The afternoon manager (or owner?) is pretty straightforward and gets you out as fast as he can with the correct order. I always remember something at the window and he is always polite and accommodating. The food? It's KFC, watch South Park. The location is small so I always do drive through.
Very clean restaurant with some limited indoor seating. I got the 3 piece chicken tender fill up. I loved the chicken and kfc sauce. Lovely biscuit with butter and honey. Cole slaw was 11/10, so delicious 😋. The Mountain Dew sweet lightning paired well with the chicken. The cookie tasted like it had just been oven baked. Free soda refill too!! I would recommend 1,000%

I haven't been to this KFC for a while, thought they did a great job. The food was very good, the atmosphere has gone through a remodel and looks great. If there was one thing that stood out was the service: Friendly, and quick. Would definitely go back.
The definition of a scam! The Nashville Hot tenders did not come as advertised. We were also charged 6$ extra for no reason! No KFC sauce no Sandwiches. Definitely go to a diff branch. EDIT: gave it another try and there was a big improvement! Not great but much better overall experience/ food!

I love KFC! And food period.... but this location for some reason always tells me that there will be chicken wings in my bucket and when I go home there are none in the bucket. That frustrates me. So yes maybe the first is okay cause I’m thinking maybe they forgot but this would be my 6th or maybe 8th time there and no wings. Makes me disappointed. Especially when you spend a certain amount that you think you should be satisfied. I call the customer service for KFC and the lady that helps me is the kindest person. Thank you for your help. I mean I was glad I reported it and I don’t want no extra chicken but I want this issue to be fixed. I am waiting for the management to call me. But all in all I would say chicken is good. Really finger linking good but the cashier... IDK. Same guy that always says “wings will be in there.” Ya right! That does not happen. At least not with me. So I will be updating this when I get a call.
The food on this KFC was a bit overcooked and a bit dry. But gotta love that coleslaw!!! Manager seems he lost his smile more often than not. But it's seems less and less I go to any KFC. Restaurant is clean inside and outside good location.
For those complaining about the manager being a bit impolite, they aren’t wrong. He seems more interested in getting you out the door than treating you with respect. So much so that my request for wedges instead of mashed potatoes went through one ear and out the other. He agreed to my request but the change didn’t reflect on my receipt or the food when I got it. I got to the place around 9:04 to dine in, thank god because he locked the doors to get in around 9:15, 45 minutes before the store closes! They aren’t allowed to lock the doors that early before closing am I wrong? That speaks a lot to how they run this business.
I went there late night before they were about to close. The only reason why I give a 3 star is like because we were already inside waiting for our food to be cooked it was 9 15 ish and the person told us if we were going to eat inside we have to be out by 10 . Places that I have been to usually if you are already inside you should be able to finish especially since they did not have cooked food already prepared and ready when there is at least an hour to an hour and a half time till closing

Ordered an 8 piece family meal & 12 piece nuggets for a potluck. They refused to give me more than 2 sauce packets, even with all the advertising for "sauced nuggets." With all that chickedn 2 packets is a joke. Service is horrible, doubt I'll go again.

This place has gotten better after their oil based sauce went away. Overall, the food is pretty good now although the cooks do need to be trained on the proper use of thickening agents. The gravy sometimes is idk the best word for it... chalky, or floury maybe.
The tall Asian guy there is so rude! you pull up to the window which is where the menu is and he immediately says can i take your order, he expects you to know what you want before you get there. I ask him to give me a minute and he gets mad at you. Pull up to the window he is even more rude. Tall Asian guy with glasses. Beware of him. He wants you out fast even if there is nobody behind or in front of you. The need to have a menu before you go in the drive thru so you can look at it. There has been changes and you sometimes need to look.
Consistently very slow service and multiple times they sent us home with our food with no biscuits, gravy and sauces that we paid for.

I ordered a basic family dinner, nothing customized and they still messed my order up and also I ordered some spicy bbq chicken tenders which tasted like they've been sitting out for a few hours and reheated. I hope it was just a bad day for them and not a normal thing, but this was my experience.
I normally dont like to leave a negative reviews but I feel this place needs one. Chicken is always old and cold. Staff is not friendly. Order is never accurate (missing chicken or side dish). This place needs a overhaul.
I wish I can give this zero zero rating. Old Latino person work at the window for drive thru order was very rude. He gives us very rude comments after we got our order. I just don't want to waste my time to argue with this employee. Customer service on this store is so awful. I rather drive to another town to order another KFC.
Over charged my BLACK friend and chicken was spongy
The worst extra crispy chicken I have ever purchased. Gave the location several tries but it was worse every time. My biscuit was rock hard. Purchased Thursday March 2 at 12:05. This location is ruining the KFC Image. Chicken skin was rubbery and fell off the leg and thigh cut. What a waste especially when I indulge in a fried fast food. Never going to this location again!!!!!
A horrible experience with the staff that worked at the drive through. We arrived 15 minutes before closing, and they didn't have the stock to fulfil our requested order. Would not have been a problem, until they tried to charge us extra for the only cuts of chicken they did have. We made our point that this was their shortcoming and that we should not be charged for it. When we got home we discovered they decided to make their point by dishonestly short-changing us on a few items from our order that we had paid for and were never given. Avoid at all costs, the staff is rude and dishonest. I hope that management is able to retrain their staff, given it hurts the KFC brand.
If I could give them zero stars I would. The staff is rude and condescending, I’m literally just trying to get chicken, there is no reason to be condescending. $25 for 8 pieces of chicken? No thanks. It’s a rip off when 8piece family deal is also $25. They said I could only get certain deals through the app, yet the app didn’t work. There are so many other better places to get fried chicken.
The people here always miss something in our order. It's incredibly frustrating after we give them third and fourth chances. Be sure to check your bags, because apparently it's difficult for these children to follow simple order directions at a chicken food place. Incredible.

