s…Henry’s Take. @henrystake
Great place to watch the game. Seating can be iffy for a couple as most non-bar seating is on large picnic tables. Food surprisely good. Over 120 taps on the wall, plus many premium liquors and wines.
Went here with a big group and rented one of the golf simulator! Had a blast, good food and service!
Great place to grab some food and watch some sports. High energy atmosphere. Service was very good and what I liked from the start is that the server told us that it was pretty busy, so it might take 5 to 10 minutes beyond the norm. That was refreshing rather than not know what was going on waiting for our food. Great selection on the menu and they seem to change it up from time to time to keep things fresh. In the end, the food seemed to come out right on schedule (as soon as we were finishing up our appetizer) and was delicious. Not the cheapest place to eat, but worth the extra few dollars. Fun atmosphere, great food, great service. Update: Caylee was our server this time and she is great. Very attentive to our needs, knowledgeable, and had a great attitude. Will definitely be back!
Such a cool place! The outdoor patio is great with lots of games for kids and adults. They also have multiple golf simulators. Some of the walls are garage doors that open to let in the beautiful California weather. Our server was so sweet, the food was good, and they have over 100 beers on tap (ask for the rotating list). Great for families or just friends that want to drink and play games.
The BEST spot for tasting all sorts of beers, wines, ciders, meads and hard kombucha. Many choices support local breweries! No need to flag down the bartender because it’s all self serve. (There’s also non-alcoholic options like root beer, cold brew coffee, iced tea, and kombucha.)Another huge plus is that it’s an ideal place for groups because it’s easy to split the bill. Each person can hand their card to the host at entry, which will correspond with their individual purchases. Lots of outdoor and indoor seating, though the patio is sometimes reserved for large groups. Excellent spot to catch all the Sunday Football games on HD TVs. Always great music. This is also a stop on Carlsbad Food Tours so be sure to check out the menu!
Wings we're pretty good. Salad was fresh and delicious. Service efficient and a really good tap list.
We had a wonderful time here — very family friendly with tons of TVs and fun arcade games to keep everyone entertained. The bartender was super nice and made us feel welcome. The food was yummy too — great spot for both kids and adults to enjoy!
Kaleigh was an amazing server - so kind and attentive. The food was really yummy and our children enjoyed the arcade games.
This place is always delicious. We've been a few times and each time we've gotten new items. All delicious. Wonderful site, lots to do. Open floor plan. You don't feel cramped and the service is top tier.
We had dinner here super late. Walked in about an hour before closing and we were meet with smiles. Had an excellent meal for us and the kids. Excellent accommodations to allergies and the food was made to perfection. I’m horrible with names, but shoutout to our waitress… she was really friendly and helpful. Best service you could ask for!
You can find a cold beer and some food anywhere right? What makes the difference is service and atmosphere. DR does a great job with the atmosphere, lots of TV’s to catch a game. If you come to watch your favorite team (Go Eagles) make sure to ask for a table in Mia’s section. She’s the best, responsive and funny a great combination.
We went for an early NYE dinner & had a custom bourbon mule drink, Mac n cheese appetizer, & the bacon & blue cheese burger. They even custom made two kinds of honey mustard for me! My friend had a salad that she did not like very well & they took it off the tab - no questions asked. Many huge TVs to watch any kind of sport you want! Family friendly as well. Will definitely go back!
Brought my wife for a casual Sunday afternoon lunch. We were very impressed with the service, atmosphere, selection of draft beer, and food. We had white truffle pizza with Jalapenos and Freson peppers, which was amazing! The pizza was rich and spicy, a perfect balance. Our server Geneveve was top-notch with a wealth of knowledge on the menu and drink pairings to match our tastes. I highly recommend a visit to Draft Republic and make sure to ask for Geneveve for an enjoyable visit.
Food is AWESOME. Super flavorful, nice portions, good fries. More choices for beer than you can shake a stick at. All the TVs you could ask for. Plenty of seating. Intentional service.
My favorite restaurant in the area. Been going here occasionally for a few years. Great service and food. Tons of TVs with a variety of sports playing. Some of the menu is rotating, so there always something new and delicious. They have tons of alcohol on tap and amazing cocktails as well. I usually get the blue wave riding (I think that’s what it’s called), which I don’t think is on the menu, but they will still make it if they have ingredients. It is a great drink if you like tropical drinks. I have never had an issue parking there. They no longer have the arcade section and ping-pong table, but now have golf and soccer simulators, which look pretty cool if you have a group outing. I do wish the shuffleboard table was still there. Although they have added a service charge, their prices didn’t go up as much as others in the area, and the surcharge has kind of become a common thing in the Carlsbad area.
