I'm a construction manager in Light Farms. This place is a go-to for our group. We can get a great meal with great service only 30 seconds from our homes. The food delivery robot is also a cool bonus.

Smashing place for good food and very friendly and efficient service. Just sit relax and enjoy. Take outs are just as good.

I couldn’t be happier with the Nook! My husband and I live in the neighborhood and we decided to celebrate his 40th birthday and had 20’people visiting. We reserved the outdoor area with the heaters and the staff just went above and beyond to feed a crowd of 20 people ! If you are planning a large event please come speak with John and come over To the Nook! You will not be disappointed. Our favorite drink is peach less in celina and the Old Fashions. For food we absolutely love the tequenos , flatbreads and zoodles. Everyone was happy and pleased with the experience!

I love this place. As someone whom is visually impaired it’s nice to have such a great place I can walk to. Everyone addresses me by name, the food is always on point, and the price is fair. Very calm restaurant in the vicinity of light forms. Plenty of parking. A good place for meeting spot.

Convenient and tasty. Food is always really good. I have never eaten in but the to go works well. Ordering online makes it convenient. Only improvements would be a way to specify the pickup time so advanced ordering would be possible.

Fun place. Good food. It’s at a housing development but still a good place for food. Waiter was very engaged and personable.

Cozy spot with a nice bar and TV’s to watch the football game. Food was really good as well! They have a little robot that delivers your food, it’s super fun to watch. You don’t have to live in the neighborhood to go here. Will definitely be back!

LoVE the food here, I have gone a few times but tonight we had a cheese burger (always perfectly cooked with a soft fresh bun and fresh lettuce and tomatoes) I tried the new Philly chesesteak and that was amazing. Fresh bun, thin sliced beef, very juicy, I really didn't need extra condiments. Clean tasting tea. Had a live singer that was great. Its a neighborhood restaurant so it could have been turned down 1 notch so I could talk to my friends without yelling, but it didn't lower the stars- its a bar not a library :)

This place has nice ambiance and good food. We liked everything we ordered especially chicken pesto pasta. Be ready to be surprised by robot which brings your food. :)

These Impossible Veggie Tacos 🌮 at The Nook were delicious I tell you. Delicious. Definitely going on my rotation for sure. I might have to try this as a salad bowl next time because it was pretty filling with all those street tortillas. The staff and food here was great! Went on a busy day and was really happy with our bartender (McKayla?) The 2 girls she was working were so helpful to eachother, checking on eachother. Big time fan. I had a vegetable noodle dish and a cocktail. It had sports running on the TV and kind people around. Easy place to go alone or with a group.

We drove 45 mins to spend the night eating and relaxing on their couch and it was worth it. The cocktails are top notch, the Bloody Mary is the best we have ever had. The food was was really tasty, we loved the hummus. The customer service was great, very attentive and friendly.

Tried to visit today for the first time. It looked pretty cool but it was confusing walking in the entrance. There is not a sign saying what to do , like seat yourself etc. We stood there for a few minutes and nobody said anything or welcomed us, so we left. Great food and impeccable service! We sat at the bar and McKenna was phenomenal. She is talented and skilled at making delectable cocktails, and her service level is off the charts. We started with the brisket eggrolls which were sweet and savory. We then enjoyed the Avocado BLT and the Patty Melt. Both were fantastic, and neither of us could choose a fave because they each were so delicious. The fries were scrumptious and crispy. We had to get a to go box so we can enjoy more later. Food and service was just ok. This looks like a quick spot to stop for food and drinks in the community. But it is a community restaurant, lots of screaming out of control kids running around along with their drunk cackling moms. This seems more of a “party cove” than a “nook”. At least it seemed that way on a Wednesday in the middle of the afternoon. Just thought I’d mention this in case anyone had planned to go there to study or work.