Every time I drive through to pick up some dinner, they inevitable foul up my order or leave something out. This is the sorriest KFC that I have seen. I keep telling myself that this is the last time I go there, but it is the only one near my house. I keep hoping that they might get it right one day. But the Don’t!
Horrible experience today. Employees didnt seem to care had bad attitude. Bland. The woman took my order seemed like she wasnt happy i was there based on my ethnicity. I tried to make small talk as she took my order was shut down. Gave me the smallest pieces of chicken ever. she glared and just kept watching me at me as i ate and as i left. Also Saw the manager arguing with the customer before me, terrible customer service. Place was completely empty and not suprised why.
Never again I'm coming to this place. First costumer of the day and the girl named Rebecca was already having an attitude. My advice to you, do some more training on customer service or better yet, if you hate coming to work then quit. Poor service. The manager on the other hand was polite and attentive. Very disappointing experience. I ate two pieces of chicken. The chicken was soggy, oily and full of uncooked fat. It had been cooked and on the rack for a very looooong time, that's for sure. I used to love Kentucky. Sadly, after so many years they seem to be ready to go out of business. It felt as if they were not even trying anymore, giving the customers any old pieces they had there. By the way I ate the chicken in the restaurant, so it wasn't soggy because of any box or waiting time on my part
If I could give 0 stars I would. They have no customer service extremely rude and something is always missing or wrong. I would not recommend this location. I live in Castro Valley but I will be driving to San leandro one from now on. The San leandro location always have great customer service and knows how to treat their customers.
I would score no stars at all but not an option. I ordered a KFC famous bowl and received a bowl of mashed potatoes ripped up chicken and grease. When I returned I had to wait 7mins while staff walked around and looked at me standing at the counter with a bag of food like they didn't know what was going on. I wasn't told sorry or anything when I was finally able to ask for my refund....
Our ordered was shorted by two pieces and it tasted old, like had been sitting around for a long time
Never again $11.00 for a Med drink and lrg fry. Then had to wait 13min. In cvs parking lot. Ended up having to call the restaurant to see where my fries were ridiculous I will never go there again. To top it off fries weren't even hot.
We waited in the drive thru line about 10minutes ar 630pm on a Wednesday. When we placed our order for the 8 piece extra crisoy meal the guy told to wait for a minute. He returned to tell us they only had original chicken. We offered to wait for crispy chicken if they needed to prepare it he said they only have all original. We had people.in front and behind us. We were stuck in the line an additional 9 minutes to get out. No one sven came to the window to apologize when we got up there. Very poor customer service.
The food was not testy ,pretty salty as we thought even they didn’t put sauce ( ketchup) on side of order That was first time this location and will be the last .

I just came from picking up an order, and they got everything wrong despite it being an online order in writing. First, they took a while to go to the counter, and no one else was in the restaurant. My husband told them you have the sides wrong and the type of chicken wrong (we ordered extra crispy, not original). They changed that. But then we get home and realize they also got the pieces wrong. We ordered thighs and drumsticks only, not the variety piece/pack. Management: Please ask your employees to pay attention! Customers: Check your pick-up orders before leaving; chances are they got it wrong.
I visited this KFC location today and ordered a burger. After my purchase, I needed to use the restroom, but the customer restroom was marked out of service. I politely asked the cashier if I could use the employee restroom since I was a paying customer. The cashier informed me that the manager would not allow it. I understand policies exist, but it was disappointing to see no alternative or accommodation offered to a customer who had just made a purchase. This experience felt unwelcoming and poorly handled. I hope management takes customer comfort and basic needs more seriously in the future.
This particular location is really bad. I eat here maybe 2-3 times a year. The last 3 times I've been here, I've had to wait over 15 mins for them to make the food after waiting in line and ordering. No one wants to spend 30 mins waiting for fast food. I have also had my order wrong a few times. KFC in general isn't as good as it once was, and this location is always struggling.
This is the 3rd time I've tried this pathetic place. My order is very simple and they have given me poor quality food. 1st cold hard chicken nuggets, cold fries,+ beverage. 2nd Cold nuggets, hard fries, hard/cold cherry poppers and beverage. Today warm nuggets, mash potatoes (incorrect) asked for fries, got the fries re-fried again extra hard 🤮 and drink. They didn't provide a recipe 😔 This place is terrible
I ordered takeout at this KFC and waited for half an hour without anyone calling my number. When I finally asked, they handed me a Doordash order by mistake. Making such an error when the store wasn’t even busy is simply unacceptable. What’s worse, a middle-aged man with glasses (who seemed to be the manager) showed no sign of apology at all. Instead, he kept asking me what I had ordered and even asked if the Doordash order was mine. I had already shown my order number multiple times, yet he kept pushing the responsibility away with no professionalism. This kind of service and management is extremely disappointing. I will not be coming back to this location.

The customer service is lacking, and they frequently get my order wrong. Though I don’t often indulge in fast food, when I do, I expect it to meet a certain standard.
Chicken was completely steaming hot. I’m glad that it was fresh, but they literally put it in my box fresh out the grease. chicken skin was completely fallen off the meat. It has some gooey spots aswell