My first time here. The bar was well stocked and they have Soo many televisions. The baseball game was on and I think they were showing movies in the back. They have a ton of seating in and out. The service was pretty quick and the stretching was good.. We had lollipop chicken, onion rings, steak salad, bang bang shrimp, Draft Republic Burger, the brownie ala mode with salted caramel drizzle, and pulled pork sandwich. Everything was delicious the onion ring appetizer was small but they do give you a gang of french fries and a salad with your entree. I'm so full This is a good spot. We had a good time. There is indoor outdoor seating with partitions between the tables and masks are required.
This was my first time here. Loved the open space layout and all the decor. Geneveve was our server who displayed a high level of customer service. She was very attentive to anything we needed and checked on how we were doing all throughout our time there. Outstanding customer service is always greatly appreciated by patrons and I strongly believe in providing recognition to those who provide great customer service because that's one of the key factors that determines whether or not you will come back. So, THANK YOU Geneveve for being you, keep up the great work!! Your AWESOME!!
The food was really good here. This was my first time here. The one thing I loved about this place was the house made ketchup. It is garlicky but thats was I like about it. Our server was great as well. He was so friendly. My husband had a beer here and he loved the choose the server recommended. I totally recommend this place.
Excellent service, excellent food, and friendly to kids. What more can you ask for from a sports bar? Seriously, these need to be everywhere! Congrats on the team here for making everything seamless.
This place has amazing food!!! I came here with a group from work about 20 of us. They sat us outside it was really nice they have big heaters. This place has a lot of TV's so if you want to watch sports this is your place. Service was outstanding even for a busy Friday night. I ordered the Parmesan Herb Fries to start with good stuff. Then as my entree I ordered The Heart Stopper burger! It was so tasty and fulfilling!! Also tried the mac and cheese so good with the bacon in it and a sasuge on top!
Loved the atmosphere and service at this restuarant with friendly staff and a daily happy hour ! We enjoyed the happy hour plates which was sausages, potatoes and red cabbage, Louisiana style ribs, corn bread with pickles while enjoying music and giant screen televisions. They even offer air ball game.
“Kaleigh M is an outstanding server. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and efficiency truly enhance the dining experience. She consistently ensures that orders are accurate and that guests feel well cared for.”
I am beyond blown away by the taste flavor and presentation of the service of everything. I am a comfort food person and I was torn between Fish and Chips and Mac & Cheese Cheese Serlion. So I went out of my comfort zone and decided to try the second plate, which was the Mac & Cheese Serlion. But like I said I AM BEYOND BLOWN AWAY with this dish, the flavors are so unexpected and different. It makes this dish plate very delicious. I was not expecting it to be very very delicious. From the Mac & Cheese to the pieces of the Serlion steak mixed with the Yellow banana chilies to everything. Including the Blonde Beer that I paired with the dish. The tangy flavor that comes from every single bite I took was Amazing, I never thought I would enjoy Mac & Cheese like this. If I am ever in the area again this is the plate I will order again. Oh my gosh, amazing... My compliments to our waitress who I asked what she would recommend and what she thought about the dish I ordered. She responded and let me know that the dish was incredible. That was the response I was looking for and I was very impressed with everything. My compliments to our waitress, the chef, and everyone there. Thank you for everything. P.S. The Appetizer was unbelievable, loved it Sincerely; Miguel Lima
We are out of towners visiting legoland and needed a break from park food. I’m so glad we chose Draft Republic. Our server was Kaylee (I believe that’s what she said!) who was training and really connected with our kid instantly somehow. He told her every single thing on his mind. Kaylee gave us recommendations we ended up loving and made sure we had everything we needed, even when it was random weird things my kid asked for like wanting Italian dressing for his buttered noodles. The chicken sandwich I ordered was delicious but fair warning the portion sizes are MASSIVE, and since we were leaving the next day we didn’t want to bring leftovers home, so it did feel a bit wasteful. Fries were fantastic, couldn’t stop eating them. I had to leave a review to say how great Kaylee was, she was so good to my son. Overall a great experience!