Cool place, seems to be popular. My first time eating here. I had the arepas, and I highly recommend them, we also had some sweet potato fries, which were very good as well. They have a very nice selection of food and I can't wait to try it all. So here is my only criticism - they have this robot (no joke, think Rocky 4, if you don't know, Google it). So, this robot brings you the food, but the waiter walks next to it... it's goofy as heck, but I am undecided on whether I hate it or not, if anything, it makes them unique, I guess. Cute and simple decor, they went with a rustic vibe. Really loved the light fixtures! The menu items are rather limited. I ordered the breakfast flatbread, my daughter ordered the macaroni and her friend ordered the salad. Everything was pretty tasty, would have been nice to see more brunch items. They had a food delivery robot! That was pretty fun for us all to see, we named her boo boo kitty. There are a lot of Windows and doors in the restaurant, I did notice a lot of handprints and grubby glass, if I could make a recommendation it would be to get those handled. I imagine this would be a fun spot for the residents to have so close. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food was incredible. The Brussels Sprouts as a 1st didn't show up till Our food came out but We didn't care. I recommend the Brussel Sprouts! It was all served piping hot and delicious. My hamburger salad was delicious and the fries were devine. The adults ordered ORANGE! Old Fashions. Not sure if they incorporated the cherry and passed it through the strainer when pouring over the cube... It wasn't in the spirit when delivered. The spirit was spot on. We visited, talked airplanes, watched Nascar and received Good News while there... It was a great night. My favorite is when I told the staff it was my first time there they said "Well welcome... We are happy you're here." Then to top off the evening... We walk out and i get to see ORANGE!!! The precious golf cart covered in Oklahoma State Goodness. Great food and drinks and a friendly staff, my only complaint is them not requiring masks for those making or serving food. I live at home with a cancer patient, so I try to be as cautious as possible. Please reconsider requiring your staff that are serving and delivering food to wear masks.

Fries are about the best thing I've had. Got the BLT with added shredded chicken - it was pretty good. I've tried this place a few times over the past few years being a Light Farms resident - it has certainly been hit or miss. I do find it quite annoying that yesterday while trying to eat, and while my drink was empty, I was bothered to have my ID scanned (not drinking alcohol) because they are "behind" on their scans for the Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission. That's not my problem and, in fact, I had to question what they were doing because it seemed like it seemed fishy. Anyway, that's my reason for 3 stars.

Well tonight's dinner was a big hit and a miss sadly enough. My husband and I come here on occasion and order the same thing because we liked the chicken tenders and Rasta Pasta dish! But we were very disappointed with our food tonight, chicken in my pasta tasted like pre frozen not fresh whatsoever chicken. It was chewy and dry and had no flavor to it, worse then fast food chicken to be honest. For $15 a plate I was expecting a lot better quality as did my husband when he got his chicken tenders, which tasted like pre packaged chicken strips, and on top of that they were super dry and had a lot of gristle on them. For a $40 meal we were expecting a lot more ...sadly we will not be returning to this neighborhood restaurant. Hope our lovely waitress passes along our honest feedback to the cook. They need to ramp up their standards and quality of poultry if their price point stays this high. Disappointed this had to be our last meal here.

Had smash burger, looks good, but pulled pork was cold and wasn't cooked fresh today, was reheated or placed on there from the fridge..if it was fresh and hot I would have rated this high. Good service, clean atmosphere and will return.

Food was fine, service was good. The problem is the music was much too loud. Stopped in with a friend for dinner we couldn't hear each other talk. Probably won't be back anytime soon. Oh and the lighting in parking lot is terrible.

Food was good, but could be better with more seasoning to add flavor. Had the elote and would suggest mixing corn with seasoning, cheese, cream, then top with spices and such.

Friday, Dec. 17, 2021 - 2:30 pm We came to this restaurant because it had good reviews. Well…., it was a disappointment for both of us. More than a restaurant, it is like a Club House which provides bathrooms for the kids in the neighborhood. We ordered 2 different dishes, which had chicken and it was dry and tasteless. The pasta seemed to be reheated based on the time it took for the food to be ready (less than 10 minutes). Tables around were dirty and the service was mediocre. It could be because it appeared they could be understaffed. If you still decide go, stick with the fries. They are very good! Sad because it is a nice place, but they should have freshly prepared food and a better service.