We had a fantastic time at Draft Republic. It was an excellent spot to watch the Super Bowl while enjoying a wide range of beers and tasty food!
I could not have been happier with the food, the beer, our the service. My friend and I sat at the bar with Kaleigh as our bar tender. She is personable and attentive. I would highly recommend.
Honestly I couldn't be happier with this place. Between the quality of food. Paired with their staff being properly trained and seemingly held to higher standards vs most restaurants nowadays. I will 100% go back and will always recommend this place to others . ONLY thing I could say negative so that this really does feel like a true review and not a paid ad is that their game selection and area is kinda meh. Kids will enjoy it but it's out of place and outdated. Their beer selection and coldness is on point though for sure.
Made a mobile order the other day and some error caused it to not go through. When I arrived at Draft Republic, the kitchen had already closed. However, George, the manager on deck, put my order in anyway. George and his crew single handedly saved my skin, preventing me from picking up my hungry wife from the airport without dinner — she would’ve bit my head off. Thanks y’all!
The quality of the food and the portion sizes absolutely match the price, making every dish feel worth it. The flavors were phenomenal, and the drinks were equally impressive, carefully crafted and refreshing. The waitstaff did a fantastic job keeping up with our table, attentive without being overbearing, and I had no complaints whatsoever about the service. From start to finish, everything felt smooth and well-managed, which added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. With such a great combination of delicious food, perfectly sized portions, and attentive service, this place has quickly become my new go-to spot whenever I’m passing through San Diego.
I visited this place while I was in town and I had the burger with beef brisket. It was very delicious and filling. It paired very well with the glass of Malbec that I had also. They also have a big screen watching sports games and there's a couple of golf simulators. I'll definitely be visiting this place again when I'm back in town.
Bri and Kaleigh behind the bar are the BEST! Super friendly, fun, and they know how to make a perfect drink every time. Draft Republic is already a cool spot, but they make the experience next level. Definitely coming back just for their service!
We had an amazing time here. We were starving after our day time activities with our daughter and stopped in around 3:30. We ended up ordering the draft Republic burger and the shrimp salad to share between my husband and I and got our daughter some pasta. They split our food for us and the portions were perfect. The food was so delicious and certainly did not disappoint. We were both super satisfied with our meal and so was our daughter. Our server Kayla was amazing and just overall so sweet. She made sure we had everything we needed and while we aren't dessert people, we said yes to her recommendation of the skillet brownie sundae. It was so amazing. Overall, just an awesome vibe, great service, and delectable menu. Would love to return.
What a great place place for some food, some beer and some fun. Amazing bar with a ton of taps. TV’s all over. Excellent, friendly and attentive staff. The food is great from the sausage platter appetizer to the loaded brisket fries and the amazing short rib melt (one of the best sandwiches i’ve had in a long, long time). Great for large groups. Excellent.
It's always great when I'm in a different city and I get to try new restaurants. I happened to be in the Carlsbad area and got to try Draft Republic. The food runner, Kyra, and our waiter, Nick L., absolutely went above and beyond to serve our large group of 12. We were fortunate to arrive during happy hour, which allowed us to explore the delicious offerings from their happy hour menu. We almost tried everything on it and divided the food among the whole group. My attention was really drawn to their outstanding drink specials. My beer enthusiast friends were happy with the 16 oz house beers for just $6 and the 26 oz option for $9, which I've never seen anywhere in SoCal. We sampled a wide range of dishes, including the mouthwatering beef sliders and sausage sampler, the savory crispy buffalo cauliflower, poke tacos, brussel sprouts, Bavarian pretzel bites, and the chop chop salad. Each meal was well-cooked and flavorful. The vibe at Draft Republic was warm and friendly, showing an excellent fusion of local charm and contemporary design. They do have lots of TVs playing local sports so this has to be a great spot to hang out on game day. Given the size of our group, the service was very impressive. In addition to ensuring sure our orders were correctly taken and that our eating experience was excellent, Nick L. and Kyra were also patient and attentive. The vast beer menu provided a wide variety of options, even though I may not be a beer enthusiast myself. Additionally, I was surprised to find that they have a good non-alcoholic selection as well as beer flights for those interested in trying a variety of flavors. I'll definitely go back to Draft Republic the next time I'm in the area after this wonderful experience. It is a must-visit location since it offers amazing food, drinks for my companions, warm service, and a lively atmosphere.
Loved this place! Great service, massive draft beer list and delicious food. We started with the sausage sampler and the crispy brussel sprouts, neither disappointed. Was craving chicken tenders and their version for adults included 3 sauces and coleslaw. Only complaint is that the location closes “early” at 9pm, def would have stayed later if they were opener later.
pretty cool place good employees come here and hang out. They got pretty good food but the steak medium well fire fire but come down here and have some drinks. Good beer.

Great food, drinks, and prices. Geneveve was our server, she was great. Very attentive and personable.
Geneveve was spectacular! Had a wonderful time at happy hour with friends thanks to great food, atmosphere, and service.

Good food, but don't go there when the nearby kid soccer games finish 😅
I was actually pleasantly surprised that a sports bar could be as comfortable as this is. It's well designed for fans, with lots of screens for viewing, but at the same time, offers quiet(er) areas where one can have a conversation without having to shout over the noise! The food is delicious, I indulged in a burger and truffle fries, and was not disappointed! Couldn't eat it all, but I certainly tried. The menu has a large variety of items, and everyone in my party was satisfied. The drinks are good and the service was excellent. Our server was friendly and on point. Nothing to dislike here. I'll be back!
When you walk in the walls of TVs and games are impressive. There is plenty of seating, although the stools are not very comfortable. The food is really excellent, but pricy. $22 for a sandwich is a little steep. Our server wasn't really friendly, but the rest of the staff seemed very attentive. Overall a good place to bring the family or visit for football and basketball games.
Great food, the smoked old fashion is great. Rather disappointed in the night manager. Carlos our server was great. Manager kept his eyes down, never made eye contact, as if he was sorry he was there. Seats need some repair.
This was the Nashville fried hot chicken sandwich. I took the recommendation to have the hot sauce on the side from our server. It is incrediably hot but delicious. There are 2 fried chicken breast! Service was great and it is a big place. The beer selection was great. It seemed like there was over 40 different beers on tap.
Fun place to watch the game tons of TVs and sports like entertainment a lot of different draft beers to choose from didn’t try the food, but it looked delicious.
The kid ordered grilled cheese with plain fries (not the parm herb style that it comes with). The food is great. Presentation is cute with fries in their own metal fry basket. The child complained...my grilled cheese has too much gooey cheese. Ridiculous. That's a glowing review of how good, gooey and indulgent this meal is. Plenty of fun video games, some even free like ping pong, fusball, and shuffle board. Sports everywhere you look. Massive beer menu with niche beers rotating on their $4 menu. Fun finds there. It's a little loud, but a price I'll happily pay because the kids are entertained and I can enjoy another beer.
Came on a Saturday night where it wasn't too busy and got seated pretty quick. The service was meh (asked the server for beer recommendations and got a "just pick of that menu reply") but the food was pretty good. Pictured are the fish and chips, tuna melt, hangar steak, cheesesteak, tuna tataki and sausage sampler, along with some beer selections. Would come back. Maybe our server was having an off night.
Draft Republic often surprises me with great beers. Their food is decent too. I usually go to the La Jolla location, but this was my first time here at the Carlsbad location. It definitely did not disappoint. My default order is skirt steak or seared tuna. I like coming here for work meetings or socials.
Been here a couple of times as well as the other location. We dined here on Halloween night and glad it was not busy. The restaurant is huge with a lot of tables and TV screens to watch your favorite sporting event. 49ers were playing on the big screen. Yay for the win. Food: •Brisket Poutine •Bang Bang Shrimp •Tuna Tataki The poutine was delicious and the shrimp was a bit spicy so be careful. Strangely enough I enjoyed the Tuna. It looked strange at first but once I tasted it I loved the flavors. Great place for large groups and to watch games.