We ordered Nachos, Buffalo Wings, Elote, and the Buffalo Sandwich to-go. The queso to the nachos had a strange taste and the chips were stale. The Elote was inedible, corn was old and hard, the crema had no flavor (it really shouldn't be served). My nephew had the Buffalo sandwich and said it was fine, the fries were really good. This was the first time we tried this place, and may not go back.

It unfortunate that the servers and cooks no longer adhere to the Texas mask mandate. When I look back in the kitchen and don’t see any of the cooks wearing masks properly it makes me uneasy. Some don’t have masks at all and most have them down around their neck not covering their mouth or nose. We have given them multiple chances and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after multiple occurrences like this we will not be returning because we don’t believe they follow good food safety practices. If they can’t follow a simple mask mandate, what other food safety practices might they be glossing over? It’s a shame, for a community restaurant you would think they would do more to protect their neighbors.

Ordered a takeout and food was very cold. I felt everything was premade.

If you are looking for hot tasty food; then, go to another restaurant. The food was bland at best and both burger orders had cold fries served with the lukewarm non-memorable burger. The prices are high for such a low standard of food. The one star was a gracious rating as this neighborhood joint deserves a half star simply because it exist.

Would not recommend, food quality sub-par. Save your money for a real restaurant as prices were high for what the atmosphere and the furnishings are. Our server was good though. Went back a second time to give another chance, but no. Still the same, just this time the burgers were over cooked and not warm. Still do not recommend. Extremely inconsistent to spend good money here. Many better places opening up around the area now.

We got there and were told to seat ourselves. We wanted to sit outside. All the tables were wobbly and dirty with food grim and slim on them. We waited about ten minutes for a server to come out. Asked her if she could wash the table, she huffs off and ten minutes later comes back. We asked for menus, she tossed us a business card with a QR code and told us to just order that way. Said she'd be back with water... Never did get any water after another ten minutes wait. At that point we both decided to just leave. Nice friendly neighborhood customers though.

We live Light Farms and have been to the Nook several times and since its a neighborhood restaurant you expept to pay a little more. I went today with my wife and got 6 mini breakfast tacos and was charged $30 for six mini tacos. This is not reasonable and after talking to the associate on duty, they were not willing to change the bill. I support local, and dont mind paying more but this is highway robery.

Reply: I had been ignored by multiple employees already. Update:$13 overcooked small, for the price, pepperoni pizza. The hamburger fries were good though. We won't be back. Pretty sorry customer service. We had an order pickup but had never been here before. There's signage to seat your self but nothing i saw for pick ups. At least two employees made eye contact while I stood at the counter and ignored me. Had to bug the person working the bar for where I was supposed to go.

Pretentious, overpriced & over rated unless of course you pull up in a 6 person golf cart. Owner…….Ya might consider checking your Ego at the door with 21 1 star reviews!

Well I tried to spare the details to be polite, but since you guys really want some feedback, here: Atmosphere: There was a half-chewed hot dog on the floor next to our table. They let other patrons vape right next to you and your kids. Tables aren’t cleaned well and the whole place seems fairly poorly kept. Food: The food is elementary school cafeteria quality at best. Most of the food was flavorless, and hasn’t even been properly cooked. The cheese wasn’t even melted in the quesadilla one of us got. Anything else was overcooked, and again, flavorless is the best descriptor I can offer. Service: No physical menus, waited on by a robot, and slow. And then, when someone leaves a review, the owner gets on here with an attitude instead of an apology or moving on. 👍👍

Must have been a bad night. We ordered boneless wings and got bone in. I paid $8 for the smallest amount of soup it wasn’t even a cup and tasted from a can. Not fresh. My kids said the Ceaser salad was spicy and didn’t like the cheese flatbread. All for $50. Won’t be back. Disappointed

My friend and I came in to get a couple of drinks at the bar, but we couldn’t find our bartender. We normally have wonderful female bartenders so we were confused why no one was there. Come to find out he was sitting on the couch behind us chatting. When he came back to take our order he was short with us and annoyed but seemed to LOVE talking to the girls next to us which was annoying. I felt like an inconvenience to be there and that has NEVER happened before. The drinks were fine but the service made the experience bad and not enjoyable.