Happy hour nachos need a bit more sauce. The 2nd layer down were just dry. Sorry to be dinging you for something so silly. Rest of vibe was great
We had a great experience at Draft Republic overall. The food was amazing, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, the restaurant itself was immaculate. You can tell a lot of care goes into the space and the menu. Service with food and drinks was friendly and attentive. That said, I was a bit disappointed with the simulator experience. We paid for the simulator as part of a team outing, and there was also a family next to us who had booked one. Unfortunately, there was very little direction, guidance, or engagement from staff on how to best use or enjoy the simulator. It felt like a huge missed opportunity both for our team building on our end and for a family who appeared to be celebrating something special. What stood out is that this was at 11:30 a.m. right at opening on a Friday, and the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. With more coaching, structure, the simulator experience could have been incredible and really memorable. All that said, the food alone would bring me back, and the space is fantastic. I hope the simulator experience gets more attention in the future because it has so much potential to elevate an already great restaurant.
The food and service were good. But there was an added charge on the bill for rising costs. I felt like this was a hidden cost, as the costs of the ingredients should be covered in the advertised price. Also, $4.50 for a soda seemed steep.
Food was good and plentiful as usual... However, they dropped the NHL package, so couldn't watch any hockey games. I guess the price nearly doubled, which is hard for many businesses right now. The manager comped a drink, and explained what happened.
We were a group of nine bikers from Orange County who stopped by for lunch. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere and the service was respectful and well-organized. The drinks and beers were excellent and enjoyed by everyone in the group. The food quality was average and could be improved, but overall, it was a positive experience. A nice spot for group gatherings and a relaxing break during a ride.
Wanted a steak and a beer, found a steak and several beer options!! Steak was cooked perfectly and the chimichuri sauce was out of this world!! Beer selections were plentiful! Sat at the bar, wasn't very busy, but the service was a little slow would be the only thing bad I could say about the place!
We stopped here on Easter Sunday and were pleasantly surprised they had happy hour specials that day. We ordered the burger and beer special on happy hour. They let us choose any burger or sandwich from the menu, a choice of 3 beers and you also get a small salad and order of fries. It was well worth the $22. The fries were amazing. My only complaint is that the beer was slightly flat and the Philly cheesesteak was a bit dry and lacked cheese.
Found this place on Google Maps while looking for a place to dine after our visit to LEGOLAND. Nice offering of taps + good pub food AND Social Hours (a.k.a. Happy Hours) is already a good start. Echoing sentiment from other reviewers, the food service was FAST!! (Taking one star off for a very sorry piece of cornbread that came with the ribs. Tasted dry and crumbly, and like it came out of the fridge and had not came up to room temperature.) There are games like foos table and shuffle board to entertain our little one. Fantastic! To conclude our visit, this has gotta to be the record speed for us to get the check and finish paying. :-) Kudos to the staff for a wonderful experience.
Food is okay. Not cheap, not expensive. No complaints. Ambiance is good. Lots of TVs. The only "Practice" I don't like is when your server asks for your credit card and STARING at the device and …

Looked cool at first. Host just gave us a menu and told us to figure it out basically. Walked around for 5 min before we found a table ourselves. Food was good. Happy hour was good. Our server made the difference. Probably wouldn't go back.
Passable food. Service is friendly but slow. Large space for groups and families.
The first thing you notice is the TVs, it would be great to watch the Sunday game there but the restaurant is a typical bro and bacon type restaurant giving towards men and beer. They have a large selection of beer. The carne asada fries were kind of cold and nothing to write home about, the burger was okay in the fries could have been better. I will probably come back for the beer, the TV and some appetizers
Made for tourist gastropub with mediocre food. Their beer list is long, but boring. Beautiful facility. Good for kids. Try to arrive before 5:30 PM to take advantage of $2 off beers and food specials. Their 4% surcharge is completely bogus. Only a handful of restaurants in all of San Diego do this. Watch your check carefully. I was charged twice what I should have paid on a split check on 2/28/2019.
Very good sports bar vibe and family friendly. Good food, good service and reasonable prices although I don't completely agree with the 4% surcharge. They say it's to help keep with the increased costs, it's just I don't like to be charge directly for something extra you didn't ask for or knew about it. Overall it's a good place to go with kids or friends and enjoy american food.
Greetings Googlers, this is my first time at this place and was in awww of the way I entered this place. Lots of TVs to watch sports, the bar had several taps of many craft beers, and arcade games for the family to enjoy. There was a wait but luckily I was alone on this adventure and was able to sit at the bar. I decided to go with their Bam Bam Shrimp to start me off followed with fish and chips. I didn’t get my starter to start me off instead I received both at the same time. I didn’t wait so long which may of been why I didn’t get my starter to begin my dining experience. The Bam Bam shrimp had a little kick that was tolerable for me but the veggie combination at the bottom helped to calm the spice although it wasn’t as delicious as I’d hoped. The chips were on point and came out hot however the fish had too much batter on them cause as I got to the last 2 they started to taste doughy as if they were not cooked completely. The bar staff was very energetic and was great to watch as they worked the bar. I did try their pineapple cider for those who want a beer to try I give that one a thumbs up. Not a bad experience but wished the food measured up to the over all ambiance of the place.
A fun stop for beers and pub food. The wall of taps behind the bar is impressive, but not all are in use since the beer list was surprisingly short given the number of taps they have. Most beers are from SoCal, but there are some other west coast craft brews available as well as the usual big name beers. Food tasted standard, but was on the expensive side for what it was. Beer also trended to the expensive side too. Service was slow.
Beers great. Foods definitely reheated. Or premade. Its never hot either which was a big irk. Id say its not worth the price so eat else where and just enjoy the beer and appetizers.

The restaurant has a nice vibe, but I sat at the bar, and there weren't a lot of ppl there, and the service was okay but not great. My sister and I had a request refills often because the bartenders didn't pay very much attention. The food was subpar for how much we paid. I don't feel like it was worth it. But the bartender that checked us out did give a discount, which was nice, don't think this restaurant was my go-to.
My salad was bad, they had bamboo picks in my salad and it made the roof of my mouth bled. Service was slow including the restaurants manager.
If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing dinner - this place is not for you. The atmosphere is loud and lively, with party animals, families with kids, locals having a drink, and young adults playing foosball, ping pong, and pool. Lots of sports viewing available from just about any seat. They have an incredible beer selection, and the menu is well balanced with affordable burgers, flat breads, salads, and dinner plates. Some great appetizers too. We had the chicken sandwich and the beer-brined chicken - both were good, but I highly recommend the latter. Service was excellent. The parking lot was a zoo, but we just parked across the street. Just be warned - loud as heck in this place. We noticed that the enclosed patio seemed to be quieter, so some might prefer to sit out there. Our second visit was actually pretty disappointing. A large contingent of loud, screaming youth baseball players took over the shuffleboard area the entire time we were there while their parents pounded beers. Now, I understand kids should be allowed their turn, but is this what Draft Republic intended? I guess they need to decide if they are an adult restaurant (they have over 100 draft beers) or an expensive option to Chuck E Cheese. On our third visit, to be frank, the burger, chicken sandwich, and fries all were pretty bad. I think we’re done.
Great location. Good drinks. Mediocre food, especially considering the cost. We had the sausage appetizer (too dry), the loaded fries (fry to topping ratio was off), pulled pork burger ( was good), buffalo cauliflower (batter was too thick for the small pieces of cauliflower), and the Tuesday taco special (tortillas were dry -the taco was very small 1-2 bites), and kids spaghetti (fine). Our waiter was good.
It was bad. Not sure how there are multiple of these. The food was gross, from salad to pizza to Philly cheese steak. All bad.
I ordered the surf and turf quesadilla and after eating half of it I found that the shrimp had not been deveined at all! SO gross!! I'm so glad it caught my eye and I investigated further! Our waiter was at the table next to ours and I tried to get his attention but he didn't look at me and walked away instead, posted up across the room and stood there watching the game on the big screen. It took so long to finally get his attention from across the room to point this out that my kids were almost done eating and even though his manager offered to make me something new I didn't have time anymore. Zero chance my young kids would sit there calmly waiting for new food to be made and for me to eat it. The manager explained that they recieve the "hand breaded" shrimp pre-breaded so they were unaware that it hadn't been deveined. They removed the price of it from our bill but I still went home grossed out and hungry.
Be aware of the "5% supplemental fee"; also was charged before tax and tip. It wasn't told to us by the server before ordering or during payment process; by the time we realized it, we already paid. I checked the menu again, then noticed the small print at the bottom of the menu stating the fee. That being said, the atmosphere is decent. It's what you expected of a nice beer sports bar/restaurant. Food was just ok for the price; each person spent about $35 (1 item + 1 beer + 5% fee) before tax and tip. Service was fair, but we definitely felt deceived for not being told about the fee at all until we asked about it after paying. We won't be back for sure. There are other beer sports restaurants that don't try to deceive their customers.
